| 1 | Identification of an HLA-A~* 0201-restricted CD8^+ T-cell epitope SSp-1 of SARS-CoV spike protein显示文摘A novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SA RS)-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV), has been identified as the causal agent of SARS. Spike (S) protein is a major structural glycoprotein of the SARS virus and a potential target for SARS-specific cell-mediated immune responses. A pa nel of S protein-derived peptides was tested for their binding affinity to HLA -A *0201 molecules. Peptides with high affinity for HLA-A *0201 were then as se ssed for their capacity to elicit specific immune responses mediated by cytotoxi c T lymphocytes (CTLs) both in vivo, in HLA-A2.1/K b transgenic mice, a nd in vitro, from peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) harvested from healthy HLA-A 2.1 + donors. SARS-CoV protein-derived peptide-1 (SSp-1 RLNEVAKNL), induced pepti de-specific CTLs both in vivo (transgenic mice) and in vitro (human PBL s), which specifically released interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) upon stimulation with SSp-1-pulsed autologous dendritic cells (DCs) or T2 cells. SSp-1-specif ic CTLs also lysed major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-matched tumor cell lines engineered to express S proteins. HLA-A *0201-SSp-1 tetramer staining re vealed the presence of significant populations of SSp-1-specific CTLs in SSp- 1-induced CD8 + T cells. | 2 | Providing personalized converged services based on flexible network reconfiguration显示文摘Recent developments show a progressing convergence of networks, services, and applications, which results in the necessity for new approaches to provide a ubiquitous experience on converged networks for specialized high data-rate services. A fundamental diversifying attribute for the future physical network convergence paradigm is pressing. In this paper, we make researches on converged resource reconfiguration model of substrate physical network based on hardware virtualization and provide a service oriented network architecture as a network convergence primitive. Based on the idea of hardware virtualization which is performed by platform deformation and component processing with reconfiguration (here, they are realized as reconfigurable routers (RR)), the substrate converged network, which inter-connects various access networks by reconfigurable routers, could be mapped into multiplex service oriented logical networks, supports dynamic reconfiguration due to diversified quality of services under heterogeneous environment, and therefore provides more flexible and high- speed multiple services. In addition, to demonstrate the generality of our model, we provide a prototype of reconfigurable router. The design, implementation and task scheduling as well as both hardware and software reconfiguration process of reconfigurable router are discussed in detail. Accordingly, international standard organizations, operators, and equipment manufacturers are focusing extensively on 5 G security technology. This paper analyzes the security requirements of 5 G business applications, network architecture, the air interface, and user privacy. The development trends of5 G security architecture are summarized, with a focus on endogenous defense architecture, which represents a new trend in 5 G security development. | 7 | Dynamic changes in soil chemical properties and microbial community structure in response to different nitrogen fertilizers in an acidified celery soil显示文摘To determine the effects of different kinds of nitrogen fertilizer,especially high-efficiency slowrelease fertilizers,on soil pH,nitrogen(N)and microbial community structures in an acidic celery soil,four treatments(CK,no N fertilizer;NR,urea;PE,calcium cyanamide fertilizer;and SK,controlled-release N fertilizer)were applied,and soil pH,total soil N,inorganic N,and soil microbial biomass C were analyzed.Phospholipid fatty acids(PLFAs)were extracted and detected using the MIDI Sherlock microbial identification system.The PE treatment significantly improved soil pH,from 4.80 to>6.00,during the whole growth period of the celery,and resulted in the highest celery yield among the four treatments.After 14 d application of calcium cyanamide,the soil nitrate content significantly decreased,but the ammonium content significantly increased.The PE treatment also significantly increased soil microbial biomass C during the whole celery growth period.Canonical variate analysis of the PLFA data indicated that the soil microbial community structure in the CK treatment was significantly different from those in the N applied treatments after 49 d fertilization.However,there was a significant difference(P<0.05)in soil microbial community structure between the PE treatment and the other three treatments at the end of the experiment.Calcium cyanamide is a good choice for farmers to use on acidic celery land because it supplies sufficient N,and increases soil pH,microbial biomass and the yield of celery. | Yuping Wu Jiangxing Wu Yongjun Ma Ying Lian Hui Sun Danchao Xie Yaying Li Philip C.Brookes Huaiying Yao | 2019 | Soil Ecology Letters2019,1,3: | 7 |

| 9 | EARS: Intelligence-Driven Experiential Network Architecture for Automatic Routing in Software-Defined Networking显示文摘Software-Defined Networking(SDN)adapts logically-centralized control by decoupling control plane from data plane and provides the efficient use of network resources.However,due to the limitation of traditional routing strategies relying on manual configuration,SDN may suffer from link congestion and inefficient bandwidth allocation among flows,which could degrade network performance significantly.In this paper,we propose EARS,an intelligence-driven experiential network architecture for automatic routing.EARS adapts deep reinforcement learning(DRL)to simulate the human methods of learning experiential knowledge,employs the closed-loop network control mechanism incorporating with network monitoring technologies to realize the interaction with network environment.The proposed EARS can learn to make better control decision from its own experience by interacting with network environment and optimize the network intelligently by adjusting services and resources offered based on network requirements and environmental conditions.Under the network architecture,we design the network utility function with throughput and delay awareness,differentiate flows based on their size characteristics,and design a DDPGbased automatic routing algorithm as DRL decision brain to find the near-optimal paths for mice and elephant flows.To validate the network architecture,we implement it on a real network environment.Extensive simulation results show that EARS significantly improve the network throughput and reduces the average packet delay in comparison with baseline schemes(e.g.OSPF,ECMP). | Yuxiang Hu Ziyong Li Julong Lan Jiangxing Wu Lan Yao | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,2: | 4 |
| 10 | An Aware-Scheduling Security Architecture with Priority-Equal Multi-Controller for SDN显示文摘Current SDN controllers suffer from a series of potential attacks. For example, malicious flow rules may lead to system disorder by introducing unexpected flow entries. In this paper, we propose Mcad-SA, an aware decision-making security architecture with multiple controllers, which could coordinate heterogeneous controllers internally as a 'big' controller. This architecture includes an additional plane, the scheduling plane, which consists of transponder, sensor, decider and scheduler. Meanwhile it achieves the functions of communicating, supervising and scheduling between data and control plane. In this framework, we adopt the vote results from the majority of controllers to determine valid flow rules distributed to switches. Besides, an aware dynamic scheduling(ADS) mechanism is devised in scheduler to intensify security of Mcad-SA further. Combined with perception, ADS takes advantage of heterogeneity and redundancy of controllers to enable the control plane operate in a dynamic, reliable and unsteady state, which results in significant difficulty of probing systems and executing attacks. | 19 | Defining honeybee subspecies in an evolutionary context warrants strategized conservation显示文摘Despite the urgent need for conservation consideration,strategic action plans for the preservation of the Asian honeybee,Apis cerana Fabricius,1793,remain lacking.Both the convergent and divergent adaptations of this widespread insect have led to confusing phenotypical traits and inconsistent infraspecific taxonomy.Unclear subspecies boundaries pose a significant challenge to honeybee conservation efforts,as it is difficult to effectively prioritize conservation targets without a clear understanding of subspecies identities.Here,we investigated genome variations in 362 worker bees representing almost all populations of mainland A.cerana to understand how evolution has shaped its population structure.Whole-genome single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)based on nuclear sequences revealed eight putative subspecies,with all seven peripheral subspecies exhibiting mutually exclusive monophyly and distinct genetic divergence from the widespread central subspecies.Our results demonstrated that most classic morphological traits,including body size,were related to the climatic variables of the local habitats and did not reflect the true evolutionary history of the organism.Thus,such morphological traits were not suitable for subspecific delineation.Conversely,wing vein characters showed relative independence to the environment and supported the subspecies boundaries inferred from nuclear genomes.Mitochondrial phylogeny further indicated that the present subspecies structure was a result of multiple waves of population divergence from a common ancestor.Based on our findings,we propose that criteria for subspecies delineation should be based on evolutionary independence,trait distinction,and geographic isolation.We formally defined and described eight subspecies of mainland A.cerana.Elucidation of the evolutionary history and subspecies boundaries enables a customized conservation strategy for both widespread and endemic honeybee conservation units,guiding colony introduction and breeding. | Lifei Qiu Jiangxing Dong Xingan Li Sajad HParey Ken Tan Michael Orr Aquib Majeed Xue Zhang Shiqi Luo Xuguo Zhou Chaodong Zhu Ting Ji Qingsheng Niu Shanlin Liu Xin Zhou | 2023 | Zoological Research2023,44,3: | 1 |
