| 3 | Xeno-repopulation of Fah^(-/-)Nod/Scid mice livers by human hepatocytes显示文摘Functional human hepatocytes xenografted into the liver of mice can be used as a model system to study pharmacokinetics,infection of hepatitis viruses,and the efficacy of hepatitis vaccines.Significant levels of liver xeno-repopulation have been reported in Fah-/-Rag2-/-Il2rg-/-mice.However,the high mortality and low breeding rate of this model may hinder its application.A new model,termed Fah-/-Nod/Scid mice,which combines the advantages of liver repopulation in Fah-/-mice with the ease of xenotransplantation in Nod/Scid mice was obtained by gradual cross-breeding.Fah-/-Nod/Scid mice were easily maintained in breeding colonies and in adult animal care facilities.FK506 treatment combined with gradual withdrawal of NTBC before cell transplantation ensured that Fah-/-Nod/Scid mice were susceptible to liver xeno-repopulation by human hepatocytes;the proportion of engrafted human hepatocytes reached 33.6%.The function of the expanded human hepatocytes within the chimeric liver was confirmed by weight curve analysis,the expression of characteristic proteins,and the biochemical analysis of liver function.These results show that Fah-/-Nod/Scid mice are an ideal humanized liver mouse model with many useful applications. | SU BaoLiang LIU ChangCheng XIANG Dao ZHANG HaiBin YUAN SiMing WANG MinJun CHEN Fei ZHU HaiYing HE ZhiYing WANG Xin HU YiPing | 2011 | Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,3: | 5 |

| 6 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. Ln3-xEuxS4 powders were synthesized by the sulfurization of their oxide powders using carbon disulfide gas. Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics were sintered by pressure-less sintering method. All pressureless sintered Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics crystallized in γ-phase. It was found that Eu substitution could improve the density of Ln3-xEuxS4 ceramics. | 9 | Baseline radiologic features as predictors of efficacy in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases receiving surufatinib显示文摘Objective:Currently,pre-treatment prediction of patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors with liver metastases(PNELM)receiving surufatinib treatment was unsatisfying.Our objective was to examine the association between radiological characteristics and efficacy/prognosis.Methods:We enrolled patients with liver metastases in the phase III,SANET-p trial(NCT02589821)and obtained contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CECT)images.Qualitative and quantitative parameters including hepatic tumor margins,lesion volumes,enhancement pattern,localization types,and enhancement ratios were evaluated.The progression-free survival(PFS)and hazard ratio(HR)were calculated using Cox’s proportional hazard model.Efficacy was analyzed by logistic-regression models.Results:Among 152 patients who had baseline CECT assessments and were included in this analysis,the surufatinib group showed statistically superior efficacy in terms of median PFS compared to placebo across various qualitative and quantitative parameters.In the multivariable analysis of patients receiving surufatinib(N=100),those with higher arterial phase standardized enhancement ratio-peri-lesion(ASER-peri)exhibited longer PFS[HR=0.039;95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.003−0.483;P=0.012].Furthermore,patients with a high enhancement pattern experienced an improvement in the objective response ratio[31.3%vs.14.7%,odds ratio(OR)=3.488;95%CI:1.024−11.875;P=0.046],and well-defined tumor margins were associated with a higher disease control rate(DCR)(89.3%vs.68.2%,OR=4.535;95%CI:1.285−16.011;P=0.019)compared to poorlydefined margins.Conclusions:These pre-treatment radiological features,namely high ASER-peri,high enhancement pattern,and well-defined tumor margins,have the potential to serve as predictive markers of efficacy in patients with PNELM receiving surufatinib. | Jianwei Zhang Haibin Zhu Lin Shen Jie Li Xiaoyan Zhang Chunmei Bai Zhiwei Zhou Xianrui Yu Zhiping Li Enxiao Li Xianglin Yuan Wenhui Lou Yihebali Chi Nong Xu Yongmei Yin Yuxian Bai Tao Zhang Dianrong Xiu Jia Chen Shukui Qin Xiuwen Wang Yujie Yang Haoyun Shi Xian Luo Songhua Fan Weiguo Su Ming Lu Jianming Xu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,5: | 0 |

| 11 | Micro-pore structure and oil displacement mechanism analysis for deep zone and low permeability reservoir in Mobei oilfield显示文摘The Mobei reservoir is a low-permeability-sandstone reservoir,due to differences in pore geometry,it can be divided into two independent reservoirs:A1 reservoir and A2 reservoir.For better understanding the water flooding development effects of Mobei reservoir,the mercury intrusion porosimetry,water flooding CT scanning and micro-CT scanning experiments are used in this study.The result shows that the reservoir has the strong heterogeneity which is weaken gradually from A1 reservoir to A2 reservoir.Reservoir pore radius is mainly distributed in the 100e200 microns,the throat radius is mainly distributed in the 1e3 micron.The water flooding core experiment in each reservoir shows a short water-free oil production period and rapid water cut after breakthrough.The A2 reservoir core flooding process is similar to piston displacement,the A1 reservoir core flooding process refers to the phenomenon(The fingering phenomenon in the process of core flooding in the A1 reservoir is obvious).The calculated water drive efficiency of the A2 reservoir is 61.2%,which is higher than 49.1%of the A1 reservoir.According to the CT scanning process,the Mobei oilfield has low micro displacement efficiency and the A1 reservoir has a smaller spread(sweep area)and higher residual oil saturation. | Haibin Su Ninghong Jia Yandong Yang Zhigang Wang Zhibin Jiang Lijuan Feng Jiru Yang Weifeng Lv | 2018 | Petroleum Research2018,3,2: | 0 |

| 13 | Tyrosine phosphatase SHP2 in ovarian granulosa cells balances follicular development by inhibiting PI3K/AKT signaling显示文摘In mammals,the growth and maturation of oocytes within growing follicles largely depends on ovarian granulosa cells(GCs)in response to gonadotropin stimulation.Many signals have been shown to regulate GC proliferation and apoptosis.However,whether the tyrosine phosphatase SHP2 is involved remains unclear.In this study,we identified the crucial roles of SHP2 in modulating GC proliferation and apoptosis.The production of both mature oocytes and pups was increased in mice with Shp2 specifically deleted in ovarian GCs via Fshr-Cre.Shp2 deletion simultaneously promoted GC proliferation and inhibited GC apoptosis.Furthermore,Shp2 deficiency promoted,while Shp2 overexpression inhibited,the proliferation of cultured primary mouse ovarian GCs and the human ovarian granulosa-like tumor cell line KGN in vitro.Shp2 deficiency promoted follicule-stimulating hormone(FSH)-activated phosphorylation of AKT in vivo.SHP2 deficiency reversed the inhibitory effect of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))on AKT activation in KGN cells.H_(2)O_(2) treatment promoted the interaction between SHP2 and the p85 subunit of PI3K in KGN cells.Therefore,SHP2 in GCs may act as a negative modulator to balance follicular development by suppressing PI3K/AKT signaling.The novel function of SHP2 in modulating proliferation and apoptosis of GCs provides a potential therapeutic target for the clinical treatment of follicle developmental dysfunction. | Xiaoli Wei Lanping Zheng Yingpu Tian Haibin Wang Youqiang Su Gensheng Feng Chao Wang Zhongxian Lu | 2022 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2022,14,7: | 0 |

| 15 | Clinical Epidemiology,Illness Profiles,and the Implication of COVID-19 Before and After the Nationwide Omicron Outbreak During the Winter of 2022显示文摘China.In this study,we aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in the Beijing region.Methods:In this retrospective study,we enrolled inpatients admitted for COVID-19 in the Fifth Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital in Beijing between November 10,2022,and January 30,2023.Demographic and clinical features and treatment outcomeswere comprehensively analyzed.We used logistic regression and linear regression analyses to explore the risk factors associated with disease severity and time of nucleic acid conversion,respectively.Results:A total of 1010 hospitalized patients with COVID-19 were enrolled.The median age was 43.0 years(interquartile range,28.0–63.0),and patients aged<60 years and≥60 years comprised 71.2%and 28.8%of total included patients,respectively.The clinical classification of mild(74.6%,753/1010),moderate(21.0%,212/1010),severe(2.7%,27/1010),and unidentified(1.8%,18/1010)was separately recorded;1005 patients were discharged,and 5 patients died in the hospital.The outbreak of the emerging epidemic witnessed an evident increase in the proportion of moderate(42.9%vs.16.4%)and severe(10.3%vs.1.1%)cases after December 7,2022.Patients with a moderate/severe classification had higher levels of procalcitonin,IL-6,serum ferritin,C-reactive protein,lactic dehydrogenase,serum urea nitrogen,and D-dimer and lower counts of CD4+T,CD8+T,and B cells(all P<0.001).Multivariable regression analysis revealed that increased odds of disease severity were associated with the following factors:age≥60 years,IL-6>7 pg/mL,lactic dehydrogenase level>245 U/L,cough,and fever at admission.Age≥80 years and chronic lung diseasewere independent risk factors in the nonmild group in elderly patients.In addition,the duration for nucleic acid to turn negativewas approximately 5.0 d(interquartile range,3.0–7.0).Prolonged time of nucleic acid conversion was associated with age≥60 years,serum urea nitrogen level>8.2 mmol/L,neutrophil count>7×10^(9)/L,and the presence of a chronic lung disease or carcinoma.Finally,unvaccinated patients accounted for 37.3%of enrolled patients;children and the elder people accounted for approximately half of that.The univariable analysis found that booster doses reduced disease severity and shortened the time of nucleic acid conversion in elderly patients.Conclusions:The outbreak ofOmicron rapidly increased the number of patientswith COVID-19 in Beijing.In elderly patients,booster doses may reduce disease severity and shorten the time of nucleic acid conversion.Healthcare systems should be optimized before an emerging epidemic outbreak. | Yuming Guo Zhe Xu Wen-Xin Wang Cheng Zhen Jinhua Hu Jinsong Mu Chengcheng Ji Xin Yuan Ruonan Xu Lei Huang Lei Shi Fanping Meng Junliang Fu Shuangnan Zhou Siyu Wang Fengyi Li Bo Tu Dawei Zhang Huihuang Huang Yufeng Mao Wen Xu Chao Zhang Xiuying Mu Jun Zhao Bo Jin Haibin Su Yinying Lu Yongqian Cheng Dong Ji Shaoli You Jinghui Dong Changchun Liu Mengmeng Zhang Yuanyuan Li Tianjun Jiang Yonggang Li Fu-Sheng Wang | 2023 | Infectious Diseases & Immunity2023,3,4: | 0 |
| 16 | Point cloud completion via structured feature maps using a feedback network显示文摘In this paper,we tackle the challenging problem of point cloud completion from the perspective of feature learning.Our key observation is that to recover the underlying structures as well as surface details,given partial input,a fundamental component is a good feature representation that can capture both global structure and local geometric details.We accordingly first propose FSNet,a feature structuring module that can adaptively aggregate point-wise features into a 2D structured feature map by learning multiple latent patterns from local regions.We then integrate FSNet into a coarse-to-fine pipeline for point cloud completion.Specifically,a 2D convolutional neural network is adopted to decode feature maps from FSNet into a coarse and complete point cloud.Next,a point cloud upsampling network is used to generate a dense point cloud from the partial input and the coarse intermediate output.To efficiently exploit local structures and enhance point distribution uniformity,we propose IFNet,a point upsampling module with a self-correction mechanism that can progressively refine details of the generated dense point cloud.We have conducted qualitative and quantitative experiments on ShapeNet,MVP,and KITTI datasets,which demonstrate that our method outperforms stateof-the-art point cloud completion approaches. | Zejia Su Haibin Huang Chongyang Ma Hui Huang Ruizhen Hu | 2023 | Computational Visual Media2023,9,1: | 0 |
| 17 | Optical detection of quantum geometric tensor in intrinsic semiconductors显示文摘Quantum geometric tensor, including a symmetric real part defined as quantum metric and an antisymmetric part defined as Berry curvature, is essential for understanding many phenomena. In this study, we investigated the photogalvanic efect of semiconductors with time-reversal-invariant and spatial inversion symmetries using the quantum kinetic equation. We concluded that the integral of the symmetric(antisymmetric) part of quantum geometric tensor on the equal energy surface in momentum space, satisfying the resonance condition, is related to the generation rate of carriers in semiconductors under linearly(circularly) polarized light. Under additional bias voltage, the dc photocurrent is proportional to the bias voltage. Our study provided an alternative interpretation for the photogalvanic efect in the view of quantum geometric tensor.
