1Isolation and characterization of atrazine-degrading Arthrobacter sp. AD26 and use of this strain in bioremediation of contaminated soil显示文摘A bacterial strain (AD26) capable of utilizing atrazine as a sole nitrogen source for growth was isolated from an industrial wastewater sample by enrichment culture. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing identified AD26 as an Arthrobacter sp. PCR assays indicated that AD26 contained atrazine-degrading genes trzN and atzBC. The trzN gene of AD26 only differs from the trzN of Arthrobacter aurescens TC1 by one base (A→T at 907) and one amino acid (Met→Leu at 303). The specific activity of trzN of AD26 in crude cell extract was 0.28 U/mg, which was 1.2 times that of TC1. This strain has shown faster growth and atrazine-degradation rates in atrazine-containing minimal media than two well characterized atrazine-degrading bacteria, Pseudomonas sp. ADP and Arthrobacter aurescens TC1. After incubating for 48 h at 30°C, the OD600 of AD26 reached 2.6 compared with 1.33 of ADP. AD26 was capable of degrading 500 mg/L of atrazine in minimal medium at 95% in 72 h, while the degradative rates by TC1 and ADP were only 90% and 86%, respectively. A bioremediation trial of contaminated soil has indicated that AD26 can degrade as high as 98% of atrazine contained in soil (300 mg/kg) after incubating for 20 d at 26°C, nominating this strain as a good candidate for use in bioremediation programs.Li Qingyan Li Ying Zhu Xikun Cai Baoli 2008Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,10:18
2Microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability of AlMgSiScZr alloy printed by laser powder bed fusion显示文摘The new generation of Sc and Zr modified Al alloys has been attracted wide concerns in aerospace industry,owing to the excellent mechanical performances and superior thermal stability than other normal Al alloys.By microalloying with Sc and Zr,the Al3(Sc,Zr)particle forms as the grain refiner during the solidification,which is extremely beneficial for the laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)processed Al alloys.In this study,a new type Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was additively manufactured by LPBF,and the microstructure,tensile properties and thermal stability were studied in detail.By using a single melt-67°scanning strategy,the LPBF-processed specimen with a relative density of 99.4%and tensile strength of 487.7 MPa was obtained at 160 W-200 mm/s.And this AlMgSiScZr alloy can still exhibit an excellent tensile strength of 393.9 MPa at a moderate temperature of 473 K.After the aging treatment,the tensile properties further increased due to the precipitate hardening of Mg2Si and Al3(Sc,Zr),and the maximum value(580 MPa)was reached at an aging time of 10 h.The average crystal size was almost unchanged after aging treated at 325℃and 24 h,indicating this AlMgSiScZr alloy has an improved thermal stability.The AlMgSiScZr alloy is recommended to substitute some particular titanium alloys in aerospace field afterwards.Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Ze Tian Nannan Lu Xikun Qin Jingwei Liang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,10:4
3Comprehensive Marine Observing Experiment Based on High-Altitude Large Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(South China Sea Experiment2020 of the “Petrel Project”)显示文摘In collaboration with 12 other institutions, the Meteorological Observation Center of the China Meteorological Administration undertook a comprehensive marine observation experiment in the South China Sea using the Yilong-10 high-altitude large unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV). The Yilong-10 UAV carried a self-developed dropsonde system and a millimeter-wave cloud radar system. In addition, a solar-powered unmanned surface vessel and two drifting buoys were used. The experiment was further supported by an intelligent, reciprocating horizontal drifting radiosonde system that was deployed from the Sansha Meteorological Observing Station, with the intent of producing a stereoscopic observation over the South China Sea. Comprehensive three-dimensional observations were collected using the system from 31 July to2 August, 2020. This information was used to investigate the formation and development processes of Typhoon Sinlaku(2020). The data contain measurements of 21 oceanic and meteorological parameters acquired by the five devices, along with video footage from the UAV. The data proved very helpful in determining the actual location and intensity of Typhoon Sinlaku(2020). The experiment demonstrates the feasibility of using a high-altitude, large UAV to fill in the gaps between operational meteorological observations of marine areas and typhoons near China, and marks a milestone for the use of such data for analyzing the structure and impact of a typhoon in the South China Sea. 4Prussian Blue Analogues in Aqueous Batteries and Desalination Batteries显示文摘In the applications of large-scale energy storage,aqueous batteries are considered as rivals for organic batteries due to their environmentally friendly and low-cost nature.However,carrier ions always exhibit huge hydrated radius in aqueous electrolyte,which brings difficulty to find suitable host materials that can achieve highly reversible insertion and extraction of cations.Owing to open threedimensional rigid framework and facile synthesis,Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)receive the most extensive attention among various host candidates in aqueous system.Herein,a comprehensive review on recent progresses of PBAs in aqueous batteries is presented.Based on the application in different aqueous systems,the relationship between electrochemical behaviors(redox potential,capacity,cycling stability and rate performance)and structural characteristics(preparation method,structure type,particle size,morphology,crystallinity,defect,metal atom in highspin state and chemical composition)is analyzed and summarized thoroughly.It can be concluded that the required type of PBAs is different for various carrier ions.In particular,the desalination batteries worked with the same mechanism as aqueous batteries are also discussed in detail to introduce the application of PBAs in aqueous systems comprehensively.This report can help the readers to understand the relationship between physical/chemical characteristics and electrochemical properties for PBAs and find a way to fabricate high-performance PBAs in aqueous batteries and desalination batteries.Chiwei Xu Zhengwei Yang Xikun Zhang Maoting Xia Huihui Yan Jing Li Haoxiang Yu Liyuan Zhang Jie Shu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:4
5Experimental Study on the Flow Around Two Tandem Cylinders with Unequal Diameters显示文摘In this paper, flow around two circular cylinders in tandem arrangement with unequal diameters has been investigated using the particle image velocimetry technique(PIV) in a water channel. The upstream to downstream diameter ratio was kept constant at d/D = 2/3, the centre-to-centre distance was varied from 1.2D to 5D and the Reynolds number was varied from 1200 to 4800. The flow characteristics were analyzed through ensemble-averaged patterns of velocity, vorticity, normalized Reynolds stress contours and streamlines. Based on ensemble-averaged and instantaneous flow fields, different flow patterns, including single-wakeshedding at small spacing ratio, bi-stable flow behavior(alternating behavior of reattachment and vortex shedding) at intermediate spacing ratio and co-shedding pattern at large spacing ratio were observed. The effects of Reynolds number and the centre-to-centre spacing ratio on flow patterns and turbulent characteristics were also investigated. It was found that the diameter ratio appears to have a certain effect on the flow patterns at intermediate spacing ratios, where the reattachment of shear layer depends on the lateral width of the wake flow in the lee of the upstream cylinder. 6Cu3(PO4)2: Novel Anion Convertor for Aqueous Dual‑Ion Battery显示文摘Electrode materials which can reversibly react with anions are of interest for aqueous dual-ion batteries.Herein,we propose a novel anion electrode,Cu3(PO4)2,for constructing an aqueous dual-ion cell.The Cu3(PO4)2 electrode can operate in a quasi-neutral condition and deliver a reversible capacity of 115.6 mAh g^−1 with a well-defined plateau at−0.17 V versus Ag/AgCl.Its reaction mechanism shows that Cu3(PO4)2 decomposes into Cu2O and subsequently is converted into Cu during the initial discharge process.In the following charge process,Cu is oxidized into Cu2O.It suggests Cu3(PO4)2 reacts with OH−ions instead of PO43−ions after the initial discharge process and its potential thereby depends upon the OH−ions concentration in electrolyte.Additionally,an aqueous dual-ion cell is built by using pretreated Cu3(PO4)2 and Na0.44MnO2 as anode and cathode,respectively.During cycling,OH−ions and Na^+ions in electrolyte can be stored and released.Such a cell can provide a discharge capacity of 52.6 mAh g^−1 with plateaus at 0.70 and 0.45 V,exhibiting the potential of application.This work presents an available aqueous dual-ion cell and provides new insights into renewable energy storage and adjustment of the OH−ions concentration in aqueous buffer solution.Haoxiang Yu Chenchen Deng Huihui Yan Maoting Xia Xikun Zhang Zhen‑Bo Wang Jie Shu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3:3
7Hydrogen Bond-Assisted Ultra-Stable and Fast Aqueous NH_(4)^(+)Storage显示文摘Aqueous ammonium ion batteries are regarded as eco-friendly and sustainable energy storage systems.And applicable host for NH_(4)^(+)in aqueous solution is always in the process of development.On the basis of density functional theory calcula-tions,the excellent performance of NH_(4)^(+)insertion in Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)is proposed,especially for copper hexacyanoferrate(CuHCF).In this work,we prove the outstanding cycling and rate performance of CuHCF via electrochemical analyses,delivering no capacity fading during ultra-long cycles of 3000 times and high capacity retention of 93.6%at 50 C.One of main contributions to superior performance from highly reversible redox reaction and structural change is verified during the ammoniation/de-ammoniation progresses.More importantly,we propose the NH_(4)^(+)diffusion mechanism in CuHCF based on con-tinuous formation and fracture of hydrogen bonds from a joint theoretical and experimental study,which is another essential reason for rapid charge transfer and superior NH_(4)^(+)storage.Lastly,a full cell by coupling CuHCF cathode and polyaniline anode is constructed to explore the practical application of CuHCF.In brief,the outstanding aqueous NH_(4)^(+)storage in cubic PBAs creates a blueprint for fast and sustainable energy storage.Xikun Zhang Maoting Xia Haoxiang Yu Junwei Zhang Zhengwei Yang Liyuan Zhang Jie Shu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,9:2

10An additively manufactured Al-14.1Mg-0.47Si-0.31Sc-0.17Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance显示文摘A novel Al-14.1 Mg-0.47 Si-0.31 Sc-0.17 Zr alloy was applied in the printing process of selective laser melting(SLM),and the corresponding microstructural feature,phase identification,tensile properties and corrosion behavior of the Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy were studied in detail.As fabricated at 160 W and 200 mm/s,the Mg content of bulk sample decreased to 11.7 wt%due to the element vaporization at high energy density,and the density of this additively manufactured Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy was 2.538 g/cm^(3),which is4.2%8.5%lighter than that of other SLM-processed Al alloys.After heat-treated(HT)at 325℃and 6 h,the microstructure was almost unchanged with an alternate distribution of fine equiaxed crystals and coarse columnar crystals.Nano-sized Al3(Sc,Zr)and Mg_(2)Si phases precipitated dispersedly in the Al matrix,and the tensile strength increased from 487.6 MPa to 578.4 MPa for precipitation strengthening and fine grain strengthening.With a fine grain size of 2.53μm,an excellent corrosion resistance was obtained for the as-printed(AP)Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy.While the corrosion resistance of HT sample decreased slightly for the formation of non-dense oxide layer and pitting corrosion induced by diffuse precipitation distribution.This SLM-printed Al Mg Si Sc Zr alloy with high specific strength,good thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance has broad prospects for the aerospace and automotive applications.Jiang Bi Zhenglong Lei Yanbin Chen Xi Chen Nannan Lu Ze Tian Xikun Qin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8:2
11Synthesis of SrAl_2O_4:Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+) phosphors by the coupling route of microemulsion with coprecipitation method显示文摘Nano-sized SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphors with good monodispersity and narrow size distribution were synthe- sized by the coupling of water-in-oil (W/O) microemulsion with coprecipitation method. The phase composition, morphol- ogy, crystallinity, excitation spectra, emission spectra, and afterglow decay of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+ nanophosphors were measured. It was found that the amount of surfactant that was used had an important effect on the shape and average size of the phosphor particles. SrAl2O4 phase of the phosphors showed an increase with the increase in calcination temperature. When the calcination temperature reached 1150°C, the fine crystal of SrAl2O4 was formed and the long afterglow lumines- cence could be obviously observed. In comparison with the samples prepared by the high-temperature solid-state method, the calcination temperature showed an obvious decrease and a clear blue shift occurred in the excitation and emission spec- tra of the sample. 19Fabrication of immobilized nickel nanoclusters decorated by CxNy species for cellulose conversion to C2,3 oxygenated compounds:Rational design via typical C-and N-sources显示文摘Production of chemicals and fuels from microcrystalline cellulose has inspired scholars’ attention. Deactivation of metallic catalysts including acid leaching and hydrothermal aggregation is still one of the core issues in these systems. To address these problems, we designed and fabricated a series of Ni-W/SiO2 catalysts, which were decorated by CxNy species using C-and N- sources and applied in cellulose conversion to C2,3 oxygenated compounds. The Ni-W/SiO2@CxNy catalysts, underwent complexing and selfassembling process, exhibited special heterojunctions, accompanying strong interactions mainly among Ni phase and CxNy layers. Catalytic results showed that the heterojunctions and outer CxNy layers extensively enhanced productions of hydroxyacetone(HDA) and ethylene glycol(EG) and promoted the hydrothermal stability through prospering in concentration of Lewis pairs from Ni–N—N structure and immobilizing the metallic nanoclusters. 48.25% of EG was yielded under 5.0 MPa H2 pressurized 240 ℃ water for 2.0 h. The Lewis pair further improved the formation of HDA with 20.92% yield. High hydrothermal stability of NiW/SiO2@CxNy catalyst was proved according to the recycling results and trace leaching concentration of Ni and W. 20Non-viral vector mediated CKb11 with folic acid modification regulates macrophage polarization and DC maturation to elicit immune response against cancer显示文摘The immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(TME)of cancer strongly hinders the anti-tumor immune responses,thereby resulting in disappointing responses to immunotherapy.Chemoattractive and promotive traits of chemokines exerted on leukocytes have garnered interest in improving the efficiency of immunotherapy by increasing the infiltration of immune cells in the TME.In this study,a folic acid(FA)-modified gene delivery system based on the self-assembly of DOTAP,MPEG-PCL-MPEG,and FA-PEG-PCL-PEG-FA,namely F-PPPD,was developed to deliver plasmids encoding the immunostimulating chemokine CKb11.The delivery of plasmid CKb11(pCKb11)by F-PPPD nanoparticles resulted in the high secretion of CKb11 from tumor cells,which successfully activated T cells,suppressed the M2 polarization of macrophages,promoted the maturation of dendritic cells(DCs),facilitated the infiltration of natural killer(NK)cells and inhibited the infiltration of immunosuppressive cells in tumor tissues.Administration of F-PPPD/pCKb11 also significantly suppressed the cancer progression.Our study demonstrated a nanotechnology-enabled delivery of pCKb11,that remodeled the immunosuppressive TME,for cancer treatment.Wen Nie Ting Yu Xiaoxiao Liu Bilan Wang Tingting Li Yin Wu Xikun Zhou Lu Ma Yunfeng Lin Zhiyong Qian Xiang Gao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,11:1
