| 4 | A feedback-retransmission based asynchronous frequency hopping MAC protocol for military aeronautical ad hoc networks显示文摘Attacking time-sensitive targets has rigid demands for the timeliness and reliability of information transmission, while typical Media Access Control(MAC) designed for this application works well only in very light-load scenarios; as a consequence, the performances of system throughput and channel utilization are degraded. For this problem, a feedback-retransmission based asynchronous FRequency hopping Media Access(FRMA) control protocol is proposed. Burst communication, asynchronous Frequency Hopping(FH), channel coding, and feedback retransmission are utilized in FRMA. With the mechanism of asynchronous FH, immediate packet transmission and multi-packet reception can be realized, and thus the timeliness is improved.Furthermore, reliability can be achieved via channel coding and feedback retransmission. With theories of queuing theory, Markov model, packets collision model, and discrete Laplace transformation, the formulas of packet success probability, system throughput, average packet end-to-end delay, and delay distribution are obtained. The approximation accuracy of theoretical derivation is verified by experimental results. | 5 | Dye-Enhanced Self-Electrophoretic Propulsion of Light-Driven TiO_2–Au Janus Micromotors显示文摘Light-driven synthetic micro-/nanomotors have attracted considerable attention in recent years due to their unique performances and potential applications. We herein demonstrate the dye-enhanced self-electrophoretic propulsion of light-driven Ti O_2–Au Janus micromotors in aqueous dye solutions. Compared to the velocities of these micromotors in pure water, 1.7, 1.5, and 1.4 times accelerated motions were observed for them in aqueous solutions of methyl blue(10-5g L^(-1)), cresol red(10^(-4)g L^(-1)),and methyl orange(10^(-4)g L^(-1)), respectively. We determined that the micromotor speed changes depending on thetype of dyes, due to variations in their photodegradation rates. In addition, following the deposition of a paramagnetic Ni layer between the Au and Ti O_2 layers, the micromotor can be precisely navigated under an external magnetic field. | 6 | Mechanical model of vulnerable atherosclerotic plaque rupture显示文摘Rupture of atherosclerotic plaque is the main trigger of acute cardiovascular events, but the mechanism of plaque rupture is still unknown. We have constructed a model describing the motion of the fibrous cap of the plaque using the theory of elastic mechanics and studied the stability of the plaque theoretically. It has shown that plaque rupture is the result of a dynamic interplay between factors intrinsic to the plaque itself and extrinsic factors. | 7 | Composite polymer electrolyte membranes supported by non-woven fabrics for lithium-ion polymer batteries显示文摘Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropyle- ne) (PVDF-HFP) is one of the most popular polymers for polymer electrolyte membranes because of its excellent oper- ating characteristics and superior electrochemical properties. The electrochemical performances of polymer electrolyte membrane can be enhanced by evenly dispersing nano-meter SiO2 particles in the polymer. In this paper, non-woven fab- rics were immersed in the mixed solution of PVDF-HFP/ SiO2/butanone/butanol/plasticizer, and then dried in a vac- uum oven to remove the solvents and the plasticizer and to make porous composite polymer electrolyte membranes. The prepared composite membranes supported by non-woven fabrics boast good mechanical strength and excellent elec- trochemical properties: the electrochemical stability window is 4.8 V vs. Li+/Li, and the ionic conductivity is 3.35×10?4 S/cm (around 60% of that of a common PE membrane) at room temperature.
