Passive-source ocean bottom seismograph(OBS) array experiment in South China Sea and data quality analyses显示文摘Long-term passive source ocean bottom seismograph(OBS) observatory is challenging due to various technical difficulties. In order to gain experience in this field, and to reveal the lithospheric structure beneath the extinct ridge in the central South China Sea(SCS), we carried out a passive source OBS array experiment, which includes 18 OBSs, in the deep portion of SCS. Here we present the instrumentation, the OBS deployment and recovery of this experiment, and more importantly, the data quality evaluated by a number of approaches. Through processing and inspecting waveforms from global, regional and local earthquakes, we find that most of recovered OBSs have good data quality with discernible main phases. The ambient noise analyses of OBS recordings show that their noise is higher than the global average, and the horizontal component is noisier than the vertical, indicating current impacts on horizontal components are more severe. In the period range of 5–10 s, there is a noise notch for the SCS OBSs, and noise levels of horizontal components are comparable to the vertical. This feature, which is not seen at OBS stations in open ocean, suggests the distant sources for double frequency microseism in this marginal sea are not significant. In addition, we successfully determined the orientations for 7 OBSs by investigating their Rayleigh wave polarizations; and we demonstrated the dispersion feature of Rayleigh waves through the frequency-time analysis. Finally, we summarized lessons learned from this experiment regarding the passive source OBS investigations in SCS. | Chenguang Liu Qingfeng Hua Yanliang Pei Ting Yang Shaohong Xia Mei Xue Ba Manh Le Da Huo Fang Liu Haibo Huang | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,33: | 11
Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework 8-Derived Au@ZnO for Efficient and Robust Photocatalytic Degradation of Tetracycline显示文摘Summary of main observation and conclusion Tetracycline (TC) and other antibiotics accumulated in groundwater and soil pollute ecological environment and threaten human health. Gold nan oparticles doped on photocatalysts are able to enhance the photodegradation efficiency during removing these antibiotics, but preparation of Au nanoparticles of well-dispersion on photocatalysts remains challenging. In this work, zeolite imidazolate (ZIF-8) was employed as the precursor to prepare Au@ZnO photocatalyst via impregnation and in-situ reduction method to efficiently degrade the tetracycline in the aqueous solution. Au nanoparticles are of 10 nm in size and uniformly dispersed on the surfaces of ZnO microstructures. The as-prepared Au@ZnO is able to remove 85.5% of TC of 0.010 mg/mL within 2h, presenting higher photocatalytic activity than pure ZnO catalyst. Most importantly, the catalyst shows its superior stability after five cycles without structure and activity changing. The mechanism of the photocatalytic degradation was discussed in detail. | Bijun Gao Jin Zhou Hongliang Wang Guping Zhang Jinghui He Qingfeng Xu Najun Li Dongyun Chen Hua Li Jianmei Lu | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,2: | 6

Syndecan-2, negatively regulated by miR-20b-5p, contributes to 5-fluorouracil resistance of colorectal cancer cells via the JNK/ERK signaling pathway显示文摘5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) resistance has been long considered as an obstacle to the efficacy of chemotherapy in colorectal cancer (CRC). In this study, we demonstrated the role of miR-20b-5p-regulated syndecan-2 (SDC2) in 5-FU resistance of CRC cells. 5-FU-resistant SW480 CRC cells were established by treatment of SW480 cells with stepwise increase of 5-FU concentration. The results showed that SDC2 was expressed significantly higher in SW480/5-FU cells than in SW480/WT cells as revealed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis. MTT assay and BrdU assay showed that SDC2 overexpression led to increased cell survival rate, while SDC2 knockdown reversed the drug resistance of SW480/5-FU cells. Wound healing and transwell invasion assays revealed that knockdown of SDC2 inhibited the migratory and invasive ability of SW480/5-FU cells. Moreover, animal experiments indicated that si-SDC2 plays a suppressive role in tumor growth in vivo. We also confirmed that miR-20b-5p interacted with SDC2, which reversed the effect of SDC2 in SW480/5-FU cells via the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERK) signaling pathway. These findings showed that JNK/ERK signaling pathway is involved in miR-20b-5p/SDC2 axis-mediated 5-FU resistance in SW480/5-FU cells, indicating that the miR-20b-5p/SDC2 axis is a potential target for reversing 5-FU resistance in CRC. | Ruheng Hua Yan Zhang Xiyue Yan Dong Tang Xiaolong Li Qingfeng Ni Daorong Wang Jianwei Zhu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,11: | 4
Study of brain morphology change in Alzheimer’s disease and amnestic mild cognitive impairment compared with normal controls显示文摘Background With an aggravated social ageing level, the number of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) is gradually increasing, and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is considered to be an early form of Alzheimer's disease. How to distinguish diseases in the early stage for the purposes of early diagnosis and treatment is an important topic. Aims The purpose of our study was to investigate the differences in brain cortical thickness and surface area among elderly patients with AD, elderly patients with amnestic MCI (aMCI) and normal controls (NC). Methods 20 AD patients, 21 aMCIs and 25 NC were recruited in the study. FreeSurfer software was used to calculate cortical thickness and surface area among groups. Results The patients with AD had less cortical thickness both in the left and right hemisphere in 17 of the 36 brain regions examined than the patients with aMCI or NC. The patients with AD also had smaller cerebral surface area both in the left and right hemisphere in 3 of the 36 brain regions examined than the patients with aMCI or NC. Compared with the NC, the patients with aMCI only had slight atrophy in the inferior parietal lobe of the left hemisphere, and no significant difference was found. Conclusion AD, as well as aMCI (to a lesser extent), is associated with reduced cortical thickness and surface area in a few brain regions associated with cognitive impairment. These results suggest that cortical thickness and surface area could be used for early detection of AD. | Huanqing Yang Hua Xu Qingfeng Li Yan Jin Weixiong Jiang Jinghua Wang Yina Wu Wei Li Cece Yang Xia Li Shifu Xiao Feng Shi Tao Wang | 2019 | General Psychiatry2019,32,2: | 3
Relationships between the sound speed ratio and physical properties of surface sediments in the South Yellow Sea显示文摘Building empirical equations is an effective way to link the acoustic and physical properties of sediments. These equations play an important role in the prediction of sediments sound speeds required in underwater acoustics.Although many empirical equations coupling acoustic and physical properties have been developed over the past few decades, further confirmation of their applicability by obtaining large amounts of data, especially for equations based on in situ acoustic measurement techniques,is required.A sediment acoustic survey in the South Yellow Sea from 2009 to 2010 revealed statistical relationships between the in situ sound speed and sediment physical properties. To improve the comparability of these relationships with existing empirical equations, the present study calculated the ratio of the in situ sediment sound speed to the bottom seawater sound speed, and established the relationships between the sound speed ratio and the mean grain size, density and porosity of the sediment. The sound speed of seawater at in situ measurement stations was calculated using a perennially averaged seawater sound speed map by an interpolation method. Moreover, empirical relations between the index of impedance and the sound speed and the physical properties were established. The results confirmed that the existing empirical equations between the in situ sound speed ratio and the density and porosity have general suitability for application. This study also considered that a multiple-parameter equation coupling the sound speed ratio to both the porosity and the mean grain size may be more useful for predicting the sound speed than an equation coupling the sound speed ratio to the mean grain size. | Guanbao Li Jingqiang Wang Xiangmei Meng Baohua Liu Guangming Kan Guozhong Han Qingfeng Hua Yanliang Pei Lei Sun | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,4: | 2
A mini-review on ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-Based photocatalysts for energy and environmental application显示文摘As one of the most attractive and eco-friendly technologies, semiconductor photocatalysis is demonstrated as a potential strategy to solve global energy shortage environmental pollution problems.Regarding semiconductor-based photocatalysts,Zinc indium sulfide(ZnIn_(2)S_(4)) with various morphological structures has become research hotspots owing to its superior visible light absorption, high chemical durability and low cost.Nevertheless, the photocatalytic activity of pristine ZnIn_(2)S_(4) is unsatisfactory due to limited range of visible light absorption and fast recombination rate of light-induced electrons and holes.Different modification strategies, such as metal deposition, element doping, vacancy engineering and semiconductor combination, have been systematically developed for enhancing the photocatalytic performance of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) materials. In order to promote further developments of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) in photocatalytic applications, this mini-review summarizes the progress of recent research works for the construction of highly activity ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-based photocatalysts for the first time.In addition, the typical applications of ZnIn_(2)S_(4)-based photocatalytic materials have been critically reviewed and described such as in hydrogen evolution from photocatalytic water splitting, carbon dioxide photoreduction, and treatment of water pollution. The current challenges and further prospects for the development of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) semiconductor photocatalysts are finally pointed out. | Guping Zhang Hao Wu Dongyun Chen Najun Li Qingfeng Xu Hua Li Jinghui He Jianmei Lu | 2022 | Green Energy & Environment2022,7,2: | 2
Microstructure-based multiphysics modeling for semiconductor integration and packaging显示文摘Semiconductor technology and packaging is advancing rapidly toward system integration where the packaging is co-designed and co-manufactured along with the wafer fabrication. However, materials issues,in particular the mesoscale microstructure, have to date been excluded from the integrated product design cycle of electronic packaging due to the myriad of materials used and the complex nature of the material phenomena that require a multiphysics approach to describe. In the context of the materials genome initiative,we present an overview of a series of studies that aim to establish the linkages between the material microstructure and its responses by considering the multiple perspectives of the various multiphysics fields. The microstructure was predicted using thermodynamic calculations, sharp interface kinetic models, phase field, and phase field crystal modelingtechniques.Based on the predicted mesoscale microstructure, linear elastic mechanical analyses and electromigration simulations on the ultrafine interconnects were performed. The microstructural index extracted by a method based on singular value decomposition exhibits a monotonous decrease with an increase in the interconnect size.An artificial neural network-based fitting revealed a nonlinear relationship between the microstructure index and the average von Mises stress in the ultrafine interconnects.Future work to address the randomness of microstructure and the resulting scatter in the reliability is discussed in this study. | Zhiheng Huang Hua Xiong Zhiyong Wu Paul Conway Hugh Davies Alan Dinsdale Yunfei En Qingfeng Zeng | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,15: | 2
Size-dependent catalytic activity of cobalt phosphides for hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Transition metal phosphides are a class of promising electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) to replace noble metals. In this work,we for the first time synthesize carbon supported CoP nanoparticles with the average particle sizes from 3.3 to 9.2 nm,via a solvothermal process followed by low-temperature topological phosphorization, and the size-dependent HER activity of the CoP is investigated by virtue of TEM,XRD,XPS and the electrochemical techniques. It is discovered that the 9.2nm-CoP particles possess high intrinsic HER catalytic activity as compared to the 3.3nm-CoP,although the smaller one displays a high mass activity due to the large surface area.Detailed studies manifest that the small CoP particles suffer from serious oxidation once exposing to air.In contrast, most cobalt remains in the quasi-metallic state in the relatively large CoP particles, which is beneficial for the desorption of Hads, the rate determining step of the HER process over CoP surface. In addition, the low charge transfer resistance across the liquid/solid interfaces also contributes to the excellent HER activity of the relatively large CoP particles. | Xiaoke Li Luhua Jiang Jing Liu Qingfeng Hua Erdong Wang Guangwen Xie | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4: | 1
Facile synthesis of hierarchical flower-like Ag/Cu2O and Au/Cu2O nanostructures and enhanced catalytic performance in electrochemical reduction of CO2显示文摘Novel,hierarchical,flower-like Ag/Cu2O and Au/Cu2O nanostructures were successfully fabricated and applied as efficient electrocatalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO2.Cu2O nanospheres with a uniform size of^180 nm were initially synthesized.Thereafter,Cu2O was used as a sacrificial template to prepare a series of Ag/Cu2O composites through galvanic replacement.By varying the Ag/Cu atomic ratio,Ago.12/Cu2O,having a hierarchical,flower-like nanostructure with intersecting Ag nanoflakes encompassing an inner Cu2O sphere, was prepared. The as-prepared Ag/Cu2O samples presented higher Faradaic efficiencies(FE)for CO and relatively suppressed H2 evolution than the parent Cu2O nanospheres due to the combination of Ag with Cu2O in the former.Notably, the highest CO evolution rate was achieved with Ago.12/Cu2O due to the larger electroactive surface area furnished by the hierarchical structure. The same hier-archical flower-like structure was also obtained for the Auo./Cu2O composite, where the FEco(10%)was even higher than that of Ago.12/Cu2O.Importantly,the results reveal that Ago.12/Cu2O and Auo./Cu2O both exhibit remarkably improved stability relative to Cu2O.This study presents a facile method of developing hierarchical metal-oxide composites as fficient and stable electrocatalysts for the electrochemical reduction of CO2. | Mengyun Wang Shengbo Zhang Mei Li Aiguo Han Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge Jinyu Han Hua Wang | 2020 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,5: | 1
The binding epitope of sintilimab on PD-1 revealed by AbMap显示文摘PD-1 plays an important role as an immune checkpoint.Sintilimab is a newly approved PD-1 antibody for cancer immunotherapy with an unknown binding epitope on PD-1.In this study,to elucidate the molecular mechanism by which sintilimab blocks PD-1 activation,we applied Antibody binding epitope Mapping(AbMap)to identify the binding epitope of sintilimab. An epitope was successfully identified,i.e.SLAPKA,aa 127-132.By constructing a series of point mutations, the dominant residues S127,L128,A129,P130,and A132 of PD-1 were further validated by western blot analysis, biolayer interferometry, and flow cytometry.Structural analysis showed that the epitope is partially within the binding interface of PD-1 and PD-L1,and this epitope also partially overlaps with that of nivolumab and pembrolizumab. These results demonstrate that sintilimab can attenuate PD-1 activation by directly competing with the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1 through binding with the key residues of the FG loop on PD-1.This study also demonstrates the high efficiency and accuracy of AbMap for determining the binding epitope of therapeutic antibodies. | Mingliang Ma Huan Qi Chuansheng Hu Zhaowei Xu Fanlin Wu Nan Wang Danyun Lai Yang Li Hainan Zhang Hewei Jiang Qingfeng Meng Shujuan Guo Yani Kang Xiaodong Zhao Hua Li Sheng-ce Tao | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,5: | 1

Bamboo-like N-doped carbon nanotubes encapsulating M(Co,Fe)-Ni alloy for electrochemical production of syngas with potential-independent CO/H_(2) ratios显示文摘The electrochemical conversion of CO_(2)-H_(2)O into CO-H_(2) using renewable energy is a promising technique for clean syngas production.Low-cost electrocatalysts to produce tunable syngas with a potential-independent CO/H_(2) ratio are highly desired.Herein,a series of N-doped carbon nanotubes encapsulating binary alloy nanoparticles(MxNi-NCNT,M=Fe,Co)were successfully fabricated through the co-pyrolysis of melamine and metal precursors. The MxNi-NCNT samples exhibited bamboo-like nanotubular structures with a large specific surface area and high degree of graphitization.Their electrocatalytic performance for syngas production can be tuned by changing the alloy compositions and modifying the electronic structure of the carbon nanotube through the encapsulated metal nanoparticles.Consequently, syngas with a wide range of CO/H_(2) ratios, from 0.5:1 to 3.4:1,can be produced on MxNi-NCNT.More importantly, stable CO/H_(2) ratios of 2:1 and 1.5:1,corresponding to the ratio to produce biofuels by syngas fermentation, could be realized on Co1Ni-NCNT and Co2Ni-NCNT,respectively,over a potential window of-0.8 to-1.2 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode. Our work provides an approach to develop low-cost and potential-independent electrocatalysts to effectively produce syngas with an adjustable CO/H_(2) ratio from electrochemical CO_(2) reduction. | Jinxiao Bo Mei Li Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge Jinyu Han Hua Wang | 2022 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,4: | 0
PVDF/PLA electrospun fiber membrane impregnated with metal nanoparticles for emulsion separation, surface antimicrobial, and antifouling activities显示文摘Although many superwetting materials have been designed for the treatment of oil-containing wastewater, separation strategies for oil-in-water systems containing bacteria have rarely been reported.Herein, poly(vinylidene difluoride)-and poly(lactic acid)-blended fibrous membranes loaded with silver and copper oxide nanoparticles were successfully prepared by a two-step method of electrostatic spinning and liquid-phase synthesis. The product membrane showed excellent super-oleophilic properties in air and hydrophobicity under oil.It could separate water-in-oil emulsion systems containing surfactants with an efficiency above90%.More importantly, the nanoparticle-loaded fibers were characterized by material degradability and slowly released ions. The fibers exhibited excellent antibacterial activities against both gram-positive and-negative bacteria. This work provides a feasible strategy for water-in-oil emulsion separation and bacterial treatment of wastewater. | XIANG Xin CHEN DongYun LI NaJun XU QingFeng LI Hua HE JingHui LU JianMei | 2023 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,5: | 0
Negative effect on molecular planarity to achieve organic ternary memory: triphenylamine as the spacer显示文摘Adjusting the spacers between the electron-acceptor and the elector-donor is important to design organic ternary memory material but rarely reported. In this paper, two small molecules, ZIPGA and ZIPCAD with benzene ring or triphenylamine as the spacers, were designed and synthesized to fabricate memory devices. The Al/ZIPGA/indium-tin oxide (ITO) device showed ternary characteristics, whereas Al/ZIPCAD/ITO had no obvious memory characteristics. Density functional theory calculation, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were employed to interpret the different memory properties. ZIPGA thin film has the closer intermolecular packing and flatter surface morphology than ZIPCAD film, which was favorable to the electron migration. This work demonstrates the importance of spacers and reveals that triphenylamine may be not a good spacer in design of new memory material. | Shugang Xia Jinghui He Hua Li Qingfeng Xu Najun Li Dongyun Chen Jianmei Lu | 2016 | Science China Chemistry2016,59,6: | 0
A DFT study of CO_2 electrochemical reduction on Pb(211) and Sn(112)显示文摘Electrochemical reduction of CO2 has the benefit of turning greenhouse gas emissions into useful resources. We performed a comparative study of the electrochemical reduction of CO2 on stepped Pb(211) and Sn(112) surfaces based on the results of density functional theory slab calculations. We mapped out the potential energy profiles for electrochemical reduction of CO2 to formate and other possible products on both surfaces. Our results show that the first step is the formation of the adsorbed formate(HCOO*) species through an Eley-Rideal mechanism. The formate species can be reduced to HCOO- through a oneelectron reduction in basic solution, which produces formic acid as the predominant product. The respective potentials of forming HCOO* are predicted to be -0.72 and -0.58 V on Pb and Sn. Higher overpotentials make other reaction pathways accessible, leading to different products. On Sn(112), CO and CH4 can be generated at -0.65 V following formate formation. In contrast, the limiting potential to access alternative reaction channels on Pb(211) is -1.33 V, significantly higher than that of Sn. | Chaonan Cui Hua Wang Xinli Zhu Jinyu Han Qingfeng Ge | 2015 | Science China Chemistry2015,58,4: | 0
Tectonic implications of the subduction of the Kyushu-Palau Ridge beneath the Kyushu, southwest Japan显示文摘The Kyushu-Palau Ridge(KPR),a remnant arc on the Philippine Sea Plate(PSP),is subducting beneath the Kyushu, southwest Japan.Influenced by the subducting KPR,the Kyushu subduction zone corresponding to the KPR is significantly different from Shikoku subduction zone in terms of gravity anomalies, seismicity, the stress state, and the subducting slab morphology.Significant negative free-air and Bouguer gravity anomalies are observed in a prolonged area of KPR,southeast of the Miyazaki Plain, indicating that this is where KPR overlaps the overriding plate. The gravity anomaly in this area is much lower than that in other areas where the inferred KPR extends, suggesting that the subduction of the buoyant KPR may cause the lower mantle density to decrease.More earthquakes have occurred in Hyuga-nada region where the KPR subducts than in Shikoku forearc and other areas in the Kyushu forearc, indicating that the subduction of the KPR enhances the local coupling between the subducting and overriding plates. The centroid moment tensor(CMT)mechanism of earthquakes shows that stress is concentrated in the accumulated crust beneath the Kyushu forearc corresponding to the KPR,and the shallow thrusting events in the obducting plate are caused by the KPR subduction. The buoyant KPR,with a large volume of low-density sediments, was responsible for the differences of the subduction depth and dip angle of the subducting Philippine Sea(PS)slab between northern Kyushu and Shikoku. The seismic gaps and the sudden change of the dipping angle of the subducting PS slab indicate that slab tear may have occurred along the west side of the KPR beneath southwest Kyushu.A two-tear model was proposed, and the subduction of the buoyant KPR was believed to play an important role in the slab tear. | Chenglong Xia Yanpeng Zheng Baohua Liu Qingfeng Hua Long Ma Xianfeng Li Qiuhong Xie | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3: | 0
Selective separation of oil-in-water emulsion with high efficiency by bio-inspired Janus membrane显示文摘The efficient and rapid separation of oil from stabilized oil-in-water emulsions with micro/nanometer size is a global challenge.Owing to the low oil content in oil-in-water emulsions, separating the oil by simply controlling the surface wettability is difficult.Controlling the pore size of the membrane surface to achieve separation will lead to a sharp decrease in flux.Herein, inspired by cell membrane transportation,a hydrophilic/hydrophobic bifunctional Janus membrane for stable oil-in-water separation was prepared by simple surface polymerization and vapor diffusion. The prepared Janus membrane contained a hydrophobic side and hydrophilic polyamine layer. When used for oil-in-water emulsion separation, the polyamine layer accumulated micro/nanometer oil droplets, forming an oil layer on the hydrophobic surface.Water was retained by the 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyl trichlorosilane layer, allowing oil droplets to selectively permeate through the membrane, achieving the separation effect. As the pore size of the modified fabric was basically unchanged, the permeation flux was fast(1.53×10^(3) Lm^(−2) h^(−1)).Furthermore,the poly(N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate)layer destroyed the emulsion stability, making the emulsion droplets aggregate without affecting the separation efficiency with fast permeation flux. Therefore, the prepared bifunctional Janus membrane shows great potential for actual wastewater treatment. | CAI YaHui CHEN DongYun LI NaJun XU QingFeng LI Hua HE JingHui LU JianMei | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10: | 0
Balancing the Activity and Selectivity of Propane Oxidative Dehydrogenation on NiOOH(001)and(010)显示文摘Propane oxidative dehydrogenation(ODH)is an energy-efficient approach to produce propylene. However,ODH suff ers from low propylene selectivity due to a relatively higher activation barrier for propylene formation compared with that for further oxidation. In this work, calculations based on density functional theory were performed to map out the reaction pathways of propane ODH on the surfaces(001)and(010)of nickel oxide hydroxide(NiOOH).Results show that propane is physisorbed on both surfaces and produces propylene through a two-step radical dehydrogenation process. The relatively low activation barriers of propane dehydrogenation on the NiOOH surfaces make the NiOOH-based catalysts promising for propane ODH.By contrast, the weak interaction between the allylic radical and the surface leads to a high activation barrier for further propylene oxidation. These results suggest that the catalysts based on NiOOH can be active and selective for the ODH of propane toward propylene. | Lisheng Li Hua Wang Jinyu Han Xinli Zhu Qingfeng Ge | 2020 | Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,5: | 0
2D/2D hierarchical Co_(3)O_(4)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)heterojunction with robust builtin electric field for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Because of its importance in enhancing charge separation and transfer,built-in electric field engineering has been acknowledged as an effective technique for improving photocatalytic performance.Herein,a stable p–n heterojunction of 2D/2D(2D:twodimensional)Co_(3)O_(4)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)with a strong built-in electric field is precisely constructed. The Co_(3)O_(4)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)heterojunction exhibits a higher visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen(H2)evolution rate than the individual components, which is primarily attributed to the synergy effect of improved light absorption, abundant active sites, short charge transport distance, high separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers.Furthermore, the photoelectrochemical studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculation results demonstrate that the enhanced interfacial charge separation and migration induced by the generated built-in electric field are the critical reasons for the boosted photocatalytic performance. This research might pave the way for the rational design and manufacturing of 2D/2D heterojunction photocatalysts with extremely efficient photocatalytic performance for solar energy conversion. | Guping Zhang Xunxun Li Mengmeng Wang Xueqing Li Yaru Wang Shuting Huang Dongyun Chen Najun Li Qingfeng Xu Hua Li Jianmei Lu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0
