| 1 | Oral bacteria colonize and compete with gut microbiota in gnotobiotic mice显示文摘The oral microbiota is associated with oral diseases and digestive systemic diseases.Nevertheless,the causal relationship between them has not been completely elucidated,and colonisation of the gut by oral bacteria is not clear due to the limitations of existing research models.The aim of this study was to develop a human oral microbiota-associated (HOMA) mouse model and to investigate the ecological invasion into the gut.By transplanting human saliva into germ-free (GF) mice,a HOMA mouse model was first constructed.16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to reveal the biogeography of oral bacteria along the cephalocaudal axis of the digestive tract.In the HOMA mice,84.78% of the detected genus-level taxa were specific to the donor.Principal component analysis (PCA) revealed that the donor oral microbiota clustered with those of the HOMA mice and were distinct from those of specific pathogen-free (SPF) mice.In HOMA mice,OTU counts decreased from the stomach and small intestine to the distal gut.The distal gut was dominated by Streptococcus,Veillonella,Haemophilus,Fusobacterium,Trichococcus and Actinomyces.HOMA mice and human microbiota-associated (HMA) mice along with the GF mice were then cohoused.Microbial communities of cohoused mice clustered together and were significantly separated from those of HOMA mice and HMA mice.The Source Tracker analysis and network analysis revealed more significant ecological invasion from oral bacteria in the small intestines,compared to the distal gut,of cohoused mice.In conclusion,a HOMA mouse model was successfully established.By overcoming the physical and microbial barrier,oral bacteria colonised the gut and profiled the gut microbiota,especially in the small intestine. | Bolei Li Yang Ge Lei Cheng Benhua Zeng Jinzhao Yu Xian Peng Jianhua Zhao Wenxia Li Biao Ren Mingyun Li Hong Wei Xuedong Zhou | 2019 | International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,3: | 7 |
| 2 | Pingchuan formula(平喘方) improves allergic asthma in mice through inhibiting nuclear factor-kappa B/mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To examine the role and decipher the mechanism of Pingchuan formula(平喘方,PCF)in treating allergic asthma.METHODS:The mice were treated with saline,dexamethasone(DXM)and PCF for 1 week after the asthma model was established and their respiratory function including respiratory resistance(RI),pulmonary dynamic compliance(Cdyn)and maximum voluntary ventilation(MVV)were measured.In addition,cellular changes in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)and pathological changes in lung biopsy as well as the expression level ofα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),transforming growth factor-beta1(TGF-β1)in BALF and interleukin-5(IL-5),interleukin-13(IL-13),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interferon-γ(IFN-γ),nuclear factor-kappa B-p65(NF-κBp65),inhibitor-αof nuclear transcription factorκB(IκBα),p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK),c-jun n-terminal kinase(JNK)and its phosphorylated proteins in lung tissue were also examined and compared among different groups.RESULTS:Our data suggested that the respiratory functions were significantly improved and the pathological changes ameliorated in the DXM group and the PCF group compared to the model group.Both DXM and PCF effectively decreased the number of eosinophils,lymphocytes,and neutrophils in BAL as well as the secretion ofα-SMA and TGF-β1,IL-5,IL-13,while increased the expression of TNF-αand IFN-γ.Furthermore,our study indicated that the NF-κBp65,IκBα,p38 MAPK and JNK pathways were inhibited under the treatment of PCF.CONCLUSION:Our data indicated that PCF can attenuate the inflammatory response in asthma through inhibiting the NF-κB/MAPK signaling pathway.This study not only supported the use of PCF in allergic asthma in clinic but also shed light upon afurther understanding of the disease pathogenesis. | WU Mingyun YU Jianer BAI Li XUE Zheng JIANG Shenhua LI Liqing PIAO Xiang XU Wanchao WANG Jiani SHEN Qian | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6: | 4 |
| 3 | Grey information coverage interaction relational decision making and its application显示文摘This study aims to reflect the information coverage grey number and the interaction between attributes in grey relational decision making. Therefore, a multi-attribute decision method based on the grey information coverage interaction relational degree(GIRD) is proposed. Firstly, this paper defines the information coverage grey number, and establishes the GIRD model by using the Choquet fuzzy integral and grey relational principle. It proves that the proposed model not only is the general and unified form of the point relational degree, interval relational degree, mixed relational degree and grey fuzzy integral relational degree, but also can effectively deal with the interaction between attributes. | 4 | Modeling mechanism of a novel fractional grey mode based on matrix analysis显示文摘To fully display the modeling mechanism of the novel fractional order grey model(FGM(q,1)), this paper decomposes the data matrix of the model into the mean generation matrix, the accumulative generation matrix and the raw data matrix, which are consistent with the fractional order accumulative grey model(FAGM(1,1)). Following this, this paper decomposes the accumulative data difference matrix into the accumulative generation matrix, the q-order reductive accumulative matrix and the raw data matrix, and then combines the least square method, finding that the differential order affects the model parameters only by affecting the formation of differential sequences. This paper then summarizes matrix decomposition of some special sequences,such as the sequence generated by the strengthening and weakening operators, the jumping sequence, and the non-equidistance sequence. | 5 | Prediction of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon Bioaccessibility to Earthworms in Spiked Soils by Composite Extraction with Hydroxypropyl-β-Cyclodextrin and Organic Acids显示文摘Traditional exhaustive extraction methods often overestimate the risk of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon(PAH) bioaccessibility to biota. Therefore, reliable assessment methods need to be established. In this study, a composite extraction with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin(HPCD) and three low-molecular-weight organic acids, oxalic acid(OA), malic acid(MA), and citric acid(CA), was used to predict the PAH bioaccessibility to earthworms, subjecting to two soils(red soil and yellow soil) spiked with selected PAHs,phenanthrene, pyrene, chrysene, benzo(a)anthracene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, and benzo(a)pyrene. For both soils,concentrations of PAHs by composite extraction using HPCD-OA(R^2= 0.89–0.92, slope = 1.89–2.03; n = 35), HPCD-MA(R^2=0.92–0.96, slope = 1.43–1.67; n = 35), and HPCD-CA(R^2= 0.92–0.96, slope = 1.26–1.56; n = 35) were significantly correlated with PAH accumulation in the Eisenia fetida earthworms. Moreover, the HPCD-CA-and HPCD-MA-extracted PAH concentrations were closer to the earthworm-accumulated PAH concentration than the extraction using just HPCD. | 6 | Critical Heat Flux(CHF)Correlations for Subcooled Water Flow Boiling at High Pressure and High Heat Flux显示文摘The subcooled water flow boiling is beneficial for removing the high heat flux from the divertor in the fusion reactor,for which an accurate critical heat flux(CHF)correlation is necessary.Up to now,there are many CHF correlations mentioned for subcooled water flow boiling in the open literatures.However,the CHF correlations’accuracies for the prediction of subcooled water flow boiling are not satisfactory at high heat flux and high pressure for reactor divertor.The present paper compiled 1356 CHF experimental data points from 15 independent open literatures and evaluated 10 existing CHF correlations in subcooled water flow boiling.From the evaluation,the W-2 CHF correlation performs best for the experimental CHF data in all existing critical heat flux correlations.However,the predicted mean absolute error(MAE)of the W-2 correlation is not very ideal for all database and the MAE of the W-2 correlation is from 30%to 50%for some database.In order to enhance the CHF prediction accuracy in subcooled water flow boiling at high heat flux and high pressure,the present paper developed a new CHF correlation.Compared with other existing CHF correlations,the new CHF correlation greatly enhances the prediction accuracy over a broad range of pressures and heat fluxes which are desired in the cooling of high heat flux devices,such as those in the fusion reactor divertor.The validation results show that the new correlation has a MAE of 10.05%and a root mean squared error(RMSE)of 16.61%,predicting 68.1%of the entire database within±10%and 81.5%within±15%.The MAE of the new CHF correlation is 7.4%less than that of the best existing one(W-2 correlation),further confirming its superior prediction accuracy and reliability.Besides,the new CHF correlation works well not only for a uniform power profile but also for a non-uniform power profile in subcooled water flow boiling at high pressure and high heat flux. | LIU Ping GUO Yusheng DING Wenlong TANG Mingyun SONG Yuntao PENG Xuebing JI Jiadong CHEN Qinghua MAO Xin | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,1: | 2 |
