1二氧化硅纳米流体在储集层微粒运移控制中的应用显示文摘利用SiO_2纳米流体开展岩心驱替实验,通过注入SiO_2纳米流体改变孔壁的表面性质,加强颗粒与孔壁间的吸引力,克服水动力排斥力,以提高临界流速,控制储集层中微粒运移、提高注液速度。在注水过程中注入SiO_2纳米颗粒控制微粒的运移,有助于设计更高的产/注液速度。驱替实验结果表明质量分数为0.1%的SiO_2纳米流体控制微粒运移的性能最好,可将微粒运移量降低80%。增加注入流体的盐度并不能改善纳米流体控制微粒运移的性能。通过测量岩心表面的Zeta电位,得知SiO_2纳米颗粒由于带负电荷不能改变孔壁上的Zeta电位。原子力显微镜(AFM)分析证明,控制微粒运移的主要机理是SiO_2纳米流体增加了孔壁的粗糙度,需要更大的水动力才能使多孔介质中的微粒开始移动。对于所有实验都计算了微粒上的总作用力和扭矩,理论结果与实验结果吻合,计算结果表明微粒主要以滚动机理从孔壁脱落。HASANNEJADA Reza POURAFSHARY Peyman VATANI Ali SAMENI Abdolhamid 2017石油勘探与开发2017,44,5:21
2采用海泡石纳米颗粒控制膨润土基钻井液性能显示文摘提出在膨润土基钻井液中添加海泡石纳米颗粒来控制其性能,并通过实验研究了不同温度压力条件下海泡石纳米颗粒对膨润土基钻井液流变性、滤失性等性能的影响。测量了添加海泡石纳米颗粒前后膨润土基钻井液在不同温度压力条件下的塑性黏度、动切力和滤失量,并在储集层温度压力条件下对添加海泡石纳米颗粒前后的膨润土基钻井液进行了岩心驱替实验,对比了钻井液的滤失量及对地层的伤害程度。结果表明:添加海泡石纳米颗粒可以提高清水和盐水膨润土基钻井液的塑性黏度和动切力;海泡石纳米颗粒可以在较大的温度和压力范围内特别是高温高压条件下保持钻井液流变性的稳定;储集层温度压力条件下,海泡石纳米颗粒降低了钻井液的滤失量,抑制了砂岩岩心渗透率降低。海泡石纳米颗粒是一种理想的膨润土基钻井液添加剂。AL-MALKI Needaa POURAFSHARY Peyman AL-HADRAMI Hamoud ABDO Jamil 2016石油勘探与开发2016,43,4:7
3Experimental investigation of changes in petrophysical properties and structural deformation of carbonate reservoirs显示文摘To examine the effect of pressure on pore structure and petrophysical properties of carbonate rock, the porosity, permeability, CT scanning, SEM and elastic wave velocity of two carbonate core plug samples from an oilfield in Southwest Iran were analyzed under cyclic pressure. One of the plugs was calcite and the other was dolomite with anhydrite nodules. The cyclic pressure exerted on the samples increased from 13.79 MPa to 27.58 MPa in six steps, and the variations in petrophysical properties of the two samples at different pressure loading and unloading steps were counted and analyzed. The results show that the calcite sample decreases in porosity and permeability with the increase of pressure, which is consistent with the results from compression and shear wave velocity tests. In the dolomite sample, the decreasing trend was not observed;fluctuations of compressive and shear velocities were observed during the loading stage, which may be due to different geometries of the pores and the porosity variation in the sample. 4Experimental and modelling study of the solubility of CO_2 in various CaCl_2 solutions at different temperatures and pressures显示文摘Study of the thermodynamic behaviour of CaCl2-H2O-CO2 systems is important in different scientific areas in the chemical and petroleum engineering fields. For example, a system including salt-H2O-CO2 is a common system in CO2 geological storage. During carbonate matrix acidizing, this mixture also appears as the spent acid. Hence, study of the behaviour of this system and the solubility of CO2 in CaCl2 brine in different thermodynamic conditions is critical. In this study, CO2 solubility in 0, 1.90 and 4.80 mol/L CaCl2 solutions at 328.15 to 375.15 K and 68.9 to 206.8 bar were measured. These values are normal for oil reservoirs. A popular thermodynamic model is available in the literature for estimating the CO2 solubility in pure water and NaCl solutions. In this paper, the available model was modified by experimental work to be applicable for CaCl2 as well. Based on the measured data, the component interaction parameters in the base model were adjusted for a CaCl2-H2O-CO2 system. The developed model could predict CO2 solubility in different conditions with remarkable accuracy, particularly for high concentration solutions and at high pressures. This improvement is up to 65% better than in the base model. 5阳离子对交联聚合物凝胶体系性能的影响显示文摘通过室内实验研究不同阳离子浓度和类型对瓜胶、黄原胶以及部分水解聚丙烯酰胺(HPAM)交联凝胶流变性和稳定性的影响,提出利用多壁碳纳米管(MWCNT)降低阳离子负面影响的思路。交联凝胶体系中阳离子的存在会降低交联凝胶的黏度,阳离子浓度越高,黏度降低幅度越大,二价阳离子比一价阳离子降低黏度的幅度更大。阳离子会降低交联凝胶的稳定性,并且在较高盐度条件下更为严重。在HPAM凝胶中添加MWCNT,同时利用3-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(APTES)进行交联,MWCNT可以包围阳离子并将其从聚合物上剥离,降低阳离子与聚合物发生反应的可能性,从而使得交联凝胶黏度和破裂压力均得到提高,提高HPAM交联凝胶在不同作业条件下的稳定性,可用于相关的钻井作业。SEDAGHATZADEH Mostafa SHAHBAZI Khalil POURAFSHARY Peyman RAZAVI Seyed Ali 2019石油勘探与开发2019,46,4:1
6Insights into wettability alteration during low-salinity water flooding by capacitance-resistance model显示文摘The capacitance-resistance model(CRM)has been widely implemented to model and optimise water-flooding and enhanced oil recovery(EOR)techniques.However,there is a gap in the application of CRM to analyse physical phenomena in porous media as well as the performance of EOR methods,such as low-salinity water(LSW)flooding.The main purposes of this study were to investigate how changes in time constant,as a CRM parameter,can represent physical phenomena in porous media such as wettability alteration.Moreover,to show CRM is a reliable tool to use for interpretation of LSW process as an EOR method.The results of different experimental/modelling studies in this research showed that in CRM model time constant increases when the wettability alters to a water wetness state,whereby the smallest time constant value is observed for the oil wet medium and the highest is observed for the water wet medium.The cases with a gradual alteration in wettability show an increasing trend with the dilution of the injection water.The core flooding data confirms the observed results of the simulation approach.The increment in time constant values indicates the resistance against displacing fluid,which is due to the wettability alteration of the porous medium,resulting in additional oil production.The observations made during this research illustrate that the time constant parameter can be a powerful tool for comparing different EOR techniques,since it is a good indication of the speed of impact of a particular injection fluid on production.Davood Zivar Akzhol Ishanov Peyman Pourafshary 2022Petroleum Research2022,7,4:0
7The effect of cations on gelation of cross-linked polymers显示文摘The effects of different cation concentrations and types on rheological property and stability of Guar, Xanthan, and Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide(HPAM) cross-linked gels were analyzed through experiments. Also, a new approach was developed to reduce the negative effects of cation by application of multi-walled carbon nano-tubes(MWCNTs). The presence of cations in cross-linked gel system will reduce the viscosity of gel, the higher the cation concentration is, the lower the viscosity will be. The bivalent cation has a greater viscosity reduction effect on gel than monovalent cation. The stability of cross-linked gels is worse with cations, this situation becomes more serious under higher salinity. MWCNTs were added to HPAM gel, cross-linked by(3-Aminopropyl) triethoxysilane(APTES), they surrounded cations and removed them from polymers and reduced the reaction possibility. 8Application of anionic surfactant\engineered water hybrid EOR in carbonate formations:An experimental analysis显示文摘A hybrid enhanced oil recovery(EOR)method by combining low salinity water(LSW)and low salinity surfactant(LSS)flooding techniques was designed.Different experiments were done to screen the Caspian seawater(SW)with altered ionic composition and surfactant,for the optimized performance in Kazakhstani carbonate oil fields.Changing to a more water-wet state and creating the middle phase were studied as the main criteria to select the best-engineered brine and anionic surfactant.The largest alteration towards the water-wet condition was recorded at 10 times dilution of the SW with 3-and 6-times spiked calcium and sulfate ions,respectively(10xSW-6SO4,Mg,3Ca).This combination of anionic surfactants with carbonate formations is considered as a new approach in hybrid EOR methods.Among the anionic surfactants screened,Soloterra-113H(alkyl benzenesulfonic acid)showed the best solubilization ratio,aqueous stability and Winsor type 3 microemulsions.The wettability alteration by the combination of optimized brine and screened surfactant was greater compared to the standalone LSW,which was confirmed by the 10difference in contact angle measurement.The microemulsion phase constituted nearly 40%of the total height of the oil/brine column by the hybrid method.The recovery factor after injecting formation water was 52%,and it increased to 61%after optimized LSW injection.After switching to the engineered brine/surfactant,the recovery factor reached 70%,which proves the effectiveness of the hybrid method.The proposed combined method works better than either standalone EOR method due to the higher alteration in capillary number by changing wettability and reducing IFT,which leads to higher oil recovery.Aigerim Sekerbayeva Peyman Pourafshary Muhammad Rehan Hashmet 2022Petroleum2022,8,4:0
9Investigation of replacing tracer flooding analysis by capacitance resistance model to estimate interwell connectivity显示文摘Interwell connectivity is an essential parameter for managing waterflooding operations in a field.Analysis of the tracer injection operation is a well-known approach to studying injected fluids distribution in a reservoir and toward producer wells.Developed in the early 2000s,capacitance-resistance model(CRM)is an analytical approach for waterflooding modeling and optimization.Production/injection data are used as input to model the mass balance and estimate parameters such as the interwell connectivity.In this work,we investigated the accuracy of applying the capacitance-resistance model to mimic a tracer test.Such an approach helps assess the connection between the wells and decide on further field development steps cheaper and quicker.Connectivity values estimated by tracer tests and CRM were analyzed and compared for synthetic and real fields.CRM was capable of modeling waterflooding and estimating production in both fields with acceptable accuracy.Parameters such as well spacing and fluid loss during the injection were considered to improve the accuracy of the CRM approach to calculate the interwell connectivity between injector/producer pairs.Our study showed that CRM could serve as a tool for a quick approximate estimation of interwell connectivity under certain assumptions and is recommended as a replacement for tracer flooding analysis,where the tracer test is not possible or is expensive.Adilet Aliyev Davood Zivar Peyman Pourafshary 2023Petroleum2023,9,1:0
10Hybrid surfactant-nanoparticles assisted CO_(2) foam flooding for improved foam stability:A review of principles and applications显示文摘Miscible carbon dioxide(CO_(2))flooding is a well-established and promising enhanced oil recovery(EOR)technique whereby residual oil is recovered by mixing with injected CO_(2)gas.However,CO_(2),being very light and less viscous than reservoir crude oil,results in inefficient sweep efficiency.Extensive research is ongoing to improve CO_(2)mobility control such as the development and generation of CO_(2)/water foams.The long-term stability of foam during the period of flooding is a known issue and must be considered during the design stage of any CO_(2)foam flooding project.The foam stability can be improved by adding surfactants as stabilizers,but surfactants generated foams have generally a shorter life because of an unstable interface.Furthermore,surfactants are prone to higher retention and chemical degradation in the porous media,particularly under harsh reservoir conditions.Research has shown that nanoparticles(NPs)can act as an excellent stabilizing agent for CO_(2)/water foams owing to their surface chemistry and high adsorption energy.The foams generated using NPs are more stable and provide better mobility control compared to surfactant-stabilized foams.One limitation of using NPs as foam stabilizers is their colloidal stability which limits the use of low-cost NPs.Combining surfactants and NPs for CO_(2)foam stabilization is a novel approach and has gained interest among researchers in recent years.Surfactants improve the dispersion of NPs in the aqueous phase and minimize particle aggregation.NPs on the other hand create a stable barrier at the CO_(2)/water interface with the help of surfactants,thus generating highly stable and viscous foams.This paper presents a comprehensive review of the basic principles and applications of stabilized CO_(2)foams.A brief overview of CO_(2)foam flooding is discussed first,followed by a review of standalone surfactant-stabilized and NPs-stabilized CO_(2)/water foams.The application of hybrid surfactant-NPs stabilized CO_(2)foams is then presented and areas requiring further investigation are highlighted.This review provides an insight into a novel approach to stabilize CO_(2)/water foams and the effectiveness of the method as proved by various studies.Miras Issakhov Mariam Shakeel Peyman Pourafshary Saule Aidarova Altynay Sharipova 2022Petroleum Research2022,7,2:0
11Experimental investigation of the application of Eucalyptus bark to prevent lost circulation in pay zones with acid dissolution capability显示文摘Loss of drilling fluid is a common problem during the drilling of wells and it restricts the appropriate functionality of muds.Drilling fluid loss significantly increases drilling costs and non-productive time as well as the drilling operation risks.Various investigations have been carried out in order to find appropriate mud additives that either block fractures and pores or reduce fluid loss by improving the fluid rheology.Cheap,environmentally friendly and effective additives are still required by the drilling industry.Hence,the application of available materials in each region,to produce appropriate additives,is a challenge for the oil industry.In this study,Eucalyptus Camaldulensis(EUC)bark powder has been chosen as a new,fibrous,cheap,environmentally friendly and available material to control fluid loss,particularly in southern Iran.Different characterization tests,such as acid dissolution and fluid loss control,were carried out to study the performance of the new proposed additive.Removal by hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid were studied at various acid concentrations and temperatures.Dynamic fluid loss was also measured at different EUC concentrations.Our study showed that EUC powder can reduce the final fluid loss by 88-97%,the initial fluid loss by 45-66%,and the total loss by 87e94%,which is a satisfactory level.Mostafa Sedaghatzadeh Khalil Shahbazi Peyman Pourafshary Seyed Ali Razavi 2021Petroleum2021,7,2:0
12碳酸盐岩储集层岩石物性变化与结构变形实验显示文摘为研究压力对碳酸盐岩孔隙结构、岩石物理性质等方面的影响,在压力循环加载条件下对伊朗西南部South-Pars气田下三叠统Kangan组2个碳酸盐岩柱状岩心样品进行孔隙度、渗透率、CT扫描、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、弹性波速度等分析。在2个岩心样品中,一个样品为方解石,另一个为含硬石膏结核的白云石,分别以6个阶段循环施加13.79 MPa和27.58 MPa的负载压力,统计分析2个样品在不同压力加载/卸载阶段下的物性变化特点。结果表明,方解石样品的孔隙度和渗透率随压力载荷的增加而减小,这与纵波和横波速度测试的结果一致。在白云石样品中则没有观察到这种趋势。在纵波和横波速度分析中可观察到压力加载阶段速度发生起伏,这可能是由于孔隙具有不同几何形状和样品中的孔隙发生变化所致。研究碳酸盐岩物性随压力的变化有助于优化调整油气藏开发方案。SALIMIDELSHAD Yaser MORADZADEH Ali KAZEMZADEH Ezatallah POURAFSHARY Peyman MAJDI Abbas 2019石油勘探与开发2019,46,3:0
