2An engineered lamellar bone mimicking full-scale hierarchical architecture for bone regeneration显示文摘Lamellar bone,compactly and ingeniously organized in the hierarchical pattern with 6 ordered scales,is the structural motif of mature bone.Each hierarchical scale exerts an essential role in determining physiological behavior and osteogenic bioactivity of bone.Engineering lamellar bone with full-scale hierarchy remains a longstanding challenge.Herein,using bioskiving and mineralization,we attempt to engineer compact constructs resembling full-scale hierarchy of lamellar bone.Through systematically investigating the effect of mineralization on physicochemical properties and bioactivities of multi-sheeted collagen matrix fabricated by bioskiving,the hierarchical mimicry and hierarchy-property relationship are elucidated.With prolongation of mineralization,hierarchical mimicry and osteogenic bioactivity of constructs are performed in a bidirectional manner,i.e.first rising and then descending,which is supposed to be related with transformation of mineralization mechanism from nonclassical to classical crystallization.Construct mineralized 9 days can accurately mimic each hierarchical scale and efficiently promote osteogenesis.Bioinformatic analysis further reveals that this construct potently activates integrinα5-PI3K/AKT signaling pathway through mechanical and biophysical cues,and thereby repairing critical-sized bone defect.The present study provides a bioinspired strategy for completely resembling complex hierarchy of compact mineralized tissue,and offers a critical research model for in-depth studying the structure-function relationship of bone.Tao Yang Zhichao Hao Zhenzhen Wu Binxin Xu Jiangchen Liu Le Fan Qinmei Wang Yanshan Li Dongying Li Sangzhu Tang Chuanzi Liu Weichang Li Wei Teng 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,9:1

4A multi-dimensional robust optimization approach for cold-chain emergency medical materials dispatch under COVID-19: A case study of Hubei Province显示文摘For the optimization problem of the cold-chain emergency materials(CEM) distribution routes with multi-demand centers and soft time windows and to solve dispatching materials to medical treatment institutions in various places of the disaster areas under COVID-19, a multi-dimensional robust optimization(MRO) model was proposed, which was solved by a hybrid algorithm combined Pareto genetic algorithm and the improved grey relative analysis(IGRA). The proposed model comprehensively takes into consideration of the cost factors of the cold-chain logistics and robustness of solution with the purpose of minimizing the costs and maximizing robustness. The availability of the proposed approach and hybrid algorithm were thoroughly discussed and qualified through a real-world numerical simulation test case, which was a previous risk area located at Hubei Province. Research results show an average-cost reduction of 4.51% and a robustness increment of 11.69% in addition to consider the urgencies of demand. Consequently, not only the costs can be slightly reduced and the robustness be heightened, but also the blindness of the distribution can be avoided effectively with the demand urgency being considered. 5Adaptive signal control and coordination for urban traffic control in a connected vehicle environment: A review显示文摘Existing signal control systems for urban traffic are usually based on traffic flow data from fixed location detectors.Because of rapid advances in emerging vehicular communication,connected vehicle(CV)-based signal control demonstrates significant improvements over existing conventional signal control systems.Though various CV-based signal control systems have been investigated in the past decades,these approaches still have many issues and drawbacks to overcome.We summarize typical components and structures of these existing CV-based urban traffic signal control systems and digest several important issues from the summarized vital concepts.Last,future research directions are discussed with some suggestions.We hope this survey can facilitate the connected and automated vehicle and transportation research community to efficiently approach next-generation urban traffic signal control methods and systems.Jiangchen Li Liqun Peng Kaizhe Hou Yong Tian Yulin Ma Shucai Xu Tony Z.Qiu 2023Digital Transportation and Safety2023,2,2:0
