Tolerance to low phosphorus in rice varieties is conferred by regulation of root growth显示文摘Phosphorus use efficiency(PUE)can be improved through cultivation techniques and breeding. However, little is known about rice(Oryza sativa L.)agronomic and physiological traits associated with high PUE.We characterized the agronomic and physiological traits of rice varieties with different tolerances to low phosphorus in nutrient solution. Two varieties with strong tolerance to low phosphorus(STVs)and two with weak tolerance(WTVs)were grown at normal(NP,control)and low phosphorus(LP,1/20 of NP)concentrations.Plants grown at LP produced significantly lower grain yield than those grown at NP.WTVs yields were lower than STVs yields.Compared to NP,LP significantly increased phosphorus translocation efficiency(PTE),internal phosphorus efficiency(IPE)and phosphorus harvest index(PHI).Under the LP condition,PTE and IPE were higher for STVs than for WTVs.LP also reduced tiller number, shoot biomass, leaf area index(LAI),leaf photosynthetic rate, and mean root diameter of both kinds of varieties at the main growth stages, but to a lower extent in STVs.LP significantly increased the number of productive tillers, root biomass,root-shoot ratio, root bleeding rate, and root acid phosphatase(RAP)activity.Total root length, root oxidation activity(ROA),and root total and active absorbing surface areas for STVs were significantly increased under LP,whereas the opposite responses were observed for WTVs.Total root length,ROA,root bleeding rate, root active absorbing surface area, and RAP activity were positively and significantly correlated with grain yield,PTE,and IPE.These results suggest that the tolerance of rice varieties to a low-phosphorus growth condition is closely associated with root growth with higher biomass and activity.Yaping Deng Chuanbao Men Shengfeng Qiao Wenjie Wang Junfei Gu Lijun Liu Zujian Zhang Hao Zhang Zhiqin Wang Jianchang Yang 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,4:8
A review of real-time multi-GNSS precise orbit determination based on the filter method显示文摘Stable and reliable high-precision satellite orbit products are the prerequisites for the positioning services with high performance. In general, the positioning accuracy depends strongly on the quality of satellite orbit and clock products, especially for absolute positioning modes, such as Precise Point Positioning(PPP).With the development of real-time services,real-time Precise Orbit Determination(POD)is indispensable and mainly includes two methods:the ultra-rapid orbit prediction and the real-time filtering orbit determination. The real-time filtering method has a great potential to obtain more stable and reliable products than the ultra-rapid orbit prediction method and thus has attracted increasing attention in commercial companies and research institutes. However, several key issues should be resolved, including the refinement of satellite dynamic stochastic models, adaptive filtering for irregular satellite motions, rapid convergence, and real-time Ambiguity Resolution(AR).This paper reviews and summarizes the current research progress in real-time filtering POD with a focus on the aforementioned issues. In addition, the real-time filtering orbit determination software developed by our group is introduced, and some of the latest results are evaluated. The Three-Dimensional(3D)real-time orbit accuracy of GPS and Galileo satellites is better than 5 cm with AR.In terms of the convergence time and accuracy of kinematic PPP AR,the better performance of the filter orbit products is validated compared to the ultra-rapid orbit products.Yidong Lou Xiaolei Dai Xiaopeng Gong Chenglong Li Yun Qing Yang Liu Yaquan Peng Shengfeng Gu 2022Satellite Navigation2022,3,3:4
The Progress of IGS Analysis Center at Wuhan University显示文摘As one of the Analysis Centers(AC)of the International GNSS Service(IGS),Wuhan University(WHU)has been contributing to the IGS by providing ultra-rapid as well as rapid orbit and clock solutions for the established GPS and GLONASS since 2012.In the same year, the IGS initiated the Multi-GNSS Experiment(MGEX)to support the analysis of the emerging GNSS systems and prepare the IGS for Multi-GNSS,which includes GPS,GLONASS,the European Galileo system, the Chinese Beidou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),the Japanese Quasi-Zenith Satellite System(QZSS)and the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System(IRNSS/NaVIC).The major products,i.e.,orbits,Earth Orientation Parameters(EOPs),satellite clock as well as attitude have also been provided by WHU since 2012.More recently,WHU has engaged the third reprocessing of IGS for generating the highly accurate station coordinates as inputs for establishment of the International Terrestrial Reference Frame(ITRF)2020 during 2019—2020.This article presents the recent major advancements of the IGS AC at Wuhan University, including precise products,real-time products, bias products, antenna phase center calibration, and the non-linear motion modeling for GNSS Reference Stations.Weiping JIANG Qile ZHAO Min LI Jing GUO Jianghui GENG Zhao LI Shengfeng GU Qiang ZHANG Zhigang HU Na WEI 2023Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2023,6,3:1
Quasi-4-dimension ionospheric modeling and its application in PPP显示文摘Ionospheric delay modeling is not only important for Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)based space weather study and monitoring, but also an efficient tool to speed up the convergence time of Precise Point Positioning(PPP).In this study,a novel model, denoted as Quasi-4-Dimension Ionospheric Modeling(Q4DIM)is proposed for wide-area high precision ionospheric delay correction. In Q4DIM,the Line Of Sight(LOS)ionospheric delays from a GNSS station network are divided into different clusters according to not only the location of latitude and longitude, but also satellite elevation and azimuth. Both Global Ionosphere Map(GIM)and Slant Ionospheric Delay(SID)models that are traditionally used for wide-area and regional ionospheric delay modeling, respectively, can be regarded as the special cases of Q4DIM by defining proper grids in latitude, longitude, elevation, and azimuth.Thus,Q4DIM presents a resilient model that is capable for both wide-area coverage and high precision.Four different sets of clusters are defined to illustrate the properties of Q4DIM based on 200 EUREF Permanent Network(EPN)stations. The results indicate that Q4DIM is compatible with the GIM products. Moreover,it is proved that by inducting the elevation and azimuth angle dependent residuals, the precision of the 2-dimensional GIM-like model,i.e.,Q4DIM 2-Dimensional(Q4DIM-2D),is improved from around 1.5 Total Electron Content Units(TECU)to better than 0.5 TECU.In addition, treating Q4DIM as a 4-dimensional matrix in latitude, longitude, elevation, and azimuth, whose sparsity is less than 5%,can result in its feasibility in a bandwidth-sensitive applications,e.g.,satellite-based Precising Point Positioning Real-Time Kinematic(PPP-RTK)service.Finally,the advantages of Q4DIM in PPP over the 2-dimensional models are demonstrated with the one month's data from 30 EPN stations in both high solar activity year 2014 and low solar activity year 2020.Shengfeng Gu Chengkun Gan Chengpeng He Haixia Lyu Manuel Hernandez-Pajares Yidong Lou Jianghui Geng Qile Zhao 2022Satellite Navigation2022,3,3:1
GSTAR:an innovative software platform for processing space geodetic data at the observation level显示文摘To meet the demands for the data combination with multiple space geodetic techniques at the observation level,we developed a new software platform with high extensibility and computation efficiency, named space Geodetic SpatioTemporal data Analysis and Research software(GSTAR).Most of the modules in the GSTAR are coded in C++with object-oriented programming. The layered modular theory is adopted for the design of the software, and the antenna-based data architecture is proposed for users to construct personalized geodetic application scenarios easily. The initial performance of the GSTAR software is evaluated by processing the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)data collected from 315 globally distributed stations over two and a half years. The accuracy of GNSS-based geodetic products is evaluated by comparing them with those released by International GNSS Service(IGS)Analysis Centers(AC).Taking the products released by European Space Agency(ESA)as reference, the Three-Dimension(3D)Root-Mean-Squares(RMS)of the orbit differences are 2.7/6.7/3.3/7.7/21.0 cm and the STandard Deviations(STD)of the clock differences are 19/48/16/32/25 ps for Global Positioning System(GPS),GLObal NAvigation Satellite System(GLONASS),Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo),BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),Medium Earth Orbit(MEO),and BDS Inclined Geo-Synchronous Orbit(IGSO)satellites, respectively. The mean values of the X and Y components of the polar coordinate and the Length of Day(LOD)with respect to the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service(IERS)14 C04 products are-17.6 microarc-second(μas),9.2μas,and 14.0μs/d.Compared to the IGS daily solution, the RMSs of the site position differences in the north/east/up direction are 1.6/1.5/3.9,3.8/2.4/7.6,2.5/2.4/7.9 and 2.7/2.3/7.4 mm for GPS-only,GLONASS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only solution, respectively. The RMSs of the differences of the tropospheric Zenith Path Delay(ZPD),the north gradients, and the east gradients are 5.8,0.9,and 0.9 mm with respect to the IGS products. The X and Y components of the geocenter motion estimated from GPS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only observations well agree with IGS products, while the Z component values are much nosier where anomalous harmonics in GNSS draconitic year can be found. The accuracies of the above products calculated by the GSTAR are comparable with those from different IGS ACs.Compared to the precise scientific orbit products, the 3D RMS of the orbit differences for the two Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment Follow-on(GRACE-FO)satellites is below 1.5 cm by conducting Precise Point Positioning with Ambiguity Resolution(PPP-AR).In addition,a series of rapid data processing algorithms are developed, and the operation speed of the GSTAR software is 5.6 times faster than that of the Positioning and Navigation Data Analyst(PANDA)software for the quad-system precise orbit determination procedure.Chuang Shi Shiwei Guo Lei Fan Shengfeng Gu Xinqi Fang Linghao Zhou Tao Zhang Zhen Li Min Li Wenwen Li Cheng Wang Yidong Lou 2023Satellite Navigation2023,4,3:0
