| 1 | Enhanced production of seed oil with improved fatty acid composition by overexpressing NAD^(+)-dependent glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase in soybean显示文摘There is growing interest in expanding the production of soybean oils(mainly triacylglycerol, or TAG) to meet rising feed demand and address global energy concerns. We report that a plastidlocalized glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GPDH), encoded by GmGPDHp1 gene, catalyzes the formation of glycerol-3-phosphate(G3 P), an obligate substrate required for TAG biosynthesis.Overexpression of GmGPDHp1 increases soybean seed oil content with high levels of unsaturated fatty acids(FAs), especially oleic acid(C18:1), without detectably affecting growth or seed protein content or seed weight. Based on the lipidomic analyses, we found that the increase in G3 P content led to an elevated diacylglycerol(DAG) pool, in which the Kennedy pathwayderived DAG was mostly increased, followed by PC-derived DAG, thereby promoting the synthesis of TAG containing relatively high proportion of C18:1. The increased G3 P levels induced several transcriptional alterations of genes involved in the glycerolipid pathways. In particular, genes encoding the enzymes responsible for de novo glycerolipid synthesis were largely upregulated in the transgenic lines, in-line with the identified biochemical phenotype. These results reveal a key role for GmGPDHp1-mediated G3 P metabolism in enhancing TAG synthesis and demonstrate a strategy to modify the FA compositions of soybean oils for improved nutrition and biofuel. | Ying Zhao Pan Cao Yifan Cui Dongxu Liu Jiapeng Li Yabin Zhao Siqi Yang Bo Zhang Runnan Zhou Minghao Sun Xuetian Guo Mingliang Yang Dawei Xin Zhanguo Zhang Xin Li Chen Lv Chunyan Liu Zhaoming Qi Jingyu Xu Xiaoxia Wu Qingshan Chen | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,6: | 4 |
| 2 | Security Constrained Decentralized Peer-to-Peer Transactive Energy Trading in Distribution Systems显示文摘Peer-to-peer(P2P)transactive energy trading offers a promising solution for facilitating the efficient and secure operation of a distribution system consisting of multiple prosumers. One critical but challenging task is how to avoid system network constraints to be violated for the distribution system integrated with extensive P2P transactive energy trades. This paper proposes a security constrained decentralized P2P transactive energy trading framework, which allows direct energy trades among neighboring prosumers in the distribution system with enhanced system efficiency and security in which no conventional intermediary is required. The P2P transactive energy trading problem is formulated based on the Nash Bargaining theory and decomposed into two subproblems,i.e.,an OPF problem(P1)and a payment bargaining problem(P2).A distributed optimization method based on the alternating direction method of multiplier(ADMM)is adopted as a privacy-preserving solution to the formulated security constrained P2P transactive energy trading model with ensured accuracy.Extensive case studies based on a modified 33-bus distribution system are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed security constrained decentralized P2P transactive energy trading framework in terms of efficiency improvement, loss reduction, and voltage security enhancement. | Lingling Wang Quan Zhou Zhan Xiong Zean Zhu Chuanwen Jiang Runnan Xu Zuyi Li | 2022 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,1: | 2 |

| 4 | Ternary blend strategy in benzotriazole-based organic photovoltaics for indoor application显示文摘Organic photovoltaics(OPVs)suitable for application in indoor lighting environments can power a wide range of internet of things(Io T)related electronic devices. The ternary structure has huge advantages in improving the photovoltaic performance of OPVs,including broadening the light absorption, improving the charge transport, manipulating the energy loss(E_(loss))and so on.Herein,we use wide-bandgap photo-active materials, including the benzotriazole-based polymer donor(J52-F),chlorinated polymer donor(PM7)and A_(2)-A_1-D-A_1-A_(2)-structured acceptor(BTA3),to construct ternary OPVs for indoor light applications.Benefitting from the introduction of PM7 as the third component in J52-F:BTA3-based blend,a gratifying PCE of 20.04%with a high V_(OC)of 1.00 V can be obtained under the test conditions with an illumination of 300 lx from an LED lighting source with a color temperature of 3000 K.The excellent device performance is inseparable from the matched spectrum, enhanced light absorption and the reduced E_(loss),while the improved charge transport capability and suppression of carrier recombination also play an indelible role. Our work shows a potential material system to meet the requirement of devices applied under indoor light. Moreover, these findings demonstrate that designing multi-component OPVs is indeed a feasible way to further improve the performances of the photovoltaic energy conversion system for indoor applications. | Yinglong Bai Runnan Yu Yiming Bai Erjun Zhou Tasawar Hayat Ahmed Alsaedi Zhan'ao Tan | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Genome-wide analysis of soybean DnaJA-family genes and functional characterization of GmDnaJA6 responses to saline and alkaline stress显示文摘Plant Dna JA proteins act as molecular chaperones in response to environmental stressors. The purpose of this study was to characterize the function and regulatory mechanisms of Dna JA genes in soybean.Gene expression profiles in various soybean tissues at various stages of development indicated that Gm Dna JAs function in the coordination of stress and plant hormone responses.Gm Dna JA6 was identified as a candidate regulator of saline and alkaline stress resistance and Gm Dna JA6 overexpression lines showed increased soybean saline and alkaline tolerance.Dna J interacted with Hsp70,and Gm Hsp70 increased the saline and alkaline tolerance of plants with chimeric soybean hairy roots. | Binshuo Zhang Zhen Liu Runnan Zhou Peng Cheng Haibo Li Zhiyang Wang Ying Liu Mingyang Li Zhenqing Zhao Zhenbang Hu Qingshan Chen Xiaoxia Wu Ying Zhao | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,4: | 0 |
