2Characteristics of Early Eocene radiolarian assemblages of the Saga area,southern Tibet and their constraint on the closure history of the Tethys显示文摘Quantitative analysis of Early Eocene radiolarian assemblages discovered in the sedimentary mélange (accretionary prism) of the Saga area,southern Tibet provides new information to constrain the timing of Tethys closure and the initial collision of India and Eurasia. The radiolarian species of Saga include Amphisphaera coronata (Ehrenberg),Buryella hannae Bak & Barwicz-Piskorz,Buryella clinata Foreman,Buryella tetradica Foreman,Calocycloma ampulla (Ehrenberg),Lamptonium fabaeforme constrictum Riedel and Sanfilippo,Lamptonium pennatum Foreman,Lithomespilus coronatus Squinabol and Lamptonium (?) colymbus Foreman. The adequate and reliable correlation of these radiolarians specimens indicates that the assemblage is of Early Eocene in age. The age and depositional envi-ronment of these radiolarians testify that deep ocean basins existed between India Plate and Asia Plate during the Early Eocene. 3Investigation of micro vortex generators on controlling flow separation over SCCH high-lift configuration显示文摘For the problem that the flow separation on the flap lowers the aerodynamic performance of high lift system,an investigation was carried out on using micro vortex generators(VGs) to control the separation on flap of the swept constant chord half-model(SCCH) high-lift configuration,at a small to medium angle of attack,by experimental and numerical methods.The basic flow characteristics of SCCH landing configuration were analyzed by using numerical method to provide required information for the design of micro VGs.Then,by keeping the cruise configuration intact,the preliminary design procedure and design methods of micro VGs were established.In addition,the micro VGs were designed.The effects of VG's arrangement and geometric parameters,such as the arrangement mode,chordwise position,arrangement angle,height and spanwise distance,on controlling efficiency were investigated by using numerical method.Then the parameters of preliminary VGs were adjusted as the basis configuration for wind tunnel test.The experiments were accomplished in NH-2 wind tunnel for validating the numerical method,as well as obtaining the design principles and methods of micro VGs.The parameters of VGs were also optimized based on the experiments.The experimental results showed that the numerical design method can serve as an efficient and accurate design tool.The lift and drag were increased by 10% and 14%,respectively in landing state,which satisfied the requirements for landing.Finally,it was concluded that the established design principles and methods for micro VGs in this investigation can be used in engineering application.CHU HuBing ZHANG BinQian CHEN YingChun LI YaLin MAO Jun 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7:4

6Study on Wave-influenced resistance to erosion of silty soil in Huanghe (Yellow) River Delta显示文摘Along with the reduction of sediment yield of the Huanghe(Yellow) River,the erosion of the Huanghe River Delta aggravates,which has becomes an important factor that threatens the coastal protection structures.Starting from the study of the erosion resistibility of the sediment,this paper explores the internal mechanism of erosion phenomenon.This paper takes Diaokou as the study area and takes soils as samples which are mixed with clay into reconstructed samples whose ratio of clay content are 5%,10%,15%,20% respectively,then dynamic tri-axial apparatus is applied to simulate wave loads of different intensity;then the resistibility of soil to erosion is determined via concentrated flow test and the structural property is determined via the disintegration test.Finally,the resistibility to erosion and the structural property of the non-compressed soil samples are compared with the compressed data.The results indicates that liquefaction failure exerts significant influence on the resistibility to erosion and the structural property of the silty soil in the Huanghe River Delta.Therefore,in the future erosion studies,the liquefaction phenomenon shall be fully considered.QIN Hao CHEN Fang LIU Yalin 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,2:2
7Rapid phenotypic evolution with shallow genomic differentiation during early stages of high elevation adaptation in Eurasian Tree Sparrows显示文摘Known as the‘third polar region’,the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau represents one of the harshest highland environments in the world and yet a number of organisms thrive there.Previous studies of birds,animals and humans have focused on well-differentiated populations in later stages of phenotypic divergence.The adaptive processes during the initial phase of highland adaptation remain poorly understood.We studied a human commensal,the Eurasian Tree Sparrow,which has followed human agriculture to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Despite strong phenotypic differentiation at multiple levels,in particular in muscle-related phenotypes,highland and lowland populations show shallow genomic divergence and the colonization event occurred within the past few thousand years.In a one-month acclimation experiment investigating phenotypic plasticity,we exposed adult lowland tree sparrows to a hypoxic environment and did not observe muscle changes.Through population genetic analyses,we identified a signature of polygenic adaptation,whereby shifts in allele frequencies are spread across multiple loci,many of which are associated with muscle-related processes.Our results reveal a case of positive selection in which polygenic adaptation appears to drive rapid phenotypic evolution,shedding light on early stages of adaptive evolution to a novel environment.Yanhua Qu Chunhai Chen Ying Xiong Huishang She Yong E Zhang Yalin Cheng Shane DuBay Dongming Li Per G P Ericson Yan Hao Hongyuan Wang Hongfeng Zhao Gang Song Hailin Zhang Ting Yang Chi Zhang Liping Liang Tianyu Wu Jinyang Zhao Qiang Gao Weiwei Zhai Fumin Lei 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:2

13Transformer-Based Deep Learning Network for Tooth Segmentation on Panoramic Radiographs显示文摘Panoramic radiographs can assist dentist to quickly evaluate patients’overall oral health status.The accurate detection and localization of tooth tissue on panoramic radiographs is the first step to identify pathology,and also plays a key role in an automatic diagnosis system.However,the evaluation of panoramic radiographs depends on the clinical experience and knowledge of dentist,while the interpretation of panoramic radiographs might lead misdiagnosis.Therefore,it is of great significance to use artificial intelligence to segment teeth on panoramic radiographs.In this study,SWin-Unet,the transformer-based Ushaped encoder-decoder architecture with skip-connections,is introduced to perform panoramic radiograph segmentation.To well evaluate the tooth segmentation performance of SWin-Unet,the PLAGH-BH dataset is introduced for the research purpose.The performance is evaluated by F1 score,mean intersection and Union(IoU)and Acc,Compared with U-Net,Link-Net and FPN baselines,SWin-Unet performs much better in PLAGH-BH tooth segmentation dataset.These results indicate that SWin-Unet is more feasible on panoramic radiograph segmentation,and is valuable for the potential clinical application.SHENG Chen WANG Lin HUANG Zhenhuan WANG Tian GUO Yalin HOU Wenjie XU Laiqing WANG Jiazhu YAN Xue 2023Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2023,36,1:1
