| 7 | Interventions of side branches in the management of left ventricular dysfunction: a study based on the virtual dual chamber of the left ventricle显示文摘For interventional cardiologists,it is very challenging to do percutaneous coronary interventions(PCI)in lesions of the left inain,bifurcations or of chronic total occlusion types.However,it is more challenging to demonstrate an evidence based rationale supporting the indications of PCI in these lesions.In this article,new questions are raised on the benefits and the mechanism of benefits for PCI of bifurcations involving large side branches such as the diagonal(DIAG),obtuse marginal(OM)or posterior descending artery(PDA).Besides a positive effect on symptoms,does PCI on these branches improve the left ventricular(LV)function?The preliminary results of new investigations on PCI of bifurcation lesions involving a large DIAG,OM or PDA were presented for the first time at the 3rd Coronary Bifurcation and Left Main Symposium in November 2011 in Nanjing,China and the final results at the China Interventional Therapeutics(CIT)meeting in Beijing,China,March 2012. | Thach Nguyen Dan Le James Nguyen Joseph Hackler Katrina Nguyen Hung Phan Tuan D Nguyen Quoc Nguyen | 2012 | Chinese Medical Journal2012，，22： | 0 |
