| 1 | Tunable Q-factor wavelet transform denoising with neighboring coefficients and its application to rotating machinery fault diagnosis显示文摘Fault diagnosis of rotating machinery is of great importance to the high quality products and long-term safe operation.However,the useful weak features are usually corrupted by strong background noise,thus increasing the difficulty of the feature extraction.Thereby,a novel denoising method based on the tunable Q-factor wavelet transform(TQWT)using neighboring coefficients is proposed in this article.The emerging TQWT possesses excellent properties compared with the conventional constant-Q wavelet transforms,which can tune Q-factor according to the oscillatory behavior of the signal.Meanwhile,neighboring coefficients denoising is adopted to avoid the overkill of conventional term-by-term thresholding techniques.Because of having the combined advantages of the two methods,the presented denoising method is more practical and effective than other methods.The proposed method is applied to a simulated signal,a rolling element bearing with an outer race defect from antenna transmission chain and a gearbox fault detection case.The processing results demonstrate that the proposed method can successfully identify the fault features,showing that this method is more effective than the conventional wavelet thresholding denoising methods,term-by-term TQWT denoising schemes and spectral kurtosis. | HE WangPeng ZI YanYang CHEN BinQiang WANG Shuai HE ZhengJia | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8: | 27 |
| 2 | Mogroside V inhibits LPS-induced COX-2 expression/ROS production and overexpression of HO-1 by blocking phosphorylation of AKT1 in RAW264.7 cells显示文摘Momordica grosvenori is a valuable edible plant with medicinal purposes, and it is widely used in medicated diets and traditional Chinese medicine in Asia. Mogroside V (MV), the main bioactive component from M. grosvenori, is comm only used as a natural sweetener. M. grosvenori extracts have been reported to exert potent anti-inflammatory property, however the underlying molecular mechanism still remains unknown. In the present study, the biological effect of MV in inflammation was investigated in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The ELISA and western blot analysis results showed that MV significantly inhibited LPS-induced prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression. MV markedly decreased the phosphorylation of IxB-a, increased IkB-oc, and reduced nuclear p-65 and C/EBP6. Furthermore, MV attenuated LPS-induced phosphorylation of MAPKs and AKT1, and only the phosphorylation status of AKT1 was found to be consistent with the expression trend of COX-2. Moreover, MV reduced ROS level and restored overexpressed HO-1 and AP-1 to basal level, which can be markedly reversed by AKT1 inhibitor LY294002. These results revealed that AKT1 plays a key role in LPS-induced COX-2 expression, and acts as a mediator to keep the redox balance in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. MV exerts anti-inflammatory property by blocking AKT1-mediated NF-kB and C/EBP6 activation, ROS generation and AP-1/ HO-1 expression. | 5 | A novel vibration modeling method for a rotating blade with breathing cracks显示文摘This paper proposes a vibration modeling method for a rotating blade with breathing cracks, considering the coupling of the centrifugal effects, the breathing effects and the crack effects. Firstly, considering the combined effects of the centrifugal stress and the bending stress, a crack breathing model for the rotating blade is proposed. Since the crack surface cannot provide the spanwise centrifugal tensile stress, an additional bending moment will be generated at the crack surface in the rotating state.Therefore, an additional bending moment caused by the centrifugal stress is then constructed. In addition, due to the discontinuity of the crack cross section, the additional stiffness caused by the centrifugal effects of the cracked blade will be smaller than that of the normal blade. Therefore, a correction coefficient of the centrifugal stiffness is built. Furthermore, based on the Lagrange equation and the assumed modal method, the vibration equation of the rotating blade with a breathing crack is established(RBC model), and a strategy is constructed for solving this vibration equation. Finally, taking the finite element model(FEM) as a reference, the vibration responses of the RBC model, the open crack model(OC) and the bilinear crack model(BC) are compared. The necessity of the RBC model is illustrated, and the accuracy of the RBC model is verified. The RBC model is a computationally efficient alternative to the finite element analysis for the rotating cracked blade. However, the useful fault information is usually submerged in heavy background noise under the severe condition. Thereby, a novel method based on multiwavelet sliding window neighboring coefficient denoising and optimal blind deconvolution is proposed for gearbox fault diagnosis in rolling mills. The emerging multiwavelets can seize the important signal processing properties simultaneously. Owing to the multiple scaling and wavelet basis functions, they have the supreme possibility of matching various features. Due to the periodicity of gearbox signals, sliding window is recommended to conduct local threshold denoising, so as to avoid the 'overkill' of conventional universal thresholding techniques. Meanwhile, neighboring coefficient denoising, considering the correlation of the coefficients, is introduced to effectively process the noisy signals in every sliding window. Thus, multiwavelet sliding window neighboring coefficient denoising not only can perform excellent fault extraction, but also accords with the essence of gearbox fault features. On the other hand, optimal blind deconvolution is carried out to highlight the denoised features for operators' easy identification. The filter length is vital for the effective and meaningful results. Hence, the foremost filter length selection based on the kurtosis is discussed in order to full benefits of this technique. The new method is applied to two gearbox fault diagnostic cases of hot strip finishing mills, compared with multiwavelet and scalar wavelet methods with/without optimal blind deconvolution. | 10 | Inductance calculation for 3D microsolenoids with single-layer coils显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D) single-layer microcoils have always been a key element for electromagnetic systems;but they lack an easy and accurate method to calculate the inductance value for their complex 3D micro-structures. This paper employed a curve-fitting process to obtain the associated equation for the inductance value and geometric parameters based on the simulation results. The correction factors regarding helical pitch and wire diameter were reviewed,which are used for compensation in the Nagaoka formula. The simulation process numerically simulated the performance of the 3D microcoils using a FEM electro-magnetic-coupled analysis method. Comparison of the simulated inductance value and the Nagaoka formula was undertaken,which shows that the helical pitch and wire diameter contribute a main role in the calculation error. | 11 | Exploring mission planning method for a team of carrier aircraft launching显示文摘High-level efficiency and safety are of great significance for improving the fighting capability of an aircraft carrier. One way to enhance efficiency and safety level is to organize the carrier aircraft into combat effectively. This paper studies the mission planning problem for a team of carrier aircraft launching, and a novel distributed mission planning architecture is proposed. The architecture is hierarchical and is comprised of four levels, namely, the input level, the coordination level,the path planning level and the execution level. Realistic constraints in each level of the distributed architecture, such as the vortex flow effect, the crowd effect and the motion of aircraft, are considered in the model. To solve this problem, a distributed path planning algorithm based on the asynchronous planning strategy is developed. The proposed Mission Planning Approach for Carrier Aircraft Launching(MPACAL) is validated using the setups of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier.Compared to the isolated planning architecture and the centralized planning architecture, the proposed distributed planning architecture has advantages in coordinating the launch tasks not only belonging to the same catapult but also when all different catapults are considered. | 13 | Isolation and characterization of ferrous-and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria from Tengchong solfataric region,China显示文摘Microbial oxidation and reduction of iron and sulfur are important parts of biogeochemical cycles in acidic environments such as geothermal solfataric regions.Species of Acidithiobacillus and Leptospirillum are the common ferrous-iron and sulfur oxidizers from such environments.This study focused on the Tengchong sofataric region,located in Yunnan Province,Southwest China.Based on cultivation,9 strains that grow on ferrous-iron and sulfuric compounds were obtained.Analysis of 16S rRNA genes of the 9 strains indicated that they were affliated to Acidithiobacillus,Alicyclobacillus,Sulfobacillus,Leptospirillum and Acidiphilium.Physiological and phylogenetic studies indicated that two strains(TC-34 and TC-71) might represent two novel members of Alicyclobacillus.Strain TC-34 and TC-71 showed 94.8%-97.1%16S rRNA gene identities to other species of Alicyclobacillus.Different from the previously described Alicyclobacillus species,strains TC-34 and TC-71 were mesophilic and their cellular fatty acids do not containω-cyclic fatty acids.Strain TC-71 was obligately dependent on ferrous-iron for growth.It was concluded that the ferrous-iron oxidizers were diversified and Alicyclobacillus species were proposed to take part in biochemical geocycling of iron in the Tengchong solfataric region. | JIANG Chengying LIU Ying LIU Yanyang GUO Xu LIU Shuang-Jiang | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,9: | 5 |

| 18 | Crustal velocity structure of central Gansu Province from regional seismic waveform inversion using firework algorithm显示文摘The firework algorithm(FWA) is a novel swarm intelligence-based method recently proposed for the optimization of multi-parameter, nonlinear functions. Numerical waveform inversion experiments using a synthetic model show that the FWA performs well in both solution quality and efficiency. We apply the FWA in this study to crustal velocity structure inversion using regional seismic waveform data of central Gansu on the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Seismograms recorded from the moment magnitude(MW) 5.4 Minxian earthquake enable obtaining an average crustal velocity model for this region. We initially carried out a series of FWA robustness tests in regional waveform inversion at the same earthquake and station positions across the study region,inverting two velocity structure models, with and without a low-velocity crustal layer; the accuracy of our average inversion results and their standard deviations reveal the advantages of the FWA for the inversion of regional seismic waveforms. We applied the FWA across our study area using three component waveform data recorded by nine broadband permanent seismic stations with epicentral distances ranging between 146 and 437 km. These inversion results show that the average thickness of the crust in this region is 46.75 km, while thicknesses of the sedimentary layer, and the upper, middle, and lower crust are 3.15,15.69, 13.08, and 14.83 km, respectively. | 19 | Delphinidin-induced autophagy protects pancreatic β cells against apoptosis resulting from high-glucose stress via AMPK signaling pathway显示文摘Hyperglycemia,a diagnostic characteristic of diabetes mellitus,is detrimental to pancreatic 0 cells.Delphinidin,a member of the anthocyanin family,inhibits glucose absorption,increases glucagonlike peptide(GLP-1)secretion,and improves insulin secretion in diabetes.However,whether delphinidin plays a protective role in pancreatic p-cell mass and function is not clear.In this study,delphinidin was found to decrease the high-glucose-induced apoptosis of RIN-m5F pancreatic β cells.In addition,delphinidin induced autophagy in RIN-m5F cells under the normal and highglucose conditions,while 3-methyladenine(3-MA)inhibition of autophagy significantly diminished the protective role of delphinidin against high-glucose-induced apoptosis of pancreatic β cells.Delphinidin also decreased the level of cleaved caspase 3 and increased the phosphorylation level of AMP-activated protein kinase a(AMPKa)Thr172.Compound C,an AMPK inhibitor,was found to decrease the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I,and the apoptotic rate of high-glucose-injured cells was in creased after treatme nt with delphinidin,in dicating that delphinidi n attenuated the n egative effects of high-glucose stress to cells.In con elusion,our data dem on strate that delphi nidin protects pancreatic B cells against high-glucose-induced injury by autophagy regulation via the AMPK signaling pathway.These findings might shed light on the underlying mechanisms of diabetes and help improve the prevention and therapy of this common disease. | Dengni Lai Mingyong Huang Lingyan Zhao Yan Tian Yong Li Dongpo Liu Yanyang Wu Fangming Deng | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,12: | 3 |
