1Grenvillian orogeny in the Southern Cathaysia Block:Constraints from U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotopes in zircon from metamorphic basement显示文摘Metamorphic basement rocks in the Cathaysia Block are composed mainly of meta-sediments with different ages. New zircon U-Pb geochronological results from the meta-sedimentary rocks exposed in the Zengcheng and Hezi areas, southern Cathaysia Block, show that they consist dominantly of early Neoproterozoic (1.0―0.9 Ga) materials with minor Paleo- to Mesoproterozoic and late Neoproterozoic (0.8―0.6 Ga) components, suggesting that the detritus mostly come from a Grenvillian orogen. The youngest detrital zircon ages place a constraint on the deposition time of these sediments in Late Neoproterozoic. Zircon Hf isotopic compositions indicate that the Grenvillian zircons were derived from the reworking of Mesoproterozoic arc magmatic rocks and Paleoproterozoic continental crust, implying an arc-continent collisional setting. Single-peak age spectra and the presence of abundant euhedral Grenvillian zircons suggest that the sedimentary provenance is not far away from the sample location. Thus, the Grenvillian orogen probably preexisted along the southern margin of the Cathaysia Block, or very close to the south. Similarity in the ages of Grenvillian orogeny and the influence of the assembly of Gondwana in South China with India and East Antarctic are discussed, with suggestion that South China was more likely linked with the India-East Antarctica continents in Early Neoproterozoic rather than between western Laurentia and eastern Australia.WANG LiJuan YU JinHai S.Y. 2Behavior toxicity to Caenorhabditis elegans transferred to the progeny after exposure to sulfamethoxazole at environmentally relevant concentrations显示文摘Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) is one of the most common detected antibiotics in the environment.In order to study whether SMX can affect behavior and growth and whether these effects could be transferred to the progeny,Caenorhabditis elegans was exposed at environmentally relevant concentrations for 24,48,72 and 96 hr,respectively.After exposure,the exposed parent generation (P0) was measured for behavior and growth indicators,which were presented as percentage of controls (POC).Then their corresponding unexposed progeny (F1) was separated and measured for the same indicators.The lowest POC for P 0 after 96 hr-exposure at 100 mg/L were 37.8%,12.7%,45.8% and 70.1% for body bending frequency (BBF),reversal movement (RM),Omega turns (OT) and body length (BL),respectively.And F1 suffered defects with the lowest POC as 55.8%,24.1%,48.5% and 60.7% for BBF,RM,OT and BL,respectively.Defects in both P0 and F1 showed a time-and concentration-dependent fashion and behavior indicators showed better sensitivity than growth indicator.The observed effects on F1 demonstrated the transferable properties of SMX.Defects of SMX at environmental concentrations suggested that it is necessary to perform further systematical studies on its ecological risk in actual conditions.Zhenyang Yu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:12
3Pose Planning for the End-effector of Robot in the Welding of Intersecting Pipes显示文摘All-position robots are widely applied in the welding of complicated parts.Welding of intersecting pipes is one of the most typical tasks.The welding seam is a complicated saddle-like space curve,which puts a great challenge to the pose planning of end-effector.The special robots designed specifically for this kind of tasks are rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the pose planning for the end-effectors of robot in the welding of intersecting pipes is conducted. First,the intersecting curve of pipes is mathematically analyzed.The mathematical model of the most general intersecting curve of pipes is derived,and several special forms of this model in degraded situations are also discussed.A new pose planning approach of bisecting angle in main normal plane(BAMNP) for the welding-gun is proposed by using differential geometry and the comparison with the traditional bisecting angle in axial rotation plane(BAARP) method is also analytically conducted.The optimal pose of the welding-gun is to make the orientation posed at the center of the small space formed by the two cylinders and the intersecting curve to help the welding-pool run smoothly.The BAMNP method can make sure the pose vertical to the curve and center between the two cylinders at the same time,therefore its performance in welding-technique is superior to the BAARP method.By using the traditional BAARP method,the robot structure can become simpler and easier to be controlled,because one degree of freedom(DOF) of the robot can be reduced.For the special case of perpendicular intersecting,an index is constructed to evaluate the quality of welding technique in the process of welding.The effect of different combination of pipe size on this index is also discussed.On the basis of practical consideration,selection principle for BAARP and BAMNP is described.The simulations of those two methods for a serial joint-type robot are made in MATLAB,and the simulation results are consistent to the analysis.The mathematical model and the proposed new pose-planning method will lay a solid foundation for future researches on the control and design of all-position welding robots.LIU Yu ZHAO Jing LU Zhenyang CHEN Shujun 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2:7
4Synergy between metallic components of MoNi alloy for catalyzing highly efficient hydrogen storage of MgH2显示文摘Catalysts play a critical role in improving the hydrogen storage kinetics in Mg/MgH2 system.Exploring highly efficient catalysts and catalyst design principles are hot topics but challenging.The catalytic activity of metallic elements on dehydrogenation kinetics generally follows a sequence of Ti>Nb>Ni>V>Co>Mo.Herein,we report a highly efficient alloy catalyst composed of low-active elements of Mo and Ni(i.e.MoNi alloy)for MgH2 particles.MoNi alloy nanoparticles show excellent catalytic effect,even outperforming most advanced Ti-based catalysts.The synergy between Mo and Ni elements can promote the break of Mg-H bonds and the dissociation of hydrogen molecules,thus significantly improves the kinetics of Mg/MgH2 system.The MoNi-catalyzed Mg/MgH2 system can absorb and release 6.7 wt.%hydrogen within 60 s and 10 min at 300℃,respectively,and exhibits excellent cycling stability and low-temperature hydrogen storage performance.This study provides a strategy for designing efficient catalysts for hydrogen storage materials using the synergy of metal elements.Meng Chen Yanhui Pu Zhenyang Li Gang Huang Xiaofang Liu Yao Lu Wukui Tang Li Xu Shuangyu Liu Ronghai Yu Jianglan Shui 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:5

7Identification of Animal Rabies in Inner Mongolia and Analysis of the Etiologic Characteristics显示文摘Objective To perform pathological observation and etiological identification of specimens collected from dairy cows,beef cattle and dogs which were suspected of rabies in Inner Mongolia in 2011,and analyze their etiological characteristics. Methods Pathological observation was conducted on the brain specimens of three infected animals with Hematoxylin-Eosin staining,followed by confirmation using immunofluorescence and nested RT-PCR methods. Finally,phylogenetic analysis was conducted using the virus N gene sequence amplified from three specimens. Results Eosinophilic and cytoplasmic inclusion bodies were seen in neuronal cells of the CNS; and rabies non-characteristic histopathological changes were also detected in the CNS. The three brain specimens were detected positive. N gene nucleotide sequence of these three isolates showed distinct sequence identity,therefore they fell into different groups in the phylogenetic analysis. N gene in the cow and dog had higher homology with that in Hebei isolate,but that in the beef cattle had higher homology with that in Mongolian lupine isolate and Russian red fox isolate. 8Facile synthesized Cu-SnO2 anode materials with three-dimensional metal cluster conducting architecture for high performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Metal oxide anode material is one of promising candidates for the next-generation LIBs, due to its high theoretical capacity and low cost. The poor conductivity and huge volume change during charge/discharge, however, restrict the commercialization of metal oxide anode material. In this work, we design a novel Cu-SnO_2 composite derived from Cu_6 Sn_5 alloy with three dimensional(3 D) metal cluster conducting architecture. The novel Cu structure penetrates in the composite particles inducing high conductivity and space-confined SnO_2,which restrict the pulverization of SnO_2 during lithiation/delithiation process. The optimized Cu-SnO_2 composite anode delivers an initial discharge capacity of 933.7 mA h/g and retains a capacity of 536.1 mA h/g after 200 cycles, at 25℃ and a rate of 100 mA/g. 11Phase separation-hydrogen etching-derived Cu-decorated Cu-Mn bimetallic oxides with oxygen vacancies boosting superior sodium-ion storage kinetics显示文摘Understanding the crystal phase evolution of bimetallic oxide anodes is the main concern to profoundly reveal the conversion reaction kinetics and sodium-ion storage mechanisms.Herein,an integrated selfsupporting anode of the Cu-decorated Cu-Mn bimetallic oxides with oxygen vacancies(Ov-BMO-Cu)are in-situ generated by phase separation and hydrogen etching using nanoporous Cu-Mn alloy as selfsacrificial templates.On this basis,we have elucidated the relationship between the phase evolution,oxygen vacancies and sodium-ion storage mechanisms,further demonstrating the evolution of oxygen vacancies and the inhibition effect of manganese oxides as an“anchor”on grain aggregation of copper oxides.The kinetic analyses confirm that the expanded lattice space and increased oxygen vacancies of cycled Ov-BMO-Cu synergistically guarantee effective sodium-ion diffusion and storage mechanisms.Therefore,the Ov-BMO-Cu electrode exhibits higher reversible capacities of 4.04 mA h cm^(-2)at 0.2 mA cm^(-2)after 100 cycles and 2.20 m A h cm^(-2)at 1.0 mA cm^(-2)after 500 cycles.Besides,the presodiated Ov-BMO-Cu anode delivers a considerable reversible capacity of 0.79 m A h cm^(-2)at 1.0 mA cm^(-2)after 60 cycles in full cells with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)cathode,confirming its outstanding practicality.Thus,this work is expected to provide enlightenment for designing high-capacity bimetallic oxide anodes.Lin Yan Lingshuo Zong Qi Sun Junpeng Guo Zhenyang Yu Zhijun Qiao Jiuhui Han Zhenyu Cui Jianli Kang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:1

16A CONTINUUM DAMAGE MODEL OF AGING CONCRETE显示文摘There is up to now no constitutive model in the current theories of CDM that could give a description for the degradation of aging concrete. The two internal state variables β and ω are introduced in this paper. β is called cohesion variable as an additional kinematic parameter, reflecting the cohesion state among material particles. ω is called damage factor for micro-defects such as voids.Then a damage model and a series of constitutive equations are developed on Continuum Mechanics.The model proposed could give a valid description for the whole-course-degradation of aging concrete due tochemical and mechanical actions. 17SARS-CoV-2 N protein enhances the anti-apoptotic activity of MCL-1 to promote viral replication显示文摘Viral infection in respiratory tract usually leads to cell death,impairing respiratory function to cause severe disease.However,the diversity of clinical manifestations of SARS-CoV-2 infection increases the complexity and difficulty of viral infection prevention,and especially the high-frequency asymptomatic infection increases the risk of virus transmission.Studying how SARS-CoV-2 affects apoptotic pathway may help to understand the pathological process of its infection.Here,we uncovered SARS-CoV-2 imployed a distinct anti-apoptotic mechanism via its N protein.We found SARS-CoV-2 virus-like particles(trVLP)suppressed cell apoptosis,but the trVLP lacking N protein didn’t.Further study verified that N protein repressed cell apoptosis in cultured cells,human lung organoids and mice.Mechanistically,N protein specifically interacted with anti-apoptotic protein MCL-1,and recruited a deubiquitinating enzyme USP15 to remove the K63-linked ubiquitination of MCL-1,which stabilized this protein and promoted it to hijack Bak in mitochondria.Importantly,N protein promoted the replications of IAV,DENV and ZIKV,and exacerbated death of IAV-infected mice,all of which could be blocked by a MCL-1 specific inhibitor,S63845.Altogether,we identifed a distinct anti-apoptotic function of the N protein,through which it promoted viral replication.These may explain how SARS-CoV-2 effectively replicates in asymptomatic individuals without cuasing respiratory dysfunction,and indicate a risk of enhanced coinfection with other viruses.We anticipate that abrogating the N/MCL-1-dominated apoptosis repression is conducive to the treatments of SARS-CoV-2 infection as well as coinfections with other viruses.Pan Pan Weiwei Ge Zhiwei Lei Wei luo Yuqing Liu Zhanwen Guan Lumiao Chen Zhenyang Yu Miaomiao Shen Dingwen Hu Qi Xiang Wenbiao Wang Pin Wan Mingfu Tian Yang Yu Zhen Luo Xulin Chen Heng Xiao Qiwei Zhang Xujing Liang Xin Chen Yongkui Li Jianguo Wu 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,6:0
18Microbial diversity in lake sediments detected by PCR-DGGE显示文摘In this study,PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE)was applied to analyze the microbial communities in lake sediments from Lake Xuanwu,Lake Mochou in Nanjing and Lake Taihu in Wuxi.Sediment samples from seven locations in three lakes were collected and their genomic DNAs were extracted.The DNA yields of the sediments of Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou were high(10 mg/g),while that of sediments in Lake Taihu was relatively low.After DNA purification,the 16S rDNA genes(V3 to V5 region)were amplified and the amplified DNA fragments were separated by parallel DGGE.The DGGE profiles showed that there were five common bands in all the lake sediment samples indicating that there were similarities among the populations of microorganisms in all the lake sediments.The DGGE profiles of Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou were similar and about 20 types of micro-organisms were identified in the sediment samples of both lakes.These results suggest that the sediment samples of these two city lakes(Xuanwu,Mochou)have similar microbial communities.However,the DGGE profiles of sediment samples in Lake Taihu were significantly different from these two lakes.Furthermore,the DGGE profiles of sediment samples in different locations in Lake Taihu were also different,suggesting that the microbial communities in Lake Taihu are more diversified than those in Lake Xuanwu and Lake Mochou.The differences in microbial diversity may be caused by the different environmental conditions,such as redox potential,pH,and the concentrations of organic matters.Seven major bands of 16S rDNA genes fragments from the DGGE profiles of sediment samples were further reamplified and sequenced.The results of sequencing analysis indicate that five sequences shared 99%-100%homology with known sequences(Bacillus and Brevibacillus,uncultured bacteria),while the other two sequences shared 93%-96%homology with known sequences(Acinetobacter,and Bacillus).The study shows that the PCR-DGGE technique combined with sequence analysis is a feasible and efficient method for the determination of microbial communities in sediment samples.Xinqing ZHAO Liuyan YANG Can CHEN Lin XIAO Lijuan JIANG Zhe MA Haowei ZHU Zhenyang YU Daqiang YIN 2008Frontiers in Biology2008,3,3:0
19Sex biased expression of hormone related genes at early stage of sex differentiation in papaya flowers显示文摘Sex types of papaya are controlled by a pair of nascent sex chromosomes,but molecular genetic mechanisms of sex determination and sex differentiation in papaya are still unclear.We performed comparative analysis of transcriptomic profiles of male and female floral buds at the early development stage before the initiation of reproductive organ primordia at which there is no morphological difference between male and female flowers.A total of 1734 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified,of which 923 showed female-biased expression and 811 showed male-biased expression.Functional annotation revealed that genes related to plant hormone biosynthesis and signaling pathways,especially in abscisic acid and auxin pathways,were overrepresented in the DEGs.Transcription factor binding motifs,such as MYB2,GAMYB,and AP2/EREBP,were enriched in the promoters of the hormone-related DEGs,and transcription factors with those motifs also exhibited differential expression between sex types.Among these DEGs,we also identified 11 genes in the non-recombining region of the papaya sex chromosomes and 9 genes involved in stamen and carpel development.Our results suggested that sex differentiation in papaya may be regulated by multiple layers of regulation and coordination and involved transcriptional,epigenetic,and phytohormone regulation.Hormones,especially ABA and auxin,transcription factors,and genes in the non-recombination region of the sex chromosome could be involved in this process.Our findings may facilitate the elucidation of signal transduction and gene interaction in sex differentiation of unisexual flowers in papaya.Juan Liu Li-Yu Chen Ping Zhou Zhenyang Liao Hai Lin Qingyi Yu Ray Ming 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:0
20Reproductive Influences of Erythromycin and Sulfamethoxazole on Caenorhabditis elegans over Generations Mediated by Lipid Metabolism显示文摘Antibiotics are emerging pollutants with pseudo-persistence.However,their reproductive toxicities over generations and underlying mechanisms were seldom explored.In the present study,reproductive effects of erythromycin(ERY)and sulfamethoxazole(SMZ)were studied on Caenorhabditis elegans(C.elegans)with multi-generational exposure from F1 to F4,and their effects in the non-direct exposed offspring of F1 and F4(T4 and T4’)were explored to investigate trans-generational outcomes.At high concentrations,ERY and SMZ inhibited the reproduction and the inhibition decreased with more generations’exposure.At low concentrations,SMZ stimulated reproduction in T4,opposite to its inhibition in F1.Further analysis on ten enzymes and proteins in lipid and glucolipid metabolism showed that ERY commonly inhibited fatty acid synthetase(FAS)in F1 to F4,while ERY and SMZ showed stimulation and inhibition on other biochemicals.Integrated biomarker response(IBR)index values showed that ERY and SMZ stimulated the overall metabolism in F1,and the stimulation decreased and even altered to inhibition in later generations.When comparing multi-and trans-generational effects,ERY and SMZ at high concentration caused inhibition on reproduction in T4 and stimulation in T4’,which were opposite to those in F1 and F4.YU Zhenyang WANG Lei LI Gaotian ZHANG Jing 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,3:0
