2脱脂糯小米米糠粉对面团流变学性质及馒头品质的影响显示文摘对比两种不同目数脱脂糯小米米糠粉(简称米糠粉)对面团流变学性质的影响;采用感官评价和质构分析相结合评价其对馒头品质的影响,确定其最适添加量。结果表明:两种粒度米糠粉在添加量为6%(质量分数,下同)以下时,对面团的粉质特性均有一定的改良作用。两种米糠粉的添加对面团的拉伸特性都有一定的恶化作用,但100~200目米糠粉添加量为4%~6%和过400目米糠粉添加量为6%~8%时,面团的拉伸特性恶化不明显。随着100~200目米糠粉添加量的增加,馒头的白度值逐渐减小;添加量为4%~6%时馒头的硬度、弹性、咀嚼性和回复性都较好,且感官评价得分较高。过400目米糠粉的添加对馒头的白度值影响相对较小,其添加量小于6%时馒头质构性质较好,且感官评价得分高于100~200目米糠粉。综上所述,添加适量的米糠粉可以在一定程度上延缓馒头老化,100~200目米糠粉的添加量应控制在4%~6%,过400目米糠粉添加量应控制在6%~8%。邓利 Kizzy Nerissa Kira Ereia RENNIE 梁叶星 钟耕 2015食品科学2015,36,7:13

4Kaempferia parviflora ethanol extract improves self-assessed sexual health in men:a pilot study显示文摘Background: Sexual health positively correlates with overall wellbeing. Existing therapeutics to enhance male sexual health are limited by factors that include responsiveness, adherence and adverse effects. As the population ages, safe and effective interventions that preserve male sexual function are needed.Published research suggests that various preparations of Kaempferia parviflora, a plant in the Zingiberaceae(ginger) family, support cardiovascular health and may ameliorate erectile function.Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the effects of KaempMax^(TM), an ethanol extract of the K. parviflora rhizome, on erectile function in healthy middle-aged and older men.Design, setting, participants and interventions: We conducted an open-label, one-arm study on 14 generally healthy males aged 50–68 years with self-reported mild erectile dysfunction, who were not using prescription treatments. Participants took 100 mg KaempMax^(TM)daily for 30 days.Main outcome measures: Evaluations were conducted at baseline and on the final study assessment.Primary efficacy analyses included the International Index of Erectile Function(IIEF); secondary efficacy analyses included the Global Assessment Question about erectile function.Results: Thirteen participants completed the 30-day study. Supplementation with KaempMax^(TM)resulted in statistically significant improvements in erectile function, intercourse satisfaction and total scores on the IIEF questionnaire. KaempMax^(TM)was well tolerated and exhibited an excellent safety profile.Conclusion: Our results suggest that KaempMax^(TM)may improve erectile function in healthy middle-aged and older men. While the effects were not as pronounced as what might be seen with prescription medication, most participants found them satisfactory. 6Phylogenomics,biogeography,and evolution of the blue-or white-fruited dogwoods(Cornus)-Insights into morphological and ecological niche divergence following intercontinental geographic isolation显示文摘The eastern Asian(EA)-eastem North American(ENA)floristic disjunction represents a major pattern of phytogeography of the Northern Hemisphere.Despite 20 years of studies dedicated to identification of taxa that display this disjunct pattern,its origin and evolution remain an open question,especially regarding postisolation evolution.The blue-or white-fruited dogwoods(BW)are the most species-rich among the four major clades of Cornus L.,consisting of-35 species divided into three subgenera(subg.Yinquania,subg.Mesomora,and subg.Kraniopsis).The BW group provides an excellent example of the EA-ENA floristic disjunction for biogeographic study due to its diversity distribution centered in eastern Asia and eastern North America,yet its species relationships and delineation have remained poorly understood.In this study,we combined genome-wide markers from RAD-seq,morphology,fossils,and climate data to understand species relationships,biogeographic history,and ecological niche and morphological evolution.Our phylogenomic analyses with RAxML and MrBayes recovered a strongly supported and well-resolved phylogeny of the BW group with three intercontinental disjunct clades in EA and ENA or Eurasia and North America,of which two are newly identified within subg.Kraniopsis.These analyses also recovered a potential new species but failed to resolve relationships within the C.hemsleyi-C.schindleri complex.In an effort to develop an approach to reduce computation time,analysis of different nodal age settings in treePL suggests setting a node's minimum age constraint to the lower bound of a fossil's age range to obtain similar ages to that of BEAST.Divergence time analyses with BEAST and treePL dated the BW stem back to the very Late Cretaceous and the divergence of the three subgenera in the Paleogene.By integrating fossil ages and morphology,a total evidence-based dating approach was used in conjunction with time-slice probabilities of dispersal under a DEC model to resolve ancestral ranges of each disjunct in the Miocene:Eurasia and ENA(disjunct 1),EA and western North America(disjunct 2),and EA(disjunct 3).The dated biogeographic history supports dispersal via the North Atlantic Land Bridge in the late Paleogene in disjunct 1 and dispersal via the Bering Land Bridge in the Miocene for disjuncts 2 and 3.Character mapping with a stochastic model in phytools and comparison of ecological niche,morphospace,and rate of evolution indicated differential divergence patterns in morphology,ecological niche,and molecules between disjunct sisters.Although morphological stasis was observed in most of the characters,evolutionary changes in growth habit and some features of leaf,flower,and fruit morphology occurred in one or both sister clades.A significant differentiation of ecological habitats in temperature,precipitation,and elevation between disjunct sisters was observed,suggesting a role of niche divergence in morphological evolution post-isolation.The patterns of evolutionary rate between morphology and molecules varied among disjunct clades and were not always congruent between morphology and molecules,suggesting cases of non-neutral morphological evolution driven by ecological selection.Our phylogenetic evidence and comparisons of evolutionary rate among disjunct lineages lend new insights into the formation of the diversity anomaly between EA and ENA,with particular support of an early diversification in EA.These findings,in conjunction with previous studies,again suggest that the EA-ENA disjunct floras are an assembly of lineages descended from the Mesophytic Forests that evolved from the early Paleogene“boreotropical flora”through varied evolutionary pathways across lineages.Kira Lindelof Julieta ALindo Wenbin Zhou Xiang Ji Qiu-Yun(Jenny)Xiang 2020Journal of Systematics and Evolution2020,58,5:3

8Scintigraphic evaluation of gallbladder motor functions in H pylori positive and negative patients in the stomach with dyspepsia显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the relationship between gallbladder (GB) motor function and H pylori infection in the stomach. METHODS: All cases (86) underwent the 14C urea breath test (UBT). 14C-UBT was found as positive in 58 and negative in 28 dyspeptic patients. 14C- UBT was accepted as a gold standard test. Clo test and histopathologic examination were compared with the results of 14C-UBT in cases who tolerated upper gastrointestinal endoscopy procedure. Cholescintigraphy with 99mTc-mebrofenin was used to determine the parameters of GB motor function (GB filling and emptying time, half of the emptying time, ejection fraction at 30th and 60th min) in all patients. RESULTS: We found the sensitivity and specificity as 88% and 86% for Clo test and as 89% and 80% for histologic evaluation, respectively. The parameters of GB function were not significantly different in H pylori positive and negative patients. The GB emptying was normal in both groups. Minimum GB filling time was 30 min in 34 of 86 cases (39.5%), filling was not observed in 2 cases. The GB ultrasonography (USG) results were normal for all cases and bile composition abnormality was not determined.CONCLUSION: Our study showed that 14C-UBT is highly reliable method to detect the presence of H pylori. 10On 2-Site Voronoi Diagrams Under Geometric Distance Functions显示文摘We revisit a new type of Voronoi diagram, in which distance is measured from a point to a pair of points. We consider a few more such distance functions, based on geometric primitives, namely, circles and triangles, and analyze the structure and complexity of the nearest- and furthest-neighbor 2-site Voronoi diagrams of a point set in the plane with respect to these distance functions. 14Bone regeneration with osteogenic matrix cell sheet and tricalcium phosphate:An experimental study in sheep显示文摘AIM To determine the effects of a cell sheet created from sheep bone marrow and tricalcium phosphate(TCP) on osteogenesis.METHODS Bone marrow cells were harvested from a sheep and cultured in a minimal essential medium(MEM) containing ascorbic acid phosphate(AscP) and dexamethasone(Dex). After 2 wk, the formed osteogenic matrix cell sheet was lifted from the culture dish using a scraper. Additionally, harvested bone marrow cells were cultured in MEM only as a negative control group, and in MEM with AscP, Dex, and β-glycerophosphate as a positive control group. For in vitro evaluation, we measured the alkaline phosphatase(ALP) activity and osteocalcin(OC) content in the media of the cultured cells from each group. For in vivo analysis, a porous TCP ceramic was used as a scaffold. We prepared an experimental group comprising TCP scaffolds wrapped with the osteogenic matrix cell sheets and a control group consisting of the TCP scaffold only. The constructs wereimplanted subcutaneously into athymic rats and the cell donor sheep, and bone formation was confirmed by histology after 4 wk.RESULTS In the in vitro part, the mean ALP activity was 0.39 ± 0.03 mg/well in the negative control group, 0.67 ± 0.04 mg/well in the sheet group, and 0.65 ± 0.07 mg/well in the positive control group. The mean OC levels were 1.46 ± 0.33 ng/well in the negative control group, 3.92 ± 0.16 ng/well in the sheet group, and 4.4 ± 0.47 ng/well in the positive control group, respectively. The ALP activity and OC levels were significantly higher in the cell sheet and positive control groups than in the negative control group(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in ALP activity or OC levels between the cell sheet group and the positive control group(P > 0.05). TCP constructs wrapped with cell sheets prior to implantation showed bone formation, in contrast to TCP scaffolds alone, which exhibited poor bone formation when implanted, in the subcutaneous layer both in athymic rats and in the sheep.
