| 1 | Effects of dietary protein/energy ratio on growth performance,carcass trait,meat quality,and plasma metabolites in pigs of different genotypes显示文摘Background:The protein/energy ratio is important for the production performance and utilization of available feed resources by animals.Increased protein consumption by mammals leads to elevated feed costs and increased nitrogen release into the environment.This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary protein/energy ratio on the growth performance,carcass traits,meat quality,and plasma metabolites of pigs of different genotypes.Methods:Bama mini-pigs and Landrace pigs were randomly assigned to two dietary treatment groups(Chinese conventional diet with low protein/energy ratio or National Research Council diet with high protein/energy ratio;n = 24 per treatment) in a 2x2 factorial arrangement.Blood and muscle samples were collected at the end of the nursery,growing,and finishing phases.Results:We observed significant interactions(P< 0.05) between breed and diet for total fat percentage,intramuscular fat(IMF) content,protein content in biceps femoris(BF) muscle,and plasma urea nitrogen(UN) concentration in the nursery phase;for average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake(ADFI),dry matter,IMF content in psoas major(PM) muscle,and plasma total protein and albumin concentrations in the growing phase;and for drip loss and plasma UN concentration in the finishing phase.Breed influenced(P < 0.05) growth performance,carcass traits,and meat quality,but not plasma metabolites.Throughout the trial,Landrace pigs showed significantly higher(P < 0.05) ADG,ADFI,dressing percentage,lean mass rate,and loin-eye area than did Bama mini-pigs,but significantly lower(P< 0.05)feed/gain ratio,fat percentage,backfat thickness,and IMF content.Dietary protein/energy ratio influenced the pH value,chemical composition of BF and PM muscles,and plasma activities of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase,and plasma concentration of UN.Conclusions:Compared with Landrace pigs,Bama mini-pigs showed slower growth and lower carcass performance,but had better meat quality.Moreover,unlike Landrace pigs,the dietary protein/energy ratio did not affect the growth performance of Bama mini-pigs.These results suggest that,in swine production,low dietary protein/energy ratio may be useful for reducing feed costs and minimizing the adverse effects of ammonia release into the environment. | Yingying Liu Xiangfeng Kong Guoli Jiang Bi'e Tan Jinping Deng Xiaojian Yang Fengna Li Xia Xiong Yulong Yin | 2015 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4: | 37 |
| 2 | Effects of process parameters on pore structure of semi-coke prepared by solid heat carrier with dry distillation显示文摘The semi-coke was prepared by solid heat carrier with dry distillation in single factor method. The pore structures of raw coal and semi-coke were characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the adsorption and desorption isotherm of semi-coke are not coincident. There was a wide pore distribution on the semi-coke, in which mesopores and micropores account for a considerable proportion. Also there are many more secondary pores. With the increase of the final temperature of heat carrier and constant temperature, as well as the decrease of volume ratio of coal and hot carrier reactor, specific surface area and pore volume of semi-coke increased rapidly first and then decreased and finally increased, along with the rapidly reduction of average pore size. | 3 | Relationship between electrochemical characteristics and SCC of X70 pipeline steel in an acidic soil simulated solution显示文摘Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of X70 pipeline steel in simulated solution of the acidic soil in Yingtan in China was investigated using slow strain rate test (SSRT), SEM and potentiodynamic polarization technique. Experiment results indicate that X70 steel is highly susceptible to SCC as applied potential reduces, which is manifested in loss of toughness and brittle fracture. Constant polarization current can detect the occurrence of SCC. The lower the polarization current is the sooner stress corrosion cracking occurs. The SCC mechanisms are different at varying potentials. When potential is higher than open circuit potential, anodic process controls SCC, whereas when potential is far lower than open circuit potential, cathodic process controls SCC, and between these two potential regions, a combined electrochemical process controls the SCC. | 5 | Tectonic evolution of the Dabashan orocline, central China: Insights from the superposed folds in the eastern Dabashan foreland显示文摘The Dabashan orocline is situated in the northwestern margin of the central Yangtze block,central China.Previous studies have defned the orthogonal superposed folds growing in its central-western segment thereby confrming its two-stage tectonic evolution history.Geological mapping has revealed that more types of superposed folds have developed in the eastern segment of the orocline,which probably provides more clues for probing the structure and tectonic history of the Dabashan orocline.In this paper,based on geological mapping,structural measurements and analyses of deformation,we have identifed three groups of folds with different trends(e.g.NW-,NE-and nearly E-trending folds)and three types of structural patterns of superposed folds in the eastern Dabashan foreland(e.g.syn-axial,oblique,and conjunctional superposed folds).In combination with geochronological data,we propose that the synaxial superposed folds are due to two stages of wNeS shortening in the west and north of the Shennongjia massif,and that oblique superposed folds have been resulted from the superposition of the NW-and NE-trending folds onto the early ~E-W folds in the east of the Shennongjia massif in the late Jurassic to early Cretaceous.The conjunctional folds are composed of the NW-and NE-trending folds,corresponding to the regional-scale dual-orocline in the eastern Sichuan as a result of the southwestward expansion of the Dabashan foreland during late Jurassic to early Cretaceous,coeval with the northwestward propagation of the Xuefengshan foreland.Integration of the structure and geochronology of the belt shows that the Dabashan orocline is a combined deformation belt primarily experiencing a twostage tectonic evolution history in Mesozoic,initiation of the Dabashan orocline as a foreland basin along the front of the Qinling orogen in late Triassic to early Jurassic due to collisional orogeny,and the fnal formation of the Dabashan orocline owing to the southwestward propagation of the Qinling orogen during late Jurassic to early Cretaceous intra-continental orogeny.Our studies provide some evidences for understanding the structure and deformation of the Dabashan orocline. | Wei Shi Jianhua Li Mi Tian Guoli Wu | 2013 | Geoscience Frontiers2013,4,6: | 12 |
| 6 | Effect of deteriorated microstructures on stress corrosion cracking of X70 pipeline steel in acidic soil environment显示文摘In order to investigate stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of X70 pipeline steel and its weld joint area in acidic soil environ-ment in China, two simulating methods were used: one was to obtain bad microstructures in heat affected zone by annealing at 1300°C for 10 min and then, quenching in water; the other was to get different simulating solutions of acidic soil in Yingtan in south-east China. The SCC susceptibilities of X70 pipeline steel before and after quenching in the simulating solutions were analyzed using slow stain rate test (SSRT) and potentiodynamic polarization technique to investigate the SCC electrochemical mechanism of differ-ent microstructures further. The results show that SCC appears in the original microstructure and the quenched microstructure as the polarization potential decreases. Hydrogen revolution accelerates SCC of the two tested materials within the range of -850 mV to -1200 mV vs. SCE. Microstructural hardening and grain coarsening also increase SCC. | 7 | Formation of the Moping Dome in the Xuefengshan Orocline, Central China and its Tectonic Significance显示文摘Many equiaxial dome-like structures developed in the north segment of the Xuefengshan orocline, Central China are obviously inconcordant with the NE-trending linear structures in this area, which contain important records for understanding the structural framework and evolution of this belt. In this paper, taking one of the typical dome-like structures in the Xuefengshan orcline (e.g. Moping dome-like structure) as an example, based on its structural framework interpratatoin, superposed deformation analysis and paleo-stress fields reconstruction, we propose the Moping dome-like structure is composed of two populations of different-striking thrust-fold structures, ~E-trending and NE-striking structures, indicative of two-stages shortening, ~N- and NW-striking, respectively. Together with the geochronological analysis, we suggest the first stage of shortening occurred in Late Triassic to Early Jurassic, due to the Indosinian intercollisional orogeny of the Yangtze Block and the North China Block. The second occurred during Late Jurassic Early Cretaceous owing to Yanshanian intracontinental orogeny, leading to the intensive superposition of the NE-trending structures onto the ~E-trending structures, and the final ocurrence of the Moping dome. | 11 | Immunodiagnostic efficacy of detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections in China:a meta analysis显示文摘Objective:To assess the diagnostic efficacy of the currently most widely used indirect hemagglutination assay(IHA) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) for detection of Schistosoma japonicum human infections.Methods:A comprehensive search was undertaken from China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database.VIP Database,PubMed. Cochrane Library,Science Citation Index Expanded.Proquest,and the inclusion and exclusion criteria were strictly settled.The funnel plot was used to assess the publication bias.Cochran’s Q test was employed to measure the homogeneity between studies,a summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC) curve was used to compare the diagnostic accuracy between the IHA and ELISA qualitatively by means of the Weighted Least Square method,the Ordinary Least Square method and the Robust regression method,and the diagnostic odds ratio(DOR) was drawn to compare the accuracy quantitatively.Results:Out of 785 publications,19 papers were eventually selected for analysis.Literature finality assessment indicated that minor publication bias existed in studies pertaining IHA test,but no bias was found in literatures regarding ELISA test.The heterogeneity test showed a heterogeneity between studies was present(χ~2 =466.07 and 34.67. both P values<0.0001).The areas under the SROC curves of IHA were all higher than that of ELISA test using the three methods(Weighted Least Square method:0.766 vs.0.695.Ordinary Least Square method:0.826 vs.0.741.Robust regression:0.815 vs.0.715).The TPR* values for IHA and EUSA were 0.710.0.759.0.749.and 0.650.0.686 and 0.666.respectively,and OR values were 5.997.9.937.8.893.and 3.432.4.784 and 3.959.respectively.The DOR of IHA was 9.41(95% CI:4.88-18.18).and 4.78(95%CI:3.21-7.13) for ELISA.Conclusions:All above results revealed that the diagnostic performance of IHA is better than that of ELISA.However,taking into account their unsatisfactory diagnostic value in areas with low infection intensity,a search for a better diagnostic test that can be applied in field situations in China should be given high priority. | Wei Wang Youzi Li Hongjun Li Yuntian Xing Guoli Qu Jianrong Dai Yousheng Liang | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012,5,1: | 4 |

| 13 | Biogenic C-doped titania templated by cyanobacteria for visible-light photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B显示文摘Cyanobacteria, which occurred in eutrophic water harvest solar light to carry out photosynthesis with high efficiency. In this work, cyanobacteria(Microcystis sp.) were used as biotemplate to synthesize titania structure. The synthesized titania sample had similar morphology to that of the original template in spite of the fragile unicellular structures and extremely high water content of cyanobacterial cells. Incorporation of biogenic C, as well as the morphology inherited from biotemplate improved visiblelight absorbance of the titania structure. The sample exhibited higher visible-light photocatalytic activity than commercial titania photocatalyst Degussa P25 for Rhodamine B(RhB) degradation. Compared with those C-doped titania photocatalysts prepared by other methods, cyanobacteria templated titania photocatalyst offer some potential for competitive advantages. The reported strategy opened up a new use for the cyanobacteria. | 18 | Progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study显示文摘In this paper,we give a review of our theoretical and experimental progress in octahedral spherical hohlraum study.From our theoretical study,the octahedral spherical hohlraums with 6 Laser Entrance Holes(LEHs)of octahedral symmetry have robust high symmetry during the capsule implosion at hohlraum-to-capsule radius ratio larger than 3.7.In addition,the octahedral spherical hohlraums also have potential superiority on low backscattering without supplementary technology.We studied the laser arrangement and constraints of the octahedral spherical hohlraums,and gave a design on the laser arrangement for ignition octahedral hohlraums.As a result,the injection angle of laser beams of 50°-60°was proposed as the optimum candidate range for the octahedral spherical hohlraums.We proposed a novel octahedral spherical hohlraum with cylindrical LEHs and LEH shields,in order to increase the laser coupling efficiency and improve the capsule symmetry and to mitigate the influence of the wall blowoff on laser transport.We studied on the sensitivity of the octahedral spherical hohlraums to random errors and compared the sensitivity among the octahedral spherical hohlraums,the rugby hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums,and the results show that the octahedral spherical hohlraums are robust to these random errors while the cylindrical hohlraums are the most sensitive.Up till to now,we have carried out three experiments on the spherical hohlraum with 2 LEHs on Shenguang(SG)laser facilities,including demonstration of improving laser transport by using the cylindrical LEHs in the spherical hohlraums,spherical hohlraum energetics on the SGIII prototype laser facility,and comparisons of laser plasma instabilities between the spherical hohlraums and the cylindrical hohlraums on the SGIII laser facility. | Ke Lan Jie Liu Zhichao Li Xufei Xie Wenyi Huo Yaohua Chen Guoli Ren Chunyang Zheng Dong Yang Sanwei Li Zhiwen Yang Liang Guo Shu Li Mingyu Zhang Xiaoying Han Chuanlei Zhai Lifei Hou Yukun Li Keli Deng Zheng Yuan Xiayu Zhan Feng Wang Guanghui Yuan Haijun Zhang Bobin Jiang Lizhen Huang Wei Zhang Kai Du Runchang Zhao Ping Li Wei Wang Jingqin Su Xuewei Deng Dongxia Hu Wei Zhou Huaiting Jia Yongkun Ding Wanguo Zheng Xiantu He | 2016 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,1: | 2 |
| 19 | SCC of X70 and Its Deteriorated Microstructure in Simulated Acid Soil Environment显示文摘In order to study the stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of X70 pipeline steel and its weld joint in acid soil environment of southeast of China, two simulating methods were used here. The one was to obtain the bad microstructures in heat affected zone by annealing at 1300°C for 10 min and air cooling to room temperature, the other was to get a series of simulating solutions of the acid soil environment. SCC susceptibilities of X70 pipeline steels before and after being normalized in the simulated solutions were studied by slow strain rate test (SSRT) and microstructural observation of fracture areas. Potentiodynamic polarization curves were used to study the electrochemical behaviour of different microstructures. SCC does occur to both the as-received material and normalized microstructure after heat treatment as the polarization potential decreased. Hydrogen embrittlement (HE) is indicated occurring to all tested materials at -850 mV (vs SCE) and -1200 mV(vs SCE). The SCC mechanisms are different within varying potential range. | 20 | AFP2 Coordinates the Activity of PIF7 for Thermomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis Seedlings显示文摘Ambient temperature induces the hypocotyl elongation of seedling,called as thermomorphogenesis.It has been reported that the bHLH transcriptional factor PIF7 acts as the critical component to modulate plant thermomorphogenesis,but the underlying mechanism remains elusive.The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)suppresses the hypocotyl elongation under high temperature(HT)stress.As the ABI5 binding protein,AFP2 acts as the negative factor to control ABA signaling.In this study,we first identified AFP2 as the interaction protein of PIF7 in vitro and in vivo.Phenotype analysis revealed that overexpressing AFP2 reduced the hypocotyl elongation,while loss-of-function afp2 mutant showed longer hypocotyl under HT.Consistently,overexpressing AFP2 impaired the transactivation effect of PIF7 on auxin biosynthesis related genes YUC8 and IAA19,which possibly resulted into the shorter hypocotyl in the transgenic line overexpressing AFP2 or co-overexpressing AFP2 and PIF7.Thus,these data suggest that AFP2 suppressed PIF7 activity to suppress hypocotyl elongation.Furthermore,we found that HT gradually induced the degradation of AFP2 that possibly released the inhibitory effect of AFP2 on PIF7,thus induced hypocotyl elongation under HT.Taken together,our result reveals the novel function of AFP2 in coordinating thermomorphogenesis through sophistically modulating PIF7 activity. | Guoli Deng Songbei Ying Sasa Jing Jun Zhou Shiyan Lu Ping Li | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,4: | 2 |
