1Polyimide-derived carbon nanofiber membranes as anodes for high-performance flexible lithium ion batteries显示文摘The strategy of N-doping in carbon materials could provide additional Li-ion storage sites to improve their electrochemical properties. Heteroatom-containing polymers could serve as good precursors to fabricate doped carbons due to the capability to in situ dope heteroatoms into the structures. In this work,electrospun heterocyclic polyimide(PI) nanofiber membranes containing biphenyl and pyrimidine rings were carbonized to fabricate freestanding and flexible heteroatoms-containing carbon membranes.When the polymer membranes were subjected to various calcination temperatures(from 550℃ to950℃) and durations(0.5-10 h), the structural evolutions strongly affect their electrochemical properties as anodes for lithium ion batteries. It demonstrated that the reversible specific capacity of obtained sample treated at 650℃ for 3 h could achieve 695 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g and retain 245 mAh/g at 1.5 A/g after300 cycles. 7Effect of molecular weight on reaction-induced phase separation of epoxy resin modified with fluorocarbon chain terminated polyetherimide显示文摘A series of fluorocarbon chain terminated polyetherimide is added to epoxy resin, and the effect of molecular weight on the process of phase separation is studied by time-resolved light scattering (TRLS), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), scanning microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that the phase separation rate decreases due to the preventing effect in-duced by low surface energy of fluorocarbon chain terminated polyetherimide. In addition, evolu-tion time of morphology is shortened and the domain size decreases with the introduction of fluorocarbon chain terminated polyetherimide. Furthermore, when the molecular weight of fluorocarbon chain terminated polyetherimide increases, the morphology can change from dis-persed phase to co-continuous phase. 13Boosting in-plane anisotropy by periodic phase engineering in two-dimensional VO_(2) single crystals显示文摘In-plane anisotropy(IPA)due to asymmetry in lattice structures provides an additional parameter for the precise tuning of characteristic polarization-dependent properties in two-dimensional(2D)materials,but the narrow range within which such method can modulate properties hinders significant development of related devices.Herein we present a novel periodic phase engineering strategy that can remarkably enhance the intrinsic IPA obtainable from minor variations in asymmetric structures.By introducing alternant monoclinic and rutile phases in 2D VO_(2)single crystals through the regulation of interfacial thermal strain,the IPA in electrical conductivity can be reversibly modulated in a range spanning two orders of magnitude,reaching an unprecedented IPA of 113.Such an intriguing local phase engineering in 2D materials can be well depicted and predicted by a theoretical model consisting of phase transformation,thermal expansion,and friction force at the interface,creating a frame-work applicable to other 2D materials.Ultimately,the considerable adjustability and reversibility of the presented strategy provide opportunities for future polarization-dependent photoelectric and optoelectronic devices.Meng Ran Chao Zhao Xiang Xu Xiao Kong Younghee Lee Wenjun Cui Zhi-Yi Hu Alexander Roxas Zhengtang Luo Huiqiao Li Feng Ding Lin Gan Tianyou Zhai 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,3:0
14Carbon-based materials for electrochemical dechlorination显示文摘Electrochemical dechlorination reaction(EDR)is a promising,environmentally friendly,and economically profitable technology for treating chlorinated organic pollutants.For efficient environmental protection,electrocatalysts with high stability and low cost are of extremely significance to the development of EDR technology.Carbon-based materials have aroused broad interest as electrocatalysts for many electrochemical reactions due to their characteristics including large specific surface area,controllable structure,good conductivity,and chemical stability.For EDR,the carbon-based materials also show many unique superiorities,like strong adsorption capacity to chlorinated organic compounds(COCs),excellent catalytic activity and stability,and environmental compatibility.This review starts with a detailed summary on the mechanisms of electrochemical dechlorination(direct and indirect electron transfer pathway)and factors affecting the effectiveness of EDR.Then the paper comprehensively overviews the current progresses of carbon-based materials for EDR of COCs,following their two major application scenarios,i.e.,directly as electrocatalysts and as advanced supports for other catalysts.Moreover,the formation of different active sites in carbon-based electrocatalysts and their EDR activities are analyzed.Finally,the current challenges and perspectives in this field are discussed.This review will provide an in-depth understanding for the design of advanced carbon-based materials and promote the development of EDR technology.Guoqiang Gan Guo Hong Wenjun Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,11:0
15Enhanced Beta2-band Oscillations Denote Auditory Hallucination in Schizophrenia Patients and a Monkey Model of Psychosis显示文摘An electroencephalographic(EEG)signature of auditory hallucinations(AHs)is important for facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of AHs in schizophrenia.We recorded EEG from 25 schizophrenia patients with recurrent AHs.During the period of AHs,EEG recordings exhibited significantly elevated beta2-band power in the temporal region,as compared to those recorded in the absence of AHs or during stimulation with verbal sounds.We further generated methamphetamine-treated rhesus monkeys exhibiting psychosis-like behaviors,including repetitive sudden searching actions in the absence of external intrusion,suggesting the occurrence of AHs.Epidural EEG beta2-band power in the temporal region of these monkeys was enhanced immediately after methamphetamine treatment and positively correlated with the frequency of sudden searching actions.Thus,the enhancement of temporal beta2-band oscillations represents a signature for AHs in both patients and a monkey model of psychosis,and this monkey model can be used for developing closed-loop neuromodulation approaches for the treatment of refractory AHs in schizophrenia.Shuo Ma Tianzhen Chen Wenjun Jia Jie Liu Shihan Ding Puzhe Li Hong Gan Dapeng Zhang Shuxin Shao Mu-Ming Poo Min Zhao Bomin Sun Jian Jiang 2024Neuroscience Bulletin2024,40,3:0
16Late Quaternary Slip Behavior of the Jinqianghe Fault in the Middle Qilian-Haiyuan Fault Zone,Northeastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Qilian-Haiyuan fault zone in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau has been the source of strong earthquakes in the region.In its middle segment,the Jinqianghe fault is an important active fault within the Tianzhu seismic gap;however,little is known about its slip behavior.To present a new horizontal displacement distribution along this fault,we used WorldView-2 stereo pairs and unmanned aerial vehicle-based photogrammetry to construct digital elevation models to obtain a detailed tectono-geomorphic interpretation and geomorphic offsets.The offset marker measurements yielded 135 geomorphic displacements and 8 offset clusters.Radiocarbon dating was used to establish the regional age sequence of the geomorphic units in offset fluvial terraces at four study sites.The displacements and ages linked the offset clusters with the geomorphic unit sequence;the Holocene strike-slip rate of the Jinqianghe fault was estimated to 4.8-5.6 mm/a at~4-12 ka and 2.9-4.7 mm/a from~4 ka.Three recent earthquakes(with a recurrence interval of~1000 years)represent an active seismic period,revealing the potential seismic hazard along this fault because it has not ruptured in the last 1500 years.LIANG Shumin ZHENG Wenjun CHEN Gan ZHANG Peizhen ZHANG Dongli BI Haiyun YANG Xue ZHANG Yipeng DUAN Lei LU Bentian 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3:0
