1Triboelectric–Electromagnetic Hybrid Generator for Harvesting Blue Energy显示文摘Progress has been developed in harvesting lowfrequency and irregular blue energy using a triboelectric–electromagnetic hybrid generator in recent years. However,the design of the high-efficiency, mechanically durable hybrid structure is still challenging. In this study, we report a fully packaged triboelectric–electromagnetic hybrid generator(TEHG), in which magnets were utilized as the trigger to drive contact–separation-mode triboelectric nanogenerators(CS-TENGs) and coupled with copper coils to operate rotary freestanding-mode electromagnetic generators(RF-EMGs). The magnet pairs that produce attraction were used to transfer the external mechanical energy to the CS-TENGs, and packaging of the CS-TENGpart was achieved to protect it from the ambient environment. Under a rotatory speed of 100 rpm, the CS-TENGs enabled the TEHG to deliver an output voltage, current,and average power of 315.8 V, 44.6 μA, and ~ 90.7 μW,and the output of the RF-EMGs was 0.59 V, 1.78 m A, and 79.6 μW, respectively. The cylinder-like structure made the TEHG more easily driven by water flow and demonstrated to work as a practical power source to charge commercial capacitors. 2High-efficiency second-order nonlinear processes in an optical microfibre assisted by few-layer GaSe显示文摘The centrosymmetric nature of silica fibre precludes the realisation of second-order nonlinear processes in optical fibre systems.Recently,the integration of 2D materials with optical fibres has opened up a great opportunity to develop allfibre active devices.Here,we demonstrate high-efficiency second-order nonlinear frequency conversions in an optical microfibre assisted with few-layer gallium selenide(GaSe)nanoflakes.Attributed to the strong evanescent field of the microfibre and ultrahigh second-order nonlinearity of the GaSe nanoflakes,second harmonic generation(SHG)and sum-frequency generation(SFG)are effectively achieved with only sub-milliwatt continuous-wave(CW)lasers in the wavelength range of 1500–1620 nm,covering the C and L telecom bands.The SHG intensity from the microfibre is enhanced by more than four orders of magnitude with the assistance of the GaSe nanoflakes on fibre nonlinear processes.Moreover,in the SFG process,the intensity transfer between different frequencies can be effectively manipulated by changing the wavelengths and powers of two pump lasers.The realised strong second-order nonlinearity in the GaSe-integrated microfibre might expand the applications of all-fibre devices in all-optical signal processing and new light source generation at awkward wavelengths.Biqiang Jiang Zhen Hao Yafei Ji Yueguo Hou Ruixuan Yi Dong Mao Xuetao Gan Jianlin Zhao 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:4
3Second harmonic generation in a hollow-core fiber filled with GaSe nanosheets显示文摘Frequency conversions using various all-fiber nonlinear devices can benefit many applications,including communications,sensing,microscope,and imaging.In this study,we report in-fiber second harmonic generation(SHG)in an optical hollow-core fiber(HCF)that can be used for frequency conversion.The HCF filled with a dispersion of gallium selenide(GaSe)nanosheets in the ultraviolet-cured optical adhesive supports a well-propagating mode in the fiber core,which enables effective light interaction with dispersed GaSe nanosheets and a strong SHG process.Based on theoretical analysis,the optimal HCF length for maximizing SHG is approximately 0.41 mm.The broadband SHG of the GaSe-filled HCF device is demonstrated by tuning the pump wavelength from 1460 to 1600 nm.Moreover,a time-varied SHG in the device is revealed due to additional second-order susceptibility induced by the polarization of silica.The proposed device with a compact and robust structure has the potential to be connected to existing all-fiber telecom and sensing systems for numerous nonlinear engineering applications.Zhen HAO Yuxin MA Biqiang JIANG Yueguo HOU Ailun LI Ruixuan YI Xuetao GAN Jianlin ZHAO 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,6:2
4Surface Coordination Decouples Hydrogenation Catalysis on Supported Metal Catalysts显示文摘Supported metal catalysts integrating advantages of catalytic hydrogenation and stoichiometric reduction are highly desirable for the green production of fine chemicals.Decoupling catalytic hydrogenation into H_(2)activation and selective reduction taking place at different locations is expected to provide an effective strategy to fabricate such catalyst systems.Herein,we report a decoupled hydrogenation system by modifying Pt catalysts supported on reducible In2O3 with ethylenediamine(EDA).The system exhibits good catalytic performance in oximes production from nitroalkanes,an industrially important reaction,by employing H_(2).Systematic studies demonstrate that the surface coordination of EDA on Pt is crucial to passivate the Pt surface from nitro hydrogenation without inhibiting H_(2)activation.The activated H_(2)species can then transfer and reduce the In_(2)O_(3)support in situ to generate sustainable stoichiometric reducing agents for the chemoselective reduction of nitroalkanes.Based upon the mechanistic understanding,a sustainable strategy for the production of oximes has been successfully fabricated.Qingyuan Wu Wenting Zhou Hui Shen Ruixuan Qin Qiming Hong Xiaodong Yi Nanfeng Zheng 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,5:0
5Broadband and continuous wave pumped second-harmonic generation from microfiber coated with layered GaSe crystal显示文摘The conversion-efficiency for second-harmonic(SH)in optical fibers is significantly limited by extremely weak second-order nonlinearity of fused silica,and pulse pump lasers with high peak power are widely employed.Here,we propose a simple strategy to efficiently realize the broadband and continuous wave(CW)pumped SH,by transferring a crystalline GaSe coating onto a microfiber with phase-matching diameter.In the experiment,high efficiency up to 0.08%W-1mm-1 is reached for a C-band pump laser.The high enough efficiency not only guarantees SH at a single frequency pumped by a CW laser,but also multi-frequencies mixing supported by three CW light sources.Moreover,broadband SH spectrum is also achieved under the pump of a superluminescent light-emitting diode source with a 79.3 nm bandwidth.The proposed scheme provides a beneficial method to the enhancement of various nonlinear parameter processes,development of quasi-monochromatic or broadband CW light sources at new wavelength regions.Zhen Hao Biqiang Jiang Yuxin Ma Ruixuan Yi Xuetao Gan Jianlin Zhao 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,9:0
6Self-frequency-conversion nanowire lasers显示文摘Semiconductor nanowires(NWs)could simultaneously provide gain medium and optical cavity for performing nanoscale lasers with easy integration,ultracompact footprint,and low energy consumption.Here,we report Ⅲ-Ⅴsemiconductor NW lasers can also be used for self-frequency conversion to extend their output wavelengths,as a result of their non-centrosymmetric crystal structure and strongly localized optical field in the NWs.From a GaAs/In0.16Ga0.84As core/shell NW lasing at 1016 nm,an extra visible laser output at 508 nm is obtained via the process of second-harmonic generation,as confirmed by the far-field polarization dependence measurements and numerical modeling.From another NW laser with a larger diameter which supports multiple fundamental lasing wavelengths,multiple self-frequency-conversion lasing modes are observed due to second-harmonic generation and sum-frequency generation.The demonstrated self-frequency conversion of NW lasers opens an avenue for extending the working wavelengths of nanoscale lasers,even to the deep ultraviolet and THz range.Ruixuan Yi Xutao Zhang Chen Li Bijun Zhao Jing Wang Zhiwen Li Xuetao Gan Li Li Ziyuan Li Fanlu Zhang Liang Fang Naiyin Wang Pingping Chen Wei Lu Lan Fu Jianlin Zhao Hark Hoe Tan Chennupati Jagadish 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,6:0
7A Novel Web Query Automatic Expansion Based on Rough Set显示文摘One of important reasons caused low precision was presented, which was due to inaccurate express of the query. So a new method of automatic query expansion based on tolerance rough was put forward. In the algorithm, the uncertain connection between query terms and retrial documents was described as term tolerance class. The upper approximation set of query sentence was considered as query expansion. The new additional terms were also given weight numbers.
