2Improved dielectric and electro-optical parameters of nematic liquid crystal doped with magnetic nanoparticles显示文摘This study investigates the effect of magnetic nanoparticles(NPs) on the weakly polar nematic liquid crystal(NLC).Different parameters of dielectric data were measured for both the homeotropic and planar aligned samples as a function of frequency and temperature and the substantial changes have been noticed for the doped systems. Dielectric permittivity has been increased after the dispersion of magnetic NPs in the pure NLC. Dielectric anisotropy has also been influenced by incorporating the magnetic NPs with the NLC molecules. These results were attributed to the dipole–dipole interaction between the magnetic nanoparticles and nematic liquid crystal molecules. Electro-optical study indicated the faster rise time and fall time of the doped systems as compare to pure NLC. Threshold voltage has been calculated and found to be decreased for the doped systems. Moreover, we have also calculated the rotational viscosity and the splay elastic constant for pure and the doped systems. Both the rotational viscosity and splay elastic constant of the doped systems are found to be considerably lower than those of pure NLC. Change in these properties has been explained on the basis of molecular disturbances created by the interaction between the magnetic nanoparticle and LC director. 11The effects of disturbance on forest structure and diversity at different altitudes in Garhwal Himalaya显示文摘The effects of disturbance on forest structure and diversity along an altitudinal gradient in the temperate,sub-tropical,and tropical regions of Garhwal Himalaya were assessed.Each region was further categorized into undisturbed(UD),mildly disturbed(MD),and highly disturbed(HD)sites on the basis of magnitude of disturbance in these forests.On UD sites of temperate,sub-tropical and tropical regions,Quercus leucotrichophora,Anogeissus latifolia and Holoptelea integrifolia were the dominant tree species respectively.The highest values of tree density(1028 ind·hm-2)and total basal cover at breast height(31.70 m2 ·hm-2)were recorded for UD site of temperate region,whereas maximum species diversity(3.128)and equitability(14.09)values were observed for HD site of tropical region.The structure and composition of the forests were greatly affected by the degree of disturbance.Munesh KUMAR Chandra Mohan SHARMA Govind Singh RA JWAR 2009生态学杂志2009,28,3:0
12Associated risk factors for post-COVID-19 mucormycosis at a tertiary care centre: A cross-sectional study显示文摘Objective:To explore risk factors of mucormycosis in COVID-19 recovered patients.Methods:A total of 101 patients,who were diagnosed with mucormycosis after recovery from COVID-19 and admitted to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences,Patna,a tertiary care hospital in India,were included in the study.The presenting clinical features and associated risk factors were assessed and analyzed subsequently.Results:Of 101,68(67.3%)were males,and 33(32.7%)were females.A total of 89(88.1%)patients were between 46 and 65 years old.The most common subtypes were rhino-ocular(61.4%),followed by paranasal sinuses(16.8%),rhino-ocular cerebral(16.8%),ocular(3.0%),and pulmonary(2.0%).Diabetes mellitus was present in 71% of cases of mucormycosis as co-morbidities.A total of 76.2% of patients were given systemic corticosteroids in oral or intravenous form during COVID-19 treatment.Severe COVID-19 was present in 45.5% of patients with mucormycosis,while the moderate infection was present in 35.6% of mucormycosis.Most patients had gap between the onset of mucormycosis and COVID-19<15 d.Conclusions:A lethal confluence of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus,corticosteroid usage,and COVID-19 could cause a dramatic rise in mucormycosis.So,clinicians must be aware of these risk factors in patients suffering as well as recovering from COVID-19 to prevent mucormycosis.Praphull Deepankar Govind Kumar Jyoti Kr Dinkar Rishav Mittal 2022Journal of Acute Disease2022,11,4:0
13肠结核与克罗恩病差异表达基因的全基因分析及FOXP3 mRNA表达的鉴别价值显示文摘背景:克罗恩病(CD)和肠结核(ITB)是有着相似表型的慢性肉芽肿性疾病,因此,找到一种生物标志物来鉴别这两种疾病是必要的。本研究旨在对ITB和CD的结肠标本进行全基因表达分析。同时,为了评价调节性T细胞的作用,我们对血清标本及结肠标本进行FOXP3 mRNA定量检测。方法:收集33名研究对象(CD患者、ITB患者及正常对照)血清和结肠组织配对样本,提取标本中的总RNA。采用Illumina HumanWG-6 BeadChip试剂盒对3组研究对象中的6种总RNA样本进行人类全基因组表达芯片分析。采用real-time PCR对具有合格RNA样本的病例(CD 4例,ITB 5例,正常对照4例)血清和组织标本进行FOXP3 mRNA表达水平检测。结果:在CD和ITB患者中,分别有92和382个基因表达上调1.5倍,91和256个基因表达下调1.5倍。过氧化物酶体增殖物介导的PPARγ信号通路在CD中下调最为显著(P<0.005);此外,IL4/5/6信号通路和Toll样受体信号通路也存在显著差异表达,上调2倍以上。而在ITB患者上调最为显著是补体活化通路尤其是经典通路。ITB患者结肠组织标本中FOXP3 mRNA表达水平明显高于CD患者(4.7062.21 vs 1.4860.31,P=0.016)。结论:结肠黏膜FOXP3 mRNA表达可作为鉴别ITB与CD的一项标志物。ITB患者补体激活通路的上调提示ITB的发病机制与肺结核相似。CD患者中PPARγ通路的下调提示PPARγ依赖的微生物屏障功能可能成为新的治疗靶点。Vineet Ahuja Swati Subodh Amit Tuteja Veena Mishra Sushil Kumar Garg Neha Gupta Govind Makharia SK Acharya 2016Gastroenterology Report2016,4,1:0
14Validation of Vesical Imaging Reporting and Data System score for the diagnosis of muscle-invasive bladder cancer: A prospective cross-sectional study显示文摘Objective:Vesical Imaging Reporting and Data System(VIRADS)score was developed to standardize the reporting and staging of bladder tumors on pre-operative multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging.It helps in avoiding unnecessary repeat transurethral resection of bladder tumor in high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer patients.This study was done to determine the validity of VIRADS score prospectively for the diagnosis of muscleinvasive bladder cancer.Methods:This study was conducted from March 2019 to March 2020 at Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital,Jaipur,Rajasthan,India.Patients admitted with the provisional diagnosis of bladder tumor were included as participants.All these patients underwent a 3 Tesla mpMRI to obtain a VIRADS score before they underwent transurethral resection of bladder tumor and these data were analyzed to evaluate the correlation of pre-operative VIRADS score with mus-cle invasiveness of the tumor in final biopsy report.Results:A cut-off of VIRADS≥4 for prediction of detrusor muscle invasion yielded a sensitivity of 79.4%,specificity of 94.2%,positive predictive value of 90.0%,negative predictive value of 87.5%,and diagnostic accuracy of 86.4%.A cut off of VIRADS≥3 for prediction of detrusor muscle invasion yielded a sensitivity of 91.2%,specificity of 78.8%,positive predictive value of 73.8%,negative predictive value of 93.2%,and accuracy of 83.7%.The receiver operating curve showed the area under the curve to be 0.922(95%confidence interval:0.862e0.983).Conclusion:VIRADS score appears to be an excellent and effective pre-operative radiological tool for the prediction of detrusor muscle invasion in bladder cancer.Kumawat Ghanshyam Vyas Nachiket Sharma Govind Priyadarshi Shivam Gupta Bhagwan Sahay Singla Mohit Kumar Ashok 2022Asian Journal of Urology2022,9,4:0
15Adaptive sensitive frequency band selection for VMD to identify defective components of an axial piston pump显示文摘The underlying study investigates single valued neutrosophic entropy based adaptive sensitive frequency band selection for variational mode decomposition(VMD)for the purpose of identifying defective components in an axial pump.The proposed methodology is applied in the following steps.First,VMD is applied for decomposing vibration signals into various frequency bands,called as modes.After computing energy of each VMD,the lower(minimum)and upper(maximum)bounds from these energy readings are extracted for defect conditions,such as outer race,inner race,worn piston,faulty cylinder and valve plate,and blocked hole of the piston.Thereafter,energy interval ranges are obtained and further converted into the form of single valued neutrosophic sets(SVNSs).Then,the proposed neutrosophic entropy measure is deployed for quantifying the non-linear connection between each bearing defect conditions and various frequency bands.The mode having maximum neutrosophic entropy value is designated to the“most sensitive”frequency band.Thereafter,envelope demodulation is applied to the most sensitive selected frequency band for finding defective components.The proposed neutrosophic entropy and VMD based methodology is effective in providing a better insight for selecting suitable frequency band for carrying out envelope demodulation in comparison to existing methods.Anil KUMAR C.P.GANDHI Hesheng TANG Govind VASHISHTHA Rajesh KUMAR Yuqing ZHOU Jiawei XIANG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1:0
