| 2 | Optimization and Control of Extractive Distillation with Heat Integration for Separating Benzene/Cyclohexane Mixtures显示文摘In this work, the extractive distillation with heat integration process is extended to separate the pressure-insensitive benzene-cyclohexane azeotrope by using furfural as the entrainer. The optimal design of extractive distillation process is established to achieve minimum energy requirement using the multi-objective genetic algorithm, and the results show that energy saving for this heat integration process is 15.7%. Finally, the control design is performed to investigate the system's dynamic performance, and three control structures are studied. | 6 | A Vaccine Based on the Receptor-Binding Domain of the Spike Protein Expressed in Glycoengineered Pichia pastoris Targeting SARS-CoV-2 Stimulates Neutralizing and Protective Antibody Responses显示文摘In 2020 and 2021,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),a novel coronavirus,caused a global pandemic.Vaccines are expected to reduce the pressure of prevention and control,and have become the most effective strategy to solve the pandemic crisis.SARS-CoV-2 infects the host by binding to the cellular receptor angiotensin converting enzyme 2(ACE2)via the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of the surface spike(S)glycoprotein.In this study,a candidate vaccine based on a RBD recombinant subunit was prepared by means of a novel glycoengineered yeast Pichia pastoris expression system with characteristics of glycosylation modification similar to those of mammalian cells.The candidate vaccine effectively stimulated mice to produce high-titer anti-RBD specific antibody.Furthermore,the specific antibody titer and virus-neutralizing antibody(NAb)titer induced by the vaccine were increased significantly by the combination of the double adjuvants Al(OH)_(3) and CpG.Our results showed that the virus-NAb lasted for more than six months in mice.To summarize,we have obtained a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine based on the RBD of the S glycoprotein expressed in glycoengineered Pichia pastoris,which stimulates neutralizing and protective antibody responses.A technical route for fucose-free complex-type N-glycosylation modified recombinant subunit vaccine preparation has been established. | Bo Liu Ying Yin Yuxiao Liu Tiantian Wang Peng Sun Yangqin Ou Xin Gong Xuchen Hou Jun Zhang Hongguang Ren Shiqiang Luo Qian Ke Yongming Yao Junjie Xu Jun Wu | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,6: | 1 |

| 10 | Application of artificial intelligence in clinical diagnosis and treatment:an overview of systematic reviews显示文摘Objective This study aimed to summarize the characteristics and methodological quality of systematic reviews on the application of artificial intelligence(AI)in clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods We systematically searched seven English-and Chinese-language literature databases to identify sys-tematic reviews on the application of AI,deep learning,or machine learning in the diagnosis and treatment of any disease published in 2020.We evaluated the methodological quality of the included systematic reviews using“A Measurement tool for the assessment of multiple systematic reviews”(AMSTAR).We also conducted meta-analyses on the diagnostic accuracy of AI on selected disease categories with a large number of included studies and low clinical heterogeneity.Results A total of 40 systematic reviews reporting 1,083 original studies were included,covering 31 diseases from 11 groups of diseases.Eleven systematic reviews were related to neoplasms and nine were systematic reviews related to diseases of the digestive system.We selected digestive system diseases for the meta-analysis.The pooled sensitivities(with 95%confidence interval(CI))of AI to assist the diagnosis of helicobacter pylori,gastrointestinal ulcers,hemorrhage,esophageal tumors,gastric tumors,and intestinal tumors(with 95%CI)were 0.91(0.83-0.95),0.99(0.76-1.00),0.95(0.83-0.99),0.90(0.85-0.93),0.90(0.82-0.95),and 0.93(0.88-0.96),respectively,and the pooled specificities were 0.82(0.77-0.87),0.97(0.86-1.00),1.00(0.99-1.00),0.80(0.71-0.87),0.93(0.87-0.97),and 0.89(0.85-0.92),respectively.The AMSTAR items“the list of included studies”(n=39,97.5%)and“the characteristics of the included studies”(n=39,97.5%)had the highest compliance among the reviews;the compliance was relatively low to the items“the consideration of publication status”(n=1,2.5%),“the consideration of scientific quality”(n=19,47.5%),“data synthesis methods”(n=18,45.0%),and“the evaluation of publication bias”(n=13,32.5%).Conclusions The main subjects of systematic reviews on AI applications in clinical diagnosis and treatment pub-lished in 2020 were diseases of the digestive system and neoplasms.The methodological quality of the systematic reviews on AI needs to be improved,paying particular attention to publication bias and the rigorous evaluation of the quality of the included studies. | Shouyuan Wu Jianjian Wang Qiangqiang Guo Hui Lan Juanjuan Zhang Ling Wang Estill Janne Xufei Luo Qi Wang Yang Song Joseph LMathew Yangqin Xun Nan Yang Myeong Soo Lee Yaolong Chen | 2022 | Intelligent Medicine2022,2,2: | 1 |
| 11 | Flower-like NiCo_(2)S_(4)/NiFeP/NF composite material as an effective electrocatalyst with high overall water splitting performance显示文摘Rational design and building of high efficiency,secure and inexpensive electrocatalyst is a pressing demand and performance to promote sustainable improvement of hydrogen energy.The bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution response(HER)with high catalytic performance and steadiness in the equal electrolyte are extra treasured and meaningful.Herein,a unique three-dimensional(3D)structure electrocatalyst for NiCo_(2)S_(4)growing on the flower-like NiFeP was designed and synthesized in this study.The results show that the flower-like NiCo_(2)S_(4)/NiFeP/NF composite electrocatalyst has large specific surface area,appropriate electrical conductivity,and greater lively websites uncovered in the three-dimensional structure,and affords extraordinary electrocatalytic overall performance for the ordinary water splitting.In alkaline solution,the OER and HER overpotentials of NiCo_(2)S_(4)/NiFeP/NF only need 293 mV and 205 mV overpotential to provide the current densities of 100 mA/cm^(2)and 50 mA/cm^(2),respectively.This high electrocatalytic activity exceeds the catalytic activity of most nickel-iron based electrocatalysts for OER and HER process.Accordingly,the optimized NiCo_(2)S_(4)/NiFeP/NF sample has higher stability(24 h)at 1.560 and 10 mA/cm^(2),which extensively speeds up the overall water splitting process.In view of the above performance,this work offers a fine approach for the further improvement of low fee and excessive effectivity electrocatalyst. | Jing Jiang Fengyan Li Hui Su Yangqin Gao Ning Li Lei Ge | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9: | 1 |

The C 2 molecule is generated by an electric discharge through a mixture of acetylene and argon gas and a well resolved spectrum is recorded with an absolute accuracy of 0.007 cm -1 . Sensitivity of the method enables us to observe not only the traditionally observed branches of Δ Ω =0 sub bands but also some Δ Ω ≠0 transitions, providing a slight improvement in the accuracy of some molecular constants of the two states. | 15 | Tuberculosis screening among children and adolescents in China:insights from a mathematical model显示文摘Background Tuberculosis(TB)continues to be prevalent in China also among children and adolescents in China.We built a dynamic mathematical model for TB transmission in China,and applied it to compare the epidemic trends 2021–2030 under a range of screening interventions focusing on children and adolescents.Methods We developed a dynamic mathematical model with a flexible structure.The model can be applied either stochastically or deterministically,and can encompass arbitrary age structure and resistance levels.In the present version,we used the deterministic version excluding resistance but including age structure with six groups:0–5,6–11,12–14,15–17,18–64,and 65 years and above.We parameterized the model by literature data and fitting it to case and death estimates provided by the World Health Organization.We compared the new TB cases and TB-related deaths in each age group over the period 2021–2030 in 10 scenarios that involved intensified screening of particular age groups of children,adolescents,or young adults,or decreased or increased diagnostic accuracy of the screening.Results Screening the entire age class of 18-year-old persons would prevent 517,000 TB cases and 14,600 TB-related deaths between years 2021 and 2030,corresponding to 6.6%and 5.5%decrease from the standard of care projection,respectively.Annual screening of children aged 6–11 and,to a lesser extent,0–5 years,also reduced TB incidence and mortality,particularly among children of the respective ages but also in other age groups.In contrast,intensified screening of adolescents did not have a major impact.Screening with a simpler and less accurate method resulted in worsened outcomes,which could not be offset by more intensive screening.More accurate screening and better sensitivity to detect latent TB could prevent 2.3 million TB cases and 68,500 TB deaths in the coming 10 years.Conclusion Routine screening in schools can efficiently reduce the burden of TB in China.Screening should be intensified particularly among children in primary school age. | Janne Estill Yangqin Xu Shouyuan Wu Lidong Hu Nan Yang Shu Yang Yaolong Chen Guobao Li | 2023 | Intelligent Medicine2023,3,3: | 0 |

| 17 | W-doped FeNi_(2)S_(4)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF with interfacial effect as efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for overall water splitting显示文摘Given the current shortage of resources and environmental pollution,rationally designing and developing low-cost and highefficiency bifunctional electrocatalysts is an urgent and challenging task.It is widely recognized that element doping can effectively improve the electrocatalytic activity by adjusting the microstructure,morphology,and electronic structure.Therefore,this work rationally designs and prepares three-dimensional flower-like structured W-doped FeNi_(2)S_(4)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF heterojunctions as efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts for overall water splitting.In 1 M KOH,the prepared W-FeNi_(2)S_(4)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF electrocatalyst can effectively drive both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)processes,and only needs overpotentials of 93 and 210 mV to reach current densities of 10 and 50 mA·cm^(−2).In the double electrode cell composed by WFeNi_(2)S_(4)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF electrocatalyst,a low cell voltage of 1.52 V was required to reach a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2),and 91.6%of this value was preserved after 24 h electrolysis operation.The performance of FeNi_(2)S_(4)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF electrocatalyst is superior to most of the current bifunctional electrocatalytic materials.Density functional theory(DFT)theoretical calculations also revealed a more intense electron transfer process that can be facilitated by constructing FeNi_(2)S_(4)and Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF interface,which may be the main reason for the archived excellent electrochemical performance. | Jing Jiang Hui Su Shaojia Song Weilong Liu Ning Li Yangqin Gao Lei Ge | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,10: | 0 |
