| 1 | Treatment and outcomes of 1041 pediatric patients with neuroblastoma who received multidisciplinary care in China显示文摘Importance:Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial malignant solid tumor in children.Multidisciplinary care is critical to improving the survival of pediatric patients with neuroblastoma.Objective:To systematically summarize the clinical characteristics of children with neuroblastoma and evaluate their prognosis with multidisciplinary care provided in a single center.Methods:This retrospective study analyzed the clinical data of 1041 patients with neuroblastoma who were diagnosed,treated,and followed-up in the Hematology-Oncology Center of Beijing Children’s Hospital from 2007 to 2019.Results:The median age at diagnosis was 34 months;80.8%of the patients were younger than 5 years of age.Notably,243 patients(23.3%)were classified as low-risk,249 patients(23.9%)were classified as intermediate-risk,and 549(52.7%)were classified as high-risk.Furthermore,956 patients underwent surgical resections;986(94.7%)patients received chemotherapy;and 176 patients with high-risk neuroblastoma received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.The 5-year event-free survival(EFS)rate was 91.3%and 5-year overall survival(OS)rate was 97.5%in low-risk group;in the intermediate-risk group,these rates were 85.1%and 96.7%,respectively,while they were 37.7%and 48.9%in the high-risk group(P<0.001 for both).The 5-year EFS and OS rates were significantly higher in patients diagnosed between 2015 and 2019 than in patients diagnosed between 2007 and 2014(P<0.001).In total,278 patients(26.7%)exhibited tumor relapse or progression;the median interval until relapse or progression was 14 months.Of the 233 patients who died,83%died of relapse or progression of neuroblastoma and 4.3%died of therapy-related complications.Interpretation:The 5-year OS rate was low in high-risk patients,compared with low-and intermediate-risk patients.Multidisciplinary care is critical for improvement of survival in pediatric patients with neuroblastoma.Additional treatment strategies should be sought to improve the prognosis of patients with high-risk neuroblastoma. | Yan Su Hong Qin Chenghao Chen Shengcai Wang Shihan Zhang Dawei Zhang Mei Jin Yun Peng Lejian He Xiaoman Wang Suyun Qian Maoquan Qin Ming Ge Fuquan Zhang Qi Zeng Huanmin Wang Xiaoli Ma Xin Ni | 2020 | Pediatric Investigation2020,4,3: | 16 |
| 2 | Cotton-derived oxygen/sulfur co-doped hard carbon as advanced anode material for potassium-ion batteries显示文摘Hard carbon is regarded as promising anode materials for potassium-ion batteries(KIBs)owing to their low price and easy availability.However,the limited rate capability still needs to be improved.Herein,we demonstrate the fabrication of oxygen/sulfur co-doped hard carbon through a facile hydrolyzationsulfuration process of skimmed cotton.The simultaneous dopants significantly improve potassium ion diffusion rate.When served as the anode for KIBs,this hydrolyzed hard carbon delivered a high reversible capacity(409 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g),superior rate capability(135 mAh/g at 2 A/g)and excellent cyclability(about 120 mAh/g overt 500 cycles at 2 A/g).This work provides a facile strategy to prepare low-cost doped-hard carbon with superior potassium storage property. | Baolin Xu Shihan Qi Fang Li Xiaoxin Peng Jinfeng Cai Jiaojiao Liang Jianmin Ma | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1: | 12 |

| 5 | PRMT1 promotes the proliferation and metastasis of gastric cancer cells by recruiting MLXIP for the transcriptional activation of theβ-catenin pathway显示文摘Protein arginine methyltransferase 1(PRMT1),a type I PRMT,is overexpressed in gastric cancer(GC)cells.To elucidate the function of PRMT1 in GC,PRMT1 expression in HGC-27 and MKN-45 cells was knocked down by short hairpin RNA(shRNA)or inhibited by PRMT1 inhibitors(AMI-1 or DCLX069),which resulted in inhibition of GC cell proliferation,migration,invasion,and tumorigenesis in vitro and in vivo.MLX-interacting protein(MLXIP)and Kinectin 1(KTN1)were identified as PRMT1-binding proteins.PRMT1 recruited MLXIP to the promoter ofβ-catenin,which inducedβ-catenin transcription and activated theβ-catenin signaling pathway,promoting GC cell migration and metastasis.Furthermore,KTN1 inhibited the K48-linked ubiquitination of PRMT1 by decreasing the interaction between TRIM48 and PRMT1.Collectively,our findings reveal a mechanism by which PRMT1 promotes cell proliferation and metastasis mediated by theβ-catenin signaling pathway. | Feng Wang Shitong Chen Shihan Peng Xujun Zhou Houyi Tang Hanghua Liang Xi Zhong He Yang Xiaoxue Ke MuHan Lü Hongjuan Cui | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,6: | 0 |
