1Systematic study on the mechanical and electric behaviors of the nonbuckling interconnect design of stretchable electronics显示文摘Recently, we developed a nonbuckling interconnect design that provides an effective approach to simultaneously achieving high elastic stretchability, easiness for encapsulation, and high electric performance for stretchable electronics. This paper aims to systematically study its mechanical and electric behaviors, including comparisons of the nonbuckling and buckling interconnect designs on stretchability, effects of the thickness on electric performance, and modeling and experimental investigations on the finite deformation mechanics. It is found that the results on stretchability depend on the layouts. Long straight segments and small arc radii for nonbuckling interconnects yield an enhancement of stretchability, which is much better than that of buckling designs. On the other hand, shorter straight segments or thicker interconnects are better to lower the resistances of interconnects.Therefore, optimization of the designs needs to balance the requirements of both the mechanical and electric performances. The finite deformation of interconnects during stretching is analyzed. The established analytic model is well validated by both the finite element modeling and experimental investigations. 11Co-POM@MOF-derivatives with trace cobalt content for highly efficient oxygen reduction显示文摘A simple and effective method for constructing highly efficient oxygen reduction catalysts with trace amount of isolated cobalt was firstly developed by the pyrolysis of Co-centered polyoxometalate@metalorganic framework (Co-POM@MOF).The Co-centered polyoxometalate ([Co W_(12)O_(40)]^(6-)) was confined in the well-defined void space of ZIF-8 to achieve homogeneous dispersion of polyoxoanions,where the isolated Co centers were well surrounded by the W-O shell and ZIF-8 framework.The Co-POM@MOF-derived N-doping porous carbon (Co-W-NC) with trace cobalt content was facilely prepared by the pyrolysis of the Co-POM@MOF under Ar atmosphere.The single dispersion of polyoxoanions in the metal-organic framework with complete separation of Co center surrounding by W-O shell and ZIF-8 framework ensures the uniform dispersion of Co atoms,confirmed by the Fourier transform extended X-ray absorption fine structure measurement.The Co-W-NC composite catalysts exhibit high performance for oxygen reduction reactions with a half-wave potential of 0.835 V in 0.1 mol/L KOH solution with excellent durability,which is much superior to that of the control samples derived from the[PW_(12)O_(40)]@ZIF-8,and the commercial Pt/C.This work highlights a new insight for constructing highly efficient catalysts via the introduction of metal-centered polyoxometalate into metal-organic framework following the high temperature treatment process.Yitao Song Yewang Peng Shuang Yao Peng Zhang Yujie Wang Jianmin Gu Tongbu Lu Zhiming Zhang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2:1
12CONCAVE BIOLOGICAL SURFACES FOR STRONG WET ADHESION显示文摘Plant leaves,insects and geckos are masters of adhesion or anti-adhesion by smartly designed refined surface structures with micro- and nano-'technologies'.Understanding the basic principles in the design of the unique surface structures is of great importance in the manufacture or synthesis of micro-and nano-devices in MEMS or NEMS.This study is right inspired by this effort,focusing on the mechanics of wet adhesion between fibers having concave tips and a flat substrate via capillary forces.We show that the concave surface can effectively enhance the wet adhesion by reducing the effective contact angle of the fiber,firmly pinning the liquid bridge at its circumferential edge.A critical contact angle is identified below which the adhesion strength can achieve its maximum,being insensitive to the contact angle between the fiber and liquid.The analytical expression for the critical angle is derived.Then a tentative design for the profile of concave surfaces is proposed,considering the effects of chamfering size,deformation and buckling,etc.The effect of liquid volume on the wet adhesion of multiple-fiber system is also discussed.Yewang Su Baohua Ji Yonggang Huang Kehchih Hwang 2009Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2009,22,6:1
