1Liquefaction macrophenomena in the great Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘On May 12,2008 at 14:28,a catastrophic magnitude Ms 8.0 earthquake struck the Sichuan Province of China.The epicenter was located at Wenchuan(31.00oN,103.40oE).Liquefaction macrophenomena and corresponding destruction was observed throughout a vast area of 500 km long and 200 km wide following the earthquake.This paper illustrates the geographic distribution of the liquefaction and the relationship between liquefaction behavior and seismic intensity,and summarizes the liquefaction macrophenomena,including sandboils and waterspouts,ground subsidence,ground fi ssures etc.,and relevant liquefaction features.A brief summary of the structural damage caused by liquefaction is presented and discussed.Based on comparisons with liquefaction phenomena observed in the 1976 Tangshan and 1975 Haicheng earthquakes,preliminary analyses were performed,which revealed some new features of liquefaction behavior and associated issues arising from this event.The site investigation indicated that the spatial non-uniformity of liquefaction distribution was obvious and most of the liquefi ed sites were located in regions of seismic intensity VIII.However,liquefaction phenomena at ten different sites in regions of seismic intensity VI were also observed for the fi rst time in China mainland.Sandboils and waterspouts ranged from centimeters to tens of meters,with most between 1 m to 3 m.Dramatically high water/sand ejections,e.g.,more than 10 m,were observed at four different sites.The sand ejections included silty sand,fi ne sand,medium sand,course sand and gravel,but the ejected sand amount was less than that in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake.Possible liquefaction of natural gravel soils was observed for the fi rst time in China mainland.Chen Longwei Yuan Xiaoming Cao Zhenzhong Hou Longqing Sun Rui Dong Lin Wang Weiming Meng Fanchao Chen Hongjuan 2009Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2009,8,2:14
2Microstructure and soft-magnetic properties of FeCoPCCu nanocrystalline alloys显示文摘Fe(83.2-x)CoxP(10)C6Cu(0.8)(x=0,4,6,8 and 10)alloys with a high amorphous-forming ability and good softmagnetic properties were successfully synthesized.Saturation magnetic flux density(Bs)is effectively enhanced from 1.53 T to 1.61 T for as-quenched alloy by minor Co addition,which is consistent well with the result of the linear relationship between average magnetic moment and magnetic valence.For Cocontained alloys,the value of corecivity(Hc)is mainly determined by magneto-crystalline anisotropy,while effective permeability(μe)is dominated by grain size and average saturation polarization.After proper heat treatment,the Fe(79.2)Co4P(10)C6Cu(0.8)nanocrystalline alloy exhibited excellent soft-magnetic properties including a high Bsof 1.8 T,a low Hcof 6.6 A/m and a highμeof 15,510,which is closely related to the high volume fraction of α-(Fe,Co)grains and refined uniform nanocrystalline microstructure.Long Hou Xingdu Fan Qianqian Wang Weiming Yang Baolong Shen 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8:3

6Status of the IHEP 1.3 GHz superconducting RF program显示文摘The 1.3 GHz superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) technology is one of the key technologies for the ILC and future XFEL and ERL projects in China. With the aim to develop 1.3 GHz SRF technology, IHEP has started a program to build an SRF Accelerating Unit. This unit contains a 9-cell 1.3 GHz superconducting cavity, a short cryomodule, a high power input coupler, a tuner and a low level RF system. This program also includes the SRF laboratory upgrade, which will permit the unit to be built and tested at IHEP. The unit will be used for the 1.3 GHz SRF system integration study, high power horizontal test and possible beam test in the future. In this paper, we report the recent R&D status of this program. The first large grain low-loss shape 9-cell superconducting RF cavity made by IHEP reached 20 MV/m in the first vertical test in July, 2010. The prototype tuner and low level RF (LLRF) system are under test. The high power input coupler and cryomodule are under fabrication. 8A Biomimetic Tooth Replicate That Is Hard,Damage-Tolerant,and Self-Healable显示文摘Hard materials typically lack the mechanism of energy dissipation and cannot self-heal.Nature addresses this challenge by creating multiscale interfaces between high-contrast materials,namely minerals and biopolymers.Inspired by the enamel-dentin junction in nature,an enamel-like crown consisting ofβFeOOH nanocolumns is interdigitated with a flexible self-healing layer.The iron oxide top layer has exceptionally high modulus and hardness,which is more resistant to cyclic deformation than the bottom layer.The latter however provides an additional pathway for viscous and plastic energy dissipation and enables self-healing by allowing upward polymer diffusion to seal the damage.Picture-frame crack patterns were observed under large loading conditions using microindentation,which localizes the damage at the indentation site.The bending properties can be optimized by varying the thickness of the bottom layer,and the crack induced by bending can be effectively captured at the interface without any delamination.The biomimetic tooth replicate is highly adhesive to a ceramic surface and shows an obvious inhibition effect against Streptococcus mutans,a significant contributor to tooth decay.Combined with ultralow thermal diffusivity,this has great potential as dental material.Learning from nature,our work thus provides a powerful pathway to broadening the scope of synthetic materials for dental replicates.Ying Yan Kai Niu Wenbo Zhang Weiming Sun Yue Jiang Zhonghao Jiang Lijuan Zhao Ming Yang Baosheng Li Ying Hou Guangshe Li Ming Yang Shouhua Feng 2023CCS Chemistry2023,5,1:0
9Overview of epigenetic degraders based on PROTAC, molecular glue, and hydrophobic tagging technologies显示文摘Epigenetic pathways play a critical role in the initiation, progression, and metastasis of cancer. Over the past few decades, significant progress has been made in the development of targeted epigenetic modulators(e.g., inhibitors). However, epigenetic inhibitors have faced multiple challenges,including limited clinical efficacy, toxicities, lack of subtype selectivity, and drug resistance. As a result,the design of new epigenetic modulators(e.g., degraders) such as PROTACs, molecular glue, and hydrophobic tagging(Hy T) degraders has garnered significant attention from both academia and pharmaceutical industry, and numerous epigenetic degraders have been discovered in the past decade. In this review,we aim to provide an in-depth illustration of new degrading strategies(2017-2023) targeting epigenetic proteins for cancer therapy, focusing on the rational design, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, clinical status, and crystal structure information of these degraders. Importantly, we also provide deep insights into the potential challenges and corresponding remedies of this approach to drug design and development. 10Homogeneous intercalated graphene/manganic oxide hybrid fiber electrode assembly by non-liquid-crystal spinning for wearable energy storage显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide(rGO)-based fibers with high electrochemical performance have recently showed great potential in the field of flexible energy storage devices.However,they still suffer from low capacitance due to the severe stacking of graphene sheets.Hybrids with nanofillers are an efficient way to improve the electrochemical performance of rGO fibers.Nevertheless,controlling the distribution of nanoparticles in the matrix is still an enormous challenge due to the strong attraction among these nanoparticles which results into agglomeration.Here,we continually prepared rGO hybrid fibers via nonliquid-crystal spinning,accompanied by chemical reduction.Manganic oxide(Mn OX)nanoparticles remained well-dispersed in GO dispersion during the continuous spinning of rGO/Mn OXhybrid fibers.Results showed that rGO/Mn OX-20 hybrid fibers possessed the best capacitance of 123.3 F g^(-1)(87.6 F cm^(-3))and 97.1 F g^(-1)(68.9 F cm^(-3))at the current density of 0.2 A g^(-1),and 0.5 A g^(-1)respectively.Furthermore,a fiber-shaped all-solid-state supercapacitor assembly from the optimized hybrid fibers demonstrated an energy density of 2.67 m Wh cm^(-3)(3.76 m Wh g^(-1))at the power density of 24.76 m Wh cm^(-3)(34.89 m Wh g^(-1)).These fiber-based devices show great potential for application in the fields of wearable electronics and energy storage devices.Guoyin Chen Weiming Wang Xin Lu Innocent Tendo Mugaanire Yang Zhang Yulu Ai Kai Hou Benjamin S.Hsiao Meifang Zhu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2:0
