1Development of a new method for analyzing free aluminum ions(Al^(3+)) in seafood using HPLC-ICP-MS显示文摘This paper presents a novel method for simultaneous online examination of free aluminum ions(Al3+)in seafood,using solidphase extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography online with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(SPEHPLC-ICP-MS),without post-column reaction.The optimum conditions for chromatographic separation of Al3+were achieved using an IonPac CS5A analytical column with an IonPac CG5A guard column.The mobile phase consisted of 0.040 mol/L LiOH,0.0060 mol/L 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid,and 0.090 mol/L CH3COOH(pH 4.7).The free Al3+ions in seafood were extracted by shaking with the mobile phase at 70°C for 2 h.SPE was conducted using an Oasis MCX,3cc/60 mg,30μm column,which was activated and equilibrated with 2 mL of methanol and 4 mL of deionized water before use.HCl(0.075 mol/L,2 mL)was used to wash inorganic Al from the SPE column.The standard recoveries of Al3+were all above 89%and the relative standard deviations were all below 5%.The proposed method was successfully used for the examination of Al3+in seafood samples,and the results were similar to those obtained using the static equilibrium method.SHANG DeRong ZHAO YanFang ZHAI YuXiu NING JinSong DING HaiYan SHENG XiaoFeng 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:8
2Research at channel level on the effect of LaCl3 on Radish (Raphanus satirus L.) vacuolar membrane显示文摘We recorded slow vacuolar (SV-type) channel currents of Radish vacuoles successfully for the first time by using the whole-vacuolar patch-clamp recording mode. SV-type currents would increase and threshold potentials of activation would shift towards more negative values with the increase of concentrations of cytosolic Ca2+. When 2.5 mmol/ L LaCl3 and 4 mmol/L EGTA were added to bath solutions, SV-type currents were suppressed remarkably. Then adding LaCl3 with different concentrations to pipette solutions, we found that LaCl3 with higher concentrations (>4 × 10-7mol/L) had a strong inhibitory effect on SV-type currents, while LaCl3 with lower concentrations (≤4 × 10-7mol/L) promoted channel currents. 4Identification of a key G-protein coupled receptor in mediating appressorium formation and fungal virulence against insects显示文摘Fungal G-protein coupled receptors(GPCRs)play essential roles in sensing environmental cues including host signals.The study of GPCR in mediating fungus-insect interactions is still limited.Here we report the evolution of GPCR genes encoded in the entomopathogenic Metarhizium species and found the expansion of Pth11-like GPCRs in the generalist species with a wide host range.By deletion of ten candidate genes MrGpr1–MrGpr10 selected from the six obtained subfamilies in the generalist M.robertsii,we found that each of them played a varied level of roles in mediating appressorium formation.In particular,deletion of MrGpr8 resulted in the failure of appressorium formation on different substrates and the loss of virulence during topical infection of insects but not during injection assays when compared with the wild-type(WT)strain.Further analysis revealed that disruption of MrGpr8 substantially impaired the nucleus translocation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)Mero-Fus3 but not the MAPK Mero-Slt2 during appressorium formation.We also found that the defect ofΔMrGpr8 could not be rescued with the addition of cyclic AMP for appressorium formation.Relative to the WT,differential expression of the selected genes have also been detected inΔMrGpr8.The results of this study may benefit the understanding of fungus-interactions mediated by GPCRs.Junmei Shang Yanfang Shang Guirong Tang Chengshu Wang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3:1
5TransTM:A device-free method based on time-streaming multiscale transformer for human activity recognition显示文摘RFID-based human activity recognition(HAR)attracts attention due to its convenience,noninvasiveness,and privacy protection.Existing RFID-based HAR methods use modeling,CNN,or LSTM to extract features effectively.Still,they have shortcomings:1)requiring complex hand-crafted data cleaning processes and 2)only addressing single-person activity recognition based on specific RF signals.To solve these problems,this paper proposes a novel device-free method based on Time-streaming Multiscale Transformer called TransTM.This model leverages the Transformer's powerful data fitting capabilities to take raw RFID RSSI data as input without pre-processing.Concretely,we propose a multiscale convolutional hybrid Transformer to capture behavioral features that recognizes singlehuman activities and human-to-human interactions.Compared with existing CNN-and LSTM-based methods,the Transformer-based method has more data fitting power,generalization,and scalability.Furthermore,using RF signals,our method achieves an excellent classification effect on human behaviorbased classification tasks.Experimental results on the actual RFID datasets show that this model achieves a high average recognition accuracy(99.1%).The dataset we collected for detecting RFID-based indoor human activities will be published.Yi Liu Weiqing Huang Shang Jiang Bobai Zhao Shuai Wang Siye Wang Yanfang Zhang 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,32,2:0
6Unraveling natural aging-induced properties change of sludge-derived hydrochar and enhanced cadmium sorption site heterogeneity显示文摘Hydrochar has potential applications in soil improvement and heavy metal remediation.Hydrochar would undergo the process of aging when introduced into the soil,altering its properties.However,recent studies have focused mainly on the artificial aging of hydrochar,which could not reveal the cumulative effect of multiple environmental factors.Therefore,the periodical monitoring of the property and sorption behavior of hydrochar after amending soils is necessary to better understand the multifaceted mechanisms associated with the natural aging of hydrochar.This study selected the sludge-derived hydrochar(SLHC)as a typical hydrochar and applied a 16-month rice-wheat-rice rotation to mimic the natural aging of hydrochar,focusing on changing properties and cadmium(Cd)sorption and literature contrast between aging strategies and biochar types.The porosity,O abundance,and ash content of 16-month aged SLHC increased by 37%,47%,and 8.5%,respectively,facilitating Cd sorption due to surface complexation,pore sorption,and precipitation.The sorption percentage of Cd to SLHC was in the range of 11-14%for SLHC-A0 and increased to 17-31%for SLHC-A4 and 20-32%for SLHC-A16 after natural aging.The natural aging of SLHC induced by ash content played an essential role in Cd sorption site heterogeneity.Linear regression analysis showed that aging strategies on sorption behavior significantly differed between biochars.Thus,studies involving natural aging with multiple environmental factors are preferred over those involving chemical or biological aging.Future studies should continue to explore the mechanisms of natural aging-induced heavy metal sorption between hydrochar and pyrochar.These results improve insights to appraise the potential of SLHC as soil amendments to alleviate the adverse effects of heavy metal contamination and provide an essential basis for researchers and staff in soil management and environmental prevention.Bingyu Wang Cenyao Shang Huifang Xie Haijun Sun Qiang Zhang Lihong Xue Filip M.G.Tack Deyi Hou Yanfang Feng Jörg Rinklebe 2022Biochar2022,4,1:0
7Bayesian-combined wavelet regressive modeling for hydrologic time series forecasting显示文摘Wavelet regression(WR)models are used commonly for hydrologic time series forecasting,but they could not consider uncertainty evaluation.In this paper the AM-MCMC(adaptive Metropolis-Markov chain Monte Carlo)algorithm was employed to wavelet regressive modeling processes,and a model called AM-MCMC-WR was proposed for hydrologic time series forecasting.The AM-MCMC algorithm is used to estimate parameters’uncertainty in WR model,based on which probabilistic forecasting of hydrologic time series can be done.Results of two runoff data at the Huaihe River watershed indicate the identical performances of AM-MCMC-WR and WR models in gaining optimal forecasting result,but they perform better than linear regression models.Differing from the WR model,probabilistic forecasting results can be gained by the proposed model,and uncertainty can be described using proper credible interval.In summary,parameters in WR models generally follow normal probability distribution;series’correlation characters determine the optimal parameters values,and further determine the uncertain degrees and sensitivities of parameters;more uncertain parameters would lead to more uncertain forecasting results and hard predictability of hydrologic time series.SANG YanFang SHANG LunYu WANG ZhongGen LIU ChangMing YANG ManGen 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,31:0
