| 1 | Assimilating operational SST and sea ice analysis data into an operational circulation model for the coastal seas of China显示文摘The prediction of sea surface temperature(SST) is an essential task for an operational ocean circulation model. A sea surface heat flux, an initial temperature field, and boundary conditions directly affect the accuracy of a SST simulation. Here two quick and convenient data assimilation methods are employed to improve the SST simulation in the domain of the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea(BYECS). One is based on a surface net heat flux correction, named as Qcorrection(QC), which nudges the flux correction to the model equation; the other is ensemble optimal interpolation(En OI), which optimizes the model initial field. Based on such two methods, the SST data obtained from the operational SST and sea ice analysis(OSTIA) system are assimilated into an operational circulation model for the coastal seas of China. The results of the simulated SST based on four experiments, in 2011, have been analyzed. By comparing with the OSTIA SST, the domain averaged root mean square error(RMSE) of the four experiments is 1.74, 1.16, 1.30 and 0.91°C, respectively; the improvements of assimilation experiments Exps 2, 3 and 4 are about 33.3%, 25.3%, and 47.7%, respectively.Although both two methods are effective in assimilating the SST, the En OI shows more advantages than the QC,and the best result is achieved when the two methods are combined. | 2 | Numerical study and prediction of nuclear contaminant transport from Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in the North Pacific Ocean显示文摘On March 11,2011,a large earthquake and subsequent tsunami near the east coast of Japan destroyed the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant(FD-NPP),causing a massive release of nuclear contaminants.In this paper,a Pacific basin-wide physical dispersion model is developed and used to investigate the transport of nuclear contaminants.The Pacific circulation model,based on the Regional Ocean Modeling System(ROMS),is forced with air-sea flux climatology derived from COADS(the Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set).It is shown that ocean current dominates nuclear contaminant transport.Following the Kuroshio Extension and North Pacific Current,nuclear contaminants at the surface will move eastward in the Pacific as far as 140°W,thereafter dividing into two branches.For the south branch,nuclear contaminants will be transported westward by the equatorial current,and can reach the Philippines after 10 years' time.In contrast,the north branch will arrive at the American west coast and then migrate to the Bering Sea.At 200 m water depth,part of the nuclear materials will move southwestward along with deep ocean circulation,which could potentially reach the east coast of Taiwan.The other part will move to the west coast of America and separate into two branches.One will move northward along the west coast of Alaska,while the other will travel southward to the Hawaiian Islands.The transport of radiation contaminants below 500 m is slow,and will primarily remain in the central Pacific.The physical dispersion model results show that high concentrations of the radioactive isotope cesium-137(137 Cs) will move eastward and reach the central Pacific and west coast of North America in two and eight years,respectively.The sea areas influenced by the nuclear contaminants continue to expand,while peak concentrations decrease in the North Pacific. | WANG Hui WANG ZhaoYi ZHU XueMing WANG DaKui LIU GuiMei | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,26: | 6 |
| 3 | Development of a CLDN18.2-targeting immuno-PET probe for non-invasive imaging in gastrointestinal tumors显示文摘Claudin18.2(CLDN18.2)is a tight junction protein that is overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors such as gastrointestinal cancer and oesophageal cancer.It has been identified as a promising target and a potential biomarker to diagnose tumor,evaluate efficacy,and determine patient prognosis.TST001 is a recombinant humanized CLDN18.2 antibody that selectively binds to the extracellular loop of human Claudin18.2.In this study,we constructed a solid target radionuclide zirconium-^(89)(^(89)Zr)labled-TST001 to detect the expression of in the human stomach cancer BGC823CLDN18.2 cell lines.The[^(89)Zr]Zr-desferrioxamine(DFO)-TST001 showed high radiochemical purity(RCP,>99%)and specific activity(24.15±1.34 GBq/mmol),and was stable in 5%human serum albumin,and phosphate buffer saline(>85%RCP at 96 h).The EC_(50) values of TST001 and DFO-TST001 were as high as 0.413±0.055 and 0.361±0.058 nM(P>0.05),respectively.The radiotracer had a significantly higher average standard uptake values in CLDN18.2-positive tumors than in CLDN18.2-negative tumors(1.11±0.02 vs.0.49±0.03,P=0.0016)2 days post injection(p.i.).BGC823CLDN18.2 mice models showed high tumor/muscle ratios 96 h p.i.with[^(89)Zr]Zr-DFO-TST001 was much higher than those of the other imaging groups.Immunohistochemistry results showed that BGC823CLDN18.2 tumors were highly positive(+++)for CLDN18.2,while those in the BGC823 group did not express CLDN18.2().The results of ex vivo biodistribution studies showed that there was a higher distribution in the BGC823CLDN18.2 tumor bearing mice(2.05±0.16%ID/g)than BGC823 mice(0.69±0.02%ID/g)and blocking group(0.72±0.02%ID/g).A dosimetry estimation study showed that the effective dose of[^(89)Zr]Zr-DFO-TST001 was 0.0705 mSv/MBq,which is within the range of acceptable doses for nuclear medicine research.Taken together,these results suggest that Good Manufacturing Practices produced by this immuno-positron emission tomography probe can detect CLDN18.2-overexpressing tumors. | Yan Chen Xingguo Hou Dapeng Li Jin Ding Jiayue Liu Zilei Wang Fei Teng Hongjun Li Fan Zhang Yi Gu Steven Yu Xueming Qian Zhi Yang Hua Zhu | 2023 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,4: | 2 |

| 16 | Recent improvements to the physical model of the Bohai Sea,the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea Operational Oceanography Forecasting System显示文摘In order to satisfy the increasing demand for the marine forecasting capacity,the Bohai Sea,the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea Operational Oceanography Forecasting System(BYEOFS)has been upgraded and improved to Version 2.0.Based on the Regional Ocean Modeling System(ROMS),a series of comparative experiments were conducted during the improvement process,including correcting topography,changing sea surface atmospheric forcing mode,adjusting open boundary conditions,and considering atmospheric pressure correction.(1)After the topography correction,the volume transport and meridional velocity maximum of Yellow Sea Warm Current increase obviously and the unreasonable bending of its axis around 36.1°N,123.5°E disappears.(2)After the change of sea surface forcing mode,an effective negative feedback mechanism is formed between predicted sea surface temperature(SST)by the ocean model and sea surface radiation fluxes fields.The simulation errors of SST decreased significantly,and the annual average of root-mean-square error(RMSE)decreased by about 18%.(3)The change of the eastern lateral boundary condition of baroclinic velocity from mixed Radiation-Nudging to Clamped makes the unreasonable westward current in Tsushima Strait disappear.(4)The adding of mean sea level pressure correction option which forms the mean sea level gradient from the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea to the western Pacific in winter and autumn is helpful to increasing the fluctuation of SLA and outflow of the Yellow Sea when the cold high air pressure system controls the Yellow Sea area. | Ang Li Xueming Zhu Yunfei Zhang Shihe Ren Miaoyin Zhang Ziqing Zu Hui Wang | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,11: | 1 |

| 18 | Influence of Milling Conditions on the Mechanical Alloying of Fe-B Powders显示文摘Amorphous and nanostructural Fe-B alloys made by mechanical alloying of elemental Fe and amorphous B powders have been studied using X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and Mossbauer spectroscopy. It has been shown that the milling conditions have a strong effect on the alloying. The single phase amorphous alloy, which is limited at nominal composition of Fe60B40, has been produced only by milling in Ar atmosphere and in other composition range the mixture of nanostructure Fe-like phase and Fe2B compound with a little amorphous phase are obtained. While by milling in air atmosphere the introduction of oxygen in air may suppress the formation of amorphous phase, thus the compounds Fe2B may be synthesized with no trace of amorphous phase. The crystallization temperatures of amorphous phase in the resultant products are higher than those of a single amorphous alloy Fe60B40, and hardly independent of the milling conditions and the composition. | 19 | Variation of Antarctic marginal ice zone extent (1989-2019)显示文摘The Antarctic marginal ice zone(MIZ)is the transition region between open water and consolidated pack ice,which is defined as an area with 15%-80%sea ice concentration.The MIZ represents the outer circle of Antarctic sea ice and the biological activity circle of Antarctic organisms,which provides a direct indication of the extent of Antarctic sea ice.In this study,the joint total variation and nonnegative constrained least square algorithm are applied to retrieve the Antarctic MIZ extent based on passive microwave data sets from 1989 to 2019.The spatial and temporal variations of the Antarctic MIZ extent and five regions are analyzed.The results show that the Antarctic MIZ extent follows a strong monthly variation pattern,decreasing from November to February and increasing from March to October.The annual MIZ extent is largest in the Weddell Sea and smallest in the Western Pacific Ocean.The edge of the sea ice begins to form a closed ring in May,which eventually closes near the Antarctic Peninsula.The ring width variation is large in summer,but generally stabilizes between 350 and 370 km in winter.The average latitude of the Antarctic MIZ is relatively stable in summer,but changes substantially in winter with a difference of approximately 3°.In October,the lowest mean latitude of the MIZ can reach 64.35°S.The sea surface pressure,2-m temperature,and 10-m wind speed are negatively correlated with the MIZ extent variation,among which the second-order partial correlation coefficient of the sea surface pressure and MIZ extent is−0.8773 in the Western Pacific Ocean. | WANG Miaojiang LIU Tingting YANG Zijian WU Bing ZHU Xueming | 2021 | Advances in Polar Science2021,32,4: | 0 |
| 20 | A Mssbauer Study on the Mechanically Alloyed Cu-Sn Alloys显示文摘Nanocrystalline E and η electron compounds and supersaturated solid solution of the Cu-Sn system have been prepared by mechanical alloying of elemental Cu and Sn powders. The atomie alloying and microstructure of the resultant alloys have been investigated by XRD, DSC and 119Sn Mossbauer spectroscopy. A little amount of SnO2 was detected by Mossbauer spectroscopy, although no trace of diffiaction peaks occurred in the XRD pattern. Thus the spectra for all the milled samples should be fitted using two quadrupole-splitting doublets: one corre sponding to SnO2, the other corresponding to the resultant alloys.
