| 1 | Concentration and source identification of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalic acid esters in the surface water of the Yangtze River Delta,China显示文摘The pollution from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) and phthalic acid esters(PAEs) in the surface water of the rapidly urbanized Yangtze River Delta region was investigated.Fourteen surface water samples were collected in June 2010.Water samples were liquid-liquid extracted using methylene chloride and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.Concentrations of PAHs and PAEs ranged 12.9-638.1 ng/L and 61-28550 ng/L,respectively.Fluoranthene,naphthalene,pyrene,phenanthrene,di-2ethylhexyl phthalate,and di-n-butyl phthalate were the most abundant compounds in the samples.The water samples were moderately polluted with benzo[a]pyrene according to China's environmental quality standard for surface water.The two highest concentrations of PAHs and PAEs occurred in samples from Taihu Lake,Wuxi City and the western section of Yangchenghu Lake.Potential sources of pollution at S7 were petroleum combustion and the plastics industry,and at Yangchenghu Lake were petroleum combustion and domestic waste.Pollution in samples from the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal originated from diesel engines.There were no obvious sources of pollution for the other water samples.These results can be used as reference levels for future monitoring programs of pollution from PAHs and PAEs. | Lifei Zhang Liang Dong Lijun Ren Shuangxin Shi Li Zhou Ting Zhang Yeru Huang | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,2: | 56 |

| 9 | A study of rock bolting failure modes显示文摘Rock bolting has advanced rapidly during the past 4 decades due to a better understanding of load transfer mechanisms and advances made in the bolt system technology. Bolts are used as permanent and temporary support systems in tunnelling and mining operations. A review of has indicated that three systems of reinforcement devices have evolved as part of rock bolt and ground anchor while the rock is not generally thought of as being a component of the reinforcement system. A classification of rock bolting reinforcement systems is presented, followed by the fundamental theory of the load transfer mechanism. The failure mode of two phases of rock bolting system is formularised. The failure modes of cable bolting are discussed using a bond strength model as well as an iterative method. | 10 | Friction and Wear Behavior of Resin/Graphite Composite under Dry Sliding显示文摘The friction and wear behavior of resin/graphite composite has been investigated using a pin-on-disc configuration under dry sliding condition. The results showed that the resin/graphite composite exhibited much better mechanical and tribological properties compared with the unimpregnated graphite. The friction coefficient was reduced by addition of furan resin, which could also prevent the'dusting' wear at loads more than 15 MPa. The steady and lubricated transfer film was easily formed on the counterpart surface due to the interaction of furan resin and wear debris of graphite, which was useful to reduce the wear rate of the resin/graphite composite. | 11 | Evolution and application of in-seam drilling for gas drainage显示文摘The presence of seam gas in the form of methane or carbon dioxide presents a hazard to underground coal mining operations.In-seam drilling has been undertaken for the past three decades for gas drainage to reduce the risk of gas outburst and lower the concentrations of seam gas in the underground ventilation.The drilling practices have reflected the standards of the times and have evolved with the development of technology and equipment and the needs to provide a safe mining environment underground.Early practice was to adapt equipment from other felds,with rotary drilling being the only form of drilling available.This form of drainage allowed various levels of gas drainage coverage but with changing emphasis,research and development within the coal industry has created specifc equipment,technology and practices to accurately place in-seam boreholes to provide effcient and effective gas drainage.Research into gas content determination established a standard for the process and safe levels for mining operations to continue.Surveying technology improved from the wire-line,single-shot Eastman survey instruments which was time-dependent on borehole depth to electronic instruments located in the drill string which transmitted accurate survey data to the drilling crew without time delays.This allowed improved directional control and increased drilling rates.Directional drilling technology has now been established as the industry standard to provide effective gas drainage drilling.Exploration was identifed as an additional beneft with directional drilling as it has the ability to provide exploration data from long boreholes.The ability of the technology to provide safe and reliable means to investigate the need for inrush protection and water drainage ahead of mining has been established.Directional drilling technology has now been introduced to the Chinese coal industry for gas drainage through a practice of auditing,design,supply,training and ongoing support.Experienced drilling crews can offer site specifc gas drainage drilling services utilising the latest equipment and technology. | Frank Hungerford Ting Ren Naj Aziz | 2013 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,4: | 12 |
| 12 | 树脂锚固剂中添加不同钢质骨料对锚固力的影响显示文摘本次实验研究对钢质骨料添加剂的外形、粒径和浓度进行了优化,以提高树脂锚固剂在破坏界面的抗剪能力和改变原锚固剂的直剪破坏方式来直接改善整个锚固系统的加固效果,进一步提高了钢质骨料对试件锚固力的增强程度。试验通过向散装慢速树脂锚固剂中分别添加粒径为1.5,2.0,2.8mm的钢砂和1.4,2.0,2.5mm的钢丸,每种粒径的钢质骨料又分为30,40,50共3种数量;使用矿业20 mm右旋螺纹钢锚杆和长度100 mm、内径30 mm、壁厚7.0 mm的钢套筒制作锚固试样;然后使用电液伺服万能试验机,加载方式为2 mm/min进行拉拔试验采集数据,并结合销栓作用相关理论分析不同钢质骨料添加剂对平均锚固力的影响。试验数据表明:与无添加钢质骨料的锚固试件相比,向树脂锚固剂中添加钢砂和钢丸对锚固试件的平均锚固力分别为125.6,129.0kN,提高了6.4%和9.4%;其中,添加粒径为1.4~1.5,2.0~2.0和2.5~2.8mm的试件平均锚固力分别为127.6,124.7和129.6kN,提高了8.1%,5.7%和9.8%,呈现先减小而后增大的趋势;而添加钢质骨料的数量增加对锚固力的提升程度呈现逐渐减小的趋势,即添加骨料数量为30,40,50的试件平均锚固力分别为128.5,127.2和126.2kN,提升约8.9%,7.8%和6.9%。本次实验中最大锚固力提升来自添加数量为30、粒径为1.4 mm的钢丸,平均锚固力为135.1 kN,增加了14.5%。试验中的锚固剂破坏方式为剪切破坏,且钢质骨料产生的销栓作用对锚固剂破坏表面造成划痕,并根据锚固段破坏机理分析,进一步讨论了锚固剂抗剪强度及残余抗剪强度参数对锚固效果产生的重要影响。 | 张明 CAO Chen 张怀东 TRAN Vancong REN Ting 马双文 韩军 | 2019 | 煤炭学报2019,44,6: | 12 |
| 13 | Potentiating CD8^(+) T cell antitumor activity by inhibiting PCSK9 to promote LDLR-mediated TCR recycling and signaling显示文摘Metabolic regulation has been proven to play a critical role in T cell antitumor immunity.However,cholesterol metabolism as a key component of this regulation remains largely unexplored.Herein,we found that the low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR),which has been previously identified as a transporter for cholesterol,plays a pivotal role in regulating CD8+T cell antitumor activity.Besides the involvement of cholesterol uptake which is mediated by LDLR in T cell priming and clonal expansion,we also found a non-canonical function of LDLR in CD8+T cells:LDLR interacts with the T-cell receptor(TCR)complex and regulates TCR recycling and signaling,thus facilitating the effector function of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes(CTLs).Furthermore,we found that the tumor microenvironment(TME)downregulates CD8+T cell LDLR level and TCR signaling via tumor cell-derived proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9(PCSK9)which binds to LDLR and prevents the recycling of LDLR and TCR to the plasma membrane thus inhibits the effector function of CTLs.Moreover,genetic deletion or pharmacological inhibition of PCSK9 in tumor cells can enhance the antitumor activity of CD8+T cells by alleviating the suppressive effect on CD8+T cells and consequently inhibit tumor progression.While previously established as a hypercholesterolemia target,this study highlights PCSK9/LDLR as a potential target for cancer immunotherapy as well. | Juanjuan Yuan Ting Cai Xiaojun Zheng Yangzi Ren Jingwen Qi Xiaofei Lu Huihui Chen Huizhen Lin Zijie Chen Mengnan Liu Shangwen He Qijun Chen Siyang Feng Yingjun Wu Zhenhai Zhang Yanqing Ding Wei Yang | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,4: | 12 |

When grout fills irregularities between the bolt and the rock, a keying effect is created to transfer the load to the bolt via shear resistance at the interface and within the grout. Previous research has revealed that the mechanical properties of the grout had a great impact on the load transfer capacity of the rock bolting system. This paper presents a method to enhance the rock bolting strength by introducing metal granules into the grouting material. | 19 | Comprehensive analysis of NAC transcription factors and their expression during fruit spine development in cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.)显示文摘The cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)is an important vegetable crop worldwide,and fruit trichomes or spines are an important trait for external fruit quality.The mechanisms underlying spine formation are not well understood,but the plant-specific NAC family of transcription factors may play important roles in fruit spine initiation and development.In this study,we conducted a genome-wide survey and identified 91 NAC gene homologs in the cucumber genome.Clustering analysis classified these genes into six subfamilies;each contained a varying number of NAC family members with a similar intron–exon structure and conserved motifs.Quantitative real-time PCR analysis revealed tissue-specific expression patterns of these genes,including 10 and 12 that exhibited preferential expression in the stem and fruit,respectively.Thirteen of the 91 NAC genes showed higher expression in the wild-type plant than in its near-isogenic trichome mutant,suggesting their important roles in fruit spine development.Exogenous application of four plant hormones promoted spine formation and increased spine density on the cucumber fruits;several NAC genes showed differential expression over time in response to phytohormone treatments on cucumber fruit,implying their essential roles in fruit-trichome development.Among the NAC genes identified,12 were found to be targets of 13 known cucumber micro-RNAs.Collectively,these findings provide a useful resource for further analysis of the interactions between NAC genes and genes underlying trichome organogenesis and development during fruit spine development in cucumber. | Xingwang Liu Ting wang Ezra Bartholomew Kezia Black Mingming Dong Yaqi Zhang Sen Yang Yanling Cai Shudan Xue Yiqun Weng Huazhong Ren | 2018 | Horticulture Research2018,5,1: | 10 |
