| 2 | Spatial scaling of net primary productivity model based on remote sensing显示文摘Spatial scaling for net primary productivity (NPP) refers to the transferring process of establishing quantitative correlation between simulated NPP derived from data at different spatial resolutions. How to transfer NPP at one scale by the algorithm with smaller error to at another is the urgent problem. Nonlinearity and effects from land cover type are two main problems in NPP scaling. In this paper, the contextural approach based on mixed pixels and support vector machine (SVM) algorithm are used to make the scaling model from the fine resolution (TM) to the coarse resolution (MODIS). Spatial scaling from NPP retrieved from fine resolution data to NPP derived from coarse resolution images is performed, and the correction of scale effect to NPP retrieved from coarse resolution data of MODIS is accomplished. The result shows that the correlation between Rj_coereted of the correction factor for scale effect and 1-Fmiddle dessity grassland estimated by SVM regression model is higher (R2=0.81). Before the correction for scale effect, the correlation between NPPMODIS and NPPTM is lower (R2=0.69; RMSE=3.47), while the correlation between NPPTM and corrected NPPMODIS_corrected is higher (R2=0.84; RMSE= 1.87). | 3 | A critical survey of technologies of large offshore wind farm integration: summary, advances, and perspectives显示文摘Offshore wind farms(OWFs)have received widespread attention for their abundant unexploited wind energy poten-tial and convenient locations conditions.They are rapidly developing towards having large capacity and being located further away from shore.It is thus necessary to explore effective power transmission technologies to connect large OWFs to onshore grids.At present,three types of power transmission technologies have been proposed for large OWF integration.They are:high voltage alternating current(HVAC)transmission,high voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission,and low-frequency alternating current(LFAC)or fractional frequency alternating current transmission.This work undertakes a comprehensive review of grid connection technologies for large OWF integration.Compared with previous reviews,a more exhaustive summary is provided to elaborate HVAC,LFAC,and five HVDC topologies,consisting of line-commutated converter HVDC,voltage source converter HVDC,hybrid-HVDC,diode rectifier-based HVDC,and all DC transmission systems.The fault ride-through technologies of the grid connection schemes are also presented in detail to provide research references and guidelines for researchers.In addition,a comprehensive evalu-ation of the seven grid connection technologies for large OWFs is proposed based on eight specific indicators.Finally,eight conclusions and six perspectives are outlined for future research in integrating large OWFs. | Bo Yang Bingqiang Liu Hongyu Zhou Jingbo Wang Wei Yao Shaocong Wu Hongchun Shu Yaxing Ren | 2022 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1: | 4 |
| 4 | Application of intraoperative O-arm-assisted real-time navigation technique for spinal fixation显示文摘This study explored the combined use of the O-arm and real-time navigation during spinal fixation. The clinical data for 60 patients undergoing spinal fixation, at Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital between May 5, 2015 and May 1, 2017, were retrospectively analyzed. Pre-, intra-, and postoperative imaging findings were assessed. The patients were classified into the occipitocervical fusion(32 cases) and thoracic/lumbar/sacral spine fixation(28 cases, including 6 cases of percutaneous pedicle screw) groups. Lesion resections were performed microscopically. An O-arm, combined with real-time navigation, was used to assess spinal fixation. Efficacy was evaluated using operative times, X-ray times, screw positioning, and complications. Within the occipitocervical fusion group, 182 screws were placed in the cervical spine and 96 in the occipital bone. However, 6 screws penetrated the bone cortex and were adjacent to the vertebral arteries, based on O-arm three-dimensional imaging; therefore, the precision rate was 96.7%. Within the thoracic/lumbar/sacral spine fixation group, 148 pedicle screws were implanted, with 4 initially outside the vertebral body,yielding a precision rate of 97.3%. Ten percutaneous pedicle screws were implanted and well positioned. O-arm scans were performed 3 times/patient, with an average of 20–30 min/time. Screw implantation times were 5–7 min(cervical spine), 8–10 min(thoracic spine), and 6–8 min(lumbar spine). | 13 | Research for length change of four seasons over China in recent 47 years显示文摘Using daily temperature data from 599 Chinese weather stations during 1961-2007, the length change trends of four seasons during the past 47 years were analyzed. Results show that throughout the region, four seasons' lengths are: spring becomes shorter (?0.8 d/10yrs), summer becomes longer (3.2 d/10yrs), autumn (?0.5 d/10yrs) and winter (?1.6 d/10yrs) becomes shorter. This trend is different in spatial distribution, namely it is very obvious in northern than southern China, and also remarkable in eastern than western China. Summer change is most obvious, but autumn has little change comparatively. This trend is highly obvious in North, East, Central and South China. In the Southwest starting in the 21st century, summer becomes longer and winter shortens. The trend in the Plateau region since the 1980s is that spring becomes longer and winter shortens. The average annual temperature increased during the past 47 years, and the change of the average annual temperature precedes seasons' length. | 14 | Morphine Re-arranges Chromatin Spatial Architecture of Primate Cortical Neurons显示文摘The expression of linear DNA sequence is precisely regulated by the three-dimensional(3D)architecture of chromatin.Morphine-induced aberrant gene networks of neurons have been extensively investigated;however,how morphine impacts the 3D genomic architecture of neurons is still unknown.Here,we applied digestion-ligation-only high-throughput chromosome conformation capture(DLO Hi-C)technology to investigate the effects of morphine on the 3D chromatin architecture of primate cortical neurons.After receiving continuous morphine administration for 90 days on rhesus monkeys,we discovered that morphine re-arranged chromosome territories,with a total of 391 segmented compartments being switched.Morphine altered over half of the detected topologically associated domains(TADs),most of which exhibited a variety of shifts,followed by separating and fusing types.Analysis of the looping events at kilobase-scale resolution revealed that morphine increased not only the number but also the length of differential loops.Moreover,all identified differentially expressed genes from the RNA sequencing data were mapped to the specific TAD boundaries or differential loops,and were further validated for changed expression.Collectively,an altered 3D genomic architecture of cortical neurons may regulate the gene networks associated with morphine effects.Our finding provides critical hubs connecting chromosome spatial organization and gene networks associated with the morphine effects in humans. | Liang Wang Xiaojie Wang Chunqi Liu Wei Xu Weihong Kuang Qian Bu Hongchun Li Ying Zhao Linhong Jiang Yaxing Chen Feng Qin Shu Li Qinfan Wei Xiaocong Liu Bin Liu Yuanyuan Chen Yanping Dai Hongbo Wang Jingwei Tian Gang Cao Yinglan Zhao Xiaobo Cen | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,3: | 0 |

| 16 | TiO_(2) nanorods based self-supported electrode of 1T/2H MoS_(2) nanosheets decorated by Ag nano-particles for efficient hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))has shown significant promise as an economic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst for hydrogen generation,but its catalytic performance is still lower than noble metalbased catalysists.Herein,a silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs)-decorated 1T/2H phase layered MoS_(2) electrocatalyst grown on titanium dioxide nanorod arrays(Ag NPs/1T(2H)MoS_(2)/TNRs)was prepared through acid-tunable ammonium ion intercalation.Taking advantage of MoS_(2) layered structure and crystal phase controllability,as-prepared Ag NPs/1T(2H)MoS_(2)/TNRs exhibited ultrahigh HER activity.As-proposed strategy combines facile hydrogen desorption(Ag NPs)with efficient hydrogen adsorption(1T/2H MoS_(2))effectively circumventes the kinetic limitation of hydrogen desorption by 1T/2H MoS_(2).The as-prepared Ag NPs/1T(2H)MoS_(2)/TNRs electrocatalyst exhibited excellent HER activity in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 with low overpotential(118 mV vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE))and small Tafel slope(38.61 mV/dec).The overpotential exhibts no obvious attenuation after 10 h of constant current flow.First-principles calculation demonstrates that as-prepared 1T/2H MoS_(2) exhibit a large capacity to store protons.These protons can be subsequently transferred to Ag NPs,which significantly increases the hydrogen coverage on the surface of Ag NPs in HER process and thus change the rate-determining step of HER on Ag NPs from water dissociation to hydrogen recombination.This study provides a unique strategy to improve the catalytic activity and stability for MoS_(2)-based electrocatalyst. | Changzheng Lin Yunpeng Liu Yaxing Sun Zhenyu Wang Hao Xu Mingtao Li Jiangtao Feng Bo Hou Wei Yan | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11: | 0 |
| 17 | Lactoferrin improves hepatic pyroptosis in mice after irradiation显示文摘Objective:To investigate the effects of lactoferrin(Lf)on hepatic pyroptosis(an inflammatory form of programmed cell death)in mice exposed to radiation.Methods:A total of thirty-six BALB/c male mice were randomly divided into four groups,namely the control group,5 Gy group,5 Gyþ2 mg Lf group,and 5 Gyþ4 mg Lf group.The mice were administered whole-body ionizing radiation using a PRIMUS accelerator,with a single dose of 5 Gy and an absorbed dose rate of 2.0 Gy/min at a source-skin distance of 100 cm.Lf solution was intraperitoneally injected into the mice 2 h before and per day after radiation.The mice were sacrificed 1,3,and 9 d after radiation,and their livers were used for histopathologic examination,immunohistochemistry analysis,and Western blot analysis for absent in melanoma 2(AIM2)inflammasome pathway.Results:Histopathologic examination showed the disorder of the hepatocellular structure and the accumulation of inflammatory cells after radiation.Lf intervention inhibited hepatocellular proliferation and decreased the infiltration of inflammatory cells.Immunohistochemistry analysis indicated that AIM2 overexpression was significantly attenuated by 4 mg of Lf(t=3.065,P<0.05)3 d after radiation and by 2 mg and 4 mg of Lf(t=4.032,t=2.786,P<0.05)9 d after radiation.Western blot analysis showed that Lf downregulated the hepatic overexpression of AIM2,apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase activation and recruitment domain(ASC),IL-1β,and IL-18.2 mg of Lf significantly downregulated the abovementioned protein expression 3 d(t=7.934,4.092,5.193,2.916,P<0.05)and 9 d after radiation(t=5.016,3.882,9.528,P<0.05 for AIM2,ASC,IL-1β).Conclusions:Lf intervention suppressed the hepatic pyroptosis in mice exposed to ionizing radiation by downregulating the protein expression of AIM2 inflammasome. | Ru Zhang Jia Gu Yulu Wei Yaxing Guo Liqiang Qin Jiaying Xu | 2022 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,1: | 0 |
| 18 | Three-dimensional-printed collagen/chitosan/secretome derived from HUCMSCs scaffolds for efficient neural network reconstruction in canines with traumatic brain injury显示文摘The secretome secreted by stem cells and bioactive material has emerged as a promising therapeutic choice for traumatic brain injury(TBI).We aimed to determine the effect of 3D-printed collagen/chitosan/secretome derived from human umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cells scaffolds(3D-CC-ST)on the injured tissue regeneration process.3D-CC-ST was performed using 3D printing technology at a low temperature(20C),and the physical properties and degeneration rate were measured.The utilization of low temperature contributed to a higher cytocompatibility of fabricating porous 3D architectures that provide a homogeneous distribution of cells.Immediately after the establishment of the canine TBI model,3D-CC-ST and 3D-CC(3D-printed collagen/chitosan scaffolds)were implanted into the cavity of TBI.Following implantation of scaffolds,neurological examination and motor evoked potential detection were performed to analyze locomotor function recovery.Histological and immunofluorescence staining were performed to evaluate neuro-regeneration.The group treated with 3D-CC-ST had good performance of behavior functions.Implanting 3D-CC-ST significantly reduced the cavity area,facilitated the regeneration of nerve fibers and vessel reconstruction,and promoted endogenous neuronal differentiation and synapse formation after TBI.The implantation of 3D-CC-ST also markedly reduced cell apoptosis and regulated the level of systemic inflammatory factors after TBI. | Xiaoyin Liu Guijun Zhang Pan Wei Lin Zhong Yaxing Chen Jianyong Zhang Xuyi Chen Liangxue Zhou | 2022 | Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Proof of retrievability based on LDPC codes显示文摘In order to reduce the computational overhead of proof of retrievability(POR) scheme, a new POR scheme based on low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes is proposed, noted as LDPC-POR. In the model of PORs scheme, the client preprocesses the data and sends it to an untrusted server for storage, only keeping some metadata. Then, the client sends a challenge to the server to prove that the data stored at the server has neither been tampered nor deleted. In the setup phase of this scheme, the client uses LDPC code to encode the data, and blinds data with permutation and pseudo-random stream. In the challenge phase, the server generates the proof completely based on exclusive OR(XOR), after that the client makes use of the LDPC code to prove the validity of proof. The theoretical analysis shows that this scheme not only reduces the computational overhead, but also saves storage space compared with the classical scheme. | 20 | Fluorescein sodium use during spinal ependymoma resection显示文摘Spinal ependymomas(SEs) are common adult intramedullary tumors; however,determining the absolute boundary between the tumor and the tumor residual may be difficult. We assessed outcomes following the use of fluorescein sodium(FS) during surgical removal of SEs. We performed a retrospective analysis of 112 patients with SEs who were treated at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital between December 2014 and December 2016. Each patient received intravenous FS(3–4 mg/kg) to determine the SE boundaries during surgery. Tumor removal efficiencies and tumor residuals were assessed using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) at 10 days and 3 months after surgical recovery; McC ormick's spinal function classification was also performed at the 3-month follow-up. The complete tumor removal rate was 92%(103/112). Ninetyfour patients underwent tumor removal under fluorescent light, which provided distinctive tumor fluorescence. Tumor removal under white light was performed in18 patients; fluorescent images were invisible or indistinctive in these 18 patients. At the 3-month follow-up, sensory function(85.8%(91/106)) and movement(84.3%(86/102)) were improved in patients with pre-surgical dysfunction; urination and defecation functions were improved in 66.7%(16/24). The Mc Cormick spinal cord functional classifications, at the 3-month follow-up, showed significant differences in the percentages of patients with disease classified to each grade(I–IV), compared with preoperative classifications(each, P < 0.05). There was no MRI evidence of tumor relapse or residuals at the 3-month follow-up.
