7Chemical vapor deposition of monolayer WS2 nano- sheets on Au foils toward direct application in hydrogen evolution显示文摘Monolayer tungsten disulfide (WS2), a typical member of the semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenide family has drawn considerable interest because of its unique properties. Intriguingly the edge of WS2 exhibits an ideal hydrogen binding energy which makes WS2 a potential alternative to Pt-based electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Here, we demonstrate for the first time the successful synthesis of uniform monolayer WS2 nanosheets on centimeter- scale Au foils using a facile, low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method. The edge lengths of the universally observed triangular WS2 nanosheets are tunable from -100 to N1,000 nm. The WS2 nanosheets on Au foils featuring abundant edges were then discovered to be efficient catalysts for the HER, exhibiting a rather high exchange current density of -30.20 μA/cm2 and a small onset potential of Nl10 mV. The effects of coverage and domain size (which correlate closely with the active edge density of WS2) on the electrocatalytic activity were investigated. 8Multimodal hyperspectral remote sensing:an overview and perspective显示文摘Since the advent of hyperspectral remote sensing in the 1980 s,it has made important achievements in aerospace and aviation field and been applied in many fields.Conventional hyperspectral imaging spectrometer extends the number of spectral bands to dozens or hundreds,and provides spatial distribution of the reflected solar radiation from the scene of observation at the same time.Nowadays,with the fast development of new technology in the fields of information and photoelectricity sensing,and the popularity of unmanned aerial vehicle,hyperspectral remote sensing imaging presents the new trends of multimodality and acquires integration information while keeping high or very-high spectral resolution,especially,high temporal even real time sensing and stereo sensing.Therefore,three important modes of hyperspectral imaging come into existence:(1)multitemporal hyperspectral imaging,which refers to the observation of same region at different dates;(2)hyperspectral video imaging,which captures full frame spectral images in real-time;(3)hyperspectral stereo imaging,which obtains the full dimension information(including 2D image,elevation,and spectra)of observed scene.Along this perspective,firstly,the current researches on hyperspectral remote sensing and image processing are briefly reviewed,and then,comprehensive descriptions of the aforementioned three main hyperspectral imaging modes are carried out from the following four aspects:fundamental principle of new mode of hyperspectral imaging,corresponding scientific data acquisition,data processing and application,and potential challenges in data representation,feature learning and interpretation.Through the analysis of development trend of hyperspectral imaging and current research situation,we hope to provide a direction for future research on multimodal hyperspectral remote sensing.Yanfeng GU Tianzhu LIU Guoming GAO Guangbo REN Yi MA Jocelyn CHANUSSOT Xiuping JIA 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,2:6
9Exploring Seasonal and Circadian Rhythms in Structural Traits of Field Maize from LiDAR Time Series显示文摘Plant growth rhythm in structural traits is important for better understanding plant response to the ever-changing environment.Terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)is a well-suited tool to study structural rhythm under field conditions.Recent studies have used TLS to describe the structural rhythm of trees,but no consistent patterns have been drawn.Meanwhile,whether TLS can capture structural rhythm in crops is unclear.Here,we aim to explore the seasonal and circadian rhythms in maize structural traits at both the plant and leaf levels from time-series TLS.The seasonal rhythm was studied using TLS data collected at four key growth periods,including jointing,bell-mouthed,heading,and maturity periods.Circadian rhythms were explored by using TLS data acquired around every 2 hours in a whole day under standard and cold stress conditions.Results showed that TLS can quantify the seasonal and circadian rhythm in structural traits at both plant and leaf levels.(1)Leaf inclination angle decreased significantly between the jointing stage and bell-mouthed stage.Leaf azimuth was stable after the jointing stage.(2)Some individual-level structural rhythms(e.g.,azimuth and projected leaf area/PLA)were consistent with leaf-level structural rhythms.(3)The circadian rhythms of some traits(e.g.,PLA)were not consistent under standard and cold stress conditions.(4)Environmental factors showed better correlations with leaf traits under cold stress than standard conditions.Temperature was the most important factor that significantly correlated with all leaf traits except leaf azimuth.This study highlights the potential of time-series TLS in studying outdoor agricultural chronobiology.Shichao Jin Yanjun Su Yongguang Zhang Shilin Song Qing Li Zhonghua Liu Qin Ma Yan Ge LingLi Liu Yanfeng Ding Frédéric Baret Qinghua Guo 2021Plant Phenomics2021,3,1:5
10The association between early-onset cardiac events caused by neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy in triple-negative breast cancer patients and some novel autophagy-related polymorphisms in their genomic DNA: a real-world study显示文摘Background:An increasing number of cancer patients die of cardiovascular diseases.The cardiotoxicity of chemo-therapy is particularly important in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)with limited therapeutic options.Cardiac autophagy is an important mechanism of cardiotoxicity.This research was aimed to investigate the cardiotoxicity of chemotherapy in TNBC,screen the susceptible population,and determine the relationship between cardiotoxicity and autophagy-related polymorphisms.Methods:From a total of 2450 stage I-III TNBC patients,147 met the inclusion criteria and finally recruited.Electro-cardiography(ECG)was performed before most chemotherapy cycles,and echocardiography(UCG)was performed according to clinical needs.All ECG and UCG records were re-interpreted by cardiologists at the National Center for Cardiovascular Disease,Fuwai Hospital.According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information and the Catalog of Somatic Mutations in Cancer database,we selected 25 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)related to autophagy and genotyped the 147 TNBC patients.Paired-sample T tests,Chi squared tests,and logistic regression models were employed for the analysis.Results:Only 46(31.3%)patients had normal ECG records after every chemotherapy cycle.Among the 16 patients who underwent UCG,2(12.5%)had a reversible decrease of left ventricular ejection fraction.The use of anthracyclines and excessive alcohol consumption were risk factors of ECG abnormalities.With the continuation of chemotherapy,heart rate gradually increased.Anthracyclines were associated with QRS duration abnormalities(P=0.043).After genotyping for 25 autophagy-related SNPs,we found that the G allele of autophagy-related 13(ATG13)rs10838611 was significantly associated with ECG abnormalities(odds ratio=2.258,95%confidence interval=1.318-3.869;P=0.003).Conclusion:ECG abnormalities caused by chemotherapy are common in the real world.Autophagy-related SNPs are associated with chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity,thereby providing new evidence for autophagy as a cause of chemotherapy-induced cardiac damage.Binliang Liu Tao An Meiying Li Zongbi Yi Chunxiao Li Xiaoying Sun Xiuwen Guan Lixi Li Yanfeng Wang Yuhui Zhang Binghe Xu Fei Ma Yixin Zeng 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:5

14Influence of N doping and the functional groups of graphene on a RGO/TiO2 composite photocatalyst显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide(RGO)assisted TiO2 composite photocatalysts have attracted increased attention because of their high photocatalytic performance under both UV-and visible-light irradiation.However,the corresponding properties under the long wavelength irradiation is far from expected.In this study,a series of RGO samples with well-designed N impurity and optimized surface functional groups are prepared and employed during hybridization with TiO2(named N-RGO/TiO2).The coupling between the doped N atoms and surface functional groups is analyzed based on the resulting photocatalytic performances,and the specific mechanism is revealed by the EPR,IR and lifetime of the photoinduced electrons.After comparing the corresponding performances of the RGO/TiO2 and RGO/N-TiO2 specimens,the results show that the surface functional groups of the RGO serve as a precondition to achieveπ-d coupling between the graphene basal plane and TiO2 nanoparticles,while N atoms in the RGO enhance the resulting photoactivity under a long wavelength range(>510 nm).The findings provide a potential approach to promote the photocatalytic properties of graphene-based composite photocatalysts with the low-energy incident photons.TANG Bo HE YanFeng ZHANG ZhenYu WANG ZhengWei JI Li MA TingTing LI Sen DAI YuanZhe ZHANG GuoLiang 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,6:3
15Effects of stocking density on the growth and immunity of Atlantic salmon salmo salar reared in recirculating aquaculture system(RAS)显示文摘Atlantic salmon reared in recirculating aquaculture system(RAS) may lead to inappropriately high stocking density, because ?sh live in a limited space. Finding the suitable stocking density of Atlantic salmon reared in RAS is very important for RAS industry. In this paper, the in?uence of stocking density on growth and some stress related physiological factors were investigated to evaluate the ef fects of stocking density. The ?sh were reared for 220 days at ?ve densities(A: 24 kg/m^3; B: 21 kg/m^3; C: 15 kg/m^3; D: 9 kg/m^3 and E: 6 kg/m^3). The results show that 30 kg/m^3 might be the maximum density which RAS can af ford in China. The stocking densities under 30 kg/m^3 have no ef fect on mortality of Atlantic salmon reared in RAS. However, the speci?c growth rate(SGR), ?nal weight and weight gain in the high density group were signi?cantly lower than the lower density groups and middle density groups. Moreover, feed conversion rate(FCR) had a negative correlation with density. Plasma hormone T_3 and GH showed signi?cant decrease with the increase of the stocking density of the experiment. Furthermore, thyroid hormone(T 3), GH(growth hormone) activities were decreased with stocking density increase. However, plasma cortisol, GOT(glutamic oxalacetic transaminase) and GPT(glutamic pyruvic transaminase) activities were increase with stocking density increase. And the stocking density has no ef fects on plasma lysozyme of Atlantic salmon reared in RAS. 18Analyzing the general biased data by additive risk model显示文摘This paper proposes a unified semiparametric method for the additive risk model under general biased sampling. By using the estimating equation approach, we propose both estimators of the regression parameters and nonparametric function. An advantage is that our approach is still suitable for the lengthbiased data even without the information of the truncation variable. Meanwhile, large sample properties of the proposed estimators are established, including consistency and asymptotic normality. 19Triangulation of red sprites observed above a mesoscale convective system in North China显示文摘The triangulation of red sprites was obtained, based on concurrent observations over a mesoscale convective system(MCS) in North China from two stations separated by about 450 km. In addition, broadband sferics from the sprite-producing lightning were measured at five ground stations, making it possible to locate and identify the individual causative lightning discharges for different elements in this dancing sprite event. The results of our analyses indicate that the sprites were produced above the trailing stratiform region of the MCS, and their parent strokes were located mainly in the peripheral area of the stratiform. The lateral offset between sprites and causative strokes ranges from a few km to more than 50 km. 20Effect of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil on the expression of p21 and CDK4 in HepG2 cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To research the anti-cancer mechanism of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil in the human hepatoma cell line Hep G2.METHODS:Gas chromatography was used to analyze the components of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris).We tested the inhibitory effect of Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil on the human hepatoma cell line Hep G2 in vitro using 3-(4,5-Dimet hylt hiazol-2-yl)-2,5-dip henyltetrazoliumbromide assays.Fluorescence activating cell sorter analysis was used to examine the levels of apoptosis,and western blot and immunofluorescence were used to detect the expression of p21,p-p21 and CDK4 proteins.RESULTS:Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris)oil contains 45 ingredients,and L-ascorbic acid 2,6-bispalmitate was the main component and accounted for 44.96% of total drive-off peak area.Other components included(Z)-14-met hyl-8-exadecenal-acetal(8.56%),phytol(7.74%) and lauric acid(6.31%).Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris)oil treatment reduced the proliferation of Hep G2 cells and the half growth inhibition concentration(IC50) was 2.03 mg/m L.Furthermore,we also observed significantly increased Hep G2 cell apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner(P < 0.05).Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil significantly increased the expression of p21 and p-p21 and significantly decreased the expression of CDK4 in Hep G2 cells compared with controls(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Our results showed that Fanbaicao(Herba Potentillae Discoloris) oil has anti-cancer activities in Hep G2 cells,which is probably related to the upregulation of p21 and p-p21 and downregulation of CDK4 expression.Liu Lei Chen Guang Wang Baixin Chen Liping Wang Shuqiu Liu Zhixin Ma Xiaoru Wang Fangfang Liang Yanfeng Wu Jiamei Yang Zhiwei 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,4:1
