1Ridge subduction and porphyry copper-gold mineralization:An overview显示文摘Many large porphyry Cu-Au deposits are connected to adakitic rocks known to be closely associated with ridge subduction. For example, there are several subducting ridges along the east Pacific margin, e.g., in Chile, Peru, and South America, most of which are associated with large porphyry Cu-Au deposits. In contrast, there are much fewer ridge subductions on the west Pacific margin and porphyry Cu-Au deposits are much less there, both in terms of tonnage and the number of deposits. Given that Cu and Au are moderately incompatible elements, oceanic crust has much higher Cu-Au concentrations than the mantle and the continental crust, and thus slab melts with their diagnostic adakitic chemistry have systematically higher Cu and Au, which is favorable for mineralization. Considering the geotherm of subducting slabs in the Phanerozoic, ridge subduction is the most favorable tectonic setting for this. Therefore, slab melting is the likely link in the spatial association between ridge subduction and Cu-Au deposits. 2Polymorphism-Dependent Dynamic Ultralong Organic Phosphorescence显示文摘Developing ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)materials with smart response to external stimuli is of great interest in photonics applications,whereas the manipulation of molecular stacking on tuning such dynamic UOP is still a formidable challenge.Herein,we have reported two polymorphs with distinct photoactivated dynamic UOP behavior based on a pyridine derivative for the first time.Our experiment revealed that the dynamic UOP behavior including photoactivation and deactivation feature is highly dependent on irradiation intensity and environmental atmosphere.Additionally,given the unique dynamic UOP feature,these phosphors have been successfully applied to phosphorescence-dependent molecular logic gate and timing data storage.This result not only paves a way to design smart functional materials but also expands the scope of the applications on organic phosphorescence materials.Mingxing Gu Huifang Shi Kun Ling Anqi Lv Kaiwei Huang Manjeet Singh He Wang Long Gu Wei Yao Zhongfu An Huili Ma Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:5
3High oxygen fugacity magma:implication for the destruction of the North China Craton显示文摘The mechanism of lithospheric removal and destruction of the North China Craton(NCC)has been hotly debated for decades.It is now generally accepted that the subduction of the(Paleo)-Pacific plate played an important role in this process.However,how the plate subduction contributed to the craton destruction remains unclear.Here we report high oxygen fugacity(fO2)characteristics of the Yunmengshan granite,e.g.,hematitemagnetite intergrowth supported by zircon Ce^4+/Ce^3+ratios and apatite Mn oxygen fugacity indicator.High fO2 magmas are widely discovered in Late Mesozoic(160-130 Ma)adakitic rocks in central NCC.The origin of high fO2 magma is likely related to the input of the'oxidized mantle components',which shows a dose connection between plate subduction and destruction of the craton.The research area is^1500 km away from the current Pacific subduction zone.Considering the back-arc extension of Japan Sea since the Cretaceous,this distance may be shortened to^800 km,which is still too far for normal plate subduction.Ridge subduction is the best candidate that was responsible for the large scale magmatism and the destruction of the NCC.Massive slab-derived fluids and/or melts were liberated into an overlying mantle wedge and modified the lithospheric mantle.Rollback of the subducting plate induced the large-scale upwelling of asthenospheric mantle and triggered the formation of extensive high fO2 intraplate magmas.Zhekun Zhang Mingxing Ling Lipeng Zhang Saijun Sun Weidong Sun 2020Acta Geochimica2020,39,2:4

7A novel porous silica-zirconia coating for improving bond performance of dental zirconia显示文摘Objective:To coat a zirconia surface with silica-zirconia using a dip-coating technique and evaluate its effect on resin-zirconia shear bond strength(SBS).Methods:A silica-zirconia suspension was prepared and used to coat a zirconia surface using a dip-coating technique.One hundred and eighty-nine zirconia disks were divided into three groups according to their different surface treatments(polishing,sandblasting,and silica-zirconia coating).Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were used to analyze the differently treated zirconia surfaces.Different primer treatments(Monobond N,Z-PRIME Plus,and no primer)were also applied to the zirconia surfaces.Subsequently,180 composite resin cylinders(Filtek Z350)were cemented onto the zirconia disks with resin cement(RelyX Ultimate).The SBS was measured after water storage for 24 h or 6 months.The data were analyzed by two-way analysis of variance(ANOVA).Results:SEM and EDX showed that the silica-zirconia coating produced a porous layer with additional Si,and XRD showed that only tetragonal zirconia was on the silica-zirconia-coating surface.Compared with the control group,the resin-zirconia SBSs of the,andblasting group and silica-zirconia-coating group were significantly increased(P<0.05).The silica-zirconia coating followed by the application of Monobond N produced the highest SBS(P<0.05).Water aging significantly reduced the resin-zirconia SBS(P<0.05).Conclusions:Dip-coating with silica-zirconia might be a feasible way to improve resin-zirconia bonding.Zhiwei SU Mingxing LI Ling ZHANG Chaoyang WANG Leiqing ZHANG Jingqiu XU Baiping FU 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,3:1
8Human 8-cell embryos enable efficient induction of disease-preventive mutations without off-target effect by cytosine base editor显示文摘Approximately 140 million people worldwide are homozygous carriers of APOE4(ε4),a strong genetic risk factor for late onset familial and sporadic Alzheimer’s disease(AD),91%of whom will develop AD at earlier age than heterozygous carriers and noncarriers.Susceptibility to AD could be reduced by targeted editing of APOE4,but a technical basis for controlling the off-target effects of base editors is necessary to develop low-risk personalized gene therapies.Here,we first screened eight cytosine base editor variants at four injection stages(from 1-to 8-cell stage),and found that FNLS-YE1 variant in 8-cell embryos achieved the comparable base conversion rate(up to 100%)with the lowest bystander effects.In particular,80%of AD-susceptibleε4 allele copies were converted to the AD-neutralε3 allele in humanε4-carrying embryos.Stringent control measures combined with targeted deep sequencing,whole genome sequencing,and RNA sequencing showed no DNA or RNA off-target events in FNLS-YE1-treated human embryos or their derived stem cells.Furthermore,base editing with FNLS-YE1 showed no effects on embryo development to the blastocyst stage.Finally,we also demonstrated FNLS-YE1 could introduce known protective variants in human embryos to potentially reduce human susceptivity to systemic lupus erythematosus and familial hypercholesterolemia.Our study therefore suggests that base editing with FNLS-YE1 can efficiently and safely introduce known preventive variants in 8-cell human embryos,a potential approach for reducing human susceptibility to AD or other genetic diseases.Yinghui Wei Meiling Zhang Jing Hu Yingsi Zhou Mingxing Xue Jianhang Yin Yuanhua Liu Hu Feng Ling Zhou Zhifang Li Dongshuang Wang Zhiguo Zhang Yin Zhou Hongbin Liu Ning Yao Erwei Zuo Jiazhi Hu Yanzhi Du Wen Li Chunlong Xu Hui Yang 2023Protein & Cell2023,14,6:0
9Yangshan A-Type Granites in the Lower Yangtze River Belt Formed by Ridge Subduction:Radiogenic Ca and Nd Isotopic Constraints显示文摘The Early Cretaceous aluminous A-type granites in the Lower Yangtze River belt(LYRB)can provide important insights into the Mesozoic magmatism in eastern China,but their origin remains highly controversial.In this study,radiogenic Ca-Nd isotopic analysis was performed for syenite porphyry and alkali-feldspar granite porphyry of the Yangshan pluton,a typical aluminous A-type granitic intrusion in the LYRB,to constrain its source and geodynamic setting.The results show thatε_(Ca)(126 Ma),ε_(Nd)(126 Ma)and K/Ca_(source) of the syenite porphyry range from-0.24 to+0.96,-7.2 to-6.0,and 0.31 to 1.26,respectively.The corresponding values for the alkali-feldspar granite porphyry range from 0.26 to 0.84,-8.0 to-6.1,and 0.79 to 1.08,respectively.Binary mixing modeling indicates that they were originated from the same sources with different proportion,namely,a mixing of 50%to 75%Neoproterozoic crust and 50%to 25%asthenospheric mantle.Together with previous works,we propose that the Early Cretaceous subduction of the ridge between the Pacific and Izanagi plates was responsible for the formation of the aluminous A-type granites in the LYRB.Jianghao Bai Mingxing Ling Xiaoyong Yang Fang Liu Huangling Gu Zebin Luo Xiaoyan Jiang Zhaofeng Zhang 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,3:0

11Efficient Hierarchical Multi-Server Authentication Protocol for Mobile Cloud Computing显示文摘With the development of communication technologies,various mobile devices and different types of mobile services became available.The emergence of these services has brought great convenience to our lives.The multi-server architecture authentication protocols for mobile cloud computing were proposed to ensure the security and availability between mobile devices and mobile services.However,most of the protocols did not consider the case of hierarchical authentication.In the existing protocol,when a mobile user once registered at the registration center,he/she can successfully authenticate with all mobile service providers that are registered at the registration center,but real application scenarios are not like this.For some specific scenarios,some mobile service providers want to provide service only for particular users.For this reason,we propose a new hierarchical multi-server authentication protocol for mobile cloud computing.The proposed protocol ensures only particular types of users can successfully authenticate with certain types of mobile service providers.The proposed protocol reduces computing and communication costs by up to 42.6%and 54.2%compared to two superior protocols.The proposed protocol can also resist the attacks known so far.Jiangheng Kou Mingxing He Ling Xiong Zihang Ge Guangmin Xie 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,7:0
