| 1 | Proximity Based Automatic Data Annotation for Autonomous Driving显示文摘The recent development in autonomous driving involves high-level computer vision and detailed road scene understanding.Today,most autonomous vehicles employ expensive high quality sensor-set such as light detection and ranging(LIDAR)and HD maps with high level annotations.In this paper,we propose a scalable and affordable data collection and annotation framework image-to-map annotation proximity(I2MAP),for affordance learning in autonomous driving applications.We provide a new driving dataset using our proposed framework for driving scene affordance learning by calibrating the data samples with available tags from online database such as open street map(OSM).Our benchmark consists of 40000 images with more than40 affordance labels under various day time and weather even with very challenging heavy snow.We implemented sample advanced driver-assistance systems(ADAS)functions by training our data with neural networks(NN)and cross-validate the results on benchmarks like KITTI and BDD100K,which indicate the effectiveness of our framework and training models. | Chen Sun Jean M.Uwabeza Vianney Ying Li Long Chen Li Li Fei-Yue Wang Amir Khajepour Dongpu Cao | 2020 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,2: | 4 |
| 2 | Polydopamine/poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate)Co-deposition coatings triggered by CuSO_(4)/H_(2)O_(2)on implants for improved surface hemocompatibility and antibacterial activity显示文摘Implanted biomaterials such as medical catheters are prone to be adhered by proteins,platelets and bacteria due to their surface hydrophobicity characteristics,and then induce related infections and thrombosis.Hence,the development of a versatile strategy to endow surfaces with antibacterial and antifouling functions is particularly significant for blood-contacting materials.In this work,CuSO_(4)/H_(2)O_(2)was used to trigger polydopamine(PDA)and poly-(sulfobetaine methacrylate)(PSBMA)co-deposition process to endow polyurethane(PU)antibacterial and antifouling surface(PU/PDA(Cu)/PSBMA).The zwitterions contained in the PU/PDA(Cu)/PSBMA coating can significantly improve surface wettability to reduce protein adsorption,thereby improving its blood compatibility.In addition,the copper ions released from the metal-phenolic networks(MPNs)imparted them more than 90%antibacterial activity against E.coli and S.aureus.Notably,PU/PDA(Cu)/PSBMA also exhibits excellent performance in vivo mouse catheter-related infections models.Thus,the PU/PDA(Cu)/PSBMA has great application potential for developing multifunctional surface coatings for blood-contacting materials so as to improve antibacterial and anticoagulant properties. | Zhongqiang Zhu Qiang Gao Ziyue Long Qiuyi Huo Yifan Ge Ntakirutimana Vianney Nishimwe Anodine Daliko Yongchun Meng Jia Qu Hao Chen Bailiang Wang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,8: | 3 |

| 8 | Click and bioorthogonal hyaluronic acid hydrogels as an ultra-tunable platform for the investigation of cell-material interactions显示文摘The cellular microenvironment plays a major role in the biological functions of cells.Thus,biomaterials,especially hydrogels,which can be design to mimic the cellular microenvironment,are being increasingly used for cell encapsulation,delivery,and 3D culture,with the hope of controlling cell functions.Yet,much remains to be understood about the effects of cell-material interactions,and advanced synthetic strategies need to be developed to independently control the mechanical and biochemical properties of hydrogels.To address this challenge,we designed a new hyaluronic acid(HA)-based hydrogel platform using a click and bioorthogonal strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition(SPAAC)reaction.This approach facilitates the synthesis of hydrogels that are easy to synthesize and sterilize,have minimal swelling,are stable long term,and are cytocompatible.It provides bioorthogonal HA gels over an uncommonly large range of stiffness(0.5-45 kPa),all forming within 1-15 min.More importantly,our approach offers a versatile one-pot procedure to independently tune the hydrogel composition(e.g.,polymer and adhesive peptides).Using this platform,we investigate the independent effects of polymer type,stiffness,and adhesion on the secretory properties of human adipose-derived stromal cells(hASCs)and demonstrate that HA can enhance the secretion of immunomodulatory factors by hASCs. | Nathan Lagneau Pierre Tournier Boris Halgand François Loll Yves Maugars Jérôme Guicheux Catherine Le Visage Vianney Delplace | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,6: | 1 |
