1Dynamic characteristics of dwarf Chinese hickory trees under impact excitations for mechanical fruit harvesting显示文摘Mechanical vibration is an effective fruit harvesting method.To evaluate the dynamic characteristics of dwarf Chinese hickory(Carya cathayensis Sarg.)trees and the influence of the tree structure on transmission and attenuation of dynamic response,a new method was proposed based on acceleration admittance measurement on dwarf Chinese hickory trees in orchard environment under impact excitation.The primary resonance frequencies of the tree can be determined based on the acceleration admittance measurement.The effect of the tree structure on the vibratory transmission was quantified using the attenuation ratio of the acceleration admittance.A 5-year-old dwarf Chinese hickory tree sample was tested.The responses at three resonance frequencies(5,9 and 12 Hz)were analyzed because they were identified as the most effective bands of excitation for the main part of the tree specimen.The results reveal that the variation of the dynamic response along the testing tree is greatly related to the Chinese hickory tree structure.The attenuation ratio of the acceleration admittance at the branch crotches indicates the leader top crotch may amplify the acceleration admittance no matter what the crotch angle and the branch diameter is.Unlike the crotches,the branch chain nodes generally have negative influence on the acceleration admittance along the branch chains which heavily depend on the branch chain configuration.The branch chains with a chain angle no less than 150°and a wood diameter ratio close to 1.0 could produce little influence on the vibration transmission.For those branches with chain angle less than 150°,the vibration was generally attenuated at their chain nodes at three resonance frequencies.To impose impact excitations on the tree,high mechanical harvesting efficiency could be achieved on those branch chains which are almost straight and uniform.Du Xiaoqiang Wu Chuanyu He Leiying Tong Junhua 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,1:8
2Cerium oxide nanoparticles loaded nanofibrous membranes promote bone regeneration for periodontal tissue engineering显示文摘Bone regeneration is a crucial part in the treatment of periodontal tissue regeneration,in which new attempts come out along with the development of nanomaterials.Herein,the effect of cerium oxide nanoparticles(CeO_(2)NPs)on the cell behavior and function of human periodontal ligament stem cells(hPDLSCs)was investigated.Results of CCK-8 and cell cycle tests demonstrated that CeO_(2)NPs not only had good biocompatibility,but also promoted cell proliferation.Furthermore,the levels of alkaline phosphatase activity,mineralized nodule formation and expressions of osteogenic genes and proteins demonstrated CeO_(2)NPs could promote osteogenesis differentiation of hPDLSCs.Then we chose electrospinning to fabricate fibrous membranes containing CeO_(2)NPs.We showed that the composite membranes improved mechanical properties as well as realized release of CeO_(2)NPs.We then applied the composite membranes to in vivo study in rat cranial defect models.Micro-CT and histopathological evaluations revealed that nanofibrous membranes with CeO_(2)NPs further accelerated new bone formation.Those exciting results demonstrated that CeO_(2)NPs and porous membrane contributed to osteogenic ability,and CeO_(2)NPs contained electrospun membrane may be a promising candidate material for periodontal bone regeneration.Shuangshuang Ren Yi Zhou Kai Zheng Xuanwen Xu Jie Yang Xiaoyu Wang Leiying Miao Hui Wei Yan Xu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,1:5

14Synergetic enhancement of photoconductivity in oxotitanium phthalocyanine nanocrystalline/fluoronone-based azo/BAH composite photoreceptors显示文摘A simple method of liquid phase direct precipitation (LPDP) is employed to prepare oxotitanium phthalocyanine (TiOPc) nanoparticles. By encapsulation within casein coating, the TiOPc nanoparticles exhibit uniform and well controlled particle sizes. The results of photoinduced discharge experiment demonstrates that the photoconductivity of the photoreceptors fabricated with TiOPc nanoparticles and fluoronone based azo pigments as composite carrier generation materials was substantially enhanced. 17A critical review on nickel-based cathodes in rechargeable batteries显示文摘The 3d transition-metal nickel(Ni)-based cathodes have long been widely used in rechargeable batteries for over 100 years,from Ni-based alkaline rechargeable batteries,such as nickel-cadmium(Ni-Cd)and nickel-metal hydride(Ni-MH)batteries,to the Ni-rich cathode featured in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Ni-based alkaline batteries were first invented in the 1900s,and the well-developed Ni-MH batteries were used on a large scale in Toyota Prius vehicles in the mid-1990s.Around the same time,however,Sony Corporation commercialized the first LIBs in camcorders.After temporally fading as LiCoO_(2) dominated the cathode in LIBs,nickel oxide-based cathodes eventually found their way back to the mainstreaming battery industry.The uniqueness of Ni in batteries is that it helps to deliver high energy density and great storage capacity at a low cost.This review mainly provides a comprehensive overview of the key role of Ni-based cathodes in rechargeable batteries.After presenting the physical and chemical properties of the 3d transition-metal Ni,which make it an optimal cationic redox center in the cathode of batteries,we introduce the structure,reaction mechanism,and modification of nickel hydroxide electrode in Ni-Cd and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.We then move on to the Ni-based layered oxide cathode in LIBs,with a focus on the structure,issues,and challenges of layered oxides,LiNiO_(2),and LiNi_(1−x−y)Co_(x)Mn_(y)O_(2).The role of Ni in the electrochemical performance and thermal stability of the Ni-rich cathode is highlighted.By bridging the“old”Ni-based batteries and the“modern”Ni-rich cathode in the LIBs,this review is committed to providing insights into the Ni-based electrochemistry and material design,which have been under research and development for over 100 years.This overview would shed new light on the development of advanced Ni-containing batteries with high energy density and long cycle life.Lifan Wang Jingyue Wang Leiying Wang Mingjun Zhang Rui Wang Chun Zhan 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,5:1

19Dissolution Behavior of Delta Ferrites in Martensitic Heat-resistant Steel for Ultra Supercritical Units Blades显示文摘The dissolution behavior of delta ferrites in martensitic heat-resistant steel was studied.And the reason why the dissolution rate of delta ferrites decreased with dissolution time was discussed.The experimental results show that the chemical compositions of delta ferrites negligibly change with dissolution time.The decrease of dissolution rate of delta ferrites with dissolution time should be attributed to the change of shape and distribution of delta ferrites.The shape of delta ferrites tends to transfer from polygon to sphere with dissolution time,causing the decrease of specific surface area of delta ferrites.The distribution position of delta ferrites tends to transfer from boundaries of austenite grains to interior of austenite grains with dissolution time,decreasing the diffusion coefficient of alloy atoms.Both them decrease the dissolution rate of delta ferrites.李俊儒 WANG Leiying WANG Hailong ZHANG Pengfei GUO Fanghui ZHANG Xu 2022Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2022,37,4:1
