| 1 | Fission track dating of the Cenozoic uplift in Mabian area, southern Sichuan Province, China显示文摘The apparent ages of samples are obtained from fission track dating of apatite samples collected from the fault zones in Mabian area, southern Sichuan Province. In addition, thermal history is simulated from the obtained data by applying AFT Solve Program, to acquire the thermal evolution history of the samples. The result shows that tectonically the Mabian area was relatively stable between 25 and 3 Ma, compared to the inner parts and other marginal areas of the Tibetan Plateau. The studied area had little response to the rapid uplift events that occurred for several times in the Tibetan Plateau during 25-3 Ma. The latest thermal event related to the activity of the Lidian fault zone (about 8 Ma ) is later than that of the Ebian fault zone (18-15 Ma ) to the west, indicating to some extent that the evolution of fault activity in the Mabian area has migrated from west to east. The latest extensive tectonic uplift occurred since about 3 Ma. As compared with the Xianshuihe fault zone, the Mabian area is closer to the east- ern margin of the plateau, while the time of fast cooling event in this area is later than that in the southeast segment of the Xianshuihe fault zone (3.6-3.46 Ma ). | 2 | Multi-3D hierarchical biomass-based carbon particles absorber for solar desalination and thermoelectric power generator显示文摘To meet challenges of the global energy crisis and the freshwater resources shortage,the interfacial solarto-steam conversion(ISSC)system was developed quickly in recent years.The photothermal materials play an important role in the ISSC system.We are devoted to developing a unique photothermal material integrating multiple 3 D design philosophy both at macroscopic and microscopic levels by employing the cost-effective and widespread resources like straw,rose and coffee grounds,for carbonization as solar absorbers.The biomass-based carbonized particles(CPs)possess three major advantages:(1)wide sizedistribution is accessible to form 3 D porous rough surface of absorber layer to enhance ability of light absorption;(2)the pristine hierarchical microstructure could absorb nearly all the incident light;(3)the intrinsic vascular bundles with pores on their lumen walls provide a rapid and omnidirectional transport for water and steam escape.A high-efficient solar steam device was fabricated based on the absorber material with its internal 3 D micro textures and external 3 D architectures.Under the illumination of 1 sun,the photothermal conversion efficiency of straw,rose and coffee CPs can reach 93.4%,92.8% and 76%,respectively.Simultaneously,a high-efficient solar thermoelectric generator(STEG)is made by coating CPs on a commercial thermoelectric generator and the maximum power of STEG can reach 538.0μW.Such scalable biomass-based photothermal materials and high-grade thermoelectric conversion capability could be applied to the water purification and the electricity production. | Hao Jiang Xuemin Geng Simin Li Hongyu Tu Jiliang Wang Lixia Bao Peng Yang Yanfen Wan | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,59,24: | 1 |
| 3 | Antimicrobial power of biosynthesized Ag nanoparticles using refined Ginkgo biloba leaf extracts显示文摘Silver nanoparticles(Ag NPs),relative to existing antibacterial agents,are more effective,less toxic and more economical,and have shown enormous potential for the nanomedicine application.In this work,we report a‘green’method for the rapid and efficient synthesis of Ag NPs using Ginkgo biloba extracts as reducing agent and capping agent.The properties of Ag NPs against fungi and bacteria were investigated.The results showed that the Ginkgo biloba extracts are crucial for the preparation of uniform and monodispersed Ag NPs.The prepared Ag NPs exhibited remarkable antibacterial activities.The minimum inhibitory concentrations of Ag NPs for Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were 0.044 and 0.088μg·mL−1,respectively.Moreover,Ag NPs exhibited excellent bactericidal performance against MDR-Pseudomonas aeruginosa.It was found that the effect of the antibacterial activity of Ag NPs on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was tightly related to the reactive oxygen species accumulation.This research provides guidelines for the efficient green synthesis of Ag NPs and its antibacterial applications. | Wenbo ZHUANG Dafeng HU Xudong ZHANG Kai XIONG Xiao DING Jian LU Yong MAO Peng YANG Chao LIU Yanfen WAN | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Oscillation in Response and Recovery Properties of SnO_2 Gas Sensor显示文摘Six kinds of Sn(OH)_4 precipitates were prepared by the chemical precipitation method (liquid-phase),of which the pH values are 3.0 (sample 1),4.5 (sample 2),6.0 (sample 3),7.5 (sample 4),9.0 (sample 5) and 10.5 (sample 6),respectively.
