| 1 | Acupuncture at Baihui and Dazhui reduces brain cell apoptosis in heroin readdicts显示文摘Acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) and Dazhui(GV14) reduces neuronal loss and attenuates ultrastructural damage in cerebral ischemic rats. However, whether acupuncture can treat addiction and prevent readdiction through changes to brain cell ultrastructure remains unknown. In this study, cell apoptosis was observed in the hippocampus and frontal lobe of heroin readdicted rats by electron microscopy. Immunohistochemical staining displayed a reduction in Bcl-2 expression and an increase in Bax expression in the hippocampus and frontal lobe. After rats were given acupuncture at Baihui and Dazhui, the pathological damage in the hippocampus and frontal lobe was significantly reduced, Bcl-2 expression was upregulated and Bax expression was downregulated. Acupuncture exerted a similar effect with methadone, a commonly used drug for clinical treatment of drug addiction. | 2 | Composition and structure design of three-layered composite phosphors for high color rendering chip-on-board light-emitting diode devices显示文摘A three-layered phosphor structure was designed and prepared by the spin coating of BaSi_(2)N_(2)O_(2):Eu(cyan-emitting)and(Sr,Ca)AlSiN_(3):Eu(red-emitting)phosphor films on the yellowemitting Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12):Ce(YAG:Ce)phosphor ceramic synthesized by the solid-state reaction under vacuum sintering.In order to achieve high color rendering lighting,the influence of the composition and structure of the three-layered phosphors on the optical,thermal,and electrical properties of the chip-on-board(COB)packaged white-light-emitting diodes(WLEDs)was studied systematically.The WLED with the structure of“red+cyan+yellow”(R+C+Y)three-layered phosphor generated neutral white light and had a luminous efficacy of 75 lm/W,the fidelity index(R_(f))of 93,the gamut index(R_(g))of 97,and the correlated color temperature(CCT)of 3852 K.Under the excitation of laser diode(LD),the layer-structured phosphor yielded the white light with a luminous efficacy of 120 lm/W,color rendering index(CRI)of 90,and CCT of 5988 K.The result indicates that the three-layered phosphor structure is a promising candidate to achieve high color rendering and high luminous efficacy lighting. | Xin LIU Xinglu QIAN Peng ZHENG Xiaopu CHEN Yagang FENG Yun SHI Jun ZOU Rongjun XIE Jiang LI | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4: | 5 |
| 3 | LncRNA OIP5-AS1 facilitates gastric cancer cell growth by targeting the miR-422a/ANO1 axis显示文摘OPA-interacting protein 5 antisense transcript 1(OIP5-AS1)plays an important regulatory role in various types of cancers.However,the functional role and regulatory mechanisms of OIP5-AS1 in gastric cancer(GC)remain largely unknown.In this study,we found that the expression of OIP5-AS1 was increased in GC tissues compared with that in adjacent non-cancerous tissues,which was significantly associated with shorter overall survival time of patients.In addition,OIP5-AS1 expression was also increased in GC cell lines including NC1-N87,MKN-45,BGC-823 and SGC-7901,when compared with that in normal gastric epithelial cell line GES-1.Knockdown of OIP5-AS1 markedly suppressed the proliferation and colony formation activities of GC cells,induced G0/G1 arrest and apoptosis of GC cells in vitro,and restrained tum or growth in vivo.Mechanistically,OIP5-AS1 functions as an oncogenic competing endogenous RNA by binding to and sequestering miR-422a to elevate the expression of anoctamin-1.Our study first demonstrated that OIP5-AS1 is a critical and powerful regulator of GC pathogenesis and may represent a novel candidate target for GC therapy. | Rongjun Xie Longfei Liu Xianzhou Lu Yang Hu | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,4: | 4 |
| 4 | Enabling robust and hour-level organic long persistent luminescence from carbon dots by covalent fixation显示文摘The first carbon dot(CD)-based organic long persistent luminescence(OLPL)system exhibiting more than 1 h of duration was developed.In contrast to the established OLPL systems,herein,the reported CDs-based system(named m-CDs@CA)can be facilely and effectively fabricated using a household microwave oven,and more impressively,its LPL can be observed under ambient conditions and even in aqueous media.XRD and TEM characterizations,afterglow decay,time-resolved spectroscopy,and ESR analysis were performed,showing the successful composition of CDs and.CA,the formation of exciplexes and long-lived charged-separated states.Further studies suggest that the production of covalent bonds between CA and CDs plays pivotal roles in activating LPL and preventing its quenching from oxygen and water.To the best of our knowledge,this is a very rare example of an OLPL system that exhibits hourlevel afterglow under ambient conditions.Finally,applications of m-CDs@C.A in glow-in-the-dark paints for emergency signs and multicolored luminous pearls were preliminarily demonstrated.This work may provide new insights for the development of rare earth-free and robust OLPL materials. | Kai Jiang Yuci Wang Cunjian Lin Licheng Zheng Jiaren Du Yixi Zhuang Rongjun Xie Zhongjun Li Hengwei Lin | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,4: | 3 |

Currently, laser-activated silk sealant agent without suture and gauze has been demonstrated promising for fast skin repair taking advantage of its structural transformation after heating. Nevertheless, more efficient healing effects and less side effects of laseractivated silk sealant agent remains challenging due to absence of suitable photo-thermal materials and robust/biomimetic protein materials. In this work, the marriage between silk protein and Rehmanniae radix preparata(a kind of the traditional Chinese herb) has been demonstrated as a novel and effective way to achieve an excellent healing effect for skin repair. The non-toxicity, high photothermal conversion efficiency and healing mechanism are systematically studied and proved.
