1Facile Synthesis of Porous Carbon Nitride Spheres with Hierarchical Three-Dimensional Mesostructures for CO_(2) Capture显示文摘Porous carbon nitride(CN)spheres with partially crystalline frameworks have been successfully synthesized via a nanocasting approach by using spherical mesoporous cellular silica foams(MCFs)as a hard template,and ethylenediamine and carbon tetrachloride as precursors.The resulting spherical CN materials have uniform diameters of ca.4μm,hierarchical three-dimensional(3-D)mesostructures with small and large mesopores with pore diameters centered at ca.4.0 and 43 nm,respectively,a relatively high BET surface area of~550 m^(2)/g,and a pore volume of 0.90 cm^(3)/g.High-resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)images,wide-angle X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns,and Raman spectra demonstrate that the porous CN material has a partly graphitized structure.In addition,elemental analyses,X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS),Fourier transform infrared spectra(FT-IR),and CO_(2) temperature-programmed desorption(CO_(2)-TPD)show that the material has a high nitrogen content(17.8 wt%)with nitrogen-containing groups and abundant basic sites.The hierarchical porous CN spheres have excellent CO_(2) capture properties with a capacity of 2.90 mmol/g at 25℃and 0.97 mmol/g at 75℃,superior to those of the pure carbon materials with analogous mesostructures.This can be mainly attributed to the abundant nitrogen-containing basic groups,hierarchical mesostructure,relatively high BET surface area and stable framework.Furthermore,the presence of a large number of micropores and small mesopores also enhance the CO_(2) capture performance,owing to the capillary condensation effect.Qiang Li Jianping Yang Dan Feng Zhangxiong Wu Qingling Wu Sung Soo Park Chang-Sik Ha Dongyuan Zhao 2010Nano Research2010,3,9:24

3Mechanism of lead immobilization by oxalic acid-activated phosphate rocks显示文摘Lead (Pb) chemical fixation is an important environmental aspect for human health. Phosphate rocks (PRs) were utilized as an adsorbent to remove Pb from aqueous solution. Raw PRs and oxalic acid-activated PRs (APRs) were used to investigate the effect of chemical modification on the Pb-binding capacity in the pH range 2.0-5.0. The Pb adsorption rate of all treatments above pH 3.0 reached 90%. The Pb binding on PRs and APRs was pH-independent, except at pH 2.0 in activated treatments. The X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed that the raw PRs formed cerussite after reacting with the Pb solution, whereas the APRs formed pyromorphite. The Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy analysis indicated that carbonate (CO32-) in raw PRs and phosphate (PO43-) groups in APRs played an important role in the Pb-binding process. After adsorption, anomalous block-shaped particles were observed by scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy data further indicated that both chemical and physical reactions occurred during the adsorption process according to the binding energy. 5Allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy exhibits promising clinical safety and prolongs the survival of patients with late-stage lung or liver cancer显示文摘Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are promising candidates for cellular tumor immunotherapy.Due to their HLA-independent mode of action,allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells can be considered for clinical application.To apply allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells in adoptive immunotherapy,the methodology used to obtain adequate cell numbers with optimal effector function in vitro needs to be optimized,and clinical safety and efficacy also need to be proven.Therefore,we developed a novel formula to improve the expansion of peripheralγδT cells from healthy donors.Then,we used a humanized mouse model to validate the therapeutic efficacy of expandedγδT cells in vivo;furthermore,the expandedγδT cells were adoptively transferred into late-stage liver and lung cancer patients.We found that the expanded cells possessed significantly improved immune effector functions,including proliferation,differentiation,and cancer cell killing,both in vitro and in the humanized mouse model.Furthermore,a phase I clinical trial in 132 late-stage cancer patients with a total of 414 cell infusions unequivocally validated the clinical safety of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells.Among these 132 patients,8 liver cancer patients and 10 lung cancer patients who received≥5 cell infusions showed greatly prolonged survival,which preliminarily verified the efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell therapy.Our clinical studies underscore the safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy,which will inspire further clinical investigations and eventually benefit cancer patients.Yan Xu Zheng Xiang Mohammed Alnaggar Léonce Kouakanou Jiawei Li Junyi He Jiashuang Yang Yi Hu Yan Chen Li Lin Jianlei Hao Jingxia Li Jibing Chen Man Li Qingling Wu Christian Peters Qinghua Zhou Jianshuang Li Yingqing Liang Xiaohua Wang Baohui Han Meili Ma Dieter Kabelitz Kecheng Xu Wenwei Tu Yangzhe Wu Zhinan Yin 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:8
6Carbon nanotube glycol nanofluids: Photo-thermal properties, thermal conductivities and rheological behavior显示文摘The efficiency and effectiveness of solar energy capture and storage are to a large extent functions of the heat transfer and storage capacity of the medium used. This paper investigates the potential of using carbon nanotube (CNT)-glycol nanosuspension as such a medium, prepared by freeze drying-ultrasonic dispersing after oxidation treatment with HNO 3 . The influences of the mass fraction of CNTs glycol nanofluids and temperatures on photo-thermal properties, thermal conductivities and rheological behavior were investigated. The results show that CNTs with oxidation treatment exhibited good dis- persing performance. Strong optical absorption of the CNTs glycol nanofluids was detected in the range of 200-2500 nm. At room temperature, 18% enhancement was found in the photo-thermal conversion efficiency of the 0.5% mass fraction CNTs glycol nanofluids in comparison to the basic fluids, without significant increase in viscosity. 7Early diagenetic growth of carbonate concretions in the upper Doushantuo Formation in South China and their significance for the assessment of hydrocarbon source rock显示文摘Mineralogical and textural characteristics and organic carbon composition of the carbonate concretions from the upper Doushantuo Formation (ca. 551 Ma) in the eastern Yangtze Gorge area reveal their early diagenetic (shallow) growth in organic-rich shale. High organic carbon content (up to 10%) and abundance of framboidal pyrites in the hosting shale suggest an anoxic or euxinic depositional environment. Well-preserved cardhouse clay fabrics in the concretions suggest their formation at 0-3 m burial depth, likely associated with microbial decomposition of organic matter and anaerobic oxidation of methane. Gases through decomposition of organic matter and/or from methanogenesis created bubbles and cavities, and anaerobic methane oxidation at the sulfate reduction zone resulted in carbonate precipitation, filling in bubbles and cavities to form spherical structures of the concretions. Rock pyrolysis analyses show that the carbonate concretions have lower total organic carbon (TOC) content but higher effective carbon than those in the host rocks. This may be caused by enclosed organic matter in pores of the concretions so that organic matter was protected from further modification during deep burial and maintained high hydrocarbon generating potential even in over-matured source rock. 8Incorporation of silica nanoparticles to PLGA electrospun fibers for osteogenic differentiation of human osteoblast-like cells显示文摘The development of bone tissue engineering scaffolds still remains a challenging field,although various biomaterials have been developed for this purpose.Electrospinning is a promising approach to fabricate nanofibers with an interconnected porous structure,which can support cell adhesion,guide cell proliferation and regulate cell differentiation.The aim of this study is to fabricate composite fibers composed of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)and silica nanoparticles(NPs)via electrospinning and investigate the effect of PLGA/SiO_(2)composite fibers on the cellular response of osteoblast-like cells(SaOS-2 cells).SEM and EDX analysis showed that silica NPs were homogenously dispersed in the composite fibers.The mechanical behavior of the fibers showed that silica NPs acted as reinforcements at concentrations of 2.5 and 5 mg/ml.The incorporation of silica NPs led to enhancement of cell attachment and spreading on PLGA/SiO_(2)composite fibers.SaOS-2 cells cultured on PLGA/SiO_(2)composite fibers exhibited increased alkaline phosphatase activity,collagen secretion and bone nodules formation.The bone nodules formation of SaOS-2 cells increased along with the amount of incorporated silica NPs.The present findings indicate that PLGA/SiO_(2)composite fibers can stimulate osteogenic differentiation of SaOS-2 cells and may be a promising candidate scaffold for bone tissue engineering.Xing Yang Yuanyuan Li Xujie Liu Qianli Huang Ranran Zhang Qingling Feng 2018Regenerative Biomaterials2018,5,4:4
9Non-fragile observer-based passive control for descriptor systems with time-delay显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of non-fragile observer-based passive control for descriptor systems with time-delay. The perturbations in both the control gain and observer gain of the observer-based controller are considered. For the cases of the additive perturbations and multiplicative perturbations, sufficient conditions are given such that the closed-loop systems are admissible and passive with dissipation η. The observer-based controller gains could be obtained from the solutions of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, the maximum dissipation of the system is provided. 10Efficacy of Shoushen granule on adenosine triphosphate binding cassette transporter A1, proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 and toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor kappa-B signaling pathway in ApoE-knockout mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of Shoushen granule, prepared with four Chinese medicinals, on the targeted regulation of adenosine triphosphate binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) through proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9(PCSK9) and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB) signaling pathway to affect atherosclerosis(AS) in ApoE-knockout(ApoE-/-) mice.METHODS: ApoE-/-mice fed with a high-fat diet were used for AS modeling and divided into Model,Shoushen, and Atorvastatin groups. C57 BL/6 J mice at the same age and background strain were included in the Control group. Western blot and immunohistochemistry were used to measure ABCA1, PCSK9, TLR4, and NF-κB protein expression in mouse aortas. Enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay was used to measure mouse serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-10(IL-10), monocyte chemoattractant protein 1(MCP-1), and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) expression. Serum lipid profiles and histopathology were also assessed. Shoushen granule were composed of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori) 15 g, Gouqizi(Fructus Lycii) 15 g, Sheng shanzha(Raw Fructus Crataegus Pinnatifidae) 10 g, and Sanqi(Radix Notoginseng) 3 g.RESULTS: ApoE-/-mice fed with a high-fat diet had notable AS lesions, with reduced ABCA1 and IL-10 levels, elevated PCSK9, TLR4, NF-κB, TNF-α, MCP-1,and ICAM-1 expression, and increased total cholesterol(TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) contents. 11The Significance of CXCR4 Expression for the Prediction of Lymph Node Metastasis in Breast Cancer Patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE The chemokine receptor(CXCR4)CXC chemokine receptor 4)plays an important role in cancer metastasis.We therefore studied differential expression of the CXCR4,as well as that of the biomarker HER2,so as to evaluate whether these biomarkers can be used to predict axillary lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients. METHODS Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate the CXCR4 and HER2 expressions and to examine the paraffin sections of the breast cancers at various stages.Positive lymph node expression was found in 80 of the cases,and in 7 there was negative expression. RESULTS Compared to the cases with negative lymph nodes, there was a high expression of CXCR4(26.3% vs.14.3%,P=0.013), and an over-expression of HER2(28.8% vs.14.3%,P=0.011). Moreover,there was a direct correlation between the CXCR4 and HER2 expressions and the tumor staging(P=0.000)and lymph node metastasis(P=0.032).When the two biomarkers,i.e.CXCR4 and HER2,were concurrently labeled,a high expression of one of the biomarkers could be seen in the cases with positive lymph nodes(51.3% vs.28.6%,P<0.003). 14Bushen Jiangzhi formula reduces atherosclerosis in apoE-/-mice through autophagy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Bushen Jiangzhi formula(BSJZF)on atherosclerosis(AS)in apolipoprotein E knockout(apoE^-/-)mice and the underlying mechanism.METHODS:We used a high fat diet to induce AS in apoE^-/- mice.The mice were randomly divided into four groups:model,BSJZF,atorvastatin,and 3-methyladenine groups.Syngeneic C57BL/6 mice of the same age were used for the control group.Autophagosomes in the aorta were examined by transmission electron microscopy.Morphology,lipid accumulation,and collagen deposition in the aorta were examined by hematoxylin and eosin,Oil Red O,and Masson's staining,respectively.Serum levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interferon gamma(IFN-γ),and interleukin 10(IL-10)were measured by enzyme-linked immunoassays.Protein expression of microtubule-associated protein light chain 3(LC3),Beclin 1,and p62 in the aorta were examined by Western blot analyses.RESULTS:ApoE^-/- mice fed a high fat diet exhibited AS symptoms including less autophagosomes in the aorta,higher serum levels of TNF-α,IFN-γ,and p62,and lower serum levels of IL-10,LC3,and Beclin 1.Treatment with BSJZF significantly reduced the area of the aortic plaque,decreased expression of TNF-α,IFN-γ,and p62,and increased expression of IL-10,LC3,and Beclin 1.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that BSJZF promotes autophagy and reduces inflammation by regulating the expression of autophagy-related proteins LC3,Beclin 1,and p62,thereby effectively treating AS.Cao Hui Jia Qingling Shen Dingzhu Yan Li Chen Chuan Xing Sanli Dou Fangfang 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,4:3
15Calcium carbonate nanoparticles promote osteogenesis compared to adipogenesis in human bone-marrow mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Rhombohedron-like and fusiform calcium carbonate nanoparticles were fabricated using a new method. Their geometry was controlled by varying the mixing speed and ratio of ethanol versus water in reaction system. The calcium carbonate nanoparticles(CCNPs) have slight effect on viability of human bone-marrow mesenchymal stem cells(hBMSCs) with dose-dependent and shape-dependent, but they can significantly promote osteogenic differentiation of hBMSCs in vitro by 10–37% increase of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) activity, 9–36% growth of collagen secretion and 1.13–1.83 folds upregulation of osteogenesis-related genes, even at lower dose ranges(5–20 μg/ml). The efficacity of promoting osteogenesis depends on the shape and dose of CCNPs. Furthermore,adipogenesis was inhibited by less accumulation of lipid droplets, lower triglyceride(TG) secretion and downregulation of adipogenesis-related genes. 16Construction of robust coupling interface between MoS2 and nitrogen doped graphene for high performance sodium ion batteries显示文摘As a layered inorganic material,MoS2 has recently attracted intensive attention as anode for sodium ion batteries(SIBs).However,this anode is plagued with low electronic conductivity,serious volume expansion and sluggish kinetics,resulting in capacity fading and poor rate performance.Herein,we develop an interface engineering strategy to substantially enhance the sodium storage performance of MoS2 by incorporating layered MoS2 into three dimensional N-doped graphene scaffold.The strong coupling-interface between MoS2 and N-doped graphene scaffold can not only stabilize the MoS2 structure during sodium insertion/extraction processes,but also provide plenty of anchor sites for additional surface sodium storage.The 3D MoS2@N-doped graphene composite as anode for SIBs performs an outstanding specific capacity of 667.3 mA h g^-1 at 0.2 A g^-1,a prolonged stability with a capacity retention of 94.4%after 140cycles and excellent rate capability of 445 mA h g^-1 even at a high rate of 10 A g^-1.We combined experiment and theoretical simulation to further disclose the interaction between MoS2 and N-doped graphene,adsorption and diffusion of sodium on the composite and the corresponding sodium storage mechanism.This study opens a new door to develop high performance SIBs by introducing the interface engineering technique.Yun Qiao Jiawei Wu Xiaoguang Cheng Yudong Pang Zhansheng Lu Xiangdong Lou Qingling Li Jin Zhao Shuting Yang Yang Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9:3

18Robust Iterated Sigma Point FastSLAM Algorithm for Mobile Robot Simultaneous Localization and Mapping显示文摘Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is a key technology for mobile robots operating under unknown environment. While FastSLAM algorithm is a popular solution to the SLAM problem, it suffers from two major drawbacks: one is particle set degeneracy due to lack of observation information in proposal distribution design of the particle filter; the other is errors accumulation caused by linearization of the nonlinear robot motion model and the nonlinear environment observation model. For the purpose of overcoming the above problems, a new iterated sigma point FastSLAM (ISP-FastSLAM) algorithm is proposed. The main contribution of the algorithm lies in the utilization of iterated sigma point Kalman filter (ISPKF), which minimizes statistical linearization error through Gaussian-Newton iteration, to design an optimal proposal distribution of the particle filter and to estimate the environment landmarks. On the basis of Rao-Blackwellized particle filter, the proposed ISP-FastSLAM algorithm is comprised by two main parts: in the first part, an iterated sigma point particle filter (ISPPF) to localize the robot is proposed, in which the proposal distribution is accurately estimated by the ISPKF; in the second part, a set of ISPKFs is used to estimate the environment landmarks. The simulation test of the proposed ISP-FastSLAM algorithm compared with FastSLAM2.0 algorithm and Unscented FastSLAM algorithm is carried out, and the performances of the three algorithms are compared. The simulation and comparing results show that the proposed ISP-FastSLAM outperforms other two algorithms both in accuracy and in robustness. 19Throttle characteristics of multi-stage circumfluence nozzle during the separate-layer injection of CO_(2)显示文摘Separate-layer injection of CO2 is an important method to improve oil and gas production and recovery.Conventional single-stage nozzle is usually blocked by impurities,and the ice-barrier phenomenon is very common.To solve this problem,large-diameter multi-stage circumfluence nozzle was designed to release pressure stage by stage.In order to illuminate the throttle characteristics of the CO2 multi-stage circumfluence nozzles,numerical simulation was performed to test several nozzles with different diameters and stage numbers.Furthermore,we tested the throttle characteristics through laboratory experiments and obtained the effects of several critical parameters such as nozzle diameter,number of stage and pressure drop on the throttle characteristics.The results show that the flow rate decreases as the nozzle stage increases on the condition of constant pressure and nozzle diameter.And pressure difference increases as nozzle stage number increases under the constant flow rate.The throttle capability of multi-stage circumfluence nozzles was much better than the concentric nozzles.Large-diameter multi-stage nozzle is recommended rather than small-diameter single-stage nozzle during the process of separate-layer injection,which can efficiently prevent impurities and ice blocking.The results are expected to provide a theoretical support for the nozzle choice of separate-layer injection of CO2.Haizhu Wang Gensheng Li Lichuan Zhao Youwen Wang Yun Liu Qingling Liu Meng Wang Fei Gao Meng Cai 2018Petroleum2018,4,2:2
