1Time-dependent Vibration Frequency Reliability Analysis of Blade Vibration of Compressor Wheel of Turbocharger for Vehicle Application显示文摘Blade vibration failure is one of the main failure modes of compressor wheel of turbocharger for vehicle application.The existing models for evaluating the reliability of blade vibration of compressor wheel are static,and can not reflect the relationship between the reliability of compressor wheel with blade vibration failure mode and the life parameter.For the blade vibration failure mode of compressor wheel of turbocharger,the reliability evaluation method is studied.Taking a compressor wheel of turbocharger for vehicle application as an example,the blade vibration characteristics and how they change with the operating parameters of turbocharger are analyzed.The failure criterion for blade vibration mode of compressor wheel is built with the Campbell diagram,and taking the effect of the dispersity of blade natural vibration frequency and randomness of turbocharger operating speed into account,time-dependent reliability models of compressor wheel with blade vibration failure mode are derived,which embody the parameters of blade natural vibration frequency,turbocharger operating speed,the blade number of compressor wheel,life index and minimum number of resonance,etc.Finally,the rule governing the reliability and failure rate of compressor wheel and the method for determining the reliable life of compressor with blade vibration is presented.A method is proposed to evaluate the reliability of compressor wheel with blade vibration failure mode time-dependently.WANG Zheng WANG Zengquan ZHUANG Li WANG A-na 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1:9
2Molecule modification and mass deposition induced by the implantation of low energy Fe^+ ion beams into amino acids显示文摘Fe+ ion beams with the energy of 110 keV were implanted into films of L(+)-cysteine (HSCH2CH(NH2)COOH). One of the single crystals grown in hydrochloric acid solution with the implanted samples through slow evaporation was structurally characterized by the X-ray crystallography. The crystal is monoclinic, space group C2, with a = 1.8534(4) nm, b=0.5234(1) nm, c = 0.7212(1) nm, β=103.722°, V = 0.67965(3) nm3, Z = 4, F(000) = 144.0, Dclac = 1.763 g·cm-3, μ (MoKa) = 1.06 mm-1, T = 293(2) K.R = 0.0379, wR = 0.0835 for 660 observed reflections (I>2σ(I)). The structural formula of the crystal compound is (CH2CH(NH2)NO2)ClFe (Mr = 180.38u). Products of heavy ion beam irradiation were purified and it was directly confirmed that the implanted Fe+ ions had been deposited in the novel molecules. The same doses of Fe+ ion beams of the same energy were implanted into films of L(+)-cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate. 3Calculation of depth-dose distribution of intermediate energy heavy-ion beams显示文摘Based on the characteristics of the interactions between intermediate energy heavy-ion beam and target matter, a method to calculate the depth-dose distribution of heavy-ion beams with intermediate energy (10-100 MeV/u) is presented. By comparing high energy beams where projectile fragmentation is overwhelming with low energies where energy straggling is the sole factor instead, a crescent energy spread with increasing depth and a simple fragmentation assumption were included for the depth-dose calculation of the intermediate energy beam. Relative depth-dose curves of carbon and oxygen ion beams with intermediate energies were computed according to the method here. Comparisons between the calculated relative doses and measurements are shown. The calculated Bragg curves, especially the upstream and downstream Bragg peaks, agree with the measured data. 4Photochemical alteration of biogenic particles in wastewater effluents显示文摘Biogenic particles discharged by wastewater treatment plants play important roles in receiving water because of the large specific surface area and good mobility of the particles. In this study, the changes induced in biogenic particles by natural sunlight were investigated to understand the phototransformation of the particles in the receiving waters. The results showed that photoexposure resulted in significant decreases in the sizes of the biogenic particles but that photoexposure did not impact the zeta potentials. In addition, the photodissolution of biogenic particulate organic matter(POM) led to the generation of biogenic dissolved organic matter(DOM). Characterization using excitation–emission matrix(EEM) spectroscopy showed that photoexposure changed both the shapes and the intensities of the EEM spectra of the biogenic POM; the regions of the T1 and T2 peaks were susceptible to photoexposure. Modeling by parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC) decomposed the EEMs of the biogenic POM into four valid components, i.e., terrestrial or microbial humic-like substances, tryptophan-like proteins, tyrosinelike proteins and hydrophobic proteins. 5Method for Evaluating the Reliability of Compressor Impeller of Turbocharger for Vehicle Application in Plateau Area显示文摘As turbocharging diesel engines for vehicle application are applied in plateau area, the environmental adaptability of engines has drawn more attention. For the environmental adaptability problem of turbocharging diesel engines for vehicle application, the present studies almost focus on the optimization of performance match between turbocharger and engine, and the reliability problem of turbocharger is almost ignored. The reliability problem of compressor impeller of turbocharger for vehicle application when diesel engines operate in plateau area is studied. Firstly, the rule that the rotational speed of turbocharger changes with the altitude height is presented, and the potential failure modes of compressor impeller are analyzed. Then, the failure behavior models of compressor impeller are built, and the reliability models of compressor impeller operating in plateau area are developed. Finally, the rule that the reliability of compressor impeller changes with the altitude height is studied, the measurements for improving the reliability of the compressor impellers of turbocharger operating in plateau area are given. The results indicate that when the operating speed of diesel engine is certain, the rotational speed of turbocharger increases with the increase of altitude height, and the failure risk of compressor impeller with the failure modes of hub fatigue and blade resonance increases. The reliability of compressor impeller decreases with the increase of altitude height, and it also decreases as the increase of number of the mission profile cycle of engine. 7Do independent directors play a political role? Evidence from independent directors' death events显示文摘We propose that independent directors are likely to play a political role in an institutional setting featuring weak investor protection and strong government intervention. Using Chinese data for 2001–2014, we investigate whether the stock price reaction to an independent director's death is related to his or her political connection. We find a stronger negative reaction to the death announcements of politically connected than politically unconnected independent directors. The magnitude of the reaction is positively related to directors' political rank, and cannot be offset by their firms' political capital. However,we document no evidence of politically connected independent directors exhibiting superior monitoring or consulting performance. Additional analyses show that firms are more inclined to appoint a politically connected independent director as a successor if his or her predecessor also had political connections.
