| 1 | 呼出气体中部分可挥发性有机物用于诊断肺癌的预测模型显示文摘目的 :通过比较病理确诊的肺癌患者与健康人呼出气体中可挥发性有机物(volatile organic compounds,VOCs)的差异,寻找可作为肺癌诊断的特异性生物学标志物。方法:收集63例病理确诊的肺癌患者(研究组)和72例健康人(对照组)的呼出气体,应用电子鼻对呼出气体中的VOCs进行检测。采用MannWhitney U检验对2组的VOCs进行比较,二分类logistic回归及逐步法筛选变量,建立预测模型,并应用受试者工作特征(receiver operating characteristic,ROC)曲线评价预测模型的诊断能力。结果:研究组与对照组的二甲基甲烷、乙醇、甲烷、己烷、2,2,4,6,6-五甲基庚烷、篙属酮、侧柏醇、十二烷和1,2,6-三甲基萘这9种VOCs成分浓度的差异有统计学意义,结合临床其他相关信息建立的预测模型的方程式为P=1/[1+e(-9.006+0.101×X 1+0.01×X 2+0.02×X 3-0.518×X 4)](其中X 1、X 2、X 3和X 4分别为年龄、己烷浓度、2,2,4,6,6-五甲基庚烷浓度和1,2,6-三甲基萘浓度)。此预测模型对研究组和对照组的判对率分别为80.6%和83.9%,敏感度和特异度分别为74.0%和93.0%。结论:呼出气体中VOCs的组成和浓度可以反映机体的代谢状态和特定的疾病状态。建立和开发呼出气体中VOCs的数据库,对肺癌诊断具有重要的理论和实践意义。 | 陈璐 刘畅 康涛 Teong Lim 唐永明 徐萌 惠宏襄 | 2015 | 肿瘤2015,35,4: | 8 |
| 2 | Cultivation of microalgae for biodiesel production:A review on upstream and downstream processing显示文摘Fluctuating market price of fossil fuel and overwhelming emission of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere have resulted in climate change and have been a global concern in this decade. Hence, biodiesel has become an alternative option to fossil diesel as it is renewable and environmentally friendly. Nevertheless, this alternative fuel that is usually derived from terrestrial oil crops will cause shortage in food supply and deforestation if mass production is realized. In recent years, cultivation of aquatic microorganism(particularly microalgae) to produce biodiesel is considered as a practical solution due to their high growth rate and ability to synthesize large quantity of lipid within their cell. However, the development of energy and cost-efficiency of microalgae cultivation system are the main issues in producing renewable microalgae biodiesel. Of late, wastewater or organic compost has been used as the cultivation medium as it can provide sufficient nutrients to sustain microalgae growth.Microalgae cultivation method and system are vitally important as these factors undoubtedly affect the final microalgae biomass and lipid yield. In this review, the cultivation system of microalgae, nutrients demanded for microalgae production, cell harvesting and drying, microalgae oil extraction, and utilization of microalgae biomass for biodiesel production are introduced and discussed. | 3 | Acid Blue 25 adsorption on base treated Shorea dasyphylla sawdust:Kinetic,isotherm,thermodynamic and spectroscopic analysis显示文摘The potential of base treated Shorea dasyphylla(BTSD) sawdust for Acid Blue 25(AB 25) adsorption was investigated in a batch adsorption process.Various physiochemical parameters such as pH,stirring rate,dosage,concentration,contact time and temperature were studied.The adsorbent was characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer,scanning electron microscope and Brunauer,Emmett and Teller analysis.The optimum conditions for AB 25 adsorption were pH 2,stirring rate 500 r/min,adsorbent dosage 0.10 g and contact time 60 min.The pseudo second-order model showed the best conformity to the kinetic data.The equilibrium adsorption of AB 25 was described by Freundlich and Langmuir,with the latter found to agree well with the isotherm model.The maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of BTSD was 24.39 mg/g at 300 K,estimated from the Langmuir model.Thermodynamic parameters such as Gibbs free energy,enthalpy and entropy were determined.It was found that AB 25 adsorption was spontaneous and exothermic. | Megat Ahmad Kamal Megat Hanafiah Wan Saime Wan Ngah Shahira Hilwani Zolkafly Lee Ching Teong Zafri Azran Abdul Majid | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,2: | 3 |

| 7 | The role of nickel oxide additive in lowering the carbon dioxide sorption temperature of CaO显示文摘A new type of calcium-based regenerable carbon dioxide(CO2) sorbent, CaO-NiO, was synthesized via the sol-gel method. The as synthesized CO2 sorbent was in the form of nanoparticles. The CO2 sorption temperature and capacity of the sorbent were examined using thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The CaO-NiO sorbent is able to capture CO2 at a lower sorption temperature(465C) than pure calcium oxide(CaO)(600C). The role of NiO in the CaO-NiO sorbent in lowering the CO2 sorption temperature was also investigated. The sorbent was characterized by X-ray diffractometer(XRD), N2adsorption-desorption analysis, high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). CaO and NiO were found to coexist in the sorbent. Neither solid solution nor mixed metal oxide was formed. NiO did not react with CO2 in the sorption process; but it worked like a catalyst to promote the CaO carbonation reaction.
