1Diffusion-induced stress in inhomogeneous materials:concentration-dependent elastic modulus显示文摘By incorporating the contribution of solute atoms to the Helmholtz free energy of solid solution,a linear relation is derived between Young's modulus and the concentration of solute atoms.The solute atoms can either increase or decrease Young's modulus of solid solution,depending on the first-order derivative of the Helmholtz free energy with respect to the concentration of solute atoms.Using this relation,a closed-form solution of the chemical stress in an elastic plate is obtained when the diffusion behavior in the plate can be described by the classical Fick's second law with convection boundary condition on one surface and zero flux on the other surface.The plate experiences tensile stress after short diffusion time due to asymmetrical diffusion,which will likely cause surface microcracking.The results show that the effect of the concentration dependence of Young's modulus on the evolution of chemical stress in elastic plates is negligible if the change of Young's modulus due to the diffusive motion of solute atomsis is not compatible in magnitude with Young's modulus of the pure material.Also,a new diffusion equation is developed for strictly regular binary solid solution.The effective diffusivity is a nonlinear function of the concentration of solute atoms.YANG FuQian 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,6:7
2Molecular kinetic theory of boundary slip on textured surfaces by molecular dynamics simulations显示文摘A theoretical model extended from the Frenkel-Eyring molecular kinetic theory(MKT)was applied to describe the boundary slip on textured surfaces.The concept of the equivalent depth of potential well was adopted to characterize the solid-liquid interactions on the textured surfaces.The slip behaviors on both chemically and topographically textured surfaces were investigated using molecular dynamics(MD)simulations.The extended MKT slip model is validated by our MD simulations under various situations,by constructing different complex surfaces and varying the surface wettability as well as the shear stress exerted on the liquid.This slip model can provide more comprehensive understanding of the liquid flow on atomic scale by considering the influence of the solid-liquid interactions and the applied shear stress on the nano-flow.Moreover,the slip velocity shear-rate dependence can be predicted using this slip model,since the nonlinear increase of the slip velocity under high shear stress can be approximated by a hyperbolic sine function.WANG LiYa WANG FengChao YANG FuQian WU HengAn 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,11:4

14One-dimensional analysis of the coupling between diffusion and deformation in a bilayer electrode显示文摘Diffusion-induced deformation during electrochemical cycling plays an important role in determining structural durability of the electrodes in lithium-ion batteries. In this work, we investigate the coupling between diffusion and stress in the boundary conditions of a bilayer electrode, and analyze the evolution of the lithium concentration and stress. Numerical simulations are performed under four different combinations of the boundary conditions between diffusion and mechanical deformation. The stress distributes uniformly in the bilayer electrode for all four cases. The concentration of lithium at the interface is discontinuous for the cases with fixed boundary conditions and is continuous for the cases with a surface at stress-free state. For the bilayer electrode fixed at both surfaces, the magnitude of the stress in the bilayer electrode increases with the increase of the diffusion time. 17A simple model for diffusion-induced dislocations during the lithiation of crystalline materials显示文摘Assuming that the lithiation reaction occurs randomly in individual small particles in the vicinity of the reaction front, a simple model of diffusioninduced dislocations was developed. The diffusion-induced dislocations are controlled by the misfit strain created by the diffusion of solute atoms or the phase transformation in the vicinity of the reaction front. The dislocation density is proportional to the total surface area of the 'lithiated particle' and inversely proportional to the particle volume. 18Generalized Butler-Volmer relation on a curved electrode surface under the action of stress显示文摘According to the principle of thermal activation process, the energy state of a material under the action of stress is a function of local stress. A generalized Butler-Volmer relationship for the electrode reaction on the surface of a curved electrode is derived,which takes account of the effects of local stress and the radius of mean curvature. From this relationship, the overpotential is found to be proportional to hydrostatic stress and the activation volume under the condition of open circuit. 19Entropy change-induced elastic softening of lithiated materials显示文摘To understand the ‘‘elastic softening'' of Li–Si alloys for the development of Li-ion batteries, the effect of stress-induced change of entropy on the mechanical properties of lithiated materials is examined within the theories of thermodynamics and linear elasticity. An approach is presented whereby the change of Gibbs free energy is governed by the change of the mixture entropy due to stress-induced migration of mobile atoms, from which the contribution of the change of the mixture entropy to the apparent elastic modulus of lithiated materials is determined. 20Research on the Differences of Media Reports on COVID-19 Based on Agenda-Setting Theory显示文摘Objective To study the news reports on COVID-19 through comparing the forwarding volume and posting time of microblogs from the government media and non-government media and exploring the advantages and disadvantages of the two in mastering discourse power in public health emergencies,so to provide a reference for the government department to cope with online public opinion.Methods The GooSeeker data mining tool was used to collect the data of the six microblog accounts that reported the COVID-19 from January 1 to June 15,2020.Then the data were analyzed from two aspects of microblog forwarding volume and posting time.Results and Conclusion According to the analysis of the forwarding volume data,the government media had a greater influence on the public during the process of COVID-19.The analysis of the news release time showed that the government media and non-government media had similar ability in discourse power on public health emergencies.This paper proposes the following recommendations for government departments to enhance their abilities to cope with online public opinion on public health emergencies,such as releasing information promptly,cultivating opinion leaders,and reporting the fact to avoid public misunderstandings.Zhang Wei Wei Fuqian Yang Yue 2021Asian Journal of Social Pharmacy2021,16,4:0
