1Recent advances in autofluorescence-free biosensing and bioimaging based on persistent luminescence nanoparticles显示文摘Persistent luminescence nanoparticles (PLNPs) are a series of emerging luminescent nanomaterials which can emit persistently after ceasing the external excitation. Due to the long decay time of persistent luminescence, the background autofluorescence in complex sample and tissues can be effectively eliminated, thus significantly improving the sensitivity of bioanalysis. Besides, such a long decay time of luminescence also makes PLNPs valuable for long-term bioimaging. Benefiting from these merits, PLNPs have been widely used for biomedical applications, especially biosensing and bioimaging. 3Proteomics provides individualized options of precision medicine for patients with gastric cancer显示文摘While precision medicine driven by genome sequencing has revolutionized cancer care,such as lung cancer,its impact on gastric cancer(GC)has been minimal.GC patients are routinely treated with chemotherapy,but only a fraction of them receive the clinical benefit.There is an urgent need to develop biomarkers or algorithms to select chemo-sensitive patients or apply targeted therapy.Here,we carried out retrospective analyses of 1,020 formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded GC surgical resection samples from 5 hospitals and developed a mass spectrometry-based workflow for proteomic subtyping of GC.We identified two proteomic subtypes:the chemo-sensitive group(CSG)and the chemo-insensitive group(CIG)in the discovery set.The 5-year overall survival of CSG was significantly improved in patients who had received adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery compared with those who received surgery only(64.2%vs.49.6%;Cox P-value=0.002),whereas no such improvement was observed in CIG(50.0%vs.58.6%;Cox P-value=0.495).We validated these results in an independent validation set.Further,differential proteome analysis uncovered 9 FDA-approved drugs that may be applicable for targeted therapy of GC.A prospective study is warranted to test these findings for future GC patient care.Wenwen Huang Dongdong Zhan Yazhuo Li Nairen Zheng Xin Wei Bin Bai Kecheng Zhang Mingwei Liu Xuefei Zhao Xiaotian Ni Xia Xia Jinwen Shi Cheng Zhang Zhihao Lu Jiafu Ji Juan Wang Shiqi Wang Gang Ji Jipeng Li Yongzhan Nie Wenquan Liang Xiaosong Wu Jianxin Cui Yongsheng Meng Feilin Cao Tieliu Shi Weimin Zhu Yi Wang Lin Chen Qingchuan Zhao Hongwei Wang Lin Shen Jun Qin 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,8:3
4Retrospective study of cetuximab in combination with chemotherapy for patients with colorectal cancer显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of cetuximab combined with chemotherapy in colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods: 35 cases of CRC were retrospectively analyzed. Efficacy and adverse events were observed. Results: 29 cases of CRC were evaluated by RECIST criteria, showing 7 PR (partial response, 24.1%) and 15 SD (stable disease, 51.8%), disease control rate (DC) was 75.9%. Subgroup analysis showed response rate (RR) of 36.4% and DC of 91% in the 1st line therapy, RR of 20% and DC of 70% in the 2nd line therapy, RR of 12.5% and DC of 62.5% in heavily pretreated cases. Rash appeared in 74.3% of patients (grade 3 was 8.6%), and the severity was relevant with disease control rate (DC). Neutropenia of grade 3/4 was 14.3%, and infusion related reaction (IRR) of grade 3 happened in 1 case (2.9%). Conclusion: Cetuximab combined with chemotherapy is safe and effective for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. The combination therapy shows high DC, especially in 1st line therapy. 6Current Status and Future Perspective of Immunotherapy in Gastrointestinal Cancers显示文摘Gastrointestinal(GI)cancers represent a major public health problem worldwide.Due to the late detection and high heterogeneity of GI cancers,traditional treatments,including surgery,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,and targeted therapy,have shown limited effects,and the overall prognosis of these patients remains poor.Recently,immunotherapy,involving programmed cell death-1(PD-1)and its ligand(PD-L1),has shown promising efficacy in several solid cancers and seems to have become a potential treatment option for GI cancers This review focuses on data on the development of immunotherapy-based clinical trials in esophageal cancer,gastric cancer,and colorectal cancer.The predictive biomarkers and combination strategies in clinical trials and translational medicine are also discussed.Finally,prospects for immunotherapy in the treatment of GI cancers are described.Although only a small proportion of patients with GI cancers respond to PD-1/PD-L1 blockade,we strongly believe that precision immunotherapy might improve the overall survival of many more GI cancer patients in the future.Zhihao Lu Zhi Peng Chang Liu Zhenghang Wang Yakun Wang Xi Jiao Jian Li Lin Shen 2020The Innovation2020,1,2:1

14High conductivity polymer electrolyte with comb-like structure via a solvent-free UV-cured method for large-area ambient all-solid-sate lithium batteries显示文摘A novel solid polymer electrolyte with comb-like structure is prepared via a solvent-free UV-cured method.The relationship between conductivity and molecular weight is investigated and revealed.The optimal electrolyte presents a considerably high conductivity of 1.44·10^(-4)S·cm^(-1)at 30℃.Meanwhile,it shows excellent compatibility with metallic lithium and wide electrochemical window(>5 V).To investigate the safety and cycling performance,the coin cell and soft package battery are assembled respectively.The LiFePO_(4)/Li coin cells exhibit initial discharge specific capacities of 163.2,147.7,137.3 and 108.7 mA·h·g^(-1)at 0.1,0.2,0.5 and 1C under 60℃,respectively.Notably,when the coin cells work at 30℃,the initial discharge specific capacities at 0.05,0.1,0.2 and 0.5C are 140.5,133.5,107.7 and 55.6 mA·h·g^(-1).Significantly,a 3.5 cm×7 cm solid-state soft pack battery is fabricated and cycling at 30℃.The first discharge capacity reaches to 137.5 mA·h·g^(-1)and the capacity retention is as high as 84.4%after 100 cycles at 0.2C and remain 95.5%after 100 cycles at 0.5C,respectively.These results shows a promising solid polymer electrolyte for solid-state batteries with good cycling and safety performance.Zhihao Wang Shaojie Chen Zhen Huang Zhenyao Wei Lin Shen Hui Gu Xiaoxiong Xu Xiayin Yao 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:1

20Flexible triboelectric nanogenerator toward ultrahigh-frequency vibration sensing显示文摘Flexible high-frequency vibration sensors are highly desirable in various real-world applications such as structural health monitoring,environmental monitoring,and the internet of things.However,developing a facile and effective method to fabricate vibration sensors simultaneously featuring high vibration frequency response-ability and flexibility remains a grand challenge.Herein,we report a flexible ultrahigh-frequency triboelectric vibration sensor(UTVS)prepared by a layer-particle-layer structure.Owing to the flexibility of the materials(i.e.,polyethylene terephthalate membrane)and the ultrahigh-frequency vibration response-ability of internal microparticles,the flexible UTVS exhibits an enhanced working frequency range of 3–170 kHz,which is much broader than previously reported triboelectric vibration sensors.Moreover,the UTVS can work not only in a flat state but also in a bent state due to its flexibility and the unique layer-particle-layer structural design.The UTVS shows nanometer-level vibration response-ability,omnidirectional response,stability in the temperature range of 10–70°C,good frequency resolution of 0.01 kHz,and excellent performance in burst vibration detection(e.g.,pencil lead break events and impact events from falling steel balls).With a collection of compelling features,the device is successfully demonstrated in vibration monitoring of curved structures(e.g.,real-time water pipeline leak monitoring).Such a flexible ultrahigh-frequency triboelectric vibration sensor holds great potential in a wide range of practical applications,such as communication,health care,and infrastructure monitoring.Zhiwei Lin Chenchen Sun Gaoqiang Zhang Endong Fan Zhihao Zhou Ziying Shen Jun Yang Mingyang Liu Yushu Xia Shaobo Si Jin Yang 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
