| 1 | Experimental Investigation of Immiscible Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Foam Rheology for Improved Oil Recovery显示文摘This paper presents the rheological behaviour of supercritical CO_2(s CO_2) foam at reservoir conditions of 1 500 psi and 80 °C. Different commercial surfactants were screened and utilized in order to generate a fairly stable CO_2 foam. Mixed surfactant system was also introduced to generate strong foam. Foam rheology was studied for some specific foam qualities using a high pressure high temperature(HPHT) foam loop rheometer. A typical shear thinning behaviour of the foam was observed and a significant increase in the foam viscosity was noticed with the increase of foam quality until 85%. A desired high apparent viscosity with coarse texture was found at 85% foam quality. Foam visualization above 85% showed an unstable foam due to extremely thin lamella which collapsed and totally disappeared in the loop rheometer. Below 5_2%, a non-homogenous and unstable foam was found having low viscosity with some liquid accumulation at the bottom of the circulation loop. | 3 | 超微粉碎对藕节膳食纤维理化性质的影响显示文摘目的研究超微粉碎对藕节理化性质的影响,增强其膳食纤维的生理功能,提高可溶性膳食纤维含量。方法在不同研磨条件下,采用激光粒度法测定其粒度,采用化学法测定持水性、持油性、溶胀性,酶重法测定可溶性膳食纤维含量。结果超微粉碎可显著减小物料粒径。随着粒度的减小,持油性、持水性、溶胀性及可溶性膳食纤维含量呈上升趋势。当研磨条件为研磨时间12 h、介质物料比8%、转速300 r/min时,粒度显著减小至15.3μm(P<0.05)。在此条件下,藕节膳食纤维持油性、持水性、溶胀性分别为2.23 g/g、3.62 g/g、5.97 mL/g。可溶性膳食纤维含量从3.55%显著提高至11.20%(P<0.05),比未超微粉碎提高了2.16倍。结论超微粉碎能有效降低藕节膳食纤维粒度,显著增加可溶性膳食纤维含量,并赋予其优良的理化性质,为藕节渣综合利用提供相关依据。 | 金文筠 Hussain Shehzad 严守雷 王清章 李洁 | 2015 | 食品安全质量检测学报2015,6,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Engineering Leaf-Like UiO-66-SO3H Membranes for Selective Transport of Cations显示文摘Metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)with angstrom-sized pores are promising functional nanomaterials for the fabrication of cation permselective membranes(MOF-CPMs).However,only a few research reports show successful preparation of the MOF-CPMs with good cation separation performance due to several inherent problems in MOFs,such as arduous selfassembly,poor water resistance,and tedious fabrication strategies.Besides,low cation permeation flux due to the absence of the cation permeation assisting functionalities in MOFs is another big issue,which limits their widespread use in membrane technology.Therefore,it is necessary to fabricate functional MOF-CPMs using simplistic strategies to improve cation permeation.In this context,we report a facile in situ smart growth strategy to successfully produce ultrathin(<600 nm)and leaflike UiO-66-SO3H membranes at the surface of anodic alumina oxide.The physicochemical characterizations confirm that sulfonated angstrom-sized ion transport channels exist in the as-prepared UiO-66-SO3H membranes,which accelerate the cation permeation(~3×faster than non-functionalized UiO-66 membrane)and achieve a high ion selectivity(Na^+/Mg^2+>140).The outstanding cation separation performance validates the importance of introducing sulfonic acid groups in MOF-CPMs. | Tingting Xu Muhammad Aamir Shehzad Xin Wang Bin Wu Liang Ge Tongwen Xu | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,4: | 3 |
| 5 | Forest Cover Change Assessment in Conflict-affected Areas of Northwest Pakistan: the Case of Swat and Shangla Districts显示文摘This study examines the spatial and temporal forest cover changes in Swat and Shangla districts to understand the deforestation pattern in context of the recent security conflict in these districts. We used multi-resolution satellite images to assess the long term deforestation from 2001 to 2009 and also to identify episodic forest cutting areas appeared during the conflict period of Oct. 2007 - Oct. 2008. There are only 58 ha of deforestation identified during the conflict period while 1268 ha of gross annual deforestation were assessed during last eight years. Most of the deforestation patches persist around the administrative boundaries at sub-district levels (tehsils) which can be attributed to ambiguity in unclear jurisdiction between the forest official. The results highlight that the forest cutting appeared in Swat and Shangla during the conflict period is not as significant when compared with the long term deforestation pattern in the area. On the one side the results of the study are supportive to the picture that emerges from international studies which report high rate of deforestation in the country and on the other side it negates any relation between the security situation and the increasing deforestation in the north western Pakistan. | 8 | Deforestation Trends and Spatial Modelling of its Drivers in the Dry Temperate Forests of Northern Pakistan–A Case Study of Chitral显示文摘Deforestation is a major environmental challenge in the mountain areas of Pakistan. The study assessed trends in the forest cover in Chitral tehsil over the last two decades using supervised land cover classification of Landsat TM satellite images from 1992, 2000, and 2009, with a maximum likelihood algorithm. In 2009, the forest cover was 10.3% of the land area of Chitral(60,000 ha). The deforestation rate increased from 0.14% per annum in 1992–2000 to 0.54% per annum in 2000–2009, with 3,759 ha forest lost over the 17 years. The spatial drivers of deforestation were investigated using a cellular automaton modelling technique to project future forest conditions. Accessibility(elevation, slope), population density, distance to settlements, and distance to administrative boundary were strongly associated with neighbourhood deforestation. A model projection showed a further loss of 23% of existing forest in Chitral tehsil by 2030, and degradation of 8%, if deforestation continues at the present rate. Arandu Union Council, with 2212 households, will lose 85% of its forest. Local communities have limited income resources and high poverty and are heavily dependent on non-timber forest products for their livelihoods. | 9 | Slip flow of Maxwell viscoelasticity-based micropolar nanoparticles with porous medium: a numerical study显示文摘This article presents the mass and heat transport aspects in viscoelastic nanofluid flows under the presence of velocity slip conditions. To explore the nonNewtonian behavior, a Maxwell viscoelasticity-based micropolar is considered. Moreover, a porous medium saturates the stretching sheet. A set of similarity variables is introduced to derive the dimensionless ordinary differential equations of velocity, concentration, and temperature profiles. The numerical solution is computed by using the MATLAB bvp4c package. The salient flow features of velocity, concentration, and temperature profiles are described and discussed through various graphs. It is observed that with an increase in the slip parameter, the micro-rotation velocity also increases. The temperature of nanoparticles gets maximum values by varying the viscoelastic parameter and the porosity parameter while an opposite trend is noted for the micro-rotation parameter. The local Nusselt number and the local Sherwood number increase by increasing the viscoelastic parameter, the porosity parameter, and the slip velocity parameter. The graphical computation is performed for a specified range of parameters, such as 0 ≤ M ≤ 2.5, 0 ≤σm ≤ 2.5, 0 ≤ K1 ≤ 1.5, 0.5 ≤ Pr ≤ 3.0, 0 ≤σ≤ 1.5, 0.5 ≤ Sc ≤ 2.0, 0.2 ≤ Nb ≤ 0.8, and 0.2 ≤ Nt ≤ 0.8. | H.
