2Advances and prospects of rare earth metal-organic frameworks in catalytic applications显示文摘In recent years,rare earth metal-organic frameworks(RE-MOFs)have attracted increasing attention because of abundant coordination behaviors,adjustable channels and stable networks.The various electron structures of rare earth ions contribute to the catalytic applications of RE-MOFs and their derivates.In this review,we systematically summarize the research progress that using RE-MOFs and their derivates as catalysts for organic reaction,photocatalytic reaction,and CO oxidation reaction.The major parts include synthetic strategies and catalytic applications of the RE-MOFs.Finally,impressive achievements of RE-MOF catalysts are emerging and a prospect is provided for the development of RE-MOF catalysts at the end of the review.Xiaochen Sun Kun Yuan Yawen Zhang 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,8:16
3Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. 5Highly Efficient and Stable Hydrogen Production in All pH Range by Two-Dimensional Structured Metal-Doped Tungsten Semicarbides显示文摘Transition-metal-doped tungsten semicarbide nanosheets(M-doped W_(2)C NSs,M=Fe,Co,and Ni)have been synthesized through carburization of the mixture of tungsten trioxide,polyvinylpyrrolidone,and metal dopant.Te nanosheets grow directly on the W mesh and have the lateral dimension of several hundreds of nm to a few�m with a thickness of few tens nm.It is demonstrated that the M-doped W_(2)C NSs exhibit superior electrocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Impressively,the Nidoped W_(2)C NSs(2 at%Ni)with the optimized HER activity show extremely low onset overpotentials of 4,9,and 19 mV and modest Tafel slopes of 39,51,and 87 mV dec−1 in acidic(pH=0),neutral(pH=7.2),and basic(pH=14)solutions,respectively,which is close to the commercial Pt/C catalyst.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations also demonstrate that the Gibbs free energy for H adsorption of Ni-W_(2)C is much closer to the optimal valueG_(H∗)=-0.073 eV as compared to-0.16 eV of W_(2)C.Furthermore,nearly 100%Faradaic efciency and long-term stability are obtained in those environments.Tis realization of highly tolerant metal semicarbide catalyst performing on par with commercial Pt/C in all range of pH ofers a key step towards industrially electrochemical water splitting.Edison H.Ang Khang N.Dinh Xiaoli Sun Ying Huang Jun Yang Zhili Dong Xiaochen Dong Wei Huang Zhiguo Wang Hua Zhang Qingyu Yan 2019Research2019,,1:7

7Genetic-algorithm-based deep neural networks for highly efficient photonic device design显示文摘While deep learning has demonstrated tremendous potential for photonic device design,it often demands a large amount of labeled data to train these deep neural network models.Preparing these data requires high-resolution numerical simulations or experimental measurements and cost significant,if not prohibitive,time and resources.In this work,we present a highly efficient inverse design method that combines deep neural networks with a genetic algorithm to optimize the geometry of photonic devices in the polar coordinate system.The method requires significantly less training data compared with previous inverse design methods.We implement this method to design several ultra-compact silicon photonics devices with challenging properties including power splitters with uncommon splitting ratios,a TE mode converter,and a broadband power splitter.These devices are free of the features beyond the capability of photolithography and generally in compliance with silicon photonics fabrication design rules.YANGMING REN LINGXUAN ZHANG WEIQIANG WANG XINYU WANG YUFANG LEI YULONG XUE XIAOCHEN SUN WENFU ZHANG 2021Photonics Research2021,9,6:6

10Experimental investigations on cavity-actuated under-expanded supersonic oscillating jet显示文摘As one type of potential flow control actuators, cavity-actuated supersonic jet oscillators,which consist of a 2-D convergent nozzle and two face to face cavities, need to be investigated deeply to get the knowledge of their oscillating feature and underlying mechanism. Wind tunnel testing are conducted under different back pressures in a vacuum-type wind tunnel for two supersonic jet oscillators, to obtain their characteristics and the conditions for jet oscillating. The experimental results show that the continuous, nearly symmetric or asymmetric flipping between the two cavities appears over certain nozzle pressure ratio(NPR) range for both oscillators according to schlieren visualizations. Compared to the free jet, the oscillating jet with large exit achieves larger mixing; the oscillating jet with small exit has less mixing, based on the analysis of jet axial peak velocity and the entrainment. 11Ultradurable,freeze-resistant,and healable MXene-based ionic gels for multi-functional electronic skin显示文摘Hydrogel is a potential matrix material of electronic-skins(E-skins)because of its excellent ductility,tunability,and biocompatibility.However,hydrogel-based E-Skins will inevitably lose their sensing performance in practical applications for water loss,physical damage,and ambient interferences.It remains a challenge to manufacture highly durable gel-based E-skins.Herein,an E-Skin is fabricated by introducing ionic liquids(ILs)into MXene-composited binary polymer network.The obtained ionic gel shows excellent mechanical properties,strong adhesion,and superior tolerance to harsh environments.The E-skin exhibits high sensitivity to both strain and pressure in a wide range of deformations,which enables a monitoring function for various human motions and physiological activities.Importantly,the E-skin shows consistent electrical response after being stored in the open air for 30 days and can be quickly healed by irradiation with 808 nm near-infrared light,originating from the photo-thermal effect induced self-healing acceleration.It is noteworthy that the E-skin also reveals a highly sensitive perception of temperature and near-infrared light,displaying the promising potential applications in the multifunctional flexible sensor.Yao Lu Xinyu Qu Siying Wang Ye Zhao Yanfang Ren Wenli Zhao Qian Wang Chencheng Sun Wenjun Wang Xiaochen Dong 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:2
12Recent advances of Cu-based hole transport materials and their interface engineering concerning different processing methods in perovskite solar cells显示文摘In recent years, perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have become a much charming photovoltaic technology and have triggered enormous studies worldwide, owing to their high efficiency, low cost and ease of preparation. The power conversion efficiency has rapidly increased by more than 6 times to the current 25.5% in the past decade. Hole transport materials (HTMs) are an indispensable part of PSCs, which great affect the efficiency, the cost and the stability of PSCs. Inorganic Cu-based p-type semiconductors are a kind of representative inorganic HTMs in PSCs due to their unique advantages of rich variety, low cost, excellent hole mobility, adjustable energy levels, good stability, low temperature and scalable processing ability. In this review, the research progress in new materials and the control of photoelectric properties of Cu-based inorganic HTMs were first summarized systematically. And then, concerning different processing methods, advances of the interface engineering of Cu-based hole transport layers (HTLs) in PSCs were detailly discussed. 13Comprehensive analysis of miRNA-gene regulatory network with clinical significance in human cancers显示文摘microRNAs(miRNAs),particularly the exosomal miRNAs have been widely used as biomarkers and promising therapeutic targets in cancer.However,a comprehensive analysis of miRNA-gene regulatory network with clinical significance remains scarce.The emergence of high-throughput multi-omics data over large,well-characterized patient cohorts provides an unprecedented opportunity to address this problem.Herein,we performed a clinic-centered analysis to identify cancer-associated miRNAs,miRNA-target axis.We first calculated the correlation among miRNA,mRNA and 75 unique clinico-pathological characteristics(CPCs)in 26 cancer types,and established an online resource(4CR).Interestingly,we found that the high expression of several DNA methylation-related enzymes was associated with adverse outcomes of cancer patients,and these genes were regulated by a cluster of miRNAs.Furthermore,by integrating exosomal miRNA and m RNA databases,we identified exosomal miRNA biomarkers for non-invasive cancer surveillance and therapy monitoring.Finally,we explored the role of CPC-related miRNAs for therapeutic effect prediction of drugs based on their shared targets.Our analysis pipeline illustrated the significance of clinic-centered analysis in miRNA-gene pair identification and provided helpful clues for future cancer studies.Xiuliang Cui Yang Liu Wen Sun Jin Ding Xiaochen Bo Hongyang Wang 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,8:2

17Exosomes secreted from cardiomyocytes suppress the sensitivity of tumor ferroptosis in ischemic heart failure显示文摘Heart failure(HF)patients in general have a higher risk of developing cancer.Several animal studies have indicated that cardiac remodeling and HF remarkably accelerate tumor progression,highlighting a cause-and-effect relationship between these two disease entities.Targeting ferroptosis,a prevailing form of non-apoptotic cell death,has been considered a promising therapeutic strategy for human cancers.Exosomes critically contribute to proximal and distant organ-organ communications and play crucial roles in regulating diseases in a paracrine manner.However,whether exosomes control the sensitivity of cancer to ferroptosis via regulating the cardiomyocyte-tumor cell crosstalk in ischemic HF has not yet been explored.Here,we demonstrate that myocardial infarction(MI)decreased the sensitivity of cancer cells to the canonical ferroptosis activator erastin or imidazole ketone erastin in a mouse model of xenograft tumor.Post-MI plasma exosomes potently blunted the sensitivity of tumor cells to ferroptosis inducers both in vitro in mouse Lewis lung carcinoma cell line LLC and osteosarcoma cell line K7M2 and in vivo with xenograft tumorigenesis model.The expression of miR-22-3p in cardiomyocytes and plasma-exosomes was significantly upregulated in the failing hearts of mice with chronic MI and of HF patients as well.Incubation of tumor cells with the exosomes isolated from post-MI mouse plasma or overexpression of miR-22-3p alone abrogated erastin-induced ferroptotic cell death in vitro.Cardiomyocyte-enriched miR-22-3p was packaged in exosomes and transferred into tumor cells.Inhibition of cardiomyocyte-specific miR-22-3p by AAV9 sponge increased the sensitivity of cancer cells to ferroptosis.ACSL4,a pro-ferroptotic gene,was experimentally established as a target of miR-22-3p in tumor cells.Taken together,our findings uncovered for the first time that MI suppresses erastin-induced ferroptosis through releasing miR-22-3p-enriched exosomes derived from cardiomyocytes.Therefore,targeting exosome-mediated cardiomyocyte/tumor pathological communication may offer a novel approach for the ferroptosis-based antitumor therapy.Ye Yuan Zhongting Mei Zhezhe Qu Guanghui Li Shuting Yu Yingqi Liu Kuiwu Liu Zhihua Shen Jiaying Pu Yanquan Wang Changhao Wang Zhiyong Sun Qian Liu Xiaochen Pang Ao Wang Zijing Ren Tong Wang Ying Liu Jinhuan Hong Jiajie Xie Xin Li Zhonghua Wang Weijie Du Baofeng Yang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:2
18Experimental investigation on a cavity-step-actuated supersonic oscillating jet显示文摘Wind tunnel testing is conducted at different back pressures in a vacuum-type wind tunnel for a novel supersonic fluidic oscillator which consists of a two-dimensional Laval nozzle, a rectangular cavity and a backward step, to obtain its characteristics and the conditions for jet oscillating. The experimental results show that periodic asymmetrical flipping of the supersonic jet appears over certain nozzle pressure ratio(NPR) range according to schlieren visualization and pressure fluctuations. The jet flipping appears only when the jet is over expanded. The normalized average amplitude of the lateral pressure difference acting on the roofs of the cavity and the step varies around 0.2 while the periodic flipping appears.
