| 2 | Top coal caving mining technique in thick coal seam beneath the earth dam显示文摘It is important to study the mining technology under structures for raising the coal resources recovery ratio. Based on the geological and mining conditions, the top coal caving harmonic mining technique in thick coal seam beneath the earth dam was put forward and studied. The 5 factors such as the panel mining direction, panel size, panel location, panel mining sequence and panel advance velocity were taken into account in this technique. The dam movement and deformation were predicted after the thick coal seam mining and the effects of mining on the dam were studied. By setting up the surveying stations on the dam, the movement and deformation of the dam were observed during mining. By taking some protective measures on the dam, the top coal caving mining technique in thick coal seam beneath the earth dam was carried out successfully. The study demonstrates that harmonic mining in thick coal seam is feasible under the dam. | 3 | The role of apparent diffusion coefficient values in characterization of solid focal liver lesions:a prospective and comparative clinical study显示文摘We evaluated and compared the diagnostic accuracy(DA) of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) values with that of lesion-to-liver ADC ratios in the characterization of solid focal liver lesions(FLLs).This prospective study was approved by the Institutional Human Ethics Board,after waiving written informed consent.Diffusion-weighted imaging and other routine magnetic resonance imaging were performed on 142 consecutive patients with suspected liver disease.The mean ADC values and lesion-to-liver ADC ratios were compared between benign and malignant solid FLLs.Receiver operating characteristic analysis was performed.The study participants included 46 patients(28 men,18 women;mean age,52.5 years) with 57 solid FLLs(32 malignant and 25 benign FLLs).The mean ADC values and ADC ratios of benign solid FLLs were significantly higher than those of malignant lesions(P<0.01).The difference between the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the ADC values(0.699) and ADC ratios(0.752) was not significant.Our study suggests that the DA of the ADC ratio is not significantly higher than that of ADC in characterizing solid FLLs. | Dawei Yang Jie Zhang Dan Han Erhu Jin Zhenghan Yang | 2017 | Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,1: | 3 |

| 5 | Roles of endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis signaling pathways in gynecologic tumor cells:A systematic review显示文摘Efficient functioning of the endoplasmic reticulum(ER) is very important for most cellular activities, such as protein folding and modification. The ER closely interacts with other organelles, including the Golgi body, endosome, membrane, and mitochondria, providing lipids and proteins for the repair of these organelles. ER stress can be induced by various abnormal materials in the cell. ER stress is a compensatory intracellular environment disorder that occurs during areaction. ER can sense the stress and respond to it through translational attenuation, upregulation of the genes for ER chaperones and related proteins, and degradation of unfolded proteins by a quality-control system, but excessive ER activation can cause cell death. The Pubmed and Web of Science databases were searched for full-text articles, and the terms 'endoplasmic reticulum stress/unfolded protein response/gynecologic tumor cell apoptosis' were used as key words. Thirty-five studies of ER stress and unfolded protein response published from 2000 to 2016 were analyzed. Stress triggers apoptosis through a variety of signaling pathways. Increasing evidence has shown that the ER plays an important role in tumor cell diseases.
