1Activin A prevents neuron-like PC12 cell apoptosis after oxygen-glucose deprivation显示文摘In this study, PC12 cells were induced to differentiate into neuron-like cells using nerve growth facto and were subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation. Cells were treated with 0, 10, 20, 30, 50, 100 ng/mL exogenous Activin A. The 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay and Hoechst 33324 staining showed that the survival percentage of PC12 cells significantly decreased and the rate of apoptosis significantly increased after oxygen-glucose deprivation. Exogenous Activin A significantly increased the survival percentage of PC12 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Reverse transcription-PCR results revealed a significant increase in Activin receptor IIA, Smad3 and Smad4 mRNA levels, which are key sites in the Activin A/Smads signaling pathway, in neuron-like cells subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation, while mRNA expression of the apoptosis-regulation gene caspase-3 decreased. 2Synthesis of mesoporous silica microspheres by a spray-assisted carbonation microreaction method显示文摘A novel spray-assisted carbonation microreaction method for the synthesis of mesoporous silica microspheres is reported.The synthetic process comprises the preparation of a silica sol via a carbonation reaction,rapid gelation at high temperature,and subsequent rapid solvent evaporation by spray drying.The carbonation microreaction was conducted in a membrane dispersion microreactor,in the presence of sodium silicate and carbon dioxide reactants.The as-synthesized silica microspheres exhibit a uniform mesostructure,excellent dispersity,and a narrow particle size distribution,with average diameters of 1-2 μm,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface areas of 300-1149m2/g,and total pore volumes of 0.21-1.82 cm3/g.Relatively low concentrations of the silicate species and well-controlled silica condensation rates are responsible for the formation of the observed spherical morphology.The synthetic process is of significant practical importance as a result of using low-cost raw materials,and because of the excellent controllability and process stability displayed.Furthermore,this rapid and flexible method may be extended to the synthesis of various silica materials and their composites.Chunli Han Yunpeng Hu Kai Wang Guangsheng Luo 2020Particuology2020,18,3:3

4A micro-nano optogenetic system based on probiotics for in situ host metabolism regulation显示文摘Genetically engineered bacteria have aroused attention as micro-nano drug delivery systems in situ.However,conventional designs of engineered bacteria usually function constantly or autonomously,which might be non-specific or imprecise.Therefore,designing and optimizing in situ control strategy are important methodological progress for therapeutic researches of intestinal engineered bacteria.Here,a micro-nano optogenetic system based on probiotic was developed combining microelectronics,nanotechnology,and synthetic biology to achieve in situ controllable drug delivery.Firstly,optogenetic engineered Lactococcus lactis was orally administrated in the intestinal tract.A wearable optical device was designed to control optical signals remotely.Then,L.lactis could be customized to secrete peptides according to optical signals.As an example,optogenetic L.lactis system can be constructed to secrete glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)under the control of the wearable optical device to regulate metabolism.To improve the half-life of GLP-1 in vivo,Fc-domain fused GLP-1 was optimally used.Using this strategy,blood glucose,weight,and other features were well controlled in rats and mice models.Furthermore,upconversion microcapsules were introduced to increase the excitation wavelength of the optogenetic system for better penetrability.This strategy has biomedical potential to expand the toolbox for intestinal engineered bacteria.Xinyu Zhang Ning Ma Wei Ling Gaoju Pang Tao Sun Jing Liu Huizhuo Pan Meihui Cui Chunli Han Chun Yang Jin Chang Xian Huang Hanjie Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:2
5Adding Chinese herbal medicine to probiotics for irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea:A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Objective:This study assessed whether Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)combined with probiotics/synbiotics for irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea(IBS-D)was more effective and safer than probiotics/synbiotics alone.Methods:Ten databases were searched for randomized control trials(RCTs)of IBS-D as diagnosed by Manning or Rome criteria.Trials comparing probiotics and probiotics with CHM were included.The Cochrane risk of bias(ROB)was evaluated for each trial.RevMan 5.3 was used to conduct a meta-analysis.Results:Twenty-six RCTs were included(25 Chinese,1 English),involving 2045 participants.Metaanalysis was conducted on two outcomes:overall symptom improvement and relapse.CHM combined with live Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus preparations reduced relapse rate(RR 0.28,95%CI 0.15e0.52,3 trials,n?205)compared with probiotics alone.The subgroup analysis showed the benefit of CHM prescriptions based on soothing liver and invigorating spleen(1.28,1.14e1.44,3,244),invigorating spleen and resolving dampness(1.20,1.03e1.41,2,128),or warming and invigorating spleen and kidney formulae(1.27,1.09e1.46,2,210)combined with triple Bifidobacterium preparations than the same probiotics alone which improved overall symptoms for IBS-D.There was unclear bias in almost domains of ROB.Most studies had a high risk of bias due to lack of blinding of investigator and participants,and selective reporting.Conclusions:This study showed that CHM combined with probiotics may reduce relapse rate by 72%,and improve overall symptoms of IBS-D(as diagnosed by Rome II and III)compared to probiotics alone.From the limited subgroup analysis,only soothing liver and invigorating spleen formulae,represented by Tongxie Yaofang,added to triple Bifidobacterium preparations may be superior to the single preparations in terms of overall symptoms.However,due to the poor methodological quality and small sample size of the trials,these findings must be interpreted with caution.Fanlong Bu Weiguang Wang Ruilin Chen Ziyi Lin Mei Han Nicola Robinson Xuehan Liu Chunli Lu Jianping Liu 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,1:0
6Dynamic Pricing Model of E-Commerce Platforms Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning显示文摘With the continuous development of artificial intelligence technology,its application field has gradually expanded.To further apply the deep reinforcement learning technology to the field of dynamic pricing,we build an intelligent dynamic pricing system,introduce the reinforcement learning technology related to dynamic pricing,and introduce existing research on the number of suppliers(single supplier and multiple suppliers),environmental models,and selection algorithms.A two-period dynamic pricing game model is designed to assess the optimal pricing strategy for e-commerce platforms under two market conditions and two consumer participation conditions.The first step is to analyze the pricing strategies of e-commerce platforms in mature markets,analyze the optimal pricing and profits of various enterprises under different strategy combinations,compare different market equilibriums and solve the Nash equilibrium.Then,assuming that all consumers are naive in the market,the pricing strategy of the duopoly e-commerce platform in emerging markets is analyzed.By comparing and analyzing the optimal pricing and total profit of each enterprise under different strategy combinations,the subgame refined Nash equilibrium is solved.Finally,assuming that the market includes all experienced consumers,the pricing strategy of the duopoly e-commerce platform in emerging markets is analyzed.Chunli Yin Jinglong Han 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,4:0
7G×E Analysis of Growth Traits of Betula platyphylla Clones at Three Separated Sites in Northeastern China显示文摘To select elite materials,the growth traits of 32 Betula platyphylla clones at three separated northern sites in Northeast China were investigated and analyzed.The results showed that there were significant differences among all variation sources in the different investigated traits(P<0.01).Except for the carbon contents,all the coeffi-cients of phenotypic variation of the other investigated traits were higher than 10%.The repeatability of different traits ranged from 0.760 to 0.998.Correlation analysis showed that tree height were significantly correlated with diameter at breast height,but neither was significantly correlated with leaf traits nor element contents.Additive main effects and multiplicative interaction analysis showed that genotype,environment and genotype×environment interactions were significantly different in diameter at breast height,which indicated that environment had a significant effect on genotype.Comprehensive assessment results showed that three clones with high and stable diameters at breast height were selected,and the genetic gains of diameter at breast height on sites Maoershan,Qingan,and Yongji were 21.24%,20.58%,and 38.65%,respectively.The results could provide a theoretical basis for elite clone selection in B.platyphylla and other broad leaved species.Yuxi Li Xinxin Zhang Qinhui Zhang Luping Jiang Rui Han Siqi Sun Xiaoqing Hu Xiaona Pei Chunli Zhao Xiyang Zhao 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,9:0

9Vanadium-based cathodes for aqueous zinc ion batteries: Structure,mechanism and prospects显示文摘As an emerging energy storage device with high-safety aqueous electrolytes, low-cost, environmental benignity and large-reserves, the rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs) have attracted more and more attention. Vanadium-based compounds are also supposed as the potential candidate cathode materials for AZIBs due to their wide variety of phases, variable crystal structures and high theoretical capacity. In this review, the recent progress in the development of vanadium-based materials was summarized,and the relationship between the crystal structure types of active materials and Zn-ion transport mechanism was highlighted. During the charge-discharge process, the different electrostatic repulsion between the cations of vanadium-based compounds with different crystal structures and Zn^(2+)results in a variety of the Zn-ion storage mechanisms, which can be significant guidance for designing the advanced batteryelectrode materials for AZIBs. Furthermore, other factors associated with the storage mechanisms, such as electrolyte components and electrode morphology, are discussed.
