| 1 | High-sum-rate beamformers for multi-pair two-way relay networks with amplify-and-forward relaying strategy显示文摘In multi-pair two-way relay networks,the control over inter-pair-interference is a challenging problem.When mobile stations(MSs)cooperate fully,to achieve the sum capacity of networks and at the same time completely remove the inter-pair-interference,a singular value decomposition(SVD)based beamforming scheme at relay station(RS)is established where SVD beamformers are applied over both uplink and downlink channels,respectively.To avoid any cooperation among users,an efcient beamforming scheme is proposed.This scheme uses the Max-SINR based receive beamformer at RS in uplink channel and the Max-SLNR based transmit precoder at RS in downlink channel.It omits interference(uplink)and leakage(donwlink)inside each pair of users due to their abilities of self-interference cancellation.This beamforming scheme provides an analytical solution like some well-known linear beamformers such as zero-forcing,block diagonalization,etc.From simulation,we find:the proposed SVD shows an excellent sum-rate performance at the expense of a large cooperation overhead at MSs and can be used as a tighter upper bound of sum-rate;the proposed scheme of Max-SINR beamformer plus Max-SLNR precoder performs much better on sum-rate than the ZF-based and the BD-based schemes by using almost the same computational amount. | SHU Feng LU YaZhe CHEN Yu YOU XiaoHu WANG JianXin WANG Mao SHENG WeiXing CHEN Qian | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,2: | 15 |

| 3 | Olivine-norite rock detected by the lunar rover Yutu-2 likely crystallized from the SPA-impact melt pool显示文摘Chang’E-4 landed in the South Pole-Aitken(SPA)basin,providing a unique chance to probe the composition of the lunar interior.Its landing site is located on ejecta strips in Von Karm´an crater that´possibly originate from the neighboring Finsen crater.A surface rock and the lunar regolith at 10 sites along the rover Yutu-2 track were measured by the onboard Visible and Near-Infrared Imaging Spectrometer in the first three lunar days of mission operations.In situ spectra of the regolith have peak band positions at 1 and 2μm,similar to the spectral data of Finsen ejecta from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper,which confirms that the regolith’s composition of the landing area is mostly similar to that of Finsen ejecta.The rock spectrum shows similar band peak positions,but stronger absorptions,suggesting relatively fresh exposure.The rock may consist of 38.1±5.4%low-Ca pyroxene,13.9±5.1%olivine and 48.0±3.1%plagioclase,referred to as olivine-norite.The plagioclase-abundant and olivine-poor modal composition of the rock is inconsistent with the origin of the mantle,but representative of the lunar lower crust.Alternatively,the rock crystallized from the impact-derived melt pool formed by the SPA-impact event via mixing the lunar crust and mantle materials.This scenario is consistent with fast-cooling thermal conditions of a shallow melt pool,indicated by the fine to medium-sized texture(<3 mm)of the rock and the SPA-impact melting model[Icarus 2012;220:730–43]. | Honglei Lin Zhiping He Wei Yang Yangting Lin Rui Xu Chi Zhang Meng-Hua Zhu Rui Chang Jinhai Zhang Chunlai Li Hongyu Lin Yang Liu Sheng Gou Yong Wei Sen Hu Changbin Xue Jianfeng Yang Jie Zhong Xiaohui Fu Weixing Wan Yongliao Zou | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,5: | 9 |

| 6 | Shaped-Beam Pattern Synthesis Through the Construction of Weighted Generalized Rayleigh Quotient显示文摘A novel shaped-beam pattern synthesis method of generating an arbitrary footprint pattern under an arbitrary array structure is proposed. The embedded element pattern information is included in the pattern model, and a new cost function composed of three optimization items which are sidelobe levels,mainlobe ripples and mainlobe gains is constructed through the model. During the optimization process,to further enhance the performance of the synthesized pattern, a weight matrix is designed and added to the optimization items, then the generalized Rayleigh quotient approximation method is used to obtain the final array element excitations. To illustrate the good performance of the provided method, several synthesis examples with different arrays and footprints are presented. | 12 | Adaptive monopulse beamforming with partial parallel structure显示文摘A new recursive algorithm with the partial parallel structure based on the linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV) criterion for adaptive monopulse systems is proposed. The weight vector associated with the original whole antenna array is decomposed into several adaptive weight sub-vectors firstly. An adaptive algorithm based on the conventional LCMV principle is then deduced to update the weight sub-vectors for sum and difference beam, respectively. The optimal weight vector can be obtained after convergence. The required computational complexity is evaluated for the proposed technique, which is on the order of O(N) and less than that of the conventional LCMV method. The flow chart scheme with the partial parallel structure of the proposed algorithm is introduced. This scheme is easy to be implemented on a distributed computer/digital signal processor (DSP) system to solve the problems of the heavy computational burden and vast data transmission of the large-scale adaptive monopulse array. Then, the monopulse ratio and convergence rate of the proposed algorithm are evaluated by numerical simulations. | 18 | Efficient parallel adaptive array beamforming algorithm显示文摘For a large-scale adaptive array, the heavy computational load and the high-rate data transmission are two challenges in the implementation of an adaptive digital beamforming system. An efficient parallel digital beamforming (DBF) algorithm based on the least mean square algorithm (PLMS) is proposed. An appropriate method is found to partition the least mean square (LMS) algorithm into a number of operational modules, which can be easily executed in a distributed-parallel-processing fashion. As a result, the proposed PLMS algorithm provides an effective solution that can alleviate the bottleneck of high-rate data transmission and reduce the computational cost. PLMS requires less computational load than that of the conventional parallel algorithms based on the recursive least square (RLS) algorithm, as well as it is easier to be implemented to do real time adaptive array processing. Moreover, low sidelobe of the beam pattern is obtained by constraining the static steering vector with Tschebyscheff coefficients. Finally, a scheme of the PLMS algorithm using distributed-parallel-processing system is also proposed. The simulation results demonstrate that the PLMS algorithm has the same interference cancellation performance as that of the conventional LMS algorithm. Moreover, the PLMS algorithm can obtain the same good beamforming performance, regardless how the algorithm is partitioned. | 20 | Signal recovery method based on co-prime array显示文摘A signal waveform recovery method based on the coprime array is investigated to extract the waveform of the desired signal from spatial interferences in narrowband scenarios. The direction of arrivals(DOAs) of the desired signal and interference signals are estimated with the compressive sensing approach based on angle grids, and the signal power together with the noise power are estimated. Thereafter, a modified steepest descent(SD) method is derived to recover the waveform of the desired signal and interferences utilizing the estimated power and directions. The recovered waveform of the desired signal is the output of the proposed method. The situation in which the signals are not on the predefined angle grids is also considered. The DOAs estimated via the predefined angle grids are corrected based on the maximum likelihood(ML) angle estimation. Compared to the existing beamforming methods on co-prime array, the proposed method can obtain the waveform of the desired signal.
