1Screen-imaging guidance using a modified portable video macroscope for middle cerebral artery occlusion显示文摘The use of operating microscopes is limited by the focal length.Surgeons using these instruments cannot simultaneously view and access the surgical field and must choose one or the other.The longer focal length (more than 1 000 mm) of an operating telescope permits a position away from the operating field,above the surgeon and out of the field of view.This gives the telescope an advantage over an operating microscope.We developed a telescopic system using screen-imaging guidance and a modified portable video macroscope constructed from a Computar MLH-10 × macro lens,a DFK-21AU04 USB CCD Camera and a Dell laptop computer as monitor screen.This system was used to establish a middle cerebral artery occlusion model in rats.Results showed that magnification of the modified portable video macroscope was appropriate (5-20 ×) even though the Computar MLH-10 × macro lens was placed 800 mm away from the operating field rather than at the specified working distance of 152.4 mm with a zoom of 1-40 ×.The screen-imaging telescopic technique was clear,life-like,stereoscopic and matched the actual operation.Screen-imaging guidance led to an accurate,smooth,minimally invasive and comparatively easy surgical procedure.Success rate of the model establishment evaluated by neurological function using the modified neurological score system was 74.07%.There was no significant difference in model establishment time,sensorimotor deficit and infarct volume percentage.Our findings indicate that the telescopic lens is effective in the screen surgical operation mode referred to as 'long distance observation and short distance operation' and that screen-imaging guidance using an modified portable video macroscope can be utilized for the establishment of a middle cerebral artery occlusion model and micro-neurosurgery.Xingbao Zhu Junli Luo Yun Liu Guolong Chen Song Liu Qiangjin Ruan Xunding Deng Dianchun Wang Quanshui Fan Xinghua Pan 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,12:6
2Effect of surcharge loading on horseshoe-shaped tunnels excavated in saturated soft rocks显示文摘Underground facilities are usually constructed under existing buildings,or buildings are constructed over existing underground structures.It is then imperative to account for the current overburden loads and future surface loadings in the design of tunnels.In addition,tunnels are often constructed beneath the groundwater level,such as cross-river tunnels.Therefore,it is also important to consider the water pressure impact on the tunnel lining behaviour.Tunnels excavated by a conventional tunnelling method are considered in this paper.The hyperstatic reaction method(HRM)is adopted in this study to investigate the effect of surcharge loading on a horseshoe-shaped tunnel behaviour excavated in saturated soft rocks.The results obtained from the HRM and numerical modelling are in good agreement.Parametric studies were then performed to show the effects of the water pressure,surcharge loading value and its width,and groundwater level on the behaviour of the horseshoe-shaped tunnel lining,in terms of internal forces and displacements.It displays that the bending moment,normal forces and radial displacements are more sensitive to the water pressure,surcharge loading and groundwater level.Dianchun Du Daniel Dias Ngocanh Do 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,6:3

4Fiber-Optic Raman Spectrum Sensor for Fast Diagnosis of Esophageal Cancer显示文摘A fiber-optic Raman spectrum sensor system is used for the fast diagnosis of esophageal cancer during clinical endoscopic examination.The system contains a 785nm exciting laser,a Raman fiber-optic probe with 7 large core fibers and a focus lens,and a highly sensitive spectrum meter.The Raman spectrum of the tissue could be obtained within 1 second by using such a system. 7Oligomicroarray-based primary study of gene expression profile changes in Barrett’s esophagus显示文摘Objective: To analyze the differential expression genes (DEGs) between Barrett’s esophagus (BE) and normal esophagus mucosa and explore the target genes related to the development and progression of BE. Methods: The total RNAs of matched BE and normal esophagus mucosa of BE patients were isolated using one step Trizol method. Matched RNAs were qualified using 10 g/L agarose gel electrophoresis. cRNAs were synthesized, fluorescence labeled and purified after total RNAs were purified. The RNAs of BE and normal esophagus mucosa were hybridized with Agilent oligomicroarray (30 968 probes). The fluorescence intensity features were detected by Agilent scanner and quantified by feature extraction software. Results: (1) The total RNA, reverse transcription product and fluorescence labeled cRNA were all of high quality; (2) There were 142 up-regulated genes and 284 down-regulated genes among 2-fold DEGs. Conclusion: Microarray-based studies are feasible in endoscopically obtained tissues. Many BE-associated genes are screened by the high-throughput gene chip. 8Application Research on Optimization Algorithm of sEMG Gesture Recognition Based on Light CNN+LSTM Model显示文摘The deep learning gesture recognition based on surface electromyography plays an increasingly important role in human-computer interaction.In order to ensure the high accuracy of deep learning in multistate muscle action recognition and ensure that the training model can be applied in the embedded chip with small storage space,this paper presents a feature model construction and optimization method based on multichannel sEMG amplification unit.The feature model is established by using multidimensional sequential sEMG images by combining convolutional neural network and long-term memory network to solve the problem of multistate sEMG signal recognition.The experimental results show that under the same network structure,the sEMG signal with fast Fourier transform and root mean square as feature data processing has a good recognition rate,and the recognition accuracy of complex gestures is 91.40%,with the size of 1MB.The model can still control the artificial hand accurately when the model is small and the precision is high.Dianchun Bai Tie Liu Xinghua Han Hongyu Yi 2021Cyborg and Bionic Systems2021,,1:0

10Acute penetrating injury of the spinal cord by a wooden spike with delayed surgery:a case report显示文摘Rarely,penetrating injuries to the spinal cord result from wooden objects,creating unique challenges to mitigate neurological injury and high rates of infection and foreign body reactions.We report a man who sustained a penetrating cervical spinal cord injury from a sharpened stick.While initially tetraparetic,he rapidly recovered function.The risks of neurological deterioration during surgical removal made the patient reluctant to consent to surgery despite the impalement of the spinal cord.A repeat MRI on day 3 showed an extension of edema indicating progressive inflammation.On the 7~(th)day after injury,fever and paresthesias occurred with a large increase in serum inflammatory indicators,and the patient agreed to undergo surgical removal of the wooden object.We discuss the management nuances related to wood,the longitudinal evolution of MRI findings,infection risk,surgical risk mitigation and technique,an inflammatory marker profile,long-term recovery,and the surprisingly minimal neurological deficits associated with low-velocity midline spinal cord injuries.The patient had an excellent clinical outcome.The main lessons are that a wooden penetrating central nervous system injury has a high risk for infection,and that surgical removal from the spinal cord should be performed soon after injury and under direct visualization.James D.Guest Zhuojing Luo Yansheng Liu Hongkun Gao Dianchun Wang Xiao-Ming Xu Hui Zhu 2023Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,12:0
11Proteomic analysis of down-regulated proteins in colonic mucosa of chronic slow transit constipation rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the alternations of proteins in the colonic mucosa of chronic slow transit constipation(STC) rats with a 2-DE-based proteomic method and analyze the function of these down-regulated proteins so as to provide theoretical basis for the pathogenesis of intestinal mucosa of chronic STC rats.Methods:STC model was established by feeding rats with 8 mg/(kg·d) diphenoxylate for 120 d.An experimental model of chronic STC rat was used for separation of proteomics from colonic mucosa using two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE).Proteins altered in expressional level were identified by Image Master 2DElite,mass spectrometry,and bibliometrics were applied to identify the differential protein expression and their clinical significance and function were analyzed.Results:Obvious differential protein expression was observed in the pathogenesis of STC,including mast cell protease(A1),non-specific dipeptidase(A2) and chondrosome succinate dehydrogenase precursor(A3).The expressions of A1,A2 and A3 were down-regulated in the gel graph of STC rats.Conclusion:The down-regulation of chondrosome succinate dehydrogenase,mast cell protease as well as non-specific dipeptidase in rat colon suggests the functional impairment of the oxidoreduction of mitochondrion is very important in the genesis and development of STC.The immunological reaction of STC rats is weakened,and the function of digesting and absorbing protein may be damaged to some extent.Wang Xingwei Liu Haifeng Xu Mei Chen Gang He Juntang Wang Guo' an TengXiaochun Fang Dianchun 2009Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2009,24,3:0
