1Allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy exhibits promising clinical safety and prolongs the survival of patients with late-stage lung or liver cancer显示文摘Vγ9Vδ2 T cells are promising candidates for cellular tumor immunotherapy.Due to their HLA-independent mode of action,allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells can be considered for clinical application.To apply allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells in adoptive immunotherapy,the methodology used to obtain adequate cell numbers with optimal effector function in vitro needs to be optimized,and clinical safety and efficacy also need to be proven.Therefore,we developed a novel formula to improve the expansion of peripheralγδT cells from healthy donors.Then,we used a humanized mouse model to validate the therapeutic efficacy of expandedγδT cells in vivo;furthermore,the expandedγδT cells were adoptively transferred into late-stage liver and lung cancer patients.We found that the expanded cells possessed significantly improved immune effector functions,including proliferation,differentiation,and cancer cell killing,both in vitro and in the humanized mouse model.Furthermore,a phase I clinical trial in 132 late-stage cancer patients with a total of 414 cell infusions unequivocally validated the clinical safety of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T cells.Among these 132 patients,8 liver cancer patients and 10 lung cancer patients who received≥5 cell infusions showed greatly prolonged survival,which preliminarily verified the efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell therapy.Our clinical studies underscore the safety and efficacy of allogeneic Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell immunotherapy,which will inspire further clinical investigations and eventually benefit cancer patients.Yan Xu Zheng Xiang Mohammed Alnaggar Léonce Kouakanou Jiawei Li Junyi He Jiashuang Yang Yi Hu Yan Chen Li Lin Jianlei Hao Jingxia Li Jibing Chen Man Li Qingling Wu Christian Peters Qinghua Zhou Jianshuang Li Yingqing Liang Xiaohua Wang Baohui Han Meili Ma Dieter Kabelitz Kecheng Xu Wenwei Tu Yangzhe Wu Zhinan Yin 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:8

4Nitrogen and Phosphorus Pollutants Removal from Rice Field Drainage with Ecological Agriculture Ditch: A Field Case显示文摘Excessive nitrogen and phosphorus in agricultural drainage can cause a series of water environmental problems such as eutrophication of water bodies and non-point source pollution.By monitoring the water purification effect of a paddy ditch wetland in Gaochun,Nanjing,Jiangsu Province,we investigated the spatial and temporal distribution patterns of N and P pollutants in paddy drains during the whole reproductive period of rice.Then,the dynamic changes of nitrogen and phosphorus in time and space during the two processes of rainfall after basal fertilization and topdressing were analyzed after comparison.At last,the effect of the ditch wetland on nutrient purification and treatment mechanism,along with changing flow and concentration in paddy drains,was clarified.The results of this study showed that the concentrations of various nitrogen and phosphorus in the ditch basically reached the peak on the second and third days after the rainfall(5.98 mg/L for TN and 0.21 mg/L for TP),which provided a response time for effective control of nitrogen and phosphorus loss.The drainage can be purified by the ecological ditch,about 89.61%,89.03%,89.61%,98.14%,and 79.05%of TN,NH4+-N,NO3−-N,NO2−-N,and TP decline.It is more effective than natural ditches for water purification with 80.59%,40%,12.07%,91.06%and 18.42%removal rates,respectively.The results of the study can provide a theoretical basis for controlling agricultural non-point source pollution and improving the water environment of rivers and lakes scientifically.Lina Chen Wenshuo Zhang Junyi Tan Xiaohou Shao Yaliu Qiu Fangxiu Zhang Xiang Zhang 2022Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,12:1
5Biomarkers for early diagnosis of autism obtained through bioinformatics analysis of human blood sample显示文摘Objective:autism spectrum disorder(ASD),a serious disorder that begins early in life,con-tinues throughout the lifespan.Children with ASD who are diagnosed early are more responsive to therapeutic interventions and have less social and language impair-ment than children diagnosed later;however,current di-agnostic measures are mostly applied to children older than one year and lack the appropriate biological markers for early diagnosis of ASD.Using bioinformatic analy-sis,this study explores the molecular information mech-anism of ASD.Method:in this study,we used dataset GSE6575 from Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)to an-alyze the mRNA expression profile of ASD,including 35 ASD samples and 12 normal control samples looking for different genes and we did enrichment analysis of those genes.We then used the STRING database to construct a protein-protein interaction(PPI)network of differential genes.Finally,Cytoscape plug-in cytoHubba was used to search for hub genes.The diagnostic value of the hub genes was verified by subject operating characteristic curves.Result:we looked for 50 different genes and did an enrichment analysis of those genes.The results of the enrichment analysis showed that these differential genes were mainly concentrated in the response to viruses,the immune regulation of inflammation and energy metabo-lism.Using Cytoscape plug-in cytoHubba,we found ten different genes.We drew ROC curves for all ten genes among which two genes,interleukin 2 receptor subunit beta(IL2Rβ)and perforin 1(PRF1),had good sensitivity and specificity for the early diagnosis of autism.The ar-eas under the ROC curves were 0.855,0.830 for IL2Rβ,PRF1.Conclusion:data analysis using the GEO data-base can provide new insights into the etiology of ASD as well as some possible biomarkers and therapeutic targets for early diagnosis and treatment of ASD.Liuyin Jin Linman Wu Zhilan Yang Junyi Xiang Wenqian Xu Chang Shu Gaohua Wang 2021Journal of Translational Neuroscience2021,6,4:0
6Versatile strategies for adult neurogenesis:avenues to repair the injured brain显示文摘Brain injuries due to trauma or stroke are major causes of adult death and disability.Unfortunately,few interventions are effective for post-injury repair of brain tissue.After a long debate on whether endogenous neurogenesis actually happens in the adult human brain,there is now substantial evidence to support its occurrence.Although neurogenesis is usually significantly stimulated by injury,the reparative potential of endogenous differentiation from neural stem/progenitor cells is usually insufficient.Alternatively,exogenous stem cell transplantation has shown promising results in animal models,but limitations such as poor long-term survival and inefficient neuronal differentiation make it still challenging for clinical use.Recently,a high focus was placed on glia-to-neuron conversion under single-factor regulation.Despite some inspiring results,the validity of this strategy is still controversial.In this review,we summarize historical findings and recent advances on neurogenesis strategies for neurorepair after brain injury.We also discuss their advantages and drawbacks,as to provide a comprehensive account of their potentials for further studies.Junyi Zhao Siyu Liu Xianyuan Xiang Xinzhou Zhu 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,4:0

8Simultaneous regulation on coordination environment and interfacial chemistry via taurine for stabilized Zn metal anode显示文摘Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs)are the potential options for the next-generation energy storage scenarios due to the cost effectiveness and intrinsic safety.Nevertheless,the industrial application of AZIBs is still impeded by a series of parasitic reactions and dendrites at zinc anodes.In this study,taurine(TAU)is used in electrolyte to simultaneously optimize the coordination condition of the ZnSO4electrolyte and interfacial chemistry at the anode.TAU can preferentially adsorb with the zinc metal and induce an in situ stable and protective interface on the anode,which would avoid the connection between H_(2)O and the zinc metal and promote the even deposition of Zn^(2+).The resulting Zn//Zn batteries achieve more than 3000 hours long cyclic lifespan under 1 mA cm^(-2)and an impressive cumulative capacity at 5 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,Zn//Cu batteries can realize a reversible plating/stripping process over 2,400cycles,with a desirable coulombic efficiency of 99.75%(1 mA cm^(-2)).Additionally,the additive endows Zn//NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)batteries with more stable cyclic performance and ultrafast rate capability.These capabilities can promote the industrial application of AZIBs.Xin Xu Junyi Yin Ruimin Qin Haoliang Liu Xiang Feng Minghui Wang Mingyan Li Weiyu Sun Weichen Shi Bing Xiao Yaqiong Su Yonghong Cheng 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11:0
9A novel ferroelectric based on quinuclidine derivatives显示文摘The compound[(CH3)2 CH-C3 H17 N][CoBr4](1)based on quinuclidine derivatives was achieved by the solution synthetic method and characterized by elemental analysis,infrared spectroscopy,single-crystal X-ray structural analysis and dielectric measurement,respectively.Variable-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction suggested that the compound unde rwent the phase transition from the space group C2/c to Cc.The polarization curve was measured using the Sawyer-Tower circuit.The structural phase transitions of 1 was ascribed to the distortion of a[(CH3)2 CH-C3 H17N]2+cation from this inorganicorganic hybrid material[(CH3)2 CH-C3 H17N][CoBr4].The strong change in dielectric anomalies makes compound 1 a suitable candidate for promising switchable dielectric materials.This work represents a feasible strategy thought for the targeted harvesting of low temperature ferroelectrics.Siyu Deng Junyi Li Xiang Chen Yunlong Hou Lizhuang Chen 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,6:0
10A MADS-box gene is involved in soybean resistance to multiple Soybean mosaic virus strains显示文摘Soybean mosaic virus(SMV)is a member of the genus Potyvirus that extensively impairs global soybean production.The full-length coding sequence of the MADS-box transcription factor Gm CAL was cloned from the SMV-resistant soybean cultivar Kefeng 1.SMV-induced expression analysis indicated that Gm CAL responded quickly to SMV-SC8 infection in Kefeng 1 but not in NN1138-2.Gm CAL was expressed at high levels in flowers and pods but at lower levels in leaves.The gene was localized to the nucleus by subcellular localization assay.Virus-induced gene silencing did not increase the accumulation of SMV in Gm CAL-silenced Kefeng 1 plants(with silencing efficiency~80%)after SC8 inoculation.Gm CAL-silencing plants still conferred resistance to SC8 that might be owing to incomplete silencing of genes with lower expression.SMV content decreased significantly in Gm CAL-overexpressing NN1138-2 plants after SMVSC3,SMV-SC7,and SMV-SC8 inoculation in comparison with a vector control,showing that overexpression of Gm CAL conferred broad-spectrum resistance to multiple SMV strains.These results confirm that Gm CAL,a key regulator but not a specific SC8 resistance gene(Rsc8),is a positive regulatory transcription factor involved in soybean resistance to SMV.Qiuyan Ren Hua Jiang Wenyang Xiang Yang Nie Song Xue Haijian Zhi Kai Li Junyi Gai 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,3:0
11Distribution, evolution and structural properties of Wushenqi paleo-uplift in Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘This paper depicts the distribution of the Wushenqi paleo-uplift in the Ordos Basin by using the latest drilling and seismic data, and analyzes the tectonic evolution of the paleo-uplift with the support of Bischke curve and balanced section. The compressional Wushenqi paleo-uplift which developed in the Early Caledonian orogeny(Huaiyuan orogeny) is approximately a ellipse extending in S-N direction. Its long axis is about 194 km and short axis is about 55-94 km in nearly W-E direction. The denudation thickness and area of the Cambrian in the core are 170-196 m and 11 298 km^(2), respectively. It was mainly formed during the Huaiyuan orogeny according to the chronostratigraphic framework. It was in the embryonic stage in the Middle-Late Cambrian, denuded after developed obviously at the end of Late Cambrian. The paleo-uplift of the 3rd member of the Ordovician Majiagou Formation was reactivated and reduced in area. In the sedimentary period of the Ma 4 Member-pre-Carboniferous, the paleo-uplift experienced non-uniform uplift and denudation. It entered the stable period of burial and preservation in the Carboniferous and later period. The Wushenqi paleo-uplift was formed on the weak area of the basement and tectonic belts, into an compressional structure with irregular morphology, under the control of the non-coaxial compression in the south and north and the stress transmitted by the uplift in the basin.
