1CO_2/N_2 separation using supported ionic liquid membranes with green and cost-effective [Choline][Pro]/PEG200 mixtures显示文摘The high price and toxicity of ionic liquids(ILs) have limited the design and application of supported ionic liquid membranes(SILMs) for CO_2 separation in both academic and industrial fields. In this work, [Choline][Pro]/polyethylene glycol 200(PEG200) mixtures were selected to prepare novel SILMs because of their green and costeffective characterization, and the CO_2/N_2 separation with the prepared SILMs was investigated experimentally at temperatures from 308.15 to 343.15 K. The temperature effect on the permeability, solubility and diffusivity of CO_2 was modeled with the Arrhenius equation. A competitive performance of the prepared SILMs was observed with high CO_2 permeability ranged in 343.3–1798.6 barrer and high CO_2/N_2 selectivity from 7.9 to 34.8.It was also found that the CO_2 permeability increased 3 times by decreasing the viscosity of liquids from 370 to38 m Pa·s. 2Optimal power allocation for secure directional modulation networks with a full-duplex UAV user显示文摘This paper makes an investigation of a secure unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-aided communication network based on directional modulation(DM). In this network, ground base station(GBS) acts as a control center to transmit confidential message and artificial noise(AN). The UAV user, moving along a linear flight trajectory, is intended to receive the useful information from GBS. At the same time, it also sends AN signals to further interference eavesdropper’s channel. Aiming at maximizing secrecy rate during the UAV flight process, a joint optimization problem is formulated with respect to power allocation(PA)factors, beamforming vector and AN projection matrices. For simplicity, maximum rate transmission, nullspace projection and the leakage-based method are applied to form the transmit beamforming vector, AN projection matrix at GBS, and AN projection vector at UAV user, respectively. Following this, the optimization problem reduces to a bivariate optimization programme with two PA factors. An alternating iterative algorithm(AIA) is proposed to optimize the two PA factors. 4Initial scalar lithospheric magnetic anomaly map of China and surrounding regions derived from CSES satellite data显示文摘The China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES),China’s first satellite to measure geophysical fields with scientific goals in both space and solid earth physics,was launched successfully in February 2018.It carries high-precision magnetometers to measure the geomagnetic field.In this study,the CSES magnetic data were used to extract the signal of the lithospheric magnetic field caused by magnetized rocks in the crust and uppermost mantle.First,an along-track analysis of the CSES magnetic data was undertaken near the Bangui magnetic anomaly in central Africa and the Tarim magnetic anomaly in China,demonstrating that the CSES magnetic data are indeed sensitive to the lithospheric magnetic anomaly field.Then a lithospheric magnetic anomaly map over China and surrounding regions was derived.This map is consistent with the lithospheric part of the CHAOS-7 model.In particular,it clearly reveals four major magnetic anomalies containing long-wavelength signals at the altitude of lowearth-orbiting satellites.Three magnetic highs are located over the Tarim,Sichuan and Songliao basin,the origins of which could be related to large-scale tectonic-magmatic activities during geological history.A prominent magnetic low is otherwise found in the southern Himalayan-Tibetan plateau,possibly caused by the shallow Curie depth in this region.To further improve the precision of the lithospheric magnetic field model,more detailed data processing and multi-source data merging are needed.WANG Jie SHEN XuHui YANG YanYan ZEREN ZhiMa HULOT Gauthier OLSEN Nils ZHOU Bin MAGNES Werner DE SANTIS Angelo HUANG JianPing GUO Feng LIU WenLong YU JingBo 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5:4
5Flexible mica films for high-temperature energy storage显示文摘Dielectrics used for energy storage are highly desired for power electronics and pulse power applications and the polymer capacitors are the main commercial ones available.The development of flexible electronics and wearable devices require the relative materials being flexible.Besides,high temperature resistance is also desired because of the rising demand for high power devices and large electricity under elevated temperature.The polymer dielectrics for polymer capacitors are flexible but with relatively low working temperature normally less than 100℃.Therefore,fabricating a dielectric material to satisfy the flexibility and high working temperature simultaneously is still a great challenge.Here we propose one solution by demonstrating a hand-exfoliated fluorophlogopite film with micrometer scale thickness.Among which,the mica film with a thickness of around 10μm(Mica-10)exhibits the inorganic-like temperature stability even polymer-like flexibility.From 25℃to 200℃,Mica-10 has an energy density of around 11.27 J/cm^(3)with a variation within 2%,accompanied by a charge-discharge efficiency of around 95%at an electric field of 500 MV/m.Meanwhile,the thin thickness makes Mica-10 flexible,enabling its excellent flexibility and durability.This work revives the traditional material,mica,providing a way for high-temperature energy storage applications.Xinwei Xu Wenlong Liu Yi Li Yifei Wang Qibin Yuan Jie Chen Rong Ma Feng Xiang Hong Wang 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,3:3
6Application of quantum chemical descriptors into quantitative structure-property relationship models for prediction of the photolysis half-life of PCBs in water显示文摘Quantitative structure-property relationship(QSPR)models were developed for prediction of photolysis half-life(t_(1/2))of polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)in water under ultraviolet(UV)radiation.Quantum chemical descriptors computed by the PM3 Hamiltonian software were used as independent variables.The cross-validated Q^(2)_(cum)value for the optimal QSPR model is 0.966,indicating good prediction capability for lg t_(1/2)values of PCBs in water.The QSPR results show that the largest negative atomic charge on a carbon atom(Q-C)and the standard heat of formation(ΔH_(f))have a dominant effect on t_(1/2)values of PCBs.Higher Q_(C)^(-)values or lowerΔHf values of the PCBs leads to higher lg t_(1/2)values.In addition,the lg t_(1/2)values of PCBs increase with the increase in the energy of the highest occupied molecular orbital values.Increasing the largest positive atomic charge on a chlorine atom and the most positive net atomic charge on a hydrogen atom in PCBs leads to the decrease of lg t_(1/2)values.Yueping BAO Qiuying HUANG Wenlong WANG Jiangjie XU Fan JIANG Chenghong FENG 2011Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2011,5,4:2

9Improved Method and Application of EMD Endpoint Continuation Processing for Blasting Vibration Signals显示文摘In order to deal with the non-stationary characteristics of blasting vibration signals and the end issue in the empirical mode decomposition(EMD), an improved endpoint continuation method is proposed. First, the linear continuation method of extreme points is used to determine the extremum of the signal endpoint fast. Secondly, the extreme points of transition section outside the signal ends are obtained by a mirror continuation method of extreme points, and then the envelope and continuation curve of the transition section of the signal are constructed. Lastly, the sinusoid of the stationary section outside the signal is constructed to achieve the continuation curve from the transition section to the stationary section. Based on the 'singular extreme points' phenomenon of blasting vibration signal, the negative maxima and positive minimum are eliminated, then the maximum and minimum are guaranteed to appear at intervals. Thus,the number of iterations is reduced and the instability of EMD decomposition is improved. The calculation formula of amplitude, cycle and initial phase are given for the transition section and stationary section outside the signal. 10Effect of Interfacial Strength on the Flexural Behavior of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer(GFRP) Reinforced Concrete Beam显示文摘The reinforcement/matrix interfacial strength has been considered as the key factor when glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP) bar is mixed with concrete. In this paper, based on micromechanics, fourpoint bending numerical models with and without glass fiber of different interfacial strength have been set up to simulate the damage process of GFRP reinforced concrete beam. The results show that the higher the interfacial strength is, the higher the ultimate bearing capacity of beams, and the less the opening width and height of cracks will be reached. 13NSUN2-mediated mRNA m^(5)C Modification Regulates the Progression of Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘RNA modifications affect many biological processes and physiological diseases.The 5-methylcytosine(m^(5)C)modification regulates the progression of multiple tumors.However,its characteristics and functions in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain largely unknown.Here,we found that HCC tissues had a higher m^(5)C methylation level than the adjacent normal tissues.Transcriptome analysis revealed that the hypermethylated genes mainly participated in the phosphokinase signaling pathways,such as the Ras and PI3K-Akt pathways.The m^(5)C methyltransferase NSUN2 was highly expressed in HCC tissues.Interestingly,the expression of many genes was positively correlated with the expression of NSUN2,including GRB2,RNF115,AATF,ADAM15,RTN3,and HDGF.Real-time PCR assays further revealed that the expression of the mRNAs of GRB2,RNF115,and AATF decreased significantly with the down-regulation of NSUN2 expression in HCC cells.Furthermore,NSUN2 could regulate the cellular sensitivity of HCC cells to sorafenib via modulating the Ras signaling pathway.Moreover,knocking down NSUN2 caused cell cycle arrest.Taken together,our study demonstrates the vital role of NSUN2 in the progression of HCC.Dan Song Ke An Wenlong Zhai Luyao Feng Yingjie Xu Ran Sun Yueqin Wang Yun-Gui Yang Quancheng Kan Xin Tian 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4:1

19A Co-Verification Interface Design for High-Assurance CPS显示文摘Cyber-Physical Systems(CPS)tightly integrate cyber and physical components and transcend traditional control systems and embedded system.Such systems are often mission-critical;therefore,they must be high-assurance.Highassurance CPS require co-verification which takes a comprehensive view of the whole system to verify the correctness of a cyber and physical components together.Lack of strict multiple semantic definition for interaction between the two domains has been considered as an obstacle to the CPS co-verification.A Cyber/Physical interface model for hierarchical a verification of CPS is proposed.First,we studied the interaction mechanism between computation and physical processes.We further classify the interaction mechanism into two levels:logic interaction level and physical interaction level.We define different types of interface model according to combinatorial relationships of the A/D(Analog to Digital)and D/A(Digital to Analog)conversion periodical instants.This interface model has formal semantics,and is efficient for simulation and formal verification.The experiment results show that our approach has major potential in verifying system level properties of complex CPS,therefore improving the high-assurance of CPS.Yu Zhang Mengxing Huang Hao Wang Wenlong Feng Jieren Cheng 2019Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,1:1
20Gully erosion and expansion mechanisms in loess tablelands and the scientific basis of gully consolidation and tableland protection显示文摘Gully erosion is serious in the tableland area of the Loess Plateau due to high-intensity human activities and extreme rainfall, which cause serious soil loss and an increasing tableland shrinkage rate. Severe gully erosion has exerted a notable negative impact on local agriculture, human life and socioeconomic development. In recent decades, progress has been made in soil and water conservation with the goal of reducing soil erosion and protecting loess tableland, but basic research on gully consolidation and tableland protection(GCTP) is lacking, especially regarding the mechanisms of gully erosion and expansion in loess tableland under the interactive impacts of hydrodynamics and human activities. In addition, there is a lack of a deep understanding of the underlying mechanisms of soil-water disasters and controlling factors of unreasonable GCTP projects.Currently, the problems of headcut erosion and tableland fragmentation remain serious. Based on this situation, the Dongzhi tableland, the largest tableland on the Loess Plateau, was adopted as an example, and we studied gully erosion and expansion mechanisms in the loess tableland and the scientific basis of GCTP projects. We obtained a series of novel findings, including the following:(1) vertical joints are widely developed in loess and impose a controlling effect on tableland edge erosion;(2) rapid urbanization and road network expansion intensify headcut erosion and are the main reasons for severe erosion and tableland shrinkage in the Dongzhi tableland;and(3) unreasonable drainage of surface runoff and a rise in the groundwater level are the key factors affecting GCTP project stability. Moreover, the mechanisms and modes of erosion disasters in the project driven by these two factors were explained. The systematic remediation idea of retention, storage, drainage and consolidation for the GCTP project was introduced, and the core is water control, which emphasizes the combination of soil and water conservation and geohazard prevention measures.
