Method for solving dynamic equilibrium equations based on displacement excitation显示文摘Mode superposition is a widely used method for solving the dynamic equilibrium equation in structural dynamic analysis. However, the accuracy of this method may be reduced when the dynamic equilibrium equations are set up using displacement excitation.A new method for developing solutions for dynamic equilibrium equations based on displacement excitation is introduced. The dynamic equilibrium equation is decomposed into two parts, namely displacement excitation and velocity excitation, and precise integration and mode superposition methods are combined to solve the equation.Ritz vectors are then used to calculate the static response of the truncated modes of the structure, and a method for determining the number of participating modes is obtained.Using multi-degree-of-freedom systems as two computational examples, the differences in the structural responses obtained from the displacement excitation and acceleration excitation are compared and analyzed. It is shown that the new solution method generates consistent accuracy between the displacement excitation and acceleration excitation. | Xu Guolin Zhang Lingxin Bai Yashuang Sun Hao | 2020 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,2: | 2

Facile discovery of red blood cell deformation and compromised membrane/skeleton assembly in Prader—Willi syndrome显示文摘Prader—Willi syndrome(PWS)is a rare congenital disease with genetic alterations in chromosome 15.Although genetic disorders and DNA methylation abnormalities involved in PWS have been investigated to a significant degree, other anomalies such as those in erythrocytes may occur and these have not been clearly elucidated. In the present study,we uncovered slight anemia in children with PWS that was associated with increased red blood cell(RBC)distribution width(RDW)and contrarily reduced hematocrit(HCT)values.Intriguingly, the increased ratio in RDW to HCT allowed sufficient differentiation between the PWS patients from the healthy controls and, importantly, with individuals exhibiting conventional obesity.Further morphologic examinations revealed a significant deformity in erythrocytes and mild hemolysis in PWS patients.Comprehensive mechanistic investigations unveiled compromised membrane skeletal assembly and membrane lipid composition, and revealed a reduced F-actin/G-actin ratio in PWS patients. We ascribed these phenotypic changes in erythrocytes to the observed genetic defects, including DNA methylation abnormalities. Our collective data allowed us to uncover RBC deformation in children with PWS,and this may constitute an auxiliary indicator of PWS in early childhood. | Yashuang Yang Guimei Li Yanzhou Wang Yan Sun Chao Xu Zhen Wei Shuping Zhang Ling Gao Sijin Liu Jiajun Zhao | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,6: | 0
Achieving high-performance sodium metal anodes: From structural design to reaction kinetic improvement显示文摘Sodium metal is one of the ideal anodes for high-performance rechargeable batteries because of its high specific capacity(~1166 mAh·g^(-1)),low reduction potential(-2.71 V compared to standard hydrogen electrodes),and low cost. However, the unstable solid electrolyte interphase, uncontrolled dendrite growth, and inevitable volume expansion hinder the practical application of sodium metal anodes. At present, many strategies have been developed to achieve stable sodium metal anodes. Here,we systematically summarize the latest strategies adopted in interface engineering, current collector design, and the emerging methods to improve the reaction kinetics of sodium deposition processes.First, the strategies of constructing protective layers are reviewed, including inorganic, organic, and mixed protective layers through electrolyte additives or pretreatments. Then, the classification of metal-based,carbon-based,and composite porous frames is discussed, including their function in reducing local deposition current density and the effect of introducing sodiophilic sites.Third, the recent progress of alloys, nanoparticles, and single atoms in improving Na deposition kinetics is systematically reviewed. Finally, the future research direction and the prospect of high-performance sodium metal batteries are proposed. | Jing Xu Jianhao Yang Yashuang Qiu Yang Jin Tianyi Wang Bing Sun Guoxiu Wang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0
Challenges and prospects for room temperature solid-state sodiumsulfur batteries显示文摘Room temperature sodium-sulfur(Na-S)batteries,known for their high energy density and low cost, are one of the most promising next-generation energy storage systems. However, the polysulfide shuttling and uncontrollable Na dendrite growth as well as safety issues caused by the use of organic liquid electrolytes in Na-S cells, have severely hindered their commercialization.Solid-state electrolytes instead of liquid electrolytes are considered to be the most direct and effective solution to solve the above problems. However, its practical application is still greatly challenged due to the poor interfacial compatibility between the all-solid-state electrolytes and the anode/cathode,ionic conductivity, and the shuttle effect caused by the presence of liquid phase in the quasi-solid-state electrolytes. This paper presents a comprehensive review of solid-state Na-S batteries from the perspective of regulating interfacial compatibility and improving ionic conductivity as well as suppressing polysulfide shuttle.According to different components,solid-state electrolytes were divided into five categories:solid inorganic electrolytes, solid polymer electrolytes,polymer/inorganic solid hybrid electrolytes, gel polymer electrolytes, and liquid–solid inorganic hybrid electrolytes. Finally, the prospect of developing high performance solid-state electrolytes to improve the cycling stability of room temperature Na-S cells is envisaged. | Yashuang Qiu Jing Xu | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,3: | 0
A Case Report:Severe Bullous Skin Reaction Induced by Anti-PD-1 Antibody(Toripalimab)Therapy in a Patient with Thymic Carcinoma显示文摘The development of immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as those targeting programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1),represents a major breakthrough in cancer therapy.Although immune checkpoint blockade therapy has a favorable risk/benefit ratio,it causes significant immune-related adverse events(irAEs),such as cutaneous reactions,in particular, severe bullous skin reactions and toxic epidermal necrolysis. Here,we report a case of a 51-year-old woman with malignant thymoma who developed a severe bullous skin reaction(characterized by a systemic rash, bullae, epidermal desquamation, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome)as a result of treatment with the PD-1 inhibitor toripalimab. The patient was treated with high doses of glucocorticoid, intravenous immunoglobulin, and intensive care, and eventually recovered from the severe irAEs.The intravenous injection of anti-PD-1 antibodies induces cutaneous reactions, which are associated with higher mortality rates.High doses of glucocorticoid combined with intravenous immunoglobulin are effective in alleviating such irAEs.Thus, improving the level of care and preventing skin infections can effectively reduce the risk of death. | Chong TENG Xiaowei SONG Chengjuan FAN Yashuang ZHAO Lina DU Siqi MAN Yuanyuan HU Zhengjun JIANG Tao XIN | 2022 | Clinical Cancer Bulletin2022,1,3: | 0
Measuring the number concentration of arbitrarily-shaped gold nanoparticles with surface plasmon resonance microscopy显示文摘Molar concentration of gold nanoparticles is one of the most critical parameters of gold colloids in order to develop their applications in sensing, diagnostics and nanomedicine.Previous methods often stand just for gold nanoparticles with regular shape and narrow size distribution. In the present work,we proposed an absolute quantification method that determined the molar concentration of gold nanoparticles with arbitrary shapes and poly disperse sizes. This approach involved the real time monitoring and counting of individual nanoparticles collision events, from which the quantification of molar concentration was achieved using a theoretical model consisting of Fick's laws of diffusion and Stokes-Einstein equation. The determination of spherical gold nanoparticles concentration resulted in excellent agreement with traditional spectrometry method. It was further demonstrated that the present approach can be expanded to determine the molar concentration of gold nanoparticles with arbitrary shapes and poly-diversed distributions. | Xiang Wo Yashuang Luo Nongjian Tao Wei Wang Hong-Yuan Chen | 2016 | Science China Chemistry2016,59,7: | 0
0D/3D direct Z-scheme heterojunctions hybridizing by MoS2 quantum dots and honeycomb conjugated triazine polymers (CTPs) for enhanced photocatalytic performance显示文摘Herein,a novel direct Z-scheme photocatalyst was accomplished by hybridization of 0D MoS2 quantum dots(MSQDs)and 3D honeycomb-like conjugated triazine polymers(CTP)(namely,CTP-MSQD).The unique 0D/3D hierarchical structure significantly enhanced the exposure of active sites and light harvesting property, while the formed p-n junction enabled the direct strong interface coupling without the necessity of any mediators. The optimized CTP-MSQD3 exhibited continuously increased visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity and strong durability both in Cr(VI)reduction and H2 evolution, featured a rate of 0.069 min^(-1) and 1070μmol/(hr•g),respectively,which were 8 times than those of pure 3D-CTP(0.009 min^(−1) and 129μmol/(hr•g)).We believe that this work provides a promising photocatalyst system that combines a 0D/3D hierarchical structure and a Z-scheme charge flow for efficient and stable photocatalytic conversion. | Shuqi Li Weishun Lai Xinming Jiang Yashuang Wang Xinyi Cai Da Wang Shuang Song Min Liu Tao Zeng | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2: | 0
