Enhanced interfacial polarization of defective porous carbon confined CoP nanoparticles forming Mott-Schottky heterojunction for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Integrating heterogeneous interface through nanostructure design and interfacial modification is essential to realize strengthened interfacial polarization relaxation in electromagnetic wave absorption. However,an in-depth comprehension of the interfacial polarization behavior at hetero-junction/interface is highly desired but remains a great challenge.Herein,a Mott-Schottky heterojunction consisting of honeycomb-like porous N-doped carbon confined CoP nanoparticles(CoP@HNC)is designed to elevate the interfacial polarization strength.Simultaneously, corresponding electron migration and redistribution between the heterointerface of defective carbon and CoP nanoparticles are revealed. The significant difference in the work function on both sides of heterogeneous interface boosts the interfacial polarization in high frequency region.Furthermore, the relevant spectroscopic characterizations demonstrate that electron spontaneously migrates from CoP to N-doped carbon at the heterointerface, thereby contributing to the accumulation of electron on defective carbon side and the distribution of hole on CoP side.Impressively, benefitting from the synergistic effects of three-dimensional porous conductive carbon skeleton, foreign N heteroatoms, special CoP nanoparticles, and the resultant CoP/N-doped carbon Mott-Schottky heterojunction, the CoP@HNC exhibits remarkable electromagnetic wave absorption performances with minimum reflection loss up to−60.8 dB and the maximum effective absorption bandwidth of 4.96 GHz,which is superior to most of recently reported transition metal phosphides microwave absorbing composites. The present work opens a new avenue for designing heterogeneous interface to realize strengthened microwave absorption capability and also reveals the in-depth influence of interface structure on electromagnetic wave absorption. | Baojun Wang Fangzhi Huang Hao Wu Zijie Xu Shipeng Wang Qinghua Han Fenghua Liu Shikuo Li Hui Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 2

Blood oxygenation-level dependent functional MRI in evaluating the selective activation of motor cortexes associated with recovery of motor function in hemiplegic patients with ischemic stroke显示文摘BACKGROUND: Previous studies about blood oxygenation-level dependent (BOLD) functional MRI (fMRI) have indicated that the poststroke recovery of motor function is accompanied by the selective activation of motor cortexes with high correlation. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the short-term outcomes after rehabilitative interventions with BOLD fMRI in hemiplegic patients with acute stroke, and analyze the correlation of the excitement of brain function in the passive and active movements of the affected limb with the recovery of motor function. DESIGN: A case observation. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Baotou Central Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: Thirty hemiplegic inpatients with ischemic stroke were selected from the Department of Neurology, Baotou Central Hospital from January to December in 2005, including 16 males and 14 females, aging 44-71 years with an average age of (56±5) years, and the disease course ranged from 12 to 72 hours. Inclusive criteria: In accordance with the diagnostic standard of ischemic stroke revised by the Fourth National Academic Meeting for Cerebrovascular Disease; Confirmed by cranial CT or MRI. They were all informed agreed with the detected items. METHODS: ① The Bobath technique was adopted in the rehabilitative interventions of the 30 patients, 30 minutes for each time, twice a day for three weeks continuously. ② The hand motor recovery of the stroke patients was graded by the Brunnstrom stages (Ⅰ-Ⅵ), and be able to grasp various objects and extend for the whole range was taken as grade Ⅵ. ③ The patients were examined with fMRI BOLD before rehabilitation and 3 weeks after rehabilitation. All the patients were trained with finger movements, the distracting thoughts should be eliminated as much as possible especially during the movement phase, the patients should highly concentrate on the hand movements. The range for the finger movements should be as large as possible with moderate frequency. The hand movements should be 10 s with an interval of 30 s. Te AVANTO 1.5T MRI machine (Siemens Company, Germany) was used for scanning, the 30 s before fMRI BOLD scanning was the adaptation phase for the patients, and the finger movements were alternated for 6-10 times till the end of the scanning. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Differences after rehabilitation evaluated by the activations of different sensorimotor cortex in the hemiplegic patients with acute stroke. RESULTS: ① In passive and active movements of the affected hand, 5 cases of Brunnstrom grade Ⅰ orⅡ were manifested by the activation of unilateral sensorimotor cortex (SMC) of the hemiplegic side, and they were Brunnstrom grade Ⅱ after 3-week rehabilitation, and 1 case with activations of bilateral SMC recovered to Brunnstrom grade Ⅲ. ② Among the patients of Brunnstrom gradeⅢ or Ⅳ, 5 cases were unilaterally activated, and had no changes after 3-week rehabilitation; Whereas of the 9 cases of bilateral activations, 3 recovered to grade Ⅵ and 6 recovered to grade Ⅴ after 3-week rehabilitation. ③ In the passive and active movements of the affected hand, all the cases of Brunnstrom grades Ⅴ and Ⅵ were manifested by the activations of bilateral SMC. After 3-week rehabilitation, 2 of the 4 cases of grade Ⅴ recovered to grade Ⅵ, and the other 2 recovered to normal; Whereas 5 of the 6 cases of grade Ⅵ recovered to normal, and the other 1 was still grade Ⅵ. CONCLUSION: BOLD fMRI showed that the outcomes of short-term rehabilitation in the patients with bilateral activations were obvious, whereas the outcomes were bad in the patients whose ipsilateral cortexes were activated. The activated signal in ipsilateral or bilateral SMC and the activation of supplementary motor area in active movements were greater than those in the passive ones. | Yuechun Li Guorong Liu Ying He Baojun Wang Furu Liang Li Wang Hui Zhang Jingfen Zhang Ruiming Li Xiaoyan Liu | 2006 | Neural Regeneration Research2006,1,5: | 1

Promoting the microwave absorption performance of hierarchical CF@NiO/Ni composites via phase and morphology evolution显示文摘Lightweight and efficient carbon-based microwave absorbents are significant in addressing the increasing severity of electromagnetic pollution. In this study, hierarchical NiO/Ni nanosheets with a tuneable phase and morphology supported on a carbon fiber substrate(CF@NiO/Ni)were fabricated using a hydrothermal approach and post-annealing treatment. As the annealing temperature increases, more metallic Ni is formed, and an apparent porosity appears on the sheet surface.Benefiting from the advantages of a three-dimensional(3D)conducting network, hierarchical porous structure, reinforced dipole/interface polarization, multiple scattering, and good impedance matching, the CF@NiO/Ni-500 composite exhibits an excellent microwave absorption performance even at a filling rate of only 3wt%.Specifically,its minimal reflection loss is-43.92 dB,and the qualified bandwidth is up to 5.64 GHz.In addition, the low radar cross-section area of the CF@NiO/Ni composite coating confirms its strong ability to suppress electromagnetic wave scattering. We expect that this work could contribute to a deeper understanding of the phase and morphology evolution in enhancing microwave absorption. | Shipeng Wang Ziyan Liu Qiangchun Liu Baojun Wang Wei Wei Hao Wu Zijie Xu Shikuo Li Fangzhi Huang Hui Zhang | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,3: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 10 | Broadband impedance spectrum detection of buffer layer defects in 110 kV crosslinked polyethylene cable with corrugated aluminium sheath显示文摘The buffer layer defects of high‐voltage crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)cable occur frequently, which makes the detection method become the focus to be studied. Here, the broadband impedance detection technology for the buffer layer defects of high‐voltage XLPE cables with corrugated aluminium sheath is investigated. There are nine cable samples, including new and defective ones. Some of the defective cables are artificial, and the other is retired cables. The influence of wiring mode, the circumferential relative position of electrodes, cable length, artificial white powder, artificial damp, and retired defective cables on the impedance spectrum is studied. It is found that the wiring mode of the insulation shield/aluminium sheath at the end of the cable can effectively detect the buffer layer defects. And the broadband impedance amplitude spectrum of the buffer layer in defective cable, measuring at various circumferential relative positions,is obviously different. When there are white powders, air gaps,or ablation in the buffer layer, the broadband impedance spectrum(BIS)will increase by several times. When the buffer layer is damped, the BIS will reduce. The research here provides theoretical support and technical methods for the buffer layer defects of XLPE cable with corrugated aluminium sheath. | Yanpeng Hao Peng Zhao Baojun Hui Yanting Cheng Wenbo Zhu Mingli Fu Xiaodong Li | 2023 | High Voltage2023,8,5: | 0
Patterning Defect Study for Process Integration Engineering Using Pattern Fidelity Monitoring with Review SEM Images显示文摘Normally the optical wafer inspection tools are used for advanced process control in high volume manufacturing of semiconductor devices. The SEM Review is done for limited sample of inspection defects to do defect based process characterization. The defect classes that are monitored normally indicate process and random defect issues. There is limited to no information of patterning related issues in real time defect monitor. Moreover, with the objective of process integration engineering of multiple processes it becomes harder to see the evolution of a defect in the line. The Die-to-Database Pattern Monitor (D2DB-PM) solution has addressed this problem. It uses the existing high resolution images from the Review and Metrology tools and compares the pattern shapes with the design reference. This way it captures patterning deviations in real time. Here we report the subtle defect problem encountered in process integration and the results from using the D2DB-PM solution. We found that this approach reduces the workload on CDSEM tools by analyzing SEM Review images instead and the automated reports improves the efficiency of all process teams. | Yu Zhang Abhishek Vikram Ming Tian Tianpeng Guan Jianghua Leng Baojun Zhao Lei Yan Wei Hu Guojie Chen Hui Wang Gary Zhang Wenkui Liao | 2019 | Journal of Microelectronic Manufacturing2019,2,2: | 0
