| 1 | COMPUTATIONALLY EFFICIENT ESPRIT METHOD FOR DIRECTION FINDING显示文摘In this paper,a low complexity ESPRIT algorithm based on power method and Orthogo- nal-triangular (QR) decomposition is presented for direction finding,which does not require a priori knowledge of source number and the predetermined threshold (separates the signal and noise ei- gen-values).Firstly,according to the estimation of noise subspace obtained by the power method,a novel source number detection method without eigen-decomposition is proposed based on QR de- composition.Furthermore,the eigenvectors of signal subspace can be determined according to Q matrix and then the directions of signals could be computed by the ESPRIT algorithm.To determine the source number and subspace,the computation complexity of the proposed algorithm is approximated as (2log_2 n+2.67)M^3,where n is the power of covariance matrix and M is the number of array ele- ments.Compared with the Single Vector Decomposition (SVD) based algorithm,it has a substantial computational saving with the approximation performance.The simulation results demonstrate its effectiveness and robustness. | Bao Zhiqiang Wu Shunjun Zhang Linrang | 2007 | Journal of Electronics(China)2007,24,5: | 4 |
| 2 | Multidimensional Waveform Design for MIMO SAR Interferometry显示文摘One key of Multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) interferometry is the effective separation of the echoes originating from different transmissions. A multidimensional waveform design method for MIMO SAR interferometry is presented. By exploiting the wavenumber shift and Doppler-band shift phenomenon in the design of transmitted signals, the echo separation can be efficiently accomplished via the filtering operations in range-frequency domain and azimuth-spatial domain. Such waveform design can meet the requirement of MIMO SAR imaging on integrated cross interference level without reduce the swath width. Such waveform design also improves the coherence between the independent observations and enlarges the unambiguity range of height estimation. Because the TV signal is a kind of pseudoperiodic signal, the matched filtering of color TV signals would yield high sidelobes which cause the range ambiguity. To overcome this problem, the mismatched filter is proposed to suppress the correlation sidelobes of matched filtering of TV signals. By utilizing the iteration process, this method could achieve the required peak sidelobe level. The impacts of the noise and target movement on mismatched filtering are also analysed. | 10 | CHANNEL ESTIMATION OF MULTI-RATE DS-CDMA SIGNALS IN SLOW FADING MULTIPATH CHANNELS显示文摘In Direct-Sequence Code Division Multiple Access(DS-CDMA) mobile communi-cation systems, it is very important to obtain accurate estimation of the channel parameters,especially that of the propagation delay. But the near-far problem may make the estimationcomplicated and can degrade the estimation performance significantly. In this paper, an efficientMaximum Likelihood (ML) method is presented for channel parameter estimation of multi-rateDS-CDMA systems in slow fading multipath channels in a near-far scenario. The algorithmextended the ML approach to multi-rate DS-CDMA systems, and proposes decomposing a multi-dimensional optimization problem into a series of one-dimensional optimization and has improvedcomputational efficiency.
