1Parallel implementation of fast multipole method based on JASMIN显示文摘Fast multipole method (FMM) may reduce the complexity of N-body problems from O(N 2 ) to O(N log N) or O(N).It was applied in problems ranging from electromagnetic scattering to dislocation dynamics.FMM can be divided into two parts: commonness and individuality.A parallel solver of FMM commonly used in various applications has been designed and implemented in JASMIN infrastructure.The solver encapsulates the commonness.Furthermore,it supplies users with abstract interfaces required to implement the individuality with serial mode.The commonness contains distributed storage of multi-levels,intra-level and inter-level data communication,and arrangement of computation,etc.The individuality contains various expansion and translation operators.We give here two applications that have used the solver.Scalability was demonstrated with a parallel efficiency above 80% on 1024 processors.CAO XiaoLin MO ZeYao LIU Xu XU XiaoWen ZHANG AiQing 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,4:5
2Patterning catalyst via inkjet printing to grow single-walled carbon nanotubes显示文摘Controlled growth of patterned single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) is an important issue in many applications. Herein, we demonstrated a method to pattern catalyst via inkjet printing for the growth of SWNTs, using metal salt solutions as the inks and an ordinary office-use printer. We printed water solutions of cobalt acetate on hydrophilic Si substrates and grew high quality SWNT films. 3High-definition colorful perovskite narrowband photodetector array enabled by laser-direct-writing显示文摘Narrowband photodetectors as specific spectral sensing pixels have drawn intense attention in multispectral detection due to their distinct characteristic of filter-free spectrum discrimination,in which the emerging halide lead perovskites witness a booming development in their performance and wavelength-selectivity from blue to near-infrared light.However,the challenge in integrating perovskite narrowband photodetectors on one chip imposes an impediment on practical application.In this work,the combination of laser-direct-writing and ion exchange is proposed as an efficient way to fabricate high-definition colorful sensing array with perovskite narrowband photodetector unit as pixel.Under laser irradiation,the photolysis of halocarbon solvent(CHCl_(3),CH_(3)CH_(2)I,etc)releases the halide ions,which brings the ion exchange and gives rise to slow-varying bandgap in single perovskite photoactive film.This ion exchange can be controlled via laser irradiation time and focus point,thus enabling precisely engineerable bandgap.By optimizing the process,it is successfully applied to develop patterned perovskite narrow blue and green photodetectors array with a high-definition of~53 ppi.We believe this result will make a great step forward to integrate multifunctional perovskite devices on one chip,which will pave the way for perovskite optoelectronic device to the commercial application.Xiaobao Xu Yuhang Dong Yuanzhou Zhang Zeyao Han Jiaxin Liu Dejian Yu Yi Wei Yousheng Zou Bo Huang Jun Chen Haibo Zeng 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:2

5In situ monitoring of the structural change of microemulsions in simulated gastrointestinal conditions by SAXS and FRET显示文摘Microemulsions are promising drug delivery systems for the oral administration of poorly watersoluble drugs. However, the evolution of microemulsions in the gastrointestinal tract is still poorly characterized,especially the structural change of microemulsions under the effect of lipase and mucus. To better understand the fate of microemulsions in the gastrointestinal tract, we applied small-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS) and fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET) to monitor the structural change of microemulsions under the effect of lipolysis and mucus. First, the effect of lipolysis on microemulsions was studied by SAXS, which found the generation of liquid crystalline phases. Meanwhile, FRET spectra indicated micelles with smaller particle sizes were generated during lipolysis, which could be affected by CaCl_2, bile salts and lecithin. Then, the effect of mucus on the structural change of lipolysed microemulsions was studied. The results of SAXS and FRET indicated that the liquid crystalline phases disappeared, and more micelles were generated. 8Parallel Simulation of Groundwater Flow in the North China Plain显示文摘Numerical modeling is of crucial importance in understanding the behavior of regional groundwater system. However, the demand on modeling capability is intensive when performing high-resolution simulation over long time span. This paper presents the application of a parallel program to speed up the detailed modeling of the groundwater flow system in the North China Plain. The parallel program is implemented by rebuilding the well-known MODFLOW program on our parallelcomputing framework, which is achieved by designing patch-based parallel data structures and algorithms but maintaining the compute flow and functionalities of MODFLOW. The detailed model with more than one million grids and a decade of time has been solved. The parallel simulation results were examined against the field observed data and these two data are generally in good agreement. For the comparison on solution time, the parallel program running on 32 cores is 6 times faster than the fastest MICCG-based MODFLOW program and 11 times faster than the GMG-based MODFLOW program. 12Broadband and sensitive two-dimensional halide perovskite photodetector for full-spectrum underwater optical communication显示文摘Full-spectrum underwater optical communication(UOC)is of great significance for major strategic needs including resource development,scientific exploration,and homeland security.As the core of the full-spectrum UOC system,photodetectors(PDs)are plagued by stringent requirements including a broadband response,intrinsic water resistance,and a high detectivity.In this work,two-dimensional(2D)halide perovskites(HPs)and corresponding PDs are constructed by stearamine(SA),representing the rarely explored long-chain aliphatic amine series,to own waterproofness,ultralow noise,and superior optoelectronic performance,which consequently enable a high suitability for UOC.By dimensionality and composition modulations to extend the absorption onset down to 1.5 eV,a broadband response covering the entire transmission window of water(>1.55 eV)for full-spectrum UOC can be obtained.Besides,featuring a high responsivity of 3.27 A·W^(-1),a peak external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 630%,fast rise/decay times of 0.35 ms/0.54 ms,a superior detectivity up to 1.35×10^(12)Jones and the capability to distinguish various waveforms and light intensities,the PDs present sensitive and persistent photoresponse underwater.As a result,proof-of-concept wireless transmission of ASCII codes in water is demonstrated.Dejian Yu Fei Cao Yu Gu Zeyao Han Jiaxin Liu Bo Huang Xiaobao Xu Haibo Zeng 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:1

17Fertilization and clear-cutting effects on greenhouse gas emissions of pinewood nematode damaged Masson pine plantation显示文摘Introduction:Management practices are essential for maintaining forest ecological functions under increasing diseases and pest disasters.The effects of nitrogen fertilization(NF)and clear-cutting(CC)on the soil microbial community structure and greenhouse gases emission were investigated of pinewood nematodes(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)-infected Masson pine(Pinus massoniana)plantations.Outcomes:CC increased the soil microbial biomass carbon(SMBC)and soil microbial biomass nitrogen(SMBN)contents relative to the control(CK).NF increased the SMBN but had no significant effect on the SMBC content.The total fungal and bacterial abundances increased in the CC treatment compared with the CK,but there was no significant difference between the NF and CK.The cumulative soil CO_(2)emission(-2.35 t C·hm^(-2))was higher than that of CK(1.65 t C·hm^(-2))in summer,and the cumulative annual N_(2)O emission(16.90 kg N·hm^(-2)yr^(-1))of NF was approximately 47 times of CK(0.36 t N·hm^(-2)·yr^(-1)).CC increased the CO_(2)flux(-2.21 t C·hm^(-2))in summer but have no significantly effects on N_(2)O emission.Conclusion:These results indicated that NF and CC practices changed forest soil microbial community structure and affected soil greenhouse gas emissions in pinewood nematodes-infected Masson pine plantations.The CO_(2)emission rates increased in the NF and CC treatments,which reduced the carbon sequestration function of forests and had a negative impact on climate change.Xue Zhang Zeyao Zhao Tong Chen Tianyu Zhao Lihao Song Li Mei 2021Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2021,7,1:1

20Cluster identification and characterization of physical fields显示文摘The description of complex configuration is a difficult issue.We present a powerful technique for cluster identification and characterization.The scheme is designed to treat and analyze the experimental and/or simulation data from various methods.The main steps are as follows.We first divide the space using face or volume elements from discrete points.Then,we combine the elements with the same and/or similar properties to construct clusters with special physical characterizations.In the algorithm,we adopt an administrative structure of a hierarchy-tree for spatial bodies such as points,lines,faces,blocks,and clusters.Two fast search algorithms with the complexity lnN are generated.The establishment of the hierarchy-tree and the fast searching of spatial bodies are general,which are independent of spatial dimensions.Therefore,it is easy to extend the method to other fields.As a verification and validation,we applied this method and analyzed some two-dimensional and three-dimensional random data.ZHANG GuangCai,XU AiGuo,LU Guo & MO ZeYao National Key Laboratory of Computational Physics,Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics,Beijing 100088,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,9:1
